The Guardian for this meeting was Pema Pera. The comments are by Pema Pera.

    Pema Pera: Hi Pila!
    Pema Pera: Good afternoon
    Pila Mulligan: hi Pema
    Pila Mulligan: good morning
    Pema Pera: :)
    Pila Mulligan: how be ye?
Pema Pera: me be fine :-)
    Pema Pera: and thou?
    Pila Mulligan: sameth

We then engaged in two intertwined threads of conversation: soccer and weather :)

Pila Mulligan: are you following the world cup?
Pila Mulligan: looks like your home team is doing well
Pema Pera: fine, but rather wet . . . the rainy season makes everything very steamy and muggy
Pila Mulligan: home from early that is
Pila Mulligan: ahh, yes -- familiar weather
Pema Pera: yes indeed, quite a surprise to see them winning from Brasil
Pema Pera: after falling behind at first
Pila Mulligan: looks like they and Germany may be the finalists
Pema Pera: would be interesting . . .
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Pema Pera: given that I grew up near the border between the two countries
Pila Mulligan: well, I'll be for the Netherlands
Pila Mulligan: Nymf gave me this shirt :)
    Pema Pera: (^_^0
Pila Mulligan: we have that constant mositure problem often -- and it then leads to big mildew problems
Pema Pera: very nice indeed, including the Dutch Lion!!

Pila was wearing a bright orange T shirt with a small black Lion, in the style of the Dutch coat of arms.

Pila Mulligan: i don't mind the wet but don;t like mildew
    Pila Mulligan: yep
    Pila Mulligan: not transferrable unfortunately
Pema Pera: I guess my hear is orange enough already here :)
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Pema Pera: a few weeks ago we had a Holland-Japan game in the World Cup -- hard for me to know whom to cheer for that day !
    Pila Mulligan: yes divided loyalties
Pila Mulligan: brb - pizza in oven
    Pila Mulligan: back :)
    Pema Pera: that was quick!
Pila Mulligan: just had to get the pizza form the oven
Pila Mulligan: but a few steps away
    Pema Pera: what's on it?
Pila Mulligan: artichoke and cheese and seaosnoings
Pila Mulligan: on a pita bread
    Pila Mulligan: pitza
    Pila Mulligan: :)
    Pema Pera getting hungry
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Pema Pera: but I have an interesting lunch meeting ahead of me
Pila Mulligan: well Japan is a good place to look for food
Pema Pera: in fact I will have to leave at the half hour, I'm afraid
Pila Mulligan: interesting in regard to food and content I suspect
    Pila Mulligan: ok
Pema Pera: in order to be at my lunch meeting at 12 noon -- I had no say in the scheduling
Pila Mulligan: ahh, the busy life
Pema Pera: it's interesting in that we were invited by the chef of a great restaurant near where we live
Pila Mulligan: I'm decompressing from it and it is fun to be free from it
Pila Mulligan: yes, that does sound interesting
Pema Pera: he and his wife occasionally go to another great restaurant to continue studying
Pema Pera: so we'll learn a lot, beside enjoying the food:
Pila Mulligan: yes, I enjoying cooking and leanring new recipes
Pema Pera: we'll see the special aspects of the new restaurant through the eyes of the chef and his wife from the old restaurant

    A new visitor joins us.

    Pema Pera: Hi Xeno!
    Pila Mulligan: hi Xeno
Xeno Octavia: hi folks id this PaB meet??
    Pila Mulligan: yes
    Xeno Octavia: kool!!
Pema Pera: Have you been here before, Xeno?

Xeno Octavia: no --was curious --sorta
Pema Pera: we get together a few times a day to chat about the nature of reality, and everything else, and we have a wiki http://wiki.playasbeing.org/ -- We record our conversations there. Do you mind being included in our blogs?

Xeno Octavia: no prob i chekd wiki and kira site
    --BELL--
Pema Pera: thanks, glad to hear that!
Pila Mulligan: now the silent moments :)
    Pila Mulligan: hi Arch
    Pema Pera: Hi Arch!
Pila Mulligan: these 90 second pauses occur each 15 minutes Xeno
Pema Pera: I like what you wrote in the "1st Life" part of your profile, Xeno, your stab at LL :-)
    Xeno Octavia: hyi Arch
    Pema Pera: Hi Calvino
Archmage Atlantis: Hello Pila, Pema, Xeno
Xeno Octavia: lol need stabering lol
    Pila Mulligan: hi Cal

Suddenly there are five of us.  I often feel like a bar tender, when hosting a PaB session: you never know who and how many people will drop by when.

Pema Pera: you've been around for a long time, 2006, wow, Xeno!
Archmage Atlantis: Cat trying to get in lap, makes typing diifficult
Pema Pera: do you have any questions or comments about what you read on the PaB and Kira wikis?
    Calvino Rabeni: Hello everyone
Xeno Octavia: yes i long timer sorta : ))
Xeno Octavia: i kinda observering i live on a Lila sim so am interested in Play
    Pema Pera: :)
    Xeno Octavia: Lila Play
    Pila Mulligan: lila = play
Pema Pera: yes, the Sanskrit word for play
Xeno Octavia: yes like pizza pie or locally for my para table mesa
Pema Pera: btw, I like your heavenly T shirt, Arch :)
    Pema Pera: 天 for heaven
Archmage Atlantis: I Sanskrit the oldest written language, or do we know of others that were olde
    Archmage Atlantis: Ty Pema
Pema Pera: Egyptian and Sumerian are probably older
Archmage Atlantis: Yes, it was given to me as a tatoo by one I was close to
    Pila Mulligan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_languages_by_first_written_accounts
Xeno Octavia: recording is --thought not voice
Pila Mulligan: yes, not voice here usually
Pila Mulligan: but for one session Friday
Pema Pera: I like the peacefulness of text over voice
Xeno Octavia: i like it transcriptability : )
    Pema Pera: yes!
Pema Pera: and in addition it allows everybody to talk at once if they want :-)
    Xeno Octavia: YES
Archmage Atlantis: Pema, as an astophysicist, I would think you would distrust the openness of wikipedia.........what do you think of the information contained there?
    Pema Pera: I love wikipedia
Pema Pera: it often gives you a good stab at a new field or idea
Pema Pera: and then it's up to you to dig in deeper somewhere
Pema Pera: and in general I'm all for openness

Xeno chooses a fun moment in the conversation to trip into caplock, but quite appropriate: I very much like texting over voice, at least for PaB sessions.

    Xeno Octavia: MAKES THINGS BETTER
Pema Pera: that's how science got started -- as opposed to having secretive guilds
    Archmage Atlantis: Yes, I agree
Pila Mulligan: plus, there's the Pema page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piet_Hut
Xeno Octavia: sorry was sneeky caplok : )
    Pila Mulligan: :)
    Pema Pera: :)
Archmage Atlantis: Sometimes I feel PaB is a secret guild
    --BELL--
Pila Mulligan needs to slip away -- bye for now
Archmage Atlantis: There are so few new entities that come here.......Yet this is a very open place
Xeno Octavia: is up to who kno to let others kno - tho qualitatively
Pema Pera: I'm afraid I have to leave too . . . to get to my lunch appointment
    Archmage Atlantis: hmmm
Xeno Octavia: welll good to meet u
Pema Pera: nice talking with y'all
    Pema Pera: same here, Xeno
    Pema Pera: bfn
    Calvino Rabeni: Bon Appetit
Archmage Atlantis: You are in Japanm then
Calvino Rabeni: I have to make a similar excuse - about dinner :)
Xeno Octavia: ah lunchtime in Japan
Calvino Rabeni: Take care, Xeno and Archmage
    Archmage Atlantis: bye Cal

The auto-listener transcript stopped here, the reason being that Wol's recording system continues only as long as there is at least one PaB guardian present during a session.
