The Guardian for this meeting was stevenaia Michinaga. The comments are by stevenaia Michinaga.

Geo Solari, Rosecrucian Roeth, Paradise Tennant joined me initially followed by Puntuka Adzior and Rhiannon Dragoone

    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Geo
    --BELL--

I was sitting on the Playgota rafter when Geo Arrived

    stevenaia Michinaga: grab a rafter
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Paradise
stevenaia Michinaga: cloud materialized into You
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Paradise Tennant: hiya stevenaia geo rose :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Rose
    Geo Solari: Hi everybody
    Rosecrucian Roeth: Good Evening Gentlemen.

Rosecrucian asked a difficult question... and one theme for tonight begins....

Rosecrucian Roeth: I know that I have asked this before and have received answers, but why exactly is Aphrodity still where Aphroditiy still where she is?
stevenaia Michinaga: she is still "stuck" with no way to unstuck her
Paradise Tennant: has storm not had a restart of the sim yet ?
    stevenaia Michinaga: no
    Rosecrucian Roeth: Why?
stevenaia Michinaga: it seems to be a flaw in Second Life
stevenaia Michinaga: traps Avatars now and then
    Rosecrucian Roeth: But why?
stevenaia Michinaga: the only way is for the Sim to restart and only the Lindens can do that
Paradise Tennant: easy to do though
stevenaia Michinaga: so she remains...stuck forever
stevenaia Michinaga: what's easy to do?
Paradise Tennant: you just ask for a restart
stevenaia Michinaga: I;m sure they have
Paradise Tennant: they will shut it down and restart it
Rosecrucian Roeth: So has Aphrodity done something which has "disturbed " the lindens?
Paradise Tennant: wrong place wrong time
stevenaia Michinaga: I think it's a random act
    Rosecrucian Roeth: Really?
    Rosecrucian Roeth: Methinks I smell a ??????
stevenaia Michinaga: unless we choose to move closer to conspiracy theories
    stevenaia Michinaga: theories
stevenaia Michinaga: it is unfortunate but much empathy has been generated :)
Rosecrucian Roeth: I do not subscribe to conspiracy theories as they are far too convenient, yet there is still a reason and it must be rational!?
stevenaia Michinaga: is lightning striking rational?
stevenaia Michinaga: this was software lightning, of sorts
stevenaia Michinaga: it just struck Aphodite
Rosecrucian Roeth: Please, Steve, I am not asking for the world just what was done for Aphrodite to be "banned" so to speak. I do not know as I was not here, I am only asking for an explanation, not an excuse.
stevenaia Michinaga: I do not know
    Rosecrucian Roeth: Who does?
stevenaia Michinaga: I know Aphrodite does not
Rosecrucian Roeth: Then this , to me, reeks!!!
stevenaia Michinaga: Bruce was "stuck" recently as well, eventually he was freed somehow
Paradise Tennant: well maybe being stuck would be an appropriate topic for tonight :)
stevenaia Michinaga: it can create frustration
    stevenaia Michinaga: good topic
stevenaia Michinaga: how to overcome being stuck, unanswerable questions
Rosecrucian Roeth: If there is a way for members to be "stuck in limbo"(my Catholic upbringing!), for a reason that no one seems to be aware of, then just where is the this place? and where is it going?'

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: let's take the next 90 seconds to reflect on that
Geo Solari: What does it exactly mean " being stuck"?
Rosecrucian Roeth: Can 90 seconds really be enough to reflect on this?
stevenaia Michinaga: unable to move, Geo
Paradise Tennant: physically emotionally or spiritually
Rosecrucian Roeth: Geo, that is my question and it is not really being answered!
stevenaia Michinaga: sometimes there is no answer, what do you do then?
Paradise Tennant: rephrase the question :)))
stevenaia Michinaga: and no, 90 seconds is just a place to start
Rosecrucian Roeth: Then you have to keep asking, to acknowledge that there is no answer is to forfeit!!
    stevenaia Michinaga: which question, Paradise?
Rosecrucian Roeth: There is always an answer, although it may not necessarily be the one you are looking for.
Paradise Tennant: well when you cannot find an answer sometimes it is because the wrong question is being asked
stevenaia Michinaga: is no answer a forfeit, or acceptance?
Paradise Tennant: acceptance of things that we do not know or cannot know
Paradise Tennant: or at the very least will not know for a while yet :)
stevenaia Michinaga: acceptance of a Mystery
Paradise Tennant: kind of like mystery
stevenaia Michinaga: we can;t know everything
Paradise Tennant: do not want to know it all
    stevenaia Michinaga: today
stevenaia Michinaga: but maybe, someday... and I think Rosecrucian, you may know sooner as you ask more questions
stevenaia Michinaga: both may have a place

stevenaia Michinaga: puts laptop on my cold legs, warms we right up (in RL)

Rosecrucian Roeth: I ask questions because, as I have said here before, I am older and I do not accept things as they are said, because I now know that many things are said without thinking, and that is not necessarily a good thing.
Rosecrucian Roeth: Not necessarily a bad thing either, but most times it is very good to think before speaking!
Rosecrucian Roeth: Stevie you are quiet.
    stevenaia Michinaga: thinking...smiles
Rosecrucian Roeth: Yeh, know that very well !
stevenaia Michinaga: Afraid to ask your age... thinking... what if I am older
Rosecrucian Roeth: I was born in 1949. Did not know the WWI era, but am VERY familiar with it.
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
    --BELL--
Rosecrucian Roeth: Sorry, should have been WWII, am not THAT old to be WWI.
Rosecrucian Roeth: I do do my best to acknowledge the ages that have come since I was born.
Rosecrucian Roeth: And by that I mean I try to understand them, and I think maybe I do in the fact that they have grown up in different circumstance than I did.
stevenaia Michinaga: I think that diversity of opinion creates a wonderful garden of thoughts to walk though and learn from
Paradise Tennant: likes that phrase diversity of opinion creates a wonderful garden of thoughts to walk through and learn from :)
    Paradise Tennant: nice one!
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
Rosecrucian Roeth: Got that! I do believe that the major problem with the generation gaps is that neither one wants to really understand the others view of life.
Rosecrucian Roeth: If they did, then there would be no problem in walking through the garden of thoughts, eh?
stevenaia Michinaga: just listening to what you are saying gives me an appreciation for where you are coming from, a different place than perhaps I am

Rhiannon Dragoone and Puntuka Adzior arrive

    stevenaia Michinaga: Hi Rhi
    Rosecrucian Roeth: HELLOO rHIANNON
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi steve
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi Rose!
    Paradise Tennant: hiya rhia :)
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hiya, Paradise
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi Punt!
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Punta
Geo Solari: Rosec, confrontations are necessary in life. Generation gap is necessary, in a sense
    Puntuka Adzior: namaste everyone
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi Geo
    Geo Solari: Hi Rhia!
Rosecrucian Roeth: Hey sometimes I do have my moments and they are actually lucid! Hey. Punt/.
Rhiannon Dragoone: You all haven't rezzed for me yet; please give me some time before I sit down
stevenaia Michinaga: Both could offer different perspectives on the same issues
    Puntuka Adzior: Rosicrucian huh?
stevenaia Michinaga: that is something I value
Rosecrucian Roeth: Yes, Geo, I know confrontation is a necessary evil, maybe, Punt?

The topic of "evil" seems to have been let loose by this comment

Rhiannon Dragoone: We are talking about appreciating each other's perspectives?
stevenaia Michinaga: Why do you view it as evil?
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes Rhi
Rosecrucian Roeth: I do have my moments, but you must forgive me, I am, after all, 61, and subject to hallucinations, or maybe just common sense!?
stevenaia Michinaga: one persons confrontation is another's opportunity for compromise
Rhiannon Dragoone: That's the hardest thing to do but the most important, I think
stevenaia Michinaga: w/o your perspective Rose, I could not be enlightened by you

Rosecrucian Roeth: Rhi not as an evil per se, but as sometimes a necessary evil depending upon the circumstance. (reads :Wikileaks)
Geo Solari: Rosec, there is a big bang behind all of us. We can not avoid it...
Rhiannon Dragoone: Well, do we meet listening to his point of view, or do we mean putting ourselves in his place
Rhiannon Dragoone: Why would it be evil at all, Rose?
stevenaia Michinaga: one persons evil is another opportunity, is what I am saying
Puntuka Adzior: only to know of it's existence and the reality that evil cannot afford life
Rhiannon Dragoone: Could someone give me an example of evil here? Are we just talking 'one man's meat is another man's poison?' or what?
stevenaia Michinaga: in this case yes
    --BELL--
    stevenaia Michinaga: not BIG evil
Rosecrucian Roeth: Because sometimes the most honorable intentions are the most despicable because they have been taken over by those who would use them for their own satisfaction and not care for the consequences for others.
stevenaia Michinaga: I was beginning here with this discussion " Rosecrucian Roeth: Yes, Geo, I know confrontation is a necessary evil, maybe, Punt?"
Puntuka Adzior: oh you are definitely a true cristian
Rhiannon Dragoone: A good well is one that is done regardless of consequences, so I'm not following how it can be taken over
stevenaia Michinaga: is that overt evil, or evil by omission of sorts
    stevenaia Michinaga: (ie, BIG evil)
Rhiannon Dragoone: Wouldn't we better off talking specifics? Like indifference to another's pain? Or even more specific than that?
Puntuka Adzior: well a woman could sleep with many men for free and be a casual dater if a woman sleeps with men to please only her self she is a nympho and that is evil to me
Rosecrucian Roeth: I was raised as a
Rosecrucian Roeth: I was rasised as a
Puntuka Adzior: this is a truth
Rhiannon Dragoone: So a woman can't want sexual satisfaction from her partners? Sounds sexist to me, Punt
Puntuka Adzior: this can be repeated infinite
stevenaia Michinaga: sounds like a simple judgement Punt
Puntuka Adzior: when people interact sexually love is not one sided
stevenaia Michinaga: not sure specific will get us any closer to resolution Rhi, will just get us wrapped up in the details of the specifics
stevenaia Michinaga: lost Internet for a moment, am I still here?
Rosecrucian Roeth: Sorry, folks I was raised Sorry folks, got side tracked there for a bit. Not sure where you are coming from Puntuka. Want to enlarge that, so top speak?

At that point Rhiannon Dragoone froze and crashed and eventually returned when we were abut to leave, although I was not sure how to interpret what Puntuka Adzior said, but Rhi latter suggested to me that it may have been "just a hypothetical".

Paradise Tennant: smiles .. sleepy ..here going to quietly creep out :) thank you as always for the company and the conversation :))
    Rosecrucian Roeth: Nite paradise.
    stevenaia Michinaga: night paradise
stevenaia Michinaga: thanks for joining us
    Geo Solari: Good night P
Paradise Tennant: good nite all :) namaste my friends :))
    stevenaia Michinaga: WB Rhi
Geo Solari: I agree with Rhia, after specifics we move to generalities
Rosecrucian Roeth: Gotta go. it is late and have an early day tomorrow.
stevenaia Michinaga: night Rose, see you soon
    Rhiannon Dragoone: nite Rose
    Rosecrucian Roeth: No doubt.
    Puntuka Adzior: namaste rose
    Geo Solari: Night Rosec
    --BELL--
Rhiannon Dragoone: I'm going to stay back here, so as not to offend anyone; i appear to not be able to sit~again
stevenaia Michinaga: we hear you Rhi
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Right, Geo
Rhiannon Dragoone: And also, if we deal with specifics, we might find it easier to have empathy--which comes from putting yourself in the other's shoes
Puntuka Adzior: so I've had an eventful day i met a guru online he is very just being
stevenaia Michinaga: I think am about at the end of my evening, Night all
    Rhiannon Dragoone: oh, nite, steve
stevenaia Michinaga: feel free to stick around
Rhiannon Dragoone: Gee, i feel like i just arrived; rl interfered with coming sooner
    Geo Solari: Good night Steve!
    stevenaia Michinaga: night Geo
    Rhiannon Dragoone: nite Steve
