    Catrinamonblue Resident: Morning Eliza :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Morning Catrina :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: How are things?
    Eliza Madrigal: Waking nicely, thanks
    Eliza Madrigal: and for you?
Catrinamonblue Resident: quiet morning at work :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: It was nice to wake this morning to see comments already on the "15 days" retreat page... nice to start the day with stopping
    Catrinamonblue Resident: nods
Catrinamonblue Resident: I haven't done it yet but plan too a bit later :)
Eliza Madrigal: You've been participating in 99 Days though... have any reflections about noting gratitude each day?
Catrinamonblue Resident: somedays it's hard not to sound like a broken record being grateful fo rthe same thing over and over
Catrinamonblue Resident: and yet really I am grateful every single day for those people and emotions and things in my life
Eliza Madrigal: birds sound like broken records when we don't listen closely
    Catrinamonblue Resident: nods :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Xiri :))
    Catrinamonblue Resident: Hi Xiri :)
Xirana Oximoxi: hello Eliza, cAT :-)

Eliza Madrigal: enjoying the colorfulness of this AoB exhibit
Catrinamonblue Resident: I haven't been over this morning but all the ones up yesterday looked fantastic :)
Xirana Oximoxi: :) I must go to see if there are new works:)
Eliza Madrigal: not too many yet... and the special session is this Sunday
Eliza Madrigal: the ones displayed are really fun though
Xirana Oximoxi: all very nice as always...we are such an amazing group of artists pabbers:))

    --BELL--

Catrinamonblue Resident: I'm afraid I'm not very talkative this morn, feeling more content t just sit and listen to the birds and be contemplative
Xirana Oximoxi: I'm not very talkatice either... :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) I could be talkative or not depending on others' inclinations
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: yes...I suppose sometimes if others are discussing passionatley around one gets engaged too
Eliza Madrigal nods.... have been watching this for a few years.. the way I determine to be quiet and come to session and chatter...
Eliza Madrigal: or, the way I intend to share something and then it has no place so I let it go by...
    Catrinamonblue Resident: smiles
    Xirana Oximoxi: spontaneity:)
Xirana Oximoxi: we let things happen
    Eliza Madrigal: yes :)
Eliza Madrigal: there are balances though, I think... somewhere between letting things happen and waiting for things to happen
Eliza Madrigal: letting is a bit more lively :)
Xirana Oximoxi: yes..in the middle od letting and waiting..there may be...proviking things to happen too:)
Catrinamonblue Resident: allowing things to move in the direction they need to :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: provoking
    Catrinamonblue Resident: poking :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes! active listening... and hah poking if it seems too still...no breath
Eliza Madrigal: quiet with breath is perfectly satisfactory :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: poking....new word for me :)
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)

Xirana Oximoxi: it amazing how difficult is to learn a language....I do read everyday in English now, and 'talk or chat'...and still so much words I don't know :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Eliza Madrigal: it is interesting which words come later... like "poke" seems so simple until now when I realize that outside of FB it isn't really an oft used word
    Eliza Madrigal: poking and prodding
Xirana Oximoxi: prodding :)) another one new:)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Eliza Madrigal: I do recognize the difficulty and marvel at you Xiri... learning languages
    Catrinamonblue Resident: nods :)
Xirana Oximoxi: well..it's fun for me :) I enjoy learning languages:)
    --BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: takes a certain kind of adventurousness and fearlessness not to mess up "in public"
Xirana Oximoxi: it's important to practice and to forget about fear to use and to make mistakes:)...it's an important rule to improve :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: yes :) to not be afraid is the key I think :)
Eliza Madrigal: I can relate it to my experience with yoga I guess... I am, without exaggeration at all, the *worst* in the class
Eliza Madrigal: but I keep coming back
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I'm sure you are not :))
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I really am... haha.... but I finally reached the point that it is worth it to me
Xirana Oximoxi: and anyway...if you did not come back, it would be more difficult for you to improve:)
    Eliza Madrigal: true
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: is it the course where you find again a teacher you did not like?
Eliza Madrigal: I'm more balanced than others somehow, yet everything else well... meh
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: yes it is!
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: then you have double merit:)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: nods
Eliza Madrigal: It isn't that I didn't like her... she is elegant and her voice is amazing... strong, and she yells out "YESS! PEERRRFECT!"
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Eliza Madrigal: but she pushes me a lot and I shake and fall
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: double merit ^.^
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Eliza Madrigal: see... THAT thinking is adventrousness
    Xirana Oximoxi: that's true:)
    Xirana Oximoxi: (the double merit)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: brb
Eliza Madrigal: what is your primary motivator Xiri?
Xirana Oximoxi: you mean to do things?
Eliza Madrigal: yes, with languages especially
Xirana Oximoxi: well...with languages SL has been the most motivating 'thing' I could find:)
Xirana Oximoxi: here you really can 'speak' with people in their languages
    Eliza Madrigal: ah, so access
Eliza Madrigal: a kind of freedom or range?
Xirana Oximoxi: I think since a child I've heard my mother telling me how important it was to learn languages...and she put me to learn French...and later English
Xirana Oximoxi: I did 'interchange' with a french family...and English...well..this was like beginning a lot of times and then stopping and again begin...etc.
    Catrinamonblue Resident: back :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: welcome back, Cat:)
Eliza Madrigal: oh that's really interesting.... the connection goes down deeply ... the motivation
    Eliza Madrigal: wb Cat :)
Xirana Oximoxi: yes... I suppose it had a big influss on me:)
Xirana Oximoxi: and my mother don't speak other languages:)) maybe she would have liked to learn, but she had no opportunitites
Eliza Madrigal: I was just going to ask how many languages your mother spoke, to have such a strong appreciation!
Xirana Oximoxi: well..she speak Catalan and Spanish...but not a word of other languages
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes parents have the seed of something though it never comes to fruition in their own time
    Eliza Madrigal: ah, I see

    --BELL--

Xirana Oximoxi: I suppose parents have a big influence...even if not always...
Eliza Madrigal: she must be pleased
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Eliza Madrigal: my great grandmother lit a little spark in me, regarding spiritual studies - she may not have liked the directions it went in now, but I'm deeply grateful - that is prob still a primary motivator for me
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Eliza Madrigal: even with the yoga, I only go because there is some intuition concerning integration that can't happen otherwise
Xirana Oximoxi: 'integration' in what sense?
Eliza Madrigal: well I tend to be "in my head"
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: me too :)
Eliza Madrigal: this forces the whole body to get in the game
Eliza Madrigal: the whole world I'm in
    Eliza Madrigal: seemingly
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Catrinamonblue Resident: nods, is something I need to look at too for myself
Eliza Madrigal: it is helpful... I don't 'enjoy" it yet though
Eliza Madrigal: :) for another person, they may escape by being very physically active, unique to each of us
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I've never learnt yoga....but as far as I know it's a good practice in a lot of senses...for the mind and for the whole body as you say
Eliza Madrigal: its a language :)
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes I think I'm just there as a clown to help others not to feel bad about their own practice, lollol
Xirana Oximoxi: I must go now:) thanks you for the nice chat :)) I've been quite talkative at the end :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: thanks Xiri
    Catrinamonblue Resident: smiles
Catrinamonblue Resident: have a great day Xiri :)
Xirana Oximoxi: have a nice day:) and see you soon:)
Eliza Madrigal: see you soon... have to go too... buying boxes :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: :)
    Catrinamonblue Resident: bye Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: thanks Cat... hope your day continues to be peaceful
    Catrinamonblue Resident: ty :)
