Korel Laloix: How about you?
Korel Laloix: A good Rl day, but crashy SL day.
Paradise Tennant: an easy rl day .. long weekend this weekend :)) did not do very much at all :)
Korel Laloix: Last week was my spring break so had to work Mon-Wed.. but had a nice lovely long weekend.
Paradise Tennant: lovely to have a break stretch breathe and do nothing :)))
Korel Laloix: Well, we did not do nothing.
Korel Laloix: Lots of time horseback riding, hiking, etc.
Paradise Tennant: smiles and listens what did you do ?
Paradise Tennant: cool !!!
Korel Laloix: Went out to my gf's parents place and spent time with them.
Paradise Tennant: love horse back riding :)) been ages since I have gone ..
Paradise Tennant: nice
Korel Laloix: But then we rode horses out to their cabin on the back part of their ranch and stayed there a couple of night.
Paradise Tennant: good to just spend time with folks you care about
Paradise Tennant: wow
Korel Laloix: Reeba does Rodeo and intends to take on the ranch from her parents some day.
Paradise Tennant: that sounds fantastic
Paradise Tennant: smiles that must be a whole different world the rodeo world and dangerous too
Korel Laloix: It really was... almost cliche'... but a great time.
Paradise Tennant: smiles
Korel Laloix: Not sure barrel racing is dangerous like bull riding.
Korel Laloix: But they are powerful critters... horses are.
Paradise Tennant: and with their own personalities
Paradise Tennant: remember one big draught horse who laughed and laughed and laughed at me
Paradise Tennant: I was wearing a straw hat ..
Paradise Tennant: he thought me with straw on my head was hysterical
Korel Laloix: Proably wanted to eat it.
Korel Laloix smiles
Paradise Tennant: he was just non stop giggliong
Paradise Tennant: everytime he looked at me he would start up again
Paradise Tennant: eventually I think his sides got sore
Korel Laloix: Maybe you are that tasty looking..smiles
Paradise Tennant: they have their own sense of humor :))
Paradise Tennant: he did eventually try to take the hat off my head :))
Korel Laloix: Maybe he was the horsey fashion police... smiles
Paradise Tennant: maybe as a kind gesture to restore my dignity in horsey eyes
Korel Laloix: Exactly.
Paradise Tennant: yes indeed
Paradise Tennant: smiles
Korel Laloix: It was fun getting all cow-girled up to ride off into the sunrise... was a really magical weekend in some ways.
Paradise Tennant: yes being free out in nature ...
Korel Laloix: Well. it was cold.. so not that free... smiles
Paradise Tennant: fireplace ?
Korel Laloix: But the horses do keep you surprisingly warm.
Paradise Tennant: yes they do :)
Korel Laloix: Wood burning stove and lots of blankets.
Paradise Tennant: hmm so the smell of wood smoke and horse kind of a nice combo
Korel Laloix: Well, not at the same time.
Korel Laloix: But yes.. both are homey scents.
Korel Laloix: We’ll remember that weekend for a long long time.
Paradise Tennant: yes nice to be spending your time in a way that has real meaning and you will remember
Paradise Tennant: hate how so much of life is blur sometimes .. one day to the next lost to a busy drone
Korel Laloix: I think that is why I feel so tired of school
Korel Laloix: It is all feeling like the same day over and over again.
Paradise Tennant: are you studying things you like
Paradise Tennant: the most important function of school is just to learn how to learn
Paradise Tennant: a skill you keep forever

Korel Laloix: I really enjoy my field of study....and really see how I should be able to make a difference long term with it... I jsut want to get on with life now.
Paradise Tennant: how much longer to you have to go ?
Korel Laloix: I should graduate in December.. if my summer classes don't get cancelled.
Paradise Tennant: oh that is not so bad just 9 more months .. think of it like a baby ..
Paradise Tennant: not so long
Korel Laloix: Oh... ouch.. no.. wrong metaphor at the moment... lol
Paradise Tennant: you will blink and you will be telling me about how you celebrated your graduation :))
Korel Laloix: My collapsing is probably the answer already.... smiles
Paradise Tennant: well there are lots of ways to give birth ..you will be creating a new career to go out into the world :)
Korel Laloix: Reeba is graduating the same time, so will be interesting to see how we work things pit ... tough decisions coming up.
Paradise Tennant: yes have to find jobs that allow you to live how you please
Paradise Tennant: wonders if there could be satellite reception in that cabin what a great place to work form

Paradise Tennant: we were just chatting about the challenges of school .. sometimes making it to the finish line can be tough
Korel Laloix: Been a good day thanks.
Hana Furlough: oh yes, that is for sure
Korel Laloix: Just getting more and more tired of it.
Korel Laloix: And getting less externally motivated as well.
Hana Furlough: how much longer do you have, korel?
Korel Laloix: So hard to keep the energy up sometimes.
Korel Laloix: December.
Korel Laloix: If things go right.
Hana Furlough: that's good, then end is in sight
Hana Furlough: but it probably feels far away
Korel Laloix: Very very very far away... frowns
Hana Furlough: aww i'm sorry
Paradise Tennant: won't be so long :)) ... need to break it up in bits and do big rewards :)) for each bit
Paradise Tennant: each month through a treat
Paradise Tennant: smiles does not have to be money thing just something that will make you feel good
Hana Furlough: also, do you think there's any way you could make it more pleasant?
Korel Laloix: Reeba and grandma do a good job of spoiling me for sure.
Hana Furlough: like studying in places that you like
Korel Laloix: That is not the hard part.
Hana Furlough: not being so hard on yourself
Korel Laloix: Just the weight of the remainder of the program is hard to carry.
Hana Furlough: too many requirements?
Korel Laloix: Yes.. but I am the one that chose my programs.... so I have no one to blame but me.
Hana Furlough: nah, you can't look at it like that
Hana Furlough: whether or not you chose it, it's still hard
Hana Furlough: i think it's great that you're challenging yourself
Korel Laloix: That is true.. but it will line things up for me well in terms of finding a job... I hope.

Paradise Tennant: my dad would make you a coke float :)) and tell you story :)) by the end of it . you'd feel better and would let go a big sigh of relief feeling like really only the next step mattered easier thinking of just one week at a time :)
