The Guardian for this meeting was Bruce Mowbray. The comments are by Bruce Mowbray.

    Bruce Mowbray: Good day, Eos.
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi Bruce
Eos Amaterasu: Are u playing with I-dentity?
Eos Amaterasu: (Bruce is looking like a long-haired kid)
Bruce Mowbray: Oh yes. This is Bruce when he was 7 years old. . . not a happy kid.

    PaB_Dec4.jpg

    Eos Amaterasu: Really....
    Bruce Mowbray: Actually, I'm not sure whether's he's seven or maybe between 7 and 12. . .
Eos Amaterasu: were you practicing tm at the time?
Eos Amaterasu: (floating in the air :-)
Bruce Mowbray: Nope, just started floating for some unknown reason (or no reason at all). . .
Eos Amaterasu: Maybe I should do an exploration of the implications of my name
Eos Amaterasu: Eos: Greek goddess of dawn
Eos Amaterasu: Amaterasu: Japanese dawn goddess
Eos Amaterasu: What is your first memory, Bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: My very first memory in life was the birth of 9 English Setter puppies under the kitchen table in the farm house where we lived when I was almost 3 years old.
    Eos Amaterasu: wow, pretty vivid!
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, very vivid memory -- and one of these dogs (named "Count") lived until I was 16 - a junior in high school.
Bruce Mowbray: How about you? Your first memory?
Eos Amaterasu: My first memory is of myself on a bridge over a stream, my older brother on a bicycle (maybe tricycle?), in Belgium
Eos Amaterasu: close to age 4
Bruce Mowbray: Your older brother on a bike -- How much older, Eos?
Eos Amaterasu: about 1 1/2 years older
Bruce Mowbray: That's the same as the difference between me and my older brother. . about 18 months.
Eos Amaterasu: Now, those memories are probably memories of memories?

    --BELL–

Bruce Mowbray: Perhaps -- Maybe every time we bring them back to consciousness, we alter them slightly. . .
Eos Amaterasu: It's like Jimi Hendrix is the Jimi Hendrix experience; we are the experience of ourselves
Eos Amaterasu: Did you go blonde at a certain age?
Bruce Mowbray: maybe (sort of) fractalizing ourselves through continual self-reference.
Eos Amaterasu: yeah, we munch on and taste ourselves
Bruce Mowbray: I was born with white hair -- then it was blonde until puberty - then it gradually got darker. .
Bruce Mowbray: It still turns blonde if I'm in the sun a lot.
Eos Amaterasu: I was born with very dark hair, and oriental looking, supposedly
Bruce Mowbray: ouy still appear to have an Asian face.
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
Bruce Mowbray: You* sorry, my typing is not awake yet.
    Eos Amaterasu: transposed
Bruce Mowbray wonders if he might be a tiny and not know it. . . will try tiny pillow. . .
Bruce Mowbray decides he's not a tiny. . . and returns to grown-up cushion.

Eos Amaterasu: My son just had a LAN party here - about 10 friends showed up, wired up their computers, played lots of games
Bruce Mowbray: Oh wow! That sounds like great fun. Did they let you in on it?
Eos Amaterasu: it was unavoidable :-)
Eos Amaterasu: One was playing old Atari games on a small CRT monitor
    Bruce Mowbray: amazing.
Eos Amaterasu: no Pong or Asteroids, though (:-
    Bruce Mowbray: Tetris?
Eos Amaterasu: didn't see that either
Fox Monacular: Hello Eos and Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: Do any of those kids engage in Second Life?
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Fox.
Eos Amaterasu: Hi Fox, long time no see
    Fox Monacular: i know...
Fox Monacular: i miss pab, but haven't had time to come :(
Eos Amaterasu: I don't know that any of them are in SL
Bruce Mowbray: You're in Halifax, right, Eos?
Eos Amaterasu: Yes, where the weather is dreary rain at the moment
Bruce Mowbray: well, we're sending you some snow for the weekend.
Fox Monacular: where are you, Bruce?
    Bruce Mowbray: Ohio.
Bruce Mowbray: Snowing here right now.
    Bruce Mowbray: and you?
Fox Monacular: Montreal at the moment
Fox Monacular: also a little bit of snow
Eos Amaterasu: I was in Montreal briefly one week ago - caught some freezing rain
Bruce Mowbray: Europe is hard-hit --- Dozens of homeless in northern Europe - dying -- esp in Poland.

    --BELL–

Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Self. Welcome back.
    Self Wonder: hello
Eos Amaterasu: Hi Self (I mean you, not me :-)
    Self Wonder: hi
    Eos Amaterasu: HI Yaku
Fox Monacular: Hi Self and Yaku!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Self Wonder: hello Yakuzza
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Yaku.
Bruce Mowbray: Eos and I have been talking about our early-life memories. . .
Eos Amaterasu: our very first memory
    Bruce Mowbray: yes.
Yakuzza Lethecus: oh, the first memory that actually comes to mind when i climbed out of my  "laufstall" as a very small child
Fox Monacular: i'm not sure if my first memory is of the hospital or a new year tree:)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: playpen ?
    Fox Monacular: crib?
    Eos Amaterasu: google says 'playpen'
Eos Amaterasu: same as crib, I think
    Fox Monacular: :) google knows
Eos Amaterasu: at what age, Yak & Fox?
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, i didn´t make a notice in my ipod back then :P
Fox Monacular: hospital must have been around 1
Yakuzza Lethecus: i have no clue
Fox Monacular: new year - who knows
Self Wonder: do we have a concept of age that young?
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, we still have the natural feeling of timeless time
    Fox Monacular: :)
Self Wonder: really? such a concept for a baby to have!
Eos Amaterasu: I think we have a concept of "littleness" pretty early on
Eos Amaterasu: and of "growing up ness", to be like mommy or daddy or older sibling
Fox Monacular: yes, some of the first words of my daughter 'big' and 'small"
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, we might have had the practical concepts already.  we have to lose it in order to know the contrast for a reevaluations which experiences we might like and are eager to regain ?
Fox Monacular: I tell her (at 2years old) that she's 'big' already, and she answers - no, mama 'big'
Eos Amaterasu: i remember the great disappointment I felt when I first heard my youngest sister (12 years younger than me) first use the word "I" to refer to herself....
    Self Wonder: disappointment?
Eos Amaterasu: up to that point it was always her name (referring to herself in third person)
Eos Amaterasu: I felt the gates of Eden closing
Fox Monacular: there's more than one 'I' in the family:)
Eos Amaterasu: we always referred to her by name, so maybe it was natural for her to do so as well
    Self Wonder: gates of Eden?
Eos Amaterasu: end of a kind of innocence
Eos Amaterasu: maybe that's naively romantic
Self Wonder: wasn't aware that the concept of "I" could signal the end of innocence
Eos Amaterasu: Exploring identity, Art of Being Self, is a theme for this month
Self Wonder: could you say more?
Self Wonder: about project or about me?
Eos Amaterasu: I think "I" tends to substantialize an inner entity that truly exists
Bruce Mowbray smiles -- "about me" - - - something we all could say ;-)
Eos Amaterasu: as in "I'm not like that!"
Fox Monacular: or this is 'mine'
Self Wonder: do we own ourselves?
Fox Monacular: or do we belong to our families?
Eos Amaterasu: Perhaps identity is not so much what we "have been" (which more or less tends to equal "what we are") as our potential to be ....
Bruce Mowbray: or do we belong to the culture -- or the state?
Self Wonder: what does it mean to say an "inner entity" truly exists? can we say that?
Eos Amaterasu: we find ourselves having been born - maybe we belong to something vast behind us as well as in front
Self Wonder: is ‘self' a thing or a process?
Eos Amaterasu: " 'I' am hurt", for example
Eos Amaterasu: Ah.... "I seem to be a verb" - Buckminster Fuller
Fox Monacular: or is self a state...
Eos Amaterasu: Plus Aquinas used the term "esse", "to be", for "existence"

    --BELL–

Self Wonder: a state in constant flux?
    Fox Monacular: selfish-selfless-selfful
    Alfred Kelberry: hello :)
    Self Wonder: hello boxy
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey alf
    Fox Monacular: Hi Alfred
Alfred Kelberry: oh, Bruce... you look different :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Alfred!
Self Wonder: are we to be silent when bells ring?
    Eos Amaterasu: (yes)
    Bruce Mowbray: May I introduce you to Mini-Bruce. . . ?
Alfred Kelberry: nice to meet you :)
Bruce Mowbray: yes, let's respect the bell (starting with ME - mini-Bruce.)
Self Wonder: sorry, only my second time here
Alfred Kelberry: you can take a tiny seat if you want :)
    Alfred Kelberry: welcome, self
Self Wonder: trying to get the scope of the group
Bruce Mowbray: np, Self. From time to time we all get carried away with the dialogue and tend to ignore the bell. . .
Fox Monacular: nice to meet you, self
    Self Wonder: likewise
Eos Amaterasu: there's lots of little flickerings of awareness that we weave into a continuity of self
Self Wonder: what gives us continuity of self?
Eos Amaterasu: in the 9, or 90, or longer periods of restful awareness we can let the flickerings flicker
Eos Amaterasu: fear of gap leading us to cling to ledges
    Alfred Kelberry: flickerings?
Fox Monacular: nature is afraid of the void
Alfred Kelberry: is it from time workshop?
Eos Amaterasu: No, I don't attend the time workshop (:-
Self Wonder: thank you all, must be off for my jog
Eos Amaterasu: One interesting exercise may be to experience how continuously we can experience anything
Bruce Mowbray: OK.   Do join us again, Self.
    Eos Amaterasu: Bye Self
Bruce Mowbray: Have a happy safe jog.
    Alfred Kelberry: what's flickering?
    Eos Amaterasu: attention flickers
Alfred Kelberry: ah, like changing thoughts
Bruce Mowbray: like a tiny flame that jumps around weakly. . . flashes intermittently.
Eos Amaterasu: How many different attendings do we have in 9 seconds, for example?
Bruce Mowbray stands to compare height with Al.

    PaB_Dec4-2.jpg

Eos Amaterasu: Alf is shorter (but he's wearing a tie :-)
Alfred Kelberry: um, a scarf :)
    Eos Amaterasu: wups!
Eos Amaterasu: I thought you were doing a Dilbert :-)
Bruce Mowbray: I find it interesting - being about the same height as Al. . .
Bruce Mowbray: I like it, actually!
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Bruce Mowbray: As part of the Art of Being Self project, I am exploring my earlier years (about 7-9 years of age). . . as Bruce might have experienced them.
Alfred Kelberry: I guess I'm exploring my geek self then :)
Eos Amaterasu: Is the 7-9 yr old Bruce comfortable being here?
Eos Amaterasu: Were you a young Geek, Alf?
    Alfred Kelberry: um... no
Fox Monacular: i remember I used to keep diaries, since school age, but when I was expecting my daughter, we were about to move to a bigger apartment, and so I was going through my stuff... strangely I felt the need to throw away all my old diaries.. I didn't particularly like that 'self' anymore
    Eos Amaterasu: ack!
Alfred Kelberry: do you regret it now, fox?
Bruce Mowbray's primary has felt that "throw-out-those-journals!" impulse - - but never threw them out. Now they take up bookshelves.
    Fox Monacular: not really, no
Eos Amaterasu: Actually our whole civilization and culture is based on memories being embodied in ways that can be preserved and carried on and acted on
Bruce Mowbray: Agrees with Eos – beautifully expressed, sir.
Eos Amaterasu: Must have been amazing to first use audio sounds/words to transmit someone else's thoughts to yet someone else
Fox Monacular: yes, and I felt that with this new state of impeding motherhood, I was no longer willing to be attached to that teenager who was constantly opposed to her parents

    --BELL–

    Eos Amaterasu: heh heh
    Fox Monacular: :)
Alfred Kelberry: maybe it's better to let your memory being re-constructed each time you think of it without the aid of diaries
Fox Monacular: that's exactly how I felt, Alf
Eos Amaterasu: Might be interesting to later compare memories: whether you remember your daughter's first memory
Bruce Mowbray: I tried to read all through my Journals once (a few years ago), and found it excruciatingly painful -- and I wondered how the RL ‘me' could get survive all of that stuff. . . because I am SURE that my present-day primary could not do that again.
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Al -- That's what Eos and I were saying before you arrived here today. . .
Bruce Mowbray: . . . that we re-constructing our memories each time we remember them.
Fox Monacular: and every time they're slightly different
    Bruce Mowbray: yes.
Bruce Mowbray: re-inventing our own histories, as it were.
Eos Amaterasu: like a computer memory that needs constant refreshing
Fox Monacular: 'it's never too late to have a happy childhood'
Alfred Kelberry: yes, Bruce. I read about it.
Fox Monacular: I heard Alan Wallace say that
    Fox Monacular: :)
    Eos Amaterasu: happy dotage
Alfred Kelberry: each time it's new... which I found corresponds well with Buddhist philosophy :)
Bruce Mowbray recalls the Bob Dylan song: "Oh, but I was so much older then - I'm younger than that now!"
    Fox Monacular: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Well, in theory at least, our "dropping" every 15 minutes is a way of clearing out memories that we're stuck in.
Eos Amaterasu: sorry, rl calls, must go: bye all, and thanks!
Eos Amaterasu: (I will remember this :-)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care eos
    Fox Monacular: take care, eos
Bruce Mowbray: THANKS, Eos. Be happy and safe.
Fox Monacular: I must go as well, thanks Alfred, Bruce and Yakuzza
    Bruce Mowbray: Thank you, Fox.
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye fox
Bruce Mowbray: Has anyone seen anything of Aggers yet?
Yakuzza Lethecus: only that one mail in the mailing list
Yakuzza Lethecus: no response ever since
Alfred Kelberry: sorry if I missed something, I'm in a lot of conversations right now, including rl :)
    Bruce Mowbray: np, Al.
Bruce Mowbray: She was in hospital for two weeks. . .
    Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, i know
Yakuzza Lethecus: i saw that, but that was everything
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I surely hope she didn't have a relapse and have to go back into the hospital.
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, it was pretty scary what she told
Bruce Mowbray: I've been very fortunate with health issues - - have never been hospitalized in 68 years. . . although had to go to the emergency room a couple of times.
Yakuzza Lethecus: Do you have a health insurance ?
Bruce Mowbray: Oh yes -- I've always had health insurance, Yaku. . . even when I had to buy it myself.
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, observerm -- Good to see you again.
Yakuzza Lethecus: one of the big subjects that swapped over the Atlantic last year
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello observerm
    Bruce Mowbray: Hello again, Puntuka!
Yakuzza Lethecus: the last news about the usa was the increase in the unemployment rate
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello puntuka
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, it's bad news, indeed.

    --BELL–

Puntuka Adzior: well I've been having an eventful day.   I don't get out much
Bruce Mowbray: Great -- What happening with you, Punt?
Puntuka Adzior: I am not myself
Puntuka Adzior: I'm the other self
    Bruce Mowbray: Mmmm. . . . I have a similar feeling. . . I just lost 61 years off my life.
Puntuka Adzior: like I said I don't get out much
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: Jekyll and Hyde ?
    Puntuka Adzior: pretty much
    Puntuka Adzior: paradox of situation
    Puntuka Adzior: mental defense
Bruce Mowbray ponders switching identities as "mental defense...."
Puntuka Adzior: when I am gone,  he won't remember me or this -- sry
Puntuka Adzior: but he likes mostly
    Puntuka Adzior: everything
    Puntuka Adzior: whata putz
Bruce Mowbray wonders who the "he" is that Punt's referring to...
    Puntuka Adzior: myself
Puntuka Adzior: am I always that cryptic
    Bruce Mowbray: Mmmm . . .
Puntuka Adzior: well, at current JP is mind-pounded and he has failed miserably
Bruce Mowbray: As part of a RL exploration many years ago, I discovered 12 different "selves" that were distinctly different from each other . . . each having a different function in helping "me" get along in life..
Bruce Mowbray listens intently to Punt.
Puntuka Adzior: but I've never been able to communicate with myself
Puntuka Adzior: until your forum thing
Puntuka Adzior: I don't have much time
Puntuka Adzior: i will shut down soon, too
Bruce Mowbray: OK. Well, I hope you know you're always welcome here, Punt... and that we're very open to all possible explorations. . .
    Puntuka Adzior: ok whatever
Bruce Mowbray: It's been quite an adventure, for me, anyway.
Puntuka Adzior: what do u do
Bruce Mowbray: This morning, for example, I dropped 61 years and went back to being seven years of age  -- probably the very WORST year of my life.
Bruce Mowbray: am now reliving some of how that felt. . .
    Puntuka Adzior: why?
Puntuka Adzior: going back that far has consequences
Bruce Mowbray: You best believe that it does! --- but I'd rather re-write some of it now than stay stuck in the memories...
Puntuka Adzior: the memories make it real - reliving them will cause you to be rooted in life
Puntuka Adzior: in this life in particular
Puntuka Adzior: going back like that will eventually cause what I have
Bruce Mowbray: Perhaps. . . but revisiting the memories helps me realize that it really was NOT about me -- It was about the very disturbed people around me. . . and my survival instincts.
Bruce Mowbray: So, as I view with compassion that small child,  there is some healing for me in that.
Puntuka Adzior: wow I am not meant for more than this world but through this soul I will find retribution
Puntuka Adzior: and the experiences will guide me home
Alfred Kelberry: sorry folks, i have to go
Alfred Kelberry: have a nice friendly chat :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care alf
Yakuzza Lethecus: cya later at mica
Bruce Mowbray: OK. Al, thanks for being here.
Puntuka Adzior: Am I being a dill hole maybe I should go.  my etiquette isn't as good as myself
Bruce Mowbray: You are JUST FINE, Punt.

    --BELL–

Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Arch. Welcome back.
Puntuka Adzior: if one of you could remind myself to read the forum thing
    Puntuka Adzior: that be nice
Bruce Mowbray: Are you referring to the wiki page, Punt?
Bruce Mowbray: I can find the link for you. . .
Puntuka Adzior: I don't know but it's recorded somewhere
    Puntuka Adzior: he knows
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/
Yakuzza Lethecus: you mean our wiki ?
    Bruce Mowbray: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/Chat_Logs/2010/11
Puntuka Adzior: yeah I think he's got a link thing in the Internet
Yakuzza Lethecus: the link is also in the notecard i gave you before
Bruce Mowbray: There are the logs for November. . . and easy to click on December (12) from there, too.            Yakuzza Lethecus: especially the theme sessions might be interesting
    Bruce Mowbray: Yes, Yaku.
Puntuka Adzior: are you trying to say something
Bruce Mowbray: We have some sessions specifically devoted to particular "themes."
Puntuka Adzior: ok am i like a stereotype in some way to you?
    Puntuka Adzior: no offense
Bruce Mowbray: not to me. . .
Puntuka Adzior: ok like I said I don't get out much
Puntuka Adzior: i might wanna leave
Bruce Mowbray: Do whatever you feel a need to do, Punt.
Bruce Mowbray: I hardly "get out" at all! -- because in RL I am a hermit.
Puntuka Adzior: I don't wanna push you and fuck things up for my man jp
Bruce Mowbray: I don't know how you could do that, Punt. . . because we are very open here -- so long as folks respect each other.
Bruce Mowbray: Each of us brings a unique experience -- and we share those, with mutual respect for our differences.
Puntuka Adzior: yeah I'll be honest, then.  this dude is totally developing split personalities.  I don't get control maybe once or twice a year.  never had enough gall to talk to anyone before.
Bruce Mowbray understands "personality splits" - - - and today is visiting the age in RL when most of his splits occurred. . . which, he now understands,  enabled him to survive.
Bruce Mowbray: I am grateful for my splits -- even though most of them no longer serve me well.
Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Sartre. Haven't seen you for a long while.
    Bruce Mowbray: welcome back, Arch.
    Archmage Atlantis: Hello
Bruce Mowbray: We've been talking about "personality splits," Arch. . . .
    Archmage Atlantis: slow connection
    Archmage Atlantis: :)
Archmage Atlantis: It's an element of many people
    Archmage Atlantis: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Although it has taken me many years to appreciate it, I now see that every one of my "selves" (my "splits") appeared to enable me to survive something traumatic. . .
Bruce Mowbray: and that I could NOT have survived without them all.
Bruce Mowbray: But also, that most of them are no longer viable.

    --BELL–

    Puntuka Adzior: --
    Puntuka Adzior: sry
    Puntuka Adzior: on the phone
Bruce Mowbray: Do any of you feel that there is a "deeper sanity" that each of us could find in ourselves. . . .I mean, something deeper and more sane than any of our "splits" ?
Bruce Mowbray: I feel that way, somehow.
Bruce Mowbray: Punt poofed. . . Hope I didn't drive him off.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i am also off, for now, bye and cya guys probably at mica later
Yakuzza Lethecus: the talk is in 70 minutes if someone is interested
Bruce Mowbray: Be happy and safe, Yaku.
    Bruce Mowbray: see ya later.
    Archmage Atlantis: Bye Yaku
Bruce Mowbray: as part of the Art as Being project, I am exploring Bruce when he was a wee kid.
Bruce Mowbray: But, we can always change the subject, of course.
Archmage Atlantis: Seems safer than coming here as a snow leopard *g* - I've had some afterthoughts about having done that
    Archmage Atlantis: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Oh really? I loved that, Arch.
Bruce Mowbray: (Had to laugh when Alfred said "nice tiger," though.)
Bruce Mowbray: Are you more vulnerable as a snow leopard? Don't quite understand your meaning about "safer."
Archmage Atlantis: Well, the designers tend to work from the same basic form
Archmage Atlantis: Yes, I am more vulnerable........It exposes my inner feelings
Archmage Atlantis: That personality is more intimate than I realized before that session
Bruce Mowbray: I do understand that. I've been going in and out of the challenge of feeling like a seven-year-old all during this session - - - and thinking I'd go back to being my own age (much safer there).
Bruce Mowbray: But, could it be a good thing for both of us to experience these vulnerabilities, Arch?
    Archmage Atlantis: :)
Archmage Atlantis: Yes, in the long run, I think so.

    --BELL–

Bruce Mowbray: but also important to respect ourselves enough that we don't push ourselves over the edge with all our reaching.
Bruce Mowbray: mini-Bruce thinks -- OMG that blue fish is enormous!
Archmage Atlantis: *g* .... was /Blub there back then?
Bruce Mowbray: Nope. Just a very lonely little guy named "Bruce."
    Bruce Mowbray: welcome back, Yaku.
Yakuzza Lethecus: thx, just put my Yakuzza in the POS
    Yakuzza Lethecus: iPod
Archmage Atlantis: My connection is so slow, I can't tell if Yaku is back, or just flashing through
    Bruce Mowbray: Cool,. Yaku!
Bruce Mowbray: Mmmm... I see Yaku perfectly.
    Yakuzza Lethecus: Bye Staub
    Yakuzza Lethecus: again
Bruce Mowbray: I hope that sometime during the "holiday" season, we might have a theme session on dealing with the emotional challenges of the season.
Bruce Mowbray: It seems to me like Christmas is an enormous self-inflicted insanity - - that our culture does on itself every year at this time.
    Bruce Mowbray: welcome back, Punt.
Puntuka Adzior: look I am adz
Puntuka Adzior: sry for the attitude.   my family sucks
    Bruce Mowbray: mmmm. . . . RL families can be weird . . .
Puntuka Adzior: they are like, Second Life is a waste of time!  You should stay inside and be alone like me!  it is much better trust me
Puntuka Adzior: that's why jp is a putz
    Archmage Atlantis: Agree, Bruce.......even non-biological "family" :)
Bruce Mowbray: Not a single one of my RL friends (or family) will even go near SL - - -
Bruce Mowbray: They have all pre-judged SL and want nothing to do with it.
Puntuka Adzior: well I am looking to shutdown so cya
    Puntuka Adzior: whenever
