The Guardian for this meeting was Fefonz Quan. The comments are by Fefonz Quan.

In the morning after Pema's legendary appearance at SL live TV, Adams resumes his cheerleader avatar cotume, including the necessary pom poms and typical gestures.

Me, and later on Pema himself, enjoy the animated show, while talking about other stuff too.

Fefonz Quan: hey Adams, Hey buddha
Adams Rubble: Hi Fefonz and buddha :)
Adams Rubble: How are you Fefonz?
Fefonz Quan: very well, and you?
Adams Rubble: I am good, thank you
Fefonz Quan: i understand pema was on an SL tv show yesterday evening, did you see it?
Adams Rubble: Yes, we watched it here. I am still hoarse
Fefonz Quan: how can you watch it here?
Adams Rubble: I had two computers. hehe
    Fefonz Quan: :)
Adams Rubble: Corvi posted the log and there is a link on the log
Fefonz Quan: hoarse - because it wa funny?
    Fefonz Quan: ah, great!
Fefonz Quan: i think i will take some time today to go over it
Adams Rubble: I found a cheerleading outfit in my inventory complete with pom poms...we were cheering
    Fefonz Quan: :)
Fefonz Quan: hope the chatlog has some imges ;)
Adams Rubble: I took a picture but it is not posted yet. It is on a different computer
Fefonz Quan: feel free to send it anytime
Adams Rubble gives a demo :)
    Fefonz Quan: wow :)
    Adams Rubble: P
    Adams Rubble: E
    Adams Rubble: M
    Adams Rubble: A
    Adams Rubble: Yay
Fefonz Quan: those pompoms are going through you
    Fefonz Quan: lol
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Adams Rubble: whew
Adams Rubble: hehe I am still wearing part of the other outfit
Fefonz Quan: your SL campus uniform?
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: It should read PaB
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: the quiz show was a bit wierd but what the heck its Second Life :)
Fefonz Quan: what is the show about?
Adams Rubble: Pema was on a panel of four who were competing
Adams Rubble: There were questions and they had to make some statements
Adams Rubble: It is hard to describe actually :)
Fefonz Quan: ok, i'll watch it then instead of talking about it :)
Adams Rubble: but very much like an SL event
    Adams Rubble: complete with furries
Adams Rubble: Pema was a good sport
Fefonz Quan: i'm glad to hear. were the other competitors people we know?
Adams Rubble: No. One seemed to be either looking things up or having someone tell her because there were long pauses and then she would come up with a very detailed precise answer
Adams Rubble: she was a librarian :)
Fefonz Quan: well, i guess you can't avoid that in SL
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: She was good at it
Adams Rubble: I was thinking some of the questions would not be that easy to look up
Fefonz Quan: yes, google transform ''knowledge' from thinking/remembering to searching
    Adams Rubble: yes
Adams Rubble: Of course, one can't always depend on the source :)
Fefonz Quan: sure. it is strage to me, i know some programmers theses days when they have some algorinic issue, even small, search for it on the net instead of solving it
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Fefonz Quan: algorithmic*
Adams Rubble: That ould be way beyond me either way. hehe
Fefonz Quan: in a while people will start claiming that you should have your laptop on a job interview
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble pictures them sitting across a desk each meeting each other in a virtual world
Adams Rubble: at the same time
Fefonz Quan: remind me of the times calculators came to the market, and i wondered if people are worse at calculating in thehead these days
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Adams Rubble: I am anyway
Adams Rubble: It worries me sometimes...is that a part of my brain I should be using
Fefonz Quan: i would guess you didn't have calculators at school
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: Do you remember slide rules
Fefonz Quan: no, my father had one. i am in the generation between them
Adams Rubble: One used to be able to tell a technical person because they had pocket ones sticking out of the shirt pockets
    Fefonz Quan: yep :)
Fefonz Quan: well, more compact than a laptop :)
Adams Rubble: but not as versatile
Adams Rubble: couldn't do art history on a slide rule :)
Fefonz Quan: yes. i still think the pocket calculator is one of the perfect machines ever made
Adams Rubble: I had one of the first
Adams Rubble: It cost $60 could only add, subtract, multiply and divide
Adams Rubble: It has a 90 day guarantee
Adams Rubble: and worked for 90 days exactly
    Fefonz Quan: hehehe :)
    Adams Rubble: Hi Pema :)
Fefonz Quan: i got the scientific one, and they haven't change a bit in 20 year. perfect as it is for its purpose
    Fefonz Quan: hi Pema
Fefonz Quan: total contradictiv eto the pc culture of upgrading any other year
Pema Pera: Hi Adams and Fefonz
Adams Rubble: Yes, once something is perfected no need to do more
Fefonz Quan: Pema, i here you are a celebrity now ;-)
Adams Rubble is in her cheerleading outfit from the session last night
Fefonz Quan: well adams, word 200 was enouh for me
    Fefonz Quan: 2000*
Pema Pera: hehe, well, thanks Adams for the cheerleading on the chat log!!
    Pema Pera: and here :-)
    Pema Pera: hahahaha
Adams Rubble: We had fun last night :)
Pema Pera: Does Fefonz know about cheerleading?
Fefonz Quan: well, only from american college movies and the 'heroes' tv series
Fefonz Quan: the cheerleader there is undestructable
Pema Pera: you look very authentic, Adams, as a cheerleader!!
    Adams Rubble: :)
Pema Pera: but did I interrupt a conversation?
Fefonz Quan: not a very profound one :)
Adams Rubble: We were just musing about technical developments
Adams Rubble: As a cheerleader one isn't expected to be too profound
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Adams Rubble: just enthusiastic
    Adams Rubble: YAY
Pema Pera is amused at Adams' typing motions with the large what-do-you-call-them around Adams' arms
    Fefonz Quan: lol
    Adams Rubble: pom poms
    Pema Pera: hahahah
Pema Pera: ah, yes, heard of those!
Fefonz Quan: though those are very scifi pompoms
Pema Pera: a title for the session perhaps, today, Pom Poms?
    Pema Pera: "futuristic pom poms"
Fefonz Quan: that surely would work ;)
Pema Pera: that was an interesting motion!
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Pema Pera: clapping?
    Adams Rubble: it is clapping
    Adams Rubble: yes
Fefonz Quan: they are a little transparent, you know?
    Adams Rubble: are they?
    Adams Rubble: oh I see
Pema Pera: not so clearly for me
Fefonz Quan: i see both your hands from where i sit
    Adams Rubble: stop peaking
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Pema Pera: in the clapping the two opposits, red and black, mix quite nicely
    Pema Pera: :)
Fefonz Quan: yes, no need for pauli principle in SL
Pema Pera: is there pom pom sound associated with the clapping, Adams?
Pema Pera: I'm in the train again, so no sound . . . (>_<)
Fefonz Quan: clapping sound i would say
Adams Rubble: e pretty quiet but accompanied by much enthisastic yelling and jumping
Adams Rubble: as on Goooooooo Pemmmmmma!
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Pema Pera: hehehe
Fefonz Quan: well i already understood my must see for today is your last night sow pema :)
    Fefonz Quan: show*
Pema Pera: well, a lot happens in one day in SL . . . yesterday morning your amazing report about your experience of falling into an acceptance of things as they are, Adams; then in the afternoon a great discussion about time; and then your cheering session in the evening . . . .
    Adams Rubble: :)
Pema Pera: is it up, Fefonz?
Fefonz Quan: i was told so, didn't check yet
    Fefonz Quan: it is posted
Pema Pera: ah! it would be great if we could make complete movies of all of our Kira events
Pema Pera: we'd need to find a good cameraperson with time on her/his hands . . . .
    Adams Rubble ducks
    Pema Pera: hahaha
Fefonz Quan: yes, virtual camera person
Pema Pera: you have pom poms on your hands already, Adams
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Pema Pera: Adams, to switch topics if I may, have you reflected more on your experiences of the last couple days, or did anything new happen?
Fefonz Quan: (where are they reported if i may?)
Adams Rubble: I may be slowing down a little
Adams Rubble: Reading the logs is having an amazing effect on me
    Pema Pera: I can imagine!
Adams Rubble: But one thing is does do which is not so good
Adams Rubble: is that I am flitting from idea to idea
    Pema Pera: replacing your sleep?
Adams Rubble: and this morning it seemed like I had a short attention span :)
Pema Pera: yes, I can see that too
Adams Rubble: I have been trying to see patterns
    Fefonz Quan repeats his question
Adams Rubble: not quite ready yet Fefonz
Pema Pera: but there is the blog
Adams Rubble: they should be there
Fefonz Quan: so you talk about paB session?
Adams Rubble: yes my blog is rubblebornthoughts.wordpress.com/
    Fefonz Quan: ah, thanks !
Adams Rubble: Oh Fefonz. I am writing a Chronicles
Adams Rubble: and I am reading over old logs
    Adams Rubble: Getting back...
Adams Rubble: I have broken things down by months
Adams Rubble: am I not seeing any patterns because they go across months?
Adams Rubble: or am I too involved in seeing from my own doings?
Adams Rubble: or aren't there patterns
Pema Pera: there may be many patterns crisscrossing
Adams Rubble: I have a couple of weeks yet to figure that out
Pema Pera: with so many people and so many sessions and no imposed structure
Fefonz Quan: what patterns are you looking for (and why)?
Adams Rubble: yes. often we are repeating subjects
    Adams Rubble: any patterns Fefonz
Adams Rubble: but then with history
Adams Rubble: being this close one would not be able to see them
Adams Rubble: so maybe I souldn;t worry
    Adams Rubble: shouldn't
Fefonz Quan: ah, patterns in our meetings?
Adams Rubble: Maybe I just keep cheering and waving my pom-poms :)
    Adams Rubble: YAY
    Pema Pera: :-)
    Pema Pera: what fun !!
Pema Pera: (crossing the Rutgers campus now by train, seeing the half frozen river)
Fefonz Quan: well, i guess there is some pattern concerning which guardians are at which sessions :)
    Pema Pera waving to Adams
    Adams Rubble waves
Pema Pera peering out the train window looking for pompoms
    Adams Rubble: yes fefonz
Adams Rubble: and we guardians change too
Fefonz Quan: and that might correlate with geographical positions
Fefonz Quan: but that is not so interesting, i know :)
Adams Rubble: you mean Europeans having different sessions than Americans for example?
    Fefonz Quan: sure
Adams Rubble: The different times of day often have a different flavor
Fefonz Quan: euros, aussis, you name it
Adams Rubble: but not as different as one would expect
Adams Rubble: We have become more geographically diverse
    Adams Rubble writes that down
Fefonz Quan: yes, it is great
Fefonz Quan: there are people from countries i'v never been into
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: At least one who maybe only one of us has been to
    Fefonz Quan: two i guess
Pema Pera: yes, when we started out, we had mostly Americans, and only later did Euriopeans and Australians and others join our ranks -- Storm was one early exception
Fefonz Quan: with an indian and korrean we would cover most time zones
Fefonz Quan: (well, pema covers japan sometimes
Pema Pera: Our Korean lives in London . . . Gaya
Fefonz Quan: ah, i didn't know that
Adams Rubble: we have visitors from those places
Adams Rubble: from all time zones
Pema Pera: yes, curious that we don't have any Indians, though it is a billion-people country with many of them English speaking . . . .
Pema Pera: and a traditional interest in thigns spiritual/philosophical
Fefonz Quan: yes, i guess somewhre we can find statistics about thei SL involvment
    Fefonz Quan: their*
Adams Rubble: They will come :)
Fefonz Quan: if we buld it ;-)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Adams Rubble: or not :)
Fefonz Quan: i have a feeling your train is near the station pema
Pema Pera: (have to leave, train ride coming to and end; good seeing you both again!)
Adams Rubble looks down the line
Pema Pera: you're reading my mind, Fefonz
Adams Rubble: you too Pema. Bye :)
    Fefonz Quan: :)
Pema Pera: see you at 1 for lunch!
    Adams Rubble: YAY!
    Fefonz Quan: sure bye pema
Pema Pera: and Adams too, if she cares to join us :)
    Fefonz Quan: :)
    Pema Pera: bfn
Adams Rubble has to stay here
    Fefonz Quan: why?
    Adams Rubble: work fefonz :)
Fefonz Quan: ah, i thought here in SL :)
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Adams Rubble: YAY!
Fefonz Quan: i already suggested new language types
Fefonz Quan: slere (slhere), stime *sltime, slnow, etc.
Adams Rubble doesn;t know what those are
Fefonz Quan: my suggestin to define between words that point to rl and those pointing to sl
    Adams Rubble: oh I see
Fefonz Quan: maybe, i have a meetsling, i hae a converslation wtc.
    Adams Rubble: slcheerleaders :)
Adams Rubble: yes, I see your point
    Fefonz Quan: cheersleeder
    Fefonz Quan: i would say
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: I expect it will happen...sort of like pronouns
    Adams Rubble: sle, sler, slit
    Adams Rubble: slwe, slou, sley
    Fefonz Quan: slit?
    Adams Rubble: it in sl
    Fefonz Quan: ah, ok
Adams Rubble: like my slpom poms
    Fefonz Quan: slion :)
    Fefonz Quan: :)
Adams Rubble: Language sometimes takes some time though
Fefonz Quan: well, i KNOW, (being here for 18 months :)
Adams Rubble: are you wearing a box on your nose or is my camera all wacky?
Fefonz Quan: wacky, those are my matrix sunglasses :)
    Adams Rubble: oh, sorry
Adams Rubble: they were there before
    Adams Rubble whops her camera
