The Guardian for this meeting was Storm Nordwind. The comments are by Storm Nordwind.
We enjoyed many long silences in the meeting this morning. But we start loosening up by talking about our favorite cats.
Storm Nordwind: Good morning! :)
Eden Haiku: Good morning Storm;-)
Storm Nordwind: Are you rested, despite the cats? ;)
Eden Haiku: Yes, I went back to sleep ;-)
Eden Haiku: I love tweeting in the middle of the night!
Storm Nordwind: You have an appreciate audience :)
Eden Haiku: Complaining to a wide audience about a noisy cat is always fun ;-)
Eden Haiku: I envy Steve's cat always sitting on his lap when he is at his keyboard. Mine just wants me to get up and play at 3 am!
Storm Nordwind: Hmm... I remember those days... no cats anymore sadly
Eden Haiku: Mine is a sweetheart but when the neighbour's cat go through the opened window to eat in her bowl she gets very territorial ;-)
Storm Nordwind: Fair enough. A cat jealously and zealousy guards her ease and comfort!
Eden Haiku: We are moving to a summer house for three months this summer as we have been doing for many years now, and she will have even more freedom. She loves it there andmakes new friends: deers and bears...
Storm Nordwind: Wow. That sounds lovely. Is it far? Is it isolated?
Eden Haiku: No, not too far from Montreal, about one hour away up in the Laurentian mountains.
Storm Nordwind: Fabulous. If I still had cats, they wouldn't want to come back!
Eden Haiku: Lovely little artist village. Plenty of hiking trails.
Storm Nordwind: Good for writing?
Eden Haiku: Were you living in the countryside when you had cats?
Storm Nordwind: Yes and no
Eden Haiku: Yes. Summer is writing time for both of us with hiking trips and dips in the swimming pool.
Storm Nordwind: I had - what we call 'moggies' in the town
Eden Haiku: Moggies?
Storm Nordwind: and I had skogkatts in the country
Eden Haiku: Skogkatts, are you talking old norse?
Storm Nordwind: A moggie is just a British city crossbreed - like a mongrel cat
Eden Haiku: Ah!
Eden Haiku: Mine is a mongrel withn a lot of Maine Coon, they are beautiful cats!
Storm Nordwind: A skogkatt is the Norse name (modern too I believe) for their Forest cat
Eden Haiku: Wild cat for a wild man he he!
Storm Nordwind: and some people think the Maine Coon is descended from the Skogkatt
Storm Nordwind smiles
Adams Rubble: Hello Storm and Eden and Bleu
Eden Haiku: Oh, I heard stories about Maine Coon being Marie Antoinette's cats sent in America. here comes a dog person! Hi Bleu!
Storm Nordwind: There are huge and beautiful, but sadly they don't get along in cities
Bleu Oleander: hi all
Storm Nordwind: Good morning Adams, Bleu
Eden Haiku: Love your blue self!
Storm Nordwind: Batique Bleu!
Bleu Oleander: ty! Yves Klein
Eden Haiku: Oh hello Adams!
Eden Haiku: Blue klein the most beautiful blue!
Bleu Oleander: from an Yves Klein painting that just sold for 12 million
Bleu Oleander: so I thought it was AV worthy
Adams Rubble: hello darren
Darren Islar: hi everyone
Eden Haiku: Hi Darren!
Bleu Oleander: hi Darren
Storm Nordwind: I think we like what's behind the blue best. I've met many a fancily dressed avatar whom I'd wished on the other side of the world!
--BELL--
Storm Nordwind: Good afternoon Darren
Darren Islar: I guess I am on the other side of the world :-)
Darren Islar: literally that is
Storm Nordwind chuckles
Adams Rubble: :)
Storm Nordwind: Well there's many a casually dressed avatar on the other side of the world that I'd wished was in the same coffee shop :)

Bleu Oleander: hi Qt
Qt Core: Hi all
Storm Nordwind: Hi Qt
Darren Islar: hi QT
Eden Haiku: HI Qt!

Eden Haiku: Have you been sick Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Yes. Still am really. Bugs going round
Adams Rubble: sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon
Bleu Oleander: me too actually, but much better now
Darren Islar: then I'm glad for now, you being on the other side of the world :-)
Eden Haiku: Oh, sorry to hear that ;-) Hope you get well soon.
Adams Rubble: :) Darren
Eden Haiku: Snap Adams!
Darren Islar: flew Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Thank you all for your kindness - even you Darren!
Darren Islar: heheh
Storm Nordwind: I guess it's flu, yes
Eden Haiku: Storm flew with the flu and Bleu too ;-)
Storm Nordwind chuckles
Bleu Oleander: :))
Darren Islar: :-)
Storm Nordwind: Now there's an interesting word - the origin of 'flu'
Eden Haiku: Yes?
Darren Islar: a lot english words sounds the same
Darren Islar: very confusing
Storm Nordwind: flu is short for influenza
Eden Haiku: A nice ground for puns Darren ;-)))
Storm Nordwind: And influeza comes from 'influence'
Storm Nordwind: and it was thought that one became ill due to bad influence
Storm Nordwind: from the stars
Darren Islar: :-) Eden
Eden Haiku: Oh so you have been under influence then?
Storm Nordwind chuckles
Eden Haiku: Which star?
Eden Haiku: Lady Gaga?
Storm Nordwind: oh... bad aspects between the planets - especially Saturn no doubt. Eden, lack of sleep has made you very silly - I like it!
Eden Haiku: No no, I don't want to make you dizzy. You need rest and quiet to recover ;-)

Eden Haiku: Yes ;-)
Storm Nordwind: A thief can steal my money, or property, and I can replace it. But if someone steals my time, that is lost forever.
Eden Haiku: Yes, that is true.
Storm Nordwind: But I observe, that "someone" is usually me!
Bleu Oleander: :)
Eden Haiku: How do you steal time to yourself Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Procrastination. Dallying with distractions Eden. Not acting in accord with my own priorities
