Calvino Rabeni: If you have any ideas / requests, please let me know!

Calvino Rabeni: Simply due to the concreteness of the work
Calvino Rabeni: Not through any desire of control
Bleu Oleander: I think it would be nice to have a page to document our art projects
Calvino Rabeni: So probably, I'll take the first crack at it,
Paradise Tennant: smiles someone has to
Calvino Rabeni: then of course, somehow new versions can be done in a "self-organizing" manner
Calvino Rabeni: So it will evolve without being micro-managed
Bleu Oleander: yes, people can post their own art pieces

Calvino Rabeni: I like the guided tour approach taken in the sacred art museum
Calvino Rabeni: maybe we can do some similar thing on the wiki, or here in the SL

Calvino Rabeni: It woudl be fun to see more interactivity also
stevenaia Michinaga: 3d has so far to go on web pages
Bleu Oleander: yes it would be nice to make the wiki art pages interactive
Calvino Rabeni: Just anything to prompt people to explore a little too, with some "guidance"
Paradise Tennant: yes
Calvino Rabeni: Childrens books had a lot of ways to make reading interesting for kids
Calvino Rabeni: Like, you pull out the tail of some hidden animal
Calvino Rabeni: There might be more adult versions of such things
Bleu Oleander: that would be fun

Paradise Tennant: we are ... when I first discovered sl I kind felt 12 all over again .. particularly liked the falling .. so much fun to fall :)
Calvino Rabeni: Agree steve, once you "adult" things, there goes the neighborhood

Calvino Rabeni: The one side has a western disco under it
Bleu Oleander: hmm ... seems like an obvious jump to me
Calvino Rabeni: the other side - someone said there was a balloon service that landed there
Paradise Tennant: hmm can't say I have .. adds it to the list ..use to just fly to the top of the grid and then plumet

Calvino Rabeni: what are the barriers to creativity?
Bleu Oleander: it's a lot to learn on the tech side
Bleu Oleander: just learning the medium
Calvino Rabeni: Dreaded learning curve, right
Paradise Tennant: hmm I guess .. the physical constraints sometimes to articulating what your imagination can see so clearly ..
Bleu Oleander: so much to learn if you come from an artist background

Calvino Rabeni: I was thinking about collaborations
Bleu Oleander: yes, would be good to have tech work with artist
Calvino Rabeni: Not much really, just whether I could team up with someone and co-create the artistic SL settings
Bleu Oleander: yes, great idea
Calvino Rabeni: Maybe, a little tech rubs off, a little creativity rubs off, on the partners
Bleu Oleander: they each learn
Bleu Oleander: that was the original idea of art of being
Bleu Oleander: to have people work together
Bleu Oleander: and learn
Calvino Rabeni: Bleu, will you have a "spec" page on the wiki, for what's becoming possibly, a series of projects?
Bleu Oleander: yes, plan to do a series of projects
Bleu Oleander: was announcing them one at a time
Calvino Rabeni: A web page to check the latest, etc.

Bleu Oleander: oh you mean a description of the current project and the parameters?
Calvino Rabeni: Also it turns into good publicity, or magnetism, or whatever
Calvino Rabeni: Yes I meant like that, Bleu
Bleu Oleander: good idea
Bleu Oleander: but i guess i need a page to post it on?
Calvino Rabeni: You can make one anywhere on the wiki
Bleu Oleander: I can?
Calvino Rabeni: I think so - can't every PAB person edit the wiki?
Paradise Tennant: smiles you can do anything Bleu I am quite convinced of it :)
Calvino Rabeni: LIke when posting logs - just go somewhere and create a new page
Bleu Oleander: hmm
Calvino Rabeni: You could start in Guardian Contributions; if it's personal, or promote it to a more shared area in the wiki
Calvino Rabeni: People seem shy about the wiki
Calvino Rabeni: There have been no borderline uses, or anything
Bleu Oleander: I think it could be a main section page that people could add to with pics and comments
Calvino Rabeni: LIke, putting a not on the front page that says "Hey Lookie Click Here Visit My Cool Thing!"
Calvino Rabeni: If you want help / advice I'd be glad to assist
