    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ya :)

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi eliza

Yakuzza Lethecus: how are you today ß

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi sophia

Eliza Madrigal: Very well, thanks. You?

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sophia! :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: it's ok, i am floating arouind

sophia Placebo: Hello Yak Hello Eliza

Eliza Madrigal: Gosh, what a beautiful dress... always so dramatic

Eliza Madrigal wonders about the mask... symbollic?

sophia Placebo: i donnt know , i've discover it in my inventory yeterday with a red macaw and a parrot tree , felt like keeping it on

    Eliza Madrigal smiles

Eliza Madrigal: Neat. You have a fun inventory :)))

sophia Placebo: i dont have tribal cloths though , shame

Eliza Madrigal: Maybe Bleu could teach you how to make some. She's been quite creative lately with patterns, etc

Yakuzza Lethecus: there used to be an native american tribal sim

    Yakuzza Lethecus: with freebie clothing

    Yakuzza Lethecus: seikulu or somnething

Yakuzza Lethecus: don't recall the name

Eliza Madrigal: Oh, neat.. wonder if its still there. Good tip

sophia Placebo: brilliant ! creating things is a lot of fun

Eliza Madrigal: Have you seen the email about Art as Being, Sophia? I've been turning over ideas about how to snapshot 'time'... its a funny idea

Eliza Madrigal: you're talented in that way so would love to see what you come up with :))

sophia Placebo: i did ,but not feeling creative these days ,and yes it would be intersting to see what others might come up with

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: Ah, very busy then?

sophia Placebo nods "lots of reading , rereading rechecking , updating and such"

Eliza Madrigal: reading for studies, or?

Yakuzza Lethecus: are you specialized in a medical field or in the way to get specialized ?

sophia Placebo: lots of negotiations with patients to take their medicine or not to take the medicine , re reading the patient profiles their cases their evalution they get , updating my info about new ways to manage some diseases , reading about more studies done locally comparing them to studies done outside , well our job needs lots of reading

    Eliza Madrigal nods

sophia Placebo: not yet Yak , maybe sometime in the coming years

Eliza Madrigal: You mention negotiating with patients a lot I've noticed. Seems like much of your work entails getting people to want to see what they need to see in order to take care of themselves!

Eliza Madrigal: I feel like that as a mom sometimes too! :)))

sophia Placebo: one of golden standards in medicin is to envolve patient in the decision about their health but then some patient dont decide what is best for them

sophia Placebo nods "like being their mom but with less emotional envolcvement"

Eliza Madrigal: maybe we're not conditioned to think that our health is a responsibility, in a way

sophia Placebo: exactly thats what i try ti make it clear to my paients

Eliza Madrigal: we start off with a vehicle to care for

Eliza Madrigal: and don't pay attention til it starts acting up.. heh

sophia Placebo: hmm good picture of the problem

Eliza Madrigal: maybe... as soon as I wrote that I wondered if that was still distancing 'it' though... the body as this 'thing'... vehicle

Eliza Madrigal: when its obviously not just that... more fluid, affects everything as life

sophia Placebo: it is hard to tell iam the body and hard to tell iam not a body , the I is very problematic

    Eliza Madrigal: yes!

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eliza Madrigal: we're not 'just' a body, and yet 'body' is as much the material of 'what we are' as anything else?

sophia Placebo: what is anything else?

Eliza Madrigal: yes, exactly... thoughts, trees, air 'we' breathe

    Eliza Madrigal: 'other' people

    --BELL--

sophia Placebo: thats intersting ,i just feel that anything not produced by the body is not part of it , it is even more intersting that you've added the thoughts to the list

Eliza Madrigal: maybe stretching a bit, but I was thinking that 'everything' that's part of our experience is something we take in... let out...

Eliza Madrigal: not separate from body, in a way

sophia Placebo: ok , lets analyse it , food we have eat and is now is what is building up our body is bard of our flesh

    sophia Placebo: part*

    Eliza Madrigal nods

Eliza Madrigal: the food is composed of other things it took in... air it breathed...

    Eliza Madrigal: chemicals processed...

sophia Placebo: sensations , all five of them, are registered in our memory , so kinda part of it

    Eliza Madrigal nods

Eliza Madrigal: sensations as gateways.... processors too

    sophia Placebo: but.....

    Eliza Madrigal listens

sophia Placebo: the apple we eat is not the apple we keep in our body , just modefied parts of it

Eliza Madrigal: ah but where would the line be, between the part disguarded and the part kept...

sophia Placebo: just chemical exchange but we keep our material the same

    Eliza Madrigal: inside/outside

Eliza Madrigal: and the energy we use vs keep...

Eliza Madrigal: we do make choices all the time... but I guess I was thinking that the lines can be fuzzier than we tend to think... like we can't choose to smoke and not be affected by it....

Eliza Madrigal: or that we form patterns which determine what we seek out ?

sophia Placebo: i was thinkin of that yesterday

sophia Placebo: biased dicisions by our own nature

Eliza Madrigal: hmmm, nods... generating all the time

Eliza Madrigal: As an aside, I was noticing that Yakuzza's av has the most peaceful expression....

sophia Placebo: do i eat the choclate or not , hungry ,hypoglycemic , feeling pleasure after eating it , calm by cafaien , but which one of them is supposed to be a sound decision to eat that chocolate

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    sophia Placebo: hehe

    --BELL--

Yakuzza Lethecus: i only feel pleasure while eating choclate :)

Eliza Madrigal: That's just it, Sophia! That's the 'stuff' our life is made up of... "Do I eat the chocolate?"

Eliza Madrigal: and then, "do I stop before I make myself ill?"

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: i stop when the package is empty :(

    sophia Placebo chuckles

Eliza Madrigal: Well don't want to be wasteful... hehe

sophia Placebo: like most of poeple do

    Eliza Madrigal: yup

Eliza Madrigal: So maybe the questions can be kept at... like "If I don't stop, why?"

    Eliza Madrigal: sometimes just boredom

sophia Placebo nods "lots of things that makes you wonder why who made the lanauge put them all in the I

Yakuzza Lethecus: actually that is the simplest way to see our rationality against our true behavior

Eliza Madrigal nods... all in the I

    Eliza Madrigal: hmm

Yakuzza Lethecus: the cognitive dissonance in what i do and what is providing me/us with pleasure

    Eliza Madrigal nods nods

Eliza Madrigal: I like the idea of feeding the deeper desires and letting that, take care of the other ones

sophia Placebo: what deeper desires Eliza?

Eliza Madrigal: hm, like... "If I have this glass of wine that's fine, but I often have two when I decide to have one, and I would like to accomplish __ tomorrow/be at my best, so maybe I'll wait until Friday for the glass of wine"

Eliza Madrigal: I try not to say 'no wine'

    Yakuzza Lethecus: i wo

Yakuzza Lethecus: i wonder how to really change my behavior, so how to create new habits that enforce and habituate new behavior

Yakuzza Lethecus: most of the time when i "want" something i only remember that i "want" it but not do it

Yakuzza Lethecus: so i can think about learning or to study every day while not really getting started

Yakuzza Lethecus: so many ppl i know talk for years that they would like to learn how to use computers/learn french/what ever

Yakuzza Lethecus: but it's habitual and a topic that they "would like to do so"

Eliza Madrigal: yeah, seems we we have 'ideas' of what would be in our best interest...

Yakuzza Lethecus: i sometimes think of how far i would be if i would have used all the time i used to be selfpitty in some way :P

Yakuzza Lethecus: but still how to use time, how to drop the habits that make us stuck in our associative circles

Eliza Madrigal smiles... think that's part of the human condition Ya... to look at the time and think we might have __, or ___

Eliza Madrigal: or to see the person next to us who seems to always understood 'what to do' and 'when'

Eliza Madrigal: maybe we miss much of what we've actually done/been part of

    Eliza Madrigal: don't see it

Eliza Madrigal: OooH! Makes me remember something Fael said once!

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: I quoted Mother Teresa "We cannot all do great things, but we can all do small things with great love". Fael responded "We all do great things, we just don't see them as great things."

sophia Placebo: true to some extend

Eliza Madrigal: maybe if we appreciate ourselves a lot, it becomes easier to take care of ourselves

Eliza Madrigal: hehe... yes still important to see that we are making ourselves ill with too much chocolate sometimes?

sophia Placebo: i think we are children trying to play with electricity or fire

Eliza Madrigal: oh wow, go on?

sophia Placebo: just the fire is far less aggressive , i meant if you see those who went throuh hear t attack or any other cmplication to DM and aske them , dose it worth it to eat that piece of chocolate they would say no

    Eliza Madrigal: Ahhh

Eliza Madrigal: when the consequences are real/felt

    sophia Placebo nods

Yakuzza Lethecus: how to fight our dissonance

sophia Placebo: thats what keep away from wine in weekdays i guess

Eliza Madrigal: I wonder why we're not helped more by seeing what others go through

Yakuzza Lethecus: hey, a glass of wine prevents heart desease :)

Eliza Madrigal smiles... yes and I do prefer red

Eliza Madrigal: BUT that's moderate... one glass...

Eliza Madrigal: like one piece of chocolate, especially dark, is very good for one also

sophia Placebo: thats the amazin thing about humans I

Yakuzza Lethecus: and then i ask myself weather it's true or not true because in science there is so much lobbywork

sophia Placebo: we dont learn from others experinces , we have to have our own

Yakuzza Lethecus: i even heard both

Eliza Madrigal nods @ Sophia... its a funny thing to see

Yakuzza Lethecus: that a glass of red wine prevents heart desease and that it doesn't

Yakuzza Lethecus: and not to forget about the placebo effect

Eliza Madrigal: well, and what sort of wine... sugary wines for someone with hypoglycemia is a terrible thing

Yakuzza Lethecus: some ppl just say it doesn't matter if something really works or not as long as it's helping

sophia Placebo shrugs "i dont drink and i treat only heavy drinkers , we dont have that kind of moderte one glass of wine poepel around

Eliza Madrigal: so it comes down to personal choices each second.. noticing what one feels

Yakuzza Lethecus got rid of another prejudice

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Yakuzza Lethecus thought that drinking isnt't an issue in muslim countries

sophia Placebo: not major issue but it is growing up , with drugs unmplyment poverty and all kind of crimes

Yakuzza Lethecus: i just read about the big milk farm in the saudi desert with the 37k cows and that milk is supposed to become so popular in saudi arabia :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: do you drink milk sophia ?

    sophia Placebo: everyday why ?

    Yakuzza Lethecus: i was wondering

sophia Placebo: what makes you wonder?

    --BELL--

    Yakuzza Lethecus: just my curiousity

    sophia Placebo: alright

Eliza Madrigal: yes its funny... never thought of milk as something differently consumed

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eliza Madrigal: Eliza's habit prescription: "If you (me) can't be moderate, then you have to give up ___ altogether!" And in the meantime, try to feed better habits...

Eliza Madrigal: I go through this with internet usage :)

    sophia Placebo: hehe

    sophia Placebo: it works

    Eliza Madrigal: mommying myself :)

Eliza Madrigal: its made more difficult when its a 'good' habit... like pab which can be so enriching ... harder to tell the lines and they often change :)

sophia Placebo: i nedd to go eat something , just come back from busy day , nice to meet you both , see you some other day

Eliza Madrigal: Bye Sophia, nice to see you/check in

    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks!

Yakuzza Lethecus: take care you both
