    --BELL--

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi wol :)

Wol Euler: hello yaku, zen, bleu

    Zen Arado: Hi Wol :)

    Bleu Oleander: hi Wol

Bleu Oleander: very feathery today Wol :)

Wol Euler grins. An old outfit, but I like it

Zen Arado: ah this laborious typing again

Bleu Oleander: hard to type after voice

Zen Arado: I would love to go to Stuttgart retreat

    Wol Euler: so do

    Wol Euler: :)

Zen Arado: not sure I could manage it though

Wol Euler wonders how best to twist your arm

Zen Arado: notice they have disabled access rooms

    Wol Euler: oh ...

    Wol Euler: hmmmm

Zen Arado: regional train might be difficult

    Zen Arado: for a wheelchair

Wol Euler: it would need some arranging, yes, they are not as roomy as the ICEs

    Wol Euler: hmmmm

Zen Arado: it's getting on and off is the problem

Zen Arado: here they have a ramp on all trains

Wol Euler: well the regional trains are little more than glorified subways

Zen Arado: if it was level acces ...

Wol Euler: mmmm, let me think, I can't remember

    Wol Euler: perhaps they were.

Wol Euler: I can check on that this weekend, I had to go to the train station anyway

Zen Arado: I had problems last year when I went to LOndon

Zen Arado: huge difference in plarform and train entrance height

    Wol Euler: mmhmm

Zen Arado: and half of the stations have no lift

Zen Arado: was amazed at lack of access

    Wol Euler: yeah

    Bleu Oleander: yes

Wol Euler: outside of hte big cities, Germany is probably not much better

Wol Euler: the stations I went through were all unmanned

Zen Arado: you would think that a capital city would be better

Wol Euler: nobody there to help anyone who needed assistance

Wol Euler: well, London is hte world capitol of bloodymindedness :)

    Zen Arado: :)

Zen Arado: buses are good though

    Zen Arado: all have ramps

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi liza

    Zen Arado: Hi Liza

    Bleu Oleander: hi Liza

    Liza Deischer: hie everyone

    Liza Deischer: hi

    Wol Euler: hello liza

Wol Euler: yaku is writing a novel again, or crashing

Yakuzza Lethecus: i have to admit for me it's a negative aspect that the retreat is a real retreat in the nature

    Zen Arado: :)

    Bleu Oleander: :)

    Zen Arado: why?

Wol Euler: well, I thought about that.

Yakuzza Lethecus: i have silence as often as i want, i have nature were i go

    Wol Euler: heh

    Wol Euler: fair enough

Zen Arado: so you would prefer more noise?

Yakuzza Lethecus: it's "just" to meet ppl the landscape looks like my place without the ammount of hills

    Zen Arado: I see

Zen Arado: a change is nice

    --BELL--

Yakuzza Lethecus: so i think about maybe saving there and propably fly to the states next year

Wol Euler nods. Probably a better idea

Zen Arado: have you been to the US?

    Yakuzza Lethecus: never

Zen Arado: it's good to see

Bleu Oleander: the Florida retreat Yaku?

Zen Arado: we've seen it all our lives in movies

Yakuzza Lethecus: i was thinking about that one, yes

    Wol Euler: :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: and even tho italy might a natural one that sounds interesting as well

Bleu Oleander: is Eliza organizing that one?

Zen Arado: I've been to Florida twice

Wol Euler: there is an odd kind of deja-vu to going to many american places, for htat reason

Bleu Oleander: I've never been to Florida

    Zen Arado: yes

Zen Arado: it's very touristy though

Zen Arado: but if you are a tourist that's ok

    Zen Arado: I loved Disneyworld

Bleu Oleander: i'm sure that's very touristy

    Zen Arado: yes

    Zen Arado: but hey

    Zen Arado: still enjoyable

    Wol Euler nods

Bleu Oleander: have you been to NYC?

    Zen Arado: no

    Zen Arado: onny Florida

Zen Arado: would love to see NY

Bleu Oleander: it's my favorite city

Wol Euler: New York is wonderful, it's the most exciting city I know of. I love it, and am always very glad to leave :)

Zen Arado: big cities suit me better now

Bleu Oleander: I lived there for a number of years

Zen Arado: plenty of things to go and see

    Zen Arado: an exciting place

    Wol Euler: hello sharon

    Bleu Oleander: hi sharon

    Liza Deischer: hi Sharon

    Zen Arado: hi Sharon:)

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hiya ssl

    Bleu Oleander: brb

    SophiaSharon Larnia drinks her tea

Wol Euler: I can'T believe that it's friday at 1:28 and we haven't yet had any silliness.

    Wol Euler: slackers.

    SophiaSharon Larnia: O.o

    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)

    Wol Euler: onigokko

SophiaSharon Larnia: omg the music frightened my cats!

    SophiaSharon Larnia: hahaha

    Wol Euler: heheheheh

    Wol Euler: poor kitties

SophiaSharon Larnia: the volume was up high :))

    Liza Deischer: hmm

Yakuzza Lethecus: we need more toys to create an orchestra of crazyness :)

Liza Deischer: , I'll have a look on the map

SophiaSharon Larnia: vroom there they goes

    Wol Euler: :)

    --BELL--

    Wol Euler: stop

    Wol Euler: :)

Liza Deischer: you're yellow on my map

    Liza Deischer: how odd

SophiaSharon Larnia: just in the nick of time eh

SophiaSharon Larnia: yellow is friend dot in emerald

    Zen Arado: yes

Zen Arado: Liza disappeared from my friends list

Zen Arado: and I am still on hers

Zen Arado: and she is coming up as a green dot

Wol Euler: there was another server software update on wednesday, odd things always happen for a few days after that

    Zen Arado: ah ok

Liza Deischer: so maybe we should wait a ittle

SophiaSharon Larnia: my experience is so odd i dont notice odd

    Wol Euler: heh

Liza Deischer: I can't add Zen as friend anyore

Wol Euler: then he still is one, but the server hasn't told your viewer

    Wol Euler: ty zen :)

Wol Euler: I always forget to do that :)

    SophiaSharon Larnia: ty!

Yakuzza Lethecus: how was gaya's object called ?

    Yakuzza Lethecus: Chokoreito Disco

Wol Euler: I confuse the RL fact with the SL status

SophiaSharon Larnia: me too Wol :)

SophiaSharon Larnia: oooh Yaku nice moves!

Yakuzza Lethecus: not even lost a drop of my tea

    Wol Euler: hehehe

    SophiaSharon Larnia: heheh

Wol Euler: nice to be able to switch off gravity here

Zen Arado: didn't see Bleu go

Yakuzza Lethecus: she wanted to come back

Wol Euler: so she had to leave first :)

SophiaSharon Larnia: id have to think abouyt that, but its too nice outside to think

Yakuzza Lethecus: so did you all have a good week ?

    Wol Euler: :)

    Zen Arado: let's not think

Wol Euler: I had a workish week, pretty strenuous actually

SophiaSharon Larnia: surprisingly well, ty :)

    Wol Euler: and you?

    Zen Arado: pretty average

Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, i also consider it pretty average

Zen Arado: try not to be judgemental about my weeks

Zen Arado: if it's not bad it's good

    Wol Euler nods.

Zen Arado: and if it's bad it's still good

    Wol Euler: :)

Wol Euler: as Groucho Marx said about sex :)))

    Zen Arado: true

    SophiaSharon Larnia: grins

    Zen Arado: scared to comment

    Wol Euler: heheheh

SophiaSharon Larnia: ok the cats peep suspiciously at the table and settle back in....

    Wol Euler smiles.

    Zen Arado: how many cats?

    SophiaSharon Larnia: 2

    Zen Arado: nice pets

Yakuzza Lethecus: just for them not to be alone when ur on shift ?

SophiaSharon Larnia: hope i dont turn into one of 'those ladies' one of these days ^^

    Wol Euler: heh

    Yakuzza Lethecus: doris day ?

    Wol Euler: cat ladies

SophiaSharon Larnia: yes that was the idea Yaku, and the first one was getting so fat

Zen Arado: I have a RL friend with 2 cats

Wol Euler: my parents lived next to one for a while, or rather they had a neighbour who turned into one

    SophiaSharon Larnia: grins at Yaku

SophiaSharon Larnia: turned into a cat???

Zen Arado: she had 5 but 3 died recently

Wol Euler: when the SPCA finally came, there were 28 of them in a small house.

    SophiaSharon Larnia: omg

    Wol Euler: yeah

SophiaSharon Larnia: thats kind of eww

Wol Euler: the smell was ... intense.

SophiaSharon Larnia: erase kind of then

    Wol Euler: yeah

Wol Euler: she slipped through a crack in the ice, as it were

    SophiaSharon Larnia: nods

Wol Euler: and in the big city there's often nobody around to pull you back out of the water

SophiaSharon Larnia: and the water can be very cold

    --BELL--

    Wol Euler: mmhmm

SophiaSharon Larnia: its that sort of thing that makes it hard for me to think about 'reality'

    Wol Euler nods.

SophiaSharon Larnia: even though I beleive it is a story we write, it is right there

SophiaSharon Larnia: contemplative topics become a way to escape then

    Yakuzza Lethecus: no

Yakuzza Lethecus: they'll never an escape

Yakuzza Lethecus: it's to drop and to change the perspective on whats there

Yakuzza Lethecus: at least from my point of view

SophiaSharon Larnia: i appreciate that point of view :)

Liza Deischer: everything can be used as an escape I'm afraid

    Wol Euler: mmhmm

Liza Deischer: but things used well, aren't an escape

    Zen Arado: agree with Yaku

Zen Arado: we can either change the world or adapt to it

Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, i also don't change my perspective on things when i come here habitually at least not very often but i define that as the main purpuse and goal

Zen Arado: the second is a lot easier

    Wol Euler nods.

Yakuzza Lethecus: so dropping for me means disassociating negative elements of the picture

SophiaSharon Larnia: or in some cases, disregard it altogether

    Yakuzza Lethecus: or retarding elaments

    Yakuzza Lethecus: elements

Zen Arado: or seeing the falseness of our interpretation

    Zen Arado: our silly ego

Liza Deischer: hmmmm, disregarding might not be the rigt word here

    SophiaSharon Larnia: no its not

SophiaSharon Larnia: well, it was for what i meant, but i think you're talking about something else

SophiaSharon Larnia: something more positive :)

    Liza Deischer: coud be

Zen Arado: getting a better grasp of reality through sitting in SL :)

    Zen Arado: so weird

    Wol Euler: heheheheh

    Zen Arado: pinches himself

    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: exploring reality with virtual worlds

Yakuzza Lethecus is stealing a bit from kira :P

    Wol Euler: is true, though

Zen Arado: it is only an enabling medium

Zen Arado: a telephone is a virtual device too

Zen Arado: but we never think about that

    --BELL--

Zen Arado: it's not a real voice we hear is it?

Wol Euler: do you hear voices?

    Wol Euler: oh, the telephone.

Zen Arado: yes - on the phone

Wol Euler: god, that was a long 90 seconds :)

Wol Euler: I completely lost the context

    SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs

    Zen Arado: an electronic voice

    Liza Deischer: :-)

Zen Arado: novels are unreal too

Zen Arado: a stroy mad up in someone's head

Wol Euler: they are unreal, but they are true. At least, the good ones are true

Zen Arado: and just black type

Yakuzza Lethecus: i already watch so much fiction so i try when i read to go more into the non fiction

Zen Arado: imagine creating a big story out of a few black squiggles on a piece of paper

    SophiaSharon Larnia: amazing

Zen Arado: the Victorians used to say the sme things about novels they say about SL

Zen Arado: people living in fantasy worlds

    Wol Euler: reprehensible.

Wol Euler: the downfall of etc

    SophiaSharon Larnia: giggles

    Zen Arado: yes

Yakuzza Lethecus: thats why they burned ppl writing the wrong kinda books :)

    Zen Arado: especially Chas Dickens

Zen Arado: people couldn't wait to get the next installment of 'Little Nell'

    Zen Arado: etc

    Wol Euler nods.

Yakuzza Lethecus sneaks into his bed

    Yakuzza Lethecus: good night everyone

Wol Euler: bye yaku, sleep well

    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Yaku :)

    Zen Arado: Bleus Back

    SophiaSharon Larnia: brb

    Zen Arado: bye Yaku

    Liza Deischer: bye Yaku

    Zen Arado: WB Bleu

Bleu Oleander: sry RL gets in the way sometimes :)

    Wol Euler: :)

    Wol Euler: wb

Zen Arado: that RL is just a fantasy

    Zen Arado: :)

    Zen Arado: better stay here

    Wol Euler: mmhnmmn

    Bleu Oleander: :)

    Zen Arado: nicer people here

    Zen Arado: most of them

Wol Euler: the percentage is higher, yes

Wol Euler: and the average interestingness is *far* higher

    Bleu Oleander: in sl?

    Wol Euler: mmhmm

Wol Euler: well compared to my RL anyway

    Wol Euler: YMMV

Bleu Oleander: haven't found that to be true for me

Wol Euler: you must have a pretty buzzing RL then :)

    Bleu Oleander: yes :)

Zen Arado: have to own up I don;t know what YMMV means

Liza Deischer: and found all the right friends :-)

Wol Euler: Your Mileage May Vary (car ads)

    Bleu Oleander: disclaimer

    Zen Arado: ah ok

Liza Deischer: because if I look at the square kilometer I'm living on, I don't find many poeple with kid of the same interest

    Wol Euler nods.

SophiaSharon Larnia: bye for now all :)) need to check on something in the village, have fun :)

    Zen Arado: true

Wol Euler: bye sharon, take care

    SophiaSharon Larnia: you too :)

    Bleu Oleander: bye sharon

    Zen Arado: bye Sharon

    Liza Deischer: bye Sharon

Liza Deischer: (that was for the record I suppose)

Zen Arado: I better go too

    Liza Deischer: bye Zen

Zen Arado: want to work on my new land a bit

    Wol Euler: :)

    Liza Deischer: have fun

Wol Euler: enjoy, Zen. happy gardening

    Bleu Oleander: bye Zen

    --BELL--

    Bleu Oleander: have fun

    Zen Arado: bye

Bleu Oleander: a quiet friday at PaB?

Wol Euler: only had one onigokko so far :)

    Bleu Oleander: ha!

Liza Deischer: I'm not wearing it

Wol Euler: we must all be really tired.

    Bleu Oleander: no maracas today?

Wol Euler: well, I will if you will :)

Liza Deischer: not for me thanks :-)

Bleu Oleander: I forget how to start it

Wol Euler: you hvae to waer them

    Wol Euler: bah

    Bleu Oleander: manbo!

    Wol Euler cheers

Bleu Oleander: great outfit for this Wol!

    Wol Euler: yeah!

Liza Deischer: Yaku ones came in with that music in the morning :-)

Liza Deischer: I coud shoot him (not really of course)

    Wol Euler: heheheheh

Bleu Oleander: you might need custom maracas

Wol Euler: yes, feathery black ones

Wol Euler: or leather and lace :)

    Bleu Oleander: exactly

    Wol Euler grins

Bleu Oleander: by next week :)

    Wol Euler: done

    Liza Deischer: :-)

    Bleu Oleander: :)

Bleu Oleander: do you see my "slow motion" or only me?

Wol Euler: looks ok to me, we are moving at the same rate

Bleu Oleander: I set it to slow motion .... kinda fun

Liza Deischer: looks good to me too

Bleu Oleander: now I feel better ... fridays are just not the same without maracas!

    Wol Euler smiles

Wol Euler: I am considering how to do onigokko or manbo in RL in the october retreat

    Liza Deischer: hahahah

Bleu Oleander: worth the price of admission!

    Wol Euler: mmhmm :)

Liza Deischer: I'm not sure people want to look like that in rl :-)))

Bleu Oleander: ship the maracas ahead of time

Wol Euler: oh, I disagree Liza :)

    Liza Deischer: I know

Bleu Oleander: probably more fun in rl

Wol Euler: I think that it I were able to have the music and the space available, and just start it going, everyone would jump in

    Bleu Oleander: (remembering college parties)

Liza Deischer: in the right mood, yesss

Bleu Oleander: need a good outfit :)

Bleu Oleander: bring the feathers with you!

    Wol Euler: heh

Wol Euler: that would be tricky :)

    Bleu Oleander: but fun

    Wol Euler: oh yes

Bleu Oleander: well that's probably enough for me ....

    Bleu Oleander: stop

    --BELL--

    Bleu Oleander: good timing :)

    Wol Euler: indeed :)

    Liza Deischer: :_)

Bleu Oleander: gtg have fun :)

    Bleu Oleander: enjoy the weekend!

    Liza Deischer: bye bleu

    Bleu Oleander: bye

    Bleu Oleander: take care

Wol Euler: bye bleu, take care

Liza Deischer: you really looked like you were tired :-))

    Wol Euler: heheh

Wol Euler: it's easier to hide here

    Liza Deischer: yep

    Liza Deischer: free day tomorrow?

Wol Euler: no, a short half-day, four hours or so

Wol Euler: sunday about six or seven

Wol Euler: which counts as a long half day

Liza Deischer: do you have free days at all?

    Wol Euler: heh

Wol Euler: once in a while, yes

    Liza Deischer: Monday I belief

Wol Euler: last monday was a holiday, yes

Liza Deischer: once in a while

Liza Deischer: you must love your job :-)

Wol Euler: I try to get a day off each week

Wol Euler: most weeks it works

Wol Euler: and yes, I do

Liza Deischer: yes, you told me about it

Liza Deischer: toay I hade a small platform falling donw from 1000 meters

    Wol Euler: aha?

Liza Deischer: I found it in the trees

Liza Deischer: too bad I didn't take a picture of that :-)

Wol Euler: could you fall again?

Liza Deischer: thanks to physics in sl

    Wol Euler: :)

Liza Deischer: the platform you mean

    Wol Euler: jmmhmm

Liza Deischer: yes, probably I don't have the rights to make a platform

Liza Deischer: so the owner did for me

    Wol Euler: ah

Liza Deischer: but I didn't build quite on it

Liza Deischer: but it seemed to be stable

Liza Deischer: then I rezzed a new prim

Liza Deischer: and saw eveything disappear :-)

Wol Euler: was it sent back to you?

Liza Deischer: except for a few items that weren't linked

Liza Deischer: no I went down and couldn't find it

Liza Deischer: until I saw something strange in the corner of my eyes

    Liza Deischer: :-)0

    Wol Euler: :)

Liza Deischer: so I took it back

Liza Deischer: you ever build that high?

    Wol Euler: no

Wol Euler: I'm too lazy :)

Wol Euler: I'Ve flown that high before, it took ages to get back down to the ground

    Liza Deischer: no you're not

Liza Deischer: you have other priorities

Liza Deischer: it depends what you use

Liza Deischer: normally it is nice to build that hight

    Liza Deischer: no-one around

    Liza Deischer: no lag

    Wol Euler: :)

Liza Deischer: but today all sorts of things went wrong :-)

Liza Deischer: one of the anims don't want to work at that level

Liza Deischer: never had that before

Wol Euler: I've heard that odd things happen, yes, physics oddities

    Wol Euler: even body misshaping

Wol Euler: though you have to be very high indeed for that

Liza Deischer: yes, you don't get that at 1000 meters

Liza Deischer: I don't know how high you can go

Liza Deischer: somebody told me he had been to 10,000 meters

Liza Deischer: 2000 is the highest I have been

    --BELL--

Liza Deischer: a friend of mine has a platform that high

Wol Euler: I should try that some time :)

Liza Deischer: you have been building right ?

    Wol Euler: small stuff, yes

Wol Euler: a beach tent in mugunghwa, the dance hall here

Liza Deischer: ah yes, the dance hall

    Liza Deischer: hi Lucinda

Liza Deischer: it is a pitty it is hardly used

    Wol Euler: hello lucinda

    Lucinda Lavender: oops...so sorry Liza

    Liza Deischer: np :-)

Wol Euler: yes, I think so too. But what can you do?

Lucinda Lavender: I crahsed this morning.

    Lucinda Lavender: from that spot.

Wol Euler: perhaps if it were better built

    Wol Euler: wow

Liza Deischer: no I think it has got something to do with the village

    Liza Deischer: no one around

    Liza Deischer: no people talking

    Liza Deischer: or meeting

Liza Deischer: it needs some spicing up :-)

    Wol Euler: mmhmm

Liza Deischer: but it is hard to say how

Liza Deischer: the art project gave some liveliness

Liza Deischer: are you okay Luci, you can sit down if you want too :-)

    Lucinda Lavender: thanks...

    Liza Deischer: talking about physics

Liza Deischer: I once want to get up with a friend in a balloon

Lucinda Lavender: oops...I guess I have to go...sorry.

    Wol Euler: heh

Liza Deischer: fillling it with smaller, lighter balloons

Wol Euler: bye lucinda, take care

    Liza Deischer: bye Luci :-)

Liza Deischer: to get up to a platform of 1000 meters

    Lucinda Lavender: bye gee thanks

Liza Deischer: but there was something in the way

    Wol Euler: huh

Liza Deischer: and after a lot of effort we got past it

Liza Deischer: but falling down again because we didn't have enough lighter balloons left

Liza Deischer: in the end we spent half an hour only to crash on the ground

Liza Deischer: bu we had a lot of fun :-))))

    Wol Euler: wow

Liza Deischer: so instead we used an lm :-)

Liza Deischer: I suddenly start babbling :-)

    Wol Euler: bah

    Wol Euler: not babbling.

Wol Euler: this is what friends do, it's called "talking" :)

    Liza Deischer: oh :-))

    Liza Deischer: thanks

Wol Euler: you are doing more than me, because I'm tired as hell

Wol Euler: but it's basically the same thing :)

Liza Deischer: you can get up later tomorrow?

    Wol Euler: I could but I won't.

Wol Euler: my wakeup time is hardcoded

Wol Euler: I get up just before nine at the latest, no matter how tired I am or when I went to bed

    Liza Deischer: yes, I understand

Liza Deischer: you're body is used to it

Liza Deischer: a bit of a nuisance I guess

    Wol Euler: mmhmm :)

Liza Deischer: I still need to get used to the new me

    Wol Euler smiles

Wol Euler: do you catch a glimpse of yourself and think "who's that?"

    --BELL--

    Liza Deischer: thinking .....

Liza Deischer: not qute, but I miss something

Liza Deischer: I guess it feels like I have grown up

    Wol Euler: :)

Liza Deischer: so it is more a different feeling that strikes me

Liza Deischer: and she looks so serious :-)))

    Wol Euler: yes, she does

Wol Euler: did you change the shape at all?

Liza Deischer: not yet, just bought it before I came here

Liza Deischer: the darker skin had something naughty

Liza Deischer: still like that one

    Wol Euler: mmhmm

Liza Deischer: but somehow it feels like a big step

    Liza Deischer: strange

Wol Euler: go with that feeling

    Liza Deischer: yes, you're right

Wol Euler: it's as true as any other that you have here

Liza Deischer: but it is interesting though :-)

    Wol Euler: oh yes :)

    Wol Euler yawns

Wol Euler: I'm sorry, I must get to bed.

Liza Deischer: yes, you need to go to sleep and so do I

    Wol Euler: mmhmm

    Liza Deischer: sleep well Wol

Wol Euler: goodngiht, liza, take care

    Wol Euler: sleep well

    Wol Euler: bye for now

    Liza Deischer: bye :-)
