Lucinda Lavender: there is a certain energy when friendships are new perhaps...when one feels potential

Lucinda Lavender: and one character would hold a child and teach her to say "I am kind, I am smart...and one more thing I happen to forget at the moment
Lucinda Lavender: I was impressed that this teaching by a caregiver would last for the childs life
Lucinda Lavender: some sort of beauty in it
Lucinda Lavender: like teaching a basic truth
Lucinda Lavender: to put knowlege of potential inside

Lucinda Lavender: when I was younger I had the experience of listening to certain music a lot...it felt like it was a sad experience...

Lucinda Lavender: and later I learned the song was called Evacuee
Lucinda Lavender: and about some one leaving a parent
Korel Laloix: Not a fan of hers.... Just not my sytle of music.
Korel Laloix: Will find it though at home.
Lucinda Lavender: did not know it for quite some time...but when I did learn that I realized that was why it pulled on the emotions for me
Lucinda Lavender: I had to say good bye to a parent at several times in my life
Korel Laloix: Those connections are hard.
Lucinda Lavender: so...it worked for m as a geting in touch with memory kind of thing

Lucinda Lavender: felt all clear about it after a while
Korel Laloix: There are a few songs that hold special memories for me.
Lucinda Lavender: oddly I rarely listen to music anymore
Korel Laloix: I alwasy have music on when I am doing homework or running.
Lucinda Lavender: I think I needed to remember and let go of certain stuf perhaps
Alfred Kelberry: sound and smell are very prominent in our memory
Alfred Kelberry: can bind long forgotten events
