Raffila Millgrove: doesn't take too long to pass a lot of sad news back and forth. goes pretty quickly. RAffi sighs.

Raffila Millgrove: and what can you say on these things? nothing new or insightful to say...
Raffila Millgrove: no big..opportunity to grow somehow.. when you lose people you loved.

Raffila Millgrove: i think they do too steve.

Raffila Millgrove: the memories living on. i think they even live on in strangers. that you touch someone.. and it's so important that it ends up in their genetic memory.
stevenaia Michinaga: you may give much to yourself, but the gifts to others is what is important
Raffila Millgrove: it's true. you give of yourself to others constantly. .. without even knowing now important ti might be to the other person.
stevenaia Michinaga: for instance... a short story....
stevenaia Michinaga: an old High School friend drove 2 hours to attend the service at my mother's house last night
stevenaia Michinaga: I have seen her maybe once a year or even last in the past 10 years and thought it was very kind of her to join us
stevenaia Michinaga: her father, who is deceased, made commercials
stevenaia Michinaga: my father was an actor in his spare time
stevenaia Michinaga: she recently found a video take of my father in a commercial her dad made in the 70's
stevenaia Michinaga: and will be digitizing it for us
stevenaia Michinaga: :)

Raffila Millgrove: she must have come to honor.. the connection between your two dads..as well as between you and her.

Raffila Millgrove: yes. it's always interesting to .. hear people tell why they came to a certain service. in our church everyone has a chance if they like to say something.. and the things that are said.. so unique and sometimes surprising. touching and personal.
stevenaia Michinaga: even sad event bring positive things from others along with all the sympaty I have received
Raffila Millgrove: I didn't know that men would cry and love each other so much and say it in public.. until i attended some services of certain men.. who inspired others like that.
stevenaia Michinaga: words can move so many people
Raffila Millgrove: i didn't really know that men would care.. emotionally.. as much as they can.
Raffila Millgrove: i grew up and surrounded by men who rarely show much emotion. so these experiences were a revelation to me.

Raffila Millgrove: the sun set.. while we were sitting here steve. it was very beautiful. it's kind of ridiculous how many sunrise-sunset i have photo'd from SL on my hard drive--but they can be so intense.. on my wide screen. to watch. sometimes i spend hours just watching the daylight change on my land.
stevenaia Michinaga: never spent the time here watching that, are each unique?
Raffila Millgrove: i love the sky. at my rl house--i have huge sky view--all across.. over 180 degree of amazing view. everyone always just so suprised.. because i don't live high in hills. only a few blocks to get down to little town.
Raffila Millgrove: oh YES YES
Raffila Millgrove: each one.. is so unique.
Raffila Millgrove: let me give you the LM to my land.
Raffila Millgrove: i have chairs set up by the sea.. to get the best sunset view. and sunrise is best from the play ground or pond areas.

Raffila Millgrove: you have to have your settings.. (not draw) up high. and also.. set for lighting--regional default.
Raffila Millgrove: one time here in SL.. i had this baby. and i spent the night before baby was born.. up on my roof garden.. just watching the sky...

Raffila Millgrove: we get four days.. to each sl day.

Raffila Millgrove: you had to go in person.. and the stores would give you most lovely. high quality gifts.. just for coming to see them.
