    Actually, a Riddle was present last night when it happened and read the email exchanges (funny), so was not surprised by it.

    Lucinda Lavender: well I think the state is not running with much money...they are asking for federal help to clean up the ocean beaches from the sunami wreckage...
    Lucinda Lavender: it has been coming in the last month
    Lucinda Lavender: or so
    Alfred Kelberry: ouch
    Alfred Kelberry: does it happen each season?
    Lucinda Lavender: the budgets had been trimmed
    Lucinda Lavender: don't know about seasons of wreckage
    Lucinda Lavender: it took this long is all I know
    Lucinda Lavender: they are wondering how to deal with it all
    Alfred Kelberry: any impact on you due to the budget cuts?
    Lucinda Lavender: I am sure...

    Lucinda Lavender: my husband has doubled the garden tho
    Alfred Kelberry: ok, good. no chicken taxes so far :)

    Lucinda Lavender: I meant that I am so busy I do not focus on the politics
    Alfred Kelberry: ok, but careful. one day the politics may decide to focus on you :)

    Lucinda Lavender: actuall this is typical for June
    Riddle Sideways: but, their site does not have today's story
         The San Jose Mercury is a pretty good newpaper and really great at web presence.  It is very strange that today's front page interest article is not the same on the website.  The front page has a 6 photo series over the years and stripping that is just not on the website.
