Agatha Macbeth: I never understood bridge
Wol Euler: well, you get on at one side and walk to the other
    Agatha Macbeth thwops you
    Wol Euler laughs.
Agatha Macbeth: Bridge over troubled water maybe
Qt Core: :-) tried it a little, never liked the part where you don't play
Agatha Macbeth: Hm, I don't get the auction bit
Wol Euler: it seems very complicated to me, I never cared enough to to more than watch for a few minutes
Wol Euler: when I was a kid, there was a regular bridge column in the newspaper
Agatha Macbeth: Mahjong is bad enough to get your head round
Wol Euler: describing a game in full detail, each round, with commentary
Qt Core: and all those tiles...
    Agatha Macbeth: Wow
Wol Euler: apparently enough people read it that it was worth writing
Agatha Macbeth: I still prefer chess
Qt Core: many puzzles magazine still have bridges and chess columns
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder when the next world championship is?
Qt Core: wondering when they'll start having poker column ;-)

Wol Euler: you might like "Maverick" then, some poker in that

Wol Euler: so something for eveyrone
Agatha Macbeth: No Steve McQueen tho
    Agatha Macbeth: Or Edward G
    Wol Euler: can't have everything
Qt Core: instead of bridge i love "briscola chiamata": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Briscol...scola_Chiamata (a variation of the classic Briscola game)
Agatha Macbeth: Hm, never heard of that one
Agatha Macbeth: Those look like tarot cards
    Wol Euler looks
Qt Core: those are quite an artistic set of Naples cards
Agatha Macbeth: Forty card deck eh? Interesting
Qt Core: almost every region has its set around here

Agatha Macbeth: Sounds quite an active life
Hana Furlough: yeah, they're busy birds
Qt Core: i find city pigeons a little scary, like when they don't fear cars moving over them

Agatha Macbeth: They are very bold
    Agatha Macbeth: Snap
