Eos Amaterasu sits in the forest

    --BELL--

Eos Amaterasu: Being: fluid or static?

    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: hiya eos how are you
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi Paradise
Eos Amaterasu: Nice to sit in the woods :-)
    Paradise Tennant: yes
    Paradise Tennant: very nice indeed

    2013-05-29_Eos_Paradise.png

    Eos Amaterasu: Hi druth
    Paradise Tennant: hiya druth
    druth Vlodovic: hi guys
druth Vlodovic: we're floating in the mystic arboreal
    Eos Amaterasu: HI Korel
    Paradise Tennant: hiya korel
    druth Vlodovic: hi Korel

    2013-05-29_druth_Eos_Korel_Paradise.png

druth Vlodovic: is this someplace real?
Eos Amaterasu: being: fluid or static?
    Eos Amaterasu ponders that question
    Korel Laloix: heya
    Lucinda Lavender: Heya!
    Lucinda Lavender: beautiful forest!
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi Luci
    Paradise Tennant: hiya luci
druth Vlodovic: Lucinda flows into reality
Lucinda Lavender: this is just a brief stop for me...
druth Vlodovic: and becomes temporarily static to us
    Lucinda Lavender: into reality:)
druth Vlodovic: briefly temporarily static :)
Korel Laloix: Can we have a nice grassland picture sometime please?
Korel Laloix: Much better than an oppressive forest... smiles
    Eos Amaterasu: !
    druth Vlodovic: lol
druth Vlodovic: it's all in the mind
Korel Laloix: I derezzed it, so all is better.
    Korel Laloix smiles
druth Vlodovic: I prefer city nightscapes, a time and place many find oppressive
Eos Amaterasu: give Korel a home, where the buffalo roam
Korel Laloix: So you all do not feel closed in and claustrophobic in a bunch of trees?
Korel Laloix: That sounds great to me.
Eos Amaterasu: au contraire, often feel protected, and in the web of life
druth Vlodovic: forests are both open and closed
Lucinda Lavender: actually I have somewhat the opposite feeling in big empty landscape
Korel Laloix: Interesting... but I think I can see how that woule be possible.
Paradise Tennant: is very fond of trees
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Korel Laloix: Vast emptyness can be very ecompasing.
druth Vlodovic: but perhaps i would feel oppressed in a truly open plain, though the ocean didn't give me that feeling
    Lucinda Lavender: yes!
Korel Laloix: I like solitary trees.. but they are like dogs.. when they gang up.. they can come accross as dangerous.
Lucinda Lavender: when one walks in a big wood...it feels like it goes on forever but at a clsose distance
druth Vlodovic: the closer you look the more you see
Lucinda Lavender: I walked once 3/4 of the way around Mount Rainer...
druth Vlodovic: but then the same can be said of the farther out you look
Lucinda Lavender: perhaps it is the appearance of sameness in either place
    Lucinda Lavender: muchness
Korel Laloix: Not sure... but I would go for exploring that.
Lucinda Lavender: many trees, and logs across the path...and many grassy hils
Korel Laloix: Trees seem to reach out to grab you... grasses just let you pass.
Lucinda Lavender: :) I get that
Korel Laloix: And that freaks me out... probably the same reason i dont' let people hug me.
Paradise Tennant: trees are musical instruments like grasses :)) they play the wind
Lucinda Lavender: I focus more on the trunk of the tree
druth Vlodovic: perhaps some feel that the trees reach out and grab what might threaten them
Korel Laloix: yes, but grasses are millions of voices in harmony.. trees are just thousands.
Korel Laloix: yes, tha tis how I feel druth.
Korel Laloix: I am sort of like the dwarf in LorRings.. I love that line... "tree infested"... lol
    druth Vlodovic: lol
Korel Laloix: Silly movies but fun.
druth Vlodovic: I wonder if our environmental prefernces might mirror our approaches to life and danger
Eos Amaterasu: the plains of your mind, the forests of your mind, cornucopia of life troping
Korel Laloix: I think that likely.
    Korel Laloix: life troping?
Eos Amaterasu: as in tropism, intending toward the sun, or water

    --BELL--

    Korel Laloix looks it up
Lucinda Lavender: Luci must quietly move out of this lovely forest...it reminds me of camping, the smell of a forest, the sounds, cocoa, campfire smoke. I send you all a pleasant thought:)
Korel Laloix: yes, thought that is what you meant.
Lucinda Lavender: and bye for now dear people:)
    Korel Laloix: ciao bella
    druth Vlodovic: have fun Luci
    Eos Amaterasu: ciao luci
druth Vlodovic: do you trope life a lot?
Eos Amaterasu: like that film studio, American Zoetrope
    Eos Amaterasu: zoe: life
    Paradise Tennant: nite nite luci
Eos Amaterasu: the plains have a huge sky
Korel Laloix: No idea on that one.
Korel Laloix: yes.. and that huge sky is open and welcoming.
Eos Amaterasu: Did you grow up in such an environment, Korel?
Paradise Tennant: smiles sleepily think I wil lhave to say thank you and sweet dreams :)) eyes are getting heavy :)
    Eos Amaterasu: 'nite
    Paradise Tennant: namaste my friends
    Korel Laloix: namaskar
    druth Vlodovic: 'night para
Korel Laloix: Yes.. the open fields of Oklhaoma are my home.
Korel Laloix: The national grasslands are some of my favorite places that I have been.

druth Vlodovic: I've been trying to grow blueberries for years
    Korel Laloix: No success?
druth Vlodovic: gave them soil, water, blueberry friends
druth Vlodovic: turned out they wanted sandy soil
Korel Laloix: yes.. some shrubs can be very picky.
druth Vlodovic: with the wrong environmental conditions my efforts were meaningless, or even counter-productive
druth Vlodovic: humans like to think (or did in the past) that we are higher than animals
Korel Laloix: And sometimes it just takes trial and error.
druth Vlodovic: suggesting that we are immune to our own animality
Hana Furlough: 's current display-name is "Hana".
    Korel Laloix: heya Hana
druth Vlodovic: which often gets termed our humanity lol
    druth Vlodovic: hi hana
    Eos Amaterasu: hi Hana!
Hana Furlough: Hi Korel, Druth, Eos
    Hana Furlough: nice trees

Korel Laloix: I thinik supresion of our instincts is both over done and under done.. depending on the instinct.
druth Vlodovic: which instincts do you choose to develop?
Korel Laloix: I try to listen to my body for nutritional needs.
Korel Laloix: And i always make sure there is some chocolate near by... smiles
druth Vlodovic: I was listening to the radio, felow mentioning that the obesity "epidemic"in the US is likely due to them getting the least amount of sleep
druth Vlodovic: using calories to replace energy that sleep should supply
druth Vlodovic: altering their environments in an unhealthy manner
Korel Laloix: nThere are lots of things about US society that I do not get at all.
Korel Laloix: That is one of them.
Eos Amaterasu: yeah, there's listening to your body, and listening to your psychic hunger overlaying your body
Korel Laloix: But from an epidemiolgical point of view... the term Obese is political here, not medical.
Eos Amaterasu: US also has big cars
Hana Furlough: it seems like it's really a different relationship with food
druth Vlodovic: my one friend often climbs mountains and hikes for fun,and gets measured as obese because muscles are heavier than fat lol

    --BELL--

Korel Laloix: I am not sure about that one.. .in rural areas maybe, but in general, you see minis and compacts all over the place.
druth Vlodovic: I like to blame rules-based living
Korel Laloix: The bad thing here is that you can get a box of fake macaroni and cheese for 75cents.. but a pound of greebeans cost you a few bucks.
druth Vlodovic: lol, economic reality as well
Korel Laloix: And on the reservations, they give us cheap crap food to keep us happy.
druth Vlodovic: but having passed 40 I find myself constantly fighting between eating habits and easting needs
Korel Laloix: Socialism is the tool that white people use to keep us servile and it works very well indeed.
druth Vlodovic: it works well on whits too
    Eos Amaterasu: socialism?
    Korel Laloix: Socialism
druth Vlodovic: socialism is often turned into a promotion of dependence upon infrastructure, authority and others
druth Vlodovic: if you act in a random manner you are "good" and get artificial rewards
druth Vlodovic: so the direct law of consequences gets lost
    Korel Laloix: Exaclty.
Eos Amaterasu: direct law of consequences: karma?
    Hana Furlough: * )
druth Vlodovic: if you do this that results
    Hana Furlough: err : )
    druth Vlodovic: for instance
druth Vlodovic: people who are selfish often gain wealth
druth Vlodovic: due to current infrastructure
druth Vlodovic: but because peple are people, and being selfish changes you, such people often die friendless
    Korel Laloix: Or with worhipers.
druth Vlodovic: wondering why everyone else is so mean to them
druth Vlodovic: it takes a lot of dissonance (or drugs) to make yourself believe that worshippers are friends, over the long haul
druth Vlodovic: and the idea of Karma is that it is over the long haul
Korel Laloix: Yes.. but to teh average sociopath that we elect, they do not care about friends. just power.
Eos Amaterasu: facebook friends as status
Korel Laloix: Another reason I am glad i do not have a page there.
druth Vlodovic: one of many problems with democracy is that it promotes short term views
druth Vlodovic: mind you, fiscal quarters have the same effect in industry, which is certainly not democratic
Korel Laloix: True, but other models have their own issues.
Eos Amaterasu: democracy is pretty rare
druth Vlodovic: we have chosen an environment of "now" partly based on the illusions of constant threat
Eos Amaterasu: we've forgotten how to listen, to our bodies, to ourselves, to each other
Korel Laloix: Not sure it is an illusion though.. there are things that do threaten us for sure.... like the flu.
    Eos Amaterasu: tornadoes
    Korel Laloix: Tornadoes are micor
Korel Laloix: Viruses have the demonstrated potential to be macro
druth Vlodovic: but is the threat constant?
    Korel Laloix: I think so.

    --BELL--

Korel Laloix: But I might be biased.
druth Vlodovic: a lot of our current threats are due to our own over-reactions to perceived threats
Korel Laloix: That is a very arguable point of view.
Eos Amaterasu: we play the games of kill or cure, for me or against me
druth Vlodovic: we worry worry worry
Eos Amaterasu: we're afraid of potential loneliness of not playing that way
    Hana Furlough: yes
Korel Laloix: It would be better to just get along for sure... but very easy words to say.
druth Vlodovic: killing ourselves avoiding harm
Eos Amaterasu: get real, more than get along
Eos Amaterasu: when you know you are going to die, what is the threat?
Korel Laloix: Bu then agaain, there are people that find us threatening enough to want to impose their will on us.. and have said so very clearly and repeatidly.
druth Vlodovic: mainly because they have been filled with mind-numbing fear by those offering false threats
Korel Laloix: And all too often the idea of tollerance and taking the higher road is just and excuse for moral cowardace.
Hana Furlough: i hate to run, but i ought to get back to work
    Korel Laloix: Ciao.
Hana Furlough: nice chatting with you all
    Hana Furlough: until next time!
    druth Vlodovic: have fun hana
Korel Laloix: Thanks for the chat...
Eos Amaterasu: time for bed, thank you, good night!
    Korel Laloix: Sweet dreams.
    druth Vlodovic: sweet dreams eos
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
druth Vlodovic: people often seek simple solutions, and thus suspect that somebody saying something contrary to their own statements is disagreeing with them
Korel Laloix: Which can be true..
Korel Laloix: But I have offended a number of people here with my views for sure.
druth Vlodovic: I try to balance this in myself by contradicting myself as often as possible while remaining true to what I think is fact lol
Korel Laloix: I know the feeling.. PaB is good for that really.
druth Vlodovic: until you find at least five reasons for something you haven't really looked, and that is still me being lazy
Korel Laloix: And there are very charged subject that people will not talk about as well.
Korel Laloix: I guess we all have our walls though.
druth Vlodovic: it is nice to talk where answers are not required
    druth Vlodovic: ah well
druth Vlodovic: I become cryptic, which is probably due to a lack of sleep
druth Vlodovic: I purposefully decline to mention the other four reasons ;)
    druth Vlodovic: ttfn Korel
druth Vlodovic: find joy in your plains
    Korel Laloix: Ciao.. smiles
druth Vlodovic: bring them with you some time :)
Korel Laloix: Thanks for the chat.
    Korel Laloix: ... smiles
    Korel Laloix: I will.
