The Guardian for this meeting was Gaya Ethaniel. The comments are by Gaya Ethaniel.

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Gaya :))
Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Eliza :) how are you?
Eliza Madrigal: Well, thanks. Nice to see you
Gaya Ethaniel: Nice to see you too :)
Gaya Ethaniel: I'm just looking up the log to get a summary to pass around.
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh, good idea
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sharon :))
SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Gaya Hi Eliza :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Sharon :)
Gaya Ethaniel making a notecard re: how to.
    Gaya Ethaniel: http://playasbeing.wik.is/Chat_Logs/...A_Dream_Circle
Gaya Ethaniel: Please read a comment added by Lucinda at the bottom.
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah, okay
Eliza Madrigal: I enjoy the way she uses the phrase 'spiraling form to the conversation'
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Zen
Eliza Madrigal: (hope she makes it today without internet trouble, too)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Zen :)
    Zen Arado: Hi All
Eliza Madrigal: I brought just a 'dream image' rather than a whole dream, because other dreams the last few weeks have been too involved or I've worked with them too much already
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Zen :)
Gaya Ethaniel: That makes sense. Let's share what's comes up and comfortable :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: I will make a notecard after the session. So please remember about saying [typing] a person next to you so that we know you've finished etc.
SophiaSharon Larnia: same here Eliza, a dream image, although thats all I remember :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Gaya Ethaniel: I'd like to suggest we go anti-clockwise if ok with you all.
    Eliza Madrigal: Sure
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: who is 12 oclock (first) ;)
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Zen, did you bring a dream or dream image?
Zen Arado: last night I dreamt that my zen teacher was discussing with someone whether or not I was 'getting it' - zen I mean - and he wasn't too sure I wa
    Zen Arado: was *
Gaya Ethaniel: Cool, so after the bell, we start with Zen :) then me then Eliza etc.
Eliza Madrigal: Okay... we're all clear on the structure (just in case Lucinda doesn't make it?)
Zen Arado: thought we had started :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Let's take some time to settle down and do 90 sec.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    --BELL--
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Lucinda
    Lucinda Lavender: all...
Lucinda Lavender: sorry to be late.
Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Lucinda. I IMed her to explain.
Gaya Ethaniel: So please Zen would you mind starting?
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Lucinda :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Take good time :)
    Zen Arado: Hi Lucinda
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Zen Arado: I already posted my first dream
    Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Yakuzza :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Zen - last night I dreamt that my zen teacher was discussing with someone whether or not I was 'getting it' - zen I mean - and he wasn't too sure I wa [06:58] Zen Arado: was *
Gaya Ethaniel: Eliza - please IM Yakuzza to explain?
Gaya Ethaniel assumes Zen typed my name ... here it goes.
    Zen Arado: sorry
Gaya Ethaniel: I went to a patisserie with a friend to buy a chocolate mousse for her father. When she saw a cake wrapped in blue paper on someone’s table, she changed her mind.
Gaya Ethaniel: When we got to the table, people who were there originally had left with the cake was open and half-eaten. It was an orange load cake.
Gaya Ethaniel: Two of her brothers then joined us and insisted that they would like to eat the cake. I looked back at the cake, which was now turned into a chocolate mousse.
Gaya Ethaniel: Now in a clothing shop with the friend, trying out a dress. First she came out in a white satin stripe dress. Her husband conferred with her sister and decided she should wear something more ordinary like a black dress.
Gaya Ethaniel: The second dress she came out in was not black but in gold with lace and pearls. She had this bright smile on her face.
    Gaya Ethaniel: Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you. I brought a dream image rather than an entire dream, which I've shared but not 'interpreted'. I come across a black, liquidy fabric full of 'sea stars' (which I've seen before in a dream)...
Eliza Madrigal: and I settle under it as though someone pulls it over me as a blanket. I feel deep, unimaginable rest and think that I've never rested before.
    Eliza Madrigal: Sharon :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: I remember just a few dream images, I was reading a newspaper and certain text jumped out at me...some of the words were, water, consortium, car, building...
SophiaSharon Larnia: there were more words but perhaps not PC to say here :) Then I remeber putting the paper down, and standing up. Next thing I remember from this dream, I was walking down a busy city street, buying hot dogs at a stand
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Lucinda :)
Lucinda Lavender: The image from the dream is of a hug with my son...I feel a deep connection to him in the hug . It is like a hug that goes from head to toe.
Lucinda Lavender: Now Zen. Start with your image again and we can do a round of this one alone.
    Lucinda Lavender: ..sorry Yaku.
Gaya Ethaniel: Do you have something to share Yaku?
Yakuzza Lethecus: nono its fine :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: i should write down dream images as they appear
Gaya Ethaniel: ok then would you like to make a comment on Zen's dream?
Yakuzza Lethecus: i haven´t got something clearly in mind
Zen Arado: you want me to repost my first image?
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: last night I dreamt that my zen teacher was discussing with someone whether or not I was 'getting it' - zen I mean - and he wasn't too sure I was
    Zen Arado: Gaya
Gaya Ethaniel: Yaku, if you don't have comments you can just say the person's name next to you which is Zen.
Yakuzza Lethecus: sure i pass over
Gaya Ethaniel: [Zen - I think we can comment on own dreams]
Zen Arado: maybe you should have started with someone else sincd \I don't know the form
Gaya Ethaniel: Lucinda - could you clarify if we comment on own dreams or not?
SophiaSharon Larnia: (this is new for us too) :))
    Gaya Ethaniel: mhm :)
Lucinda Lavender: Yes. Actually we do not comment on our own dream
Gaya Ethaniel: ok so my turn :)
Eliza Madrigal: normally at the end?
Lucinda Lavender: we are bring it to the wisdom of the moment
Gaya Ethaniel: ok so no comments on own dreams :)
Lucinda Lavender: yes we can make connections between the dreams at the end
Gaya Ethaniel: After all the rounds right?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
    Gaya Ethaniel: ok
    Lucinda Lavender: after the rounds
Eliza Madrigal: so gaya and everyone would now comment on zen's dream, then gaya's dream...
Gaya Ethaniel: ok got it :)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Eliza Madrigal: (This is fun, not formal but we'll get it! ) hah
    Eliza Madrigal: (now quiet)
    Lucinda Lavender: yess
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Gaya Ethaniel: When I heard Zen's dream, I imagined myself as Zen and felt like a child.
    Gaya Ethaniel: Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: I ask myself, about this dream 'what is getting zen?' and wonder if the dreamer is asking about external validation
    Eliza Madrigal: Sharon
SophiaSharon Larnia: my first thought was, ok not the Zen this teacher is teaching, but is that the only kind and who says its wrong (said awkwardly, maybe you know what I mean)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Lucinda
Lucinda Lavender: I thought about the idea that there may be something to understand that is unexpected...Yaku
Yakuzza Lethecus: passing over to zen since i don´t even know what he dreamt
Zen Arado: I don't comment on my dream?
Lucinda Lavender: no but you can pass to gaya
Zen Arado: ddon't we now comment on Gaya's dream?
Eliza Madrigal: gaya shares her dream again and then yes we comment around the circle
    Zen Arado: ok Gaya?
Gaya Ethaniel: I went to a patisserie with a friend to buy a chocolate mousse for her father. When she saw a cake wrapped in blue paper on someone’s table, she changed her mind. [07:05] Gaya Ethaniel: When we got to the table, people who were there originally had left with the cake was open and half-eaten. It was an orange load cake. [07:06] Gaya Ethaniel: Two of her brothers then joined us and insisted that they would like to eat the cake.
The second dress she came out in was not black but in gold with lace and pearls. She had this bright smile on her face.
    Gaya Ethaniel: Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) What an intricate dream. My first thought was that it reflected a kind of independence in the dreamer's friend... of making distinctions and choices
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Eliza Madrigal: the dreamer is looking at what others tell her she might like or how she might appear, and she isn't arguing but is enjoying her own way of expressing especially in small details
    Eliza Madrigal: Sharon :)
    --BELL--
SophiaSharon Larnia: First thought ....something you dont expect will turm out the way you want it to, and something you do expect will turn out differently than you supposed. Not because of influence from other people, but because it is something that you want. It also occured to me that a white dress is a symbol or purity (or death) and the dress the dreamer wore was not black or white.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Lucinda :)
Lucinda Lavender: It feel like the colors are reflecting kinds of wisdom...and the pearls of it. Black is the Void...Mother...White Ecstasy, Orange Compassion, earls also
Lucinda Lavender: We can wear this widom perhaps...
    Lucinda Lavender: Yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: passing over again
    Yakuzza Lethecus: zen
Zen Arado: To me the dream shows a perhaps feminine faascination in small visual details that contrasts with the more masculine disinterest in these details shown by the brothers j ust wanting to eat the cake
    Zen Arado: :)
    Zen Arado: Gaya
Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Visitor :) Let me introduce this group in IM.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :) Zen
Eliza Madrigal: (may we go one more round with this dream?)
    Lucinda Lavender: llnods
Eliza Madrigal: I was struck by the candy in the beginning, and the sense that regardless of what was left by others, it 'turned into' what was needed
Eliza Madrigal: to me there was a 'time' element to that, and the golden quality of a place of pure distinction... showing up the pearls, resonating with yes'wisdom'
    Eliza Madrigal: Sharon :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: skip
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Lucinda
Lucinda Lavender: There is a transformation quality to what is seen and ias it changes perhaps we are changed...Yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: zen
Zen Arado: there also seems to be a lot of 'changeableness' in the dream and an overconcentration on details that aren't all that important..
    Zen Arado: Gaya
Gaya Ethaniel waits for Eliza to repeat her dream :)
Eliza Madrigal: I am again in the presence of a kind of deep black lake that has shimmery 'sea stars'. this time it is something I can settle deeply into, as though being absorbed in a blanket. It is utterly restful.
    Eliza Madrigal: Sharon
SophiaSharon Larnia: Your dreams brings to mind intentional imagines I have mediatated on as I fall asleep... Itr's interesting to me that you dreamt this :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: Im happy this felt so conforting for you... that restfulness is the feeling of the dream
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Lucinda
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oh lag lol
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Lucinda Lavender: I am stuck by the regenerative feeling that comes with resting in the void so effortlessly. All our mataphors realte some kind of experience that our body experiences as we rest.
    --BELL--
Lucinda Lavender: It is almost like being back in the womb...
    Lucinda Lavender: Yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: passing
    Yakuzza Lethecus: zen
Zen Arado: seems to me to be a desire for peacefuness in a life that might be too hectic at times..and a desire for enlightenment - becoming one with everything....
    Zen Arado: Gaya
Gaya Ethaniel: As I heard Eliza relating the dream, I am in the abyss, feeling restful, looking up and I see marine snow falling like a meteor shower.
    Gaya Ethaniel: Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) Thank you everyone. I pass to Sharon to re-tell her dream :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :0
SophiaSharon Larnia: I remember just a few dream images, I was reading a newspaper and certain text jumped out at me...some of the words were, water, consortium, car, building... [7:10] SophiaSharon Larnia: there were more words but perhaps not PC to say here :) Then I remeber putting the paper down, and standing up. Next thing I remember from this dream, I was walking down a busy city street, buying hot dogs at a stand
    SophiaSharon Larnia: lucinda
Lucinda Lavender: To read the newspaper in the dream strikes me as "information" is available. In dreaming too. The words seem simple and enigmatic. they may be connected in some way....a scanning of the nightly dream news..followed by sustainance of some sort.o.
    Lucinda Lavender: Yaku
    Yakuzza Lethecus: zen
Zen Arado: perhaps an underlying worry about the way the world is going environmentally and some guilt about not doing anything about it (share that guilt or perhaps that's just what it suggests to me )
    Zen Arado: Gaya
Gaya Ethaniel: Walking on a busy street in a vibrant city. It's sunny and everyone is smiling :) Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Withut stretching to connect things, this dream to me had similarities with both gaya's and zen's dreams.. a feel of making distinctions between what is relevant or not/ what to share/ what to buy while being engaged and a 'part' of the dynamic and busy world...
Eliza Madrigal: and a sense of hm, validation of choices amidst a kind of almost humorous noticing of serious randomness
    SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Sharon :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: I like that term, serious randomness
    Zen Arado: :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: Me too :)
Lucinda Lavender: AS the dreamers listens she is a bridge to unity consciousness...and some of what is available in the dream is spicy prehaps...
Lucinda Lavender: consortioum...convening in the dream
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Eliza Madrigal wonders out of turn whether rest amidst busyness and engagement is zen
Lucinda Lavender: water...is connecting us as well...flow
SophiaSharon Larnia: (as a comment, unPC didnt mean spicy and I dont like hot dogs lol)
Gaya Ethaniel: Lucinda, would you mind re-telling yours?
Lucinda Lavender: ok...in the dream I was hugging my son...this hug was from head to toe. I felt very onnected and it was like being one being...
    --BELL--
    Gaya Ethaniel: [Yaku?]
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: passing
    Yakuzza Lethecus: zen
Zen Arado: make me think of how you could be connected to oneness through your son....reminds me of the emphasis on lineage right back to the Buddha in Zen and giving appreciation to all the teachers who laboured so hard to pass the dharma teachings on to us
Gaya Ethaniel: I felt comforted and loved by the dream as if I was also enfolded in the union. Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, this dream had the same deep, satisfying, restful feeling as the oceanic blanket... acceptance, endless yumminess :) Also, I thought of an article I read many years ago called "Baby Buddha" which was about mothers allowing their children to teach them to 'deeply settle'... so remark on the parallel to what Zen just said. Sharon :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: yumminess :))
SophiaSharon Larnia: I was taken by how affirming it is and natural, and felt very comforted too.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Lucinda
Gaya Ethaniel: I need to go I'm afraid. I enjoyed it very much, thank you everyone :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Gaya
    Zen Arado: thanks Gaya
    Zen Arado: bye
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, thank you Gaya. :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Perhaps we can do this once a month, say last Wednesday of each month?
Yakuzza Lethecus: sry for not participating
    Zen Arado: sure
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I'd love that
Gaya Ethaniel: Next time Yaku :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s even a good play for regular sessions
    Zen Arado: why not?
    Lucinda Lavender: thanks gaya
Yakuzza Lethecus: it gives a focus to the regualar pab sessions
Gaya Ethaniel: ok I entrust you Eliza for sending out a notice with how to play a dream circle and time etc. :P
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Sure, as long as we take the open structure lightly... and are able to somehow include those who arrive late...
Yakuzza Lethecus: my only issue is the pressure to say something
Zen Arado: felt I was boorishly male in some comments...sorry
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles
    Gaya Ethaniel: :)
Eliza Madrigal: hah, Well Lucinda and I might want to work on something for the wiki
Eliza Madrigal: haha, Zen, that's a great element
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Gaya Ethaniel: Sounds great thanks Eliza and Lucinda :)
Gaya Ethaniel: So last Wed of each month at this time ok with you all?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care everyone
    Zen Arado: bye Yaku
    Gaya Ethaniel: Bye Yaku :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes, seems fine with me off hand
    Zen Arado: yes sure
SophiaSharon Larnia: your 'comment' actually did point out to me, how over-details can be set dressing, oscuring the basic premise of the dream
Lucinda Lavender: yes.. just ponder the possibility of how these dreams are connected...letting the images resonate together.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Zen
Gaya Ethaniel: Great, have a good day everyone :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: obscuring*
    Eliza Madrigal: hmmm set dressing
    Zen Arado: eternal Yumminess :)
Eliza Madrigal: I thought the balance of dreams this morning was quite textured....
SophiaSharon Larnia: or if you prefer, images seen when awake being processed
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah, yes
    Zen Arado: yummy dreams :)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes:)
    Eliza Madrigal: :) yummy collaborations
Lucinda Lavender: taking them in for nourishment
    Eliza Madrigal: Consortium
    SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs
    Lucinda Lavender: flowing
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm
Zen Arado: wonder about PC words.....
    Zen Arado: or no Pc
    Eliza Madrigal: or mac
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Lucinda Lavender: what is there is ok
    Lucinda Lavender: pc or not
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, something i didnt want to put in the log here
    Lucinda Lavender: right
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: and as I didnt prepar anything (typed first) I couldnt think of another way to put it
Eliza Madrigal: Lucinda would you like to comment on how this unfolded today to your sensibilities? I felt, even with jumping protocol, it was very enriching
Zen Arado: just teasing Sharon :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: i know
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Lucinda Lavender: you all are very good a the flow part
Eliza Madrigal: Its interesting as a process/ practice because there is almost a sense of group 'dropping'
Lucinda Lavender: It is really hard when learning a new form when it has moved more quickly perhap in the daily mtgs
Eliza Madrigal: perhaps because there is a trust developed already within the community :)
Lucinda Lavender: It was great that every one tried tho.
Zen Arado: think we are getting the hag of the form
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    SophiaSharon Larnia: getting the hag?
    Zen Arado: hang* :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
    Zen Arado: oops
Lucinda Lavender: I am so happy to know we can try it
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ;p
Eliza Madrigal: boil and bubble... toil and trouble
Zen Arado: coven not consortium :)
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, thank you so much Lucinda :)
Lucinda Lavender: :) my thought is that it will get easier over time...everuyone here is so bright
Eliza Madrigal: Its quite a treasure you've brought us
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles at Zen
Zen Arado: yes I found it interesting
Eliza Madrigal: bright like sea stars :)
Lucinda Lavender: must get to work now.
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Lucinda
    Lucinda Lavender: bye all...
Zen Arado: must get my dinner
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Lucinda thank you!!!
Eliza Madrigal: yes, I should go too... have to apply for a passport to make it to NS :)
    Zen Arado: bye all too

    SophiaSharon Larnia: great
