The Guardian for this meeting was Bruce Mowbray. The comments are by Bruce Mowbray.
Korel Laloix: Bozho
Bruce Mowbray: Bozho indeed.
Korel Laloix: What you up to today?
Bruce Mowbray: and how are you?
Korel Laloix: Not too good.
Korel Laloix: But OK in the big picture.
Bruce Mowbray: me neither.
Bruce Mowbray: Shall we cry on each other's shoulders?
Bruce Mowbray: May I ask what you mean by "The Big Picture"?
Bruce Mowbray: I'm not sure I have one of those.
Korel Laloix: Well, I just took some Pamprin so I am close the crying thing anyway... frowns
Korel Laloix: All the important things in my life are covered.
Bruce Mowbray: Yeah, I probably need some of that Pamprin, myself.
Korel Laloix: It does work.
Bruce Mowbray wonders if Pamprin would work for him.
Korel Laloix: I have been wanting to read the label, but have forced myself not to.
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Korel Laloix: I really hate this.
Bruce Mowbray: Speaking of labels, I've been trying to find pain relievers that can be taken with Plavix . . . which I've been on for about a week.
Bruce Mowbray: Also, cold medications that do not contain any of the things that cannot be taken with Plavix.
Bruce Mowbray: WHAT a drag.
Bruce Mowbray: I'm pretty sure that I couldn't take Pamprin either.
Korel Laloix: Lots of contraindications.
Bruce Mowbray: yeppers.
Korel Laloix: You will have to go to the next level I think.
Korel Laloix: Which puts its own problems.
Bruce Mowbray: Soon, I think.
Bruce Mowbray looks around for the next level.
Bruce Mowbray: I wonder how long Fc Seeker intends to leave his Christmas tree standing over there.
Korel Laloix: Looks like Tylenol will work for you.
Korel Laloix: But ask your doctor first of course.
Korel Laloix: Christmas is on the 19th for me, so I like it up.
Bruce Mowbray: Tylenol is acetaminophen, right?
Korel Laloix: Yes.
Bruce Mowbray: Hmmmm.
Korel Laloix: Read in three different sites and they say it is not contraindicated.
Bruce Mowbray: Well, I found one thing saying that was OK and another one saying it was not - -
Korel Laloix: But I am not a pharmacist.
Bruce Mowbray: better ask my doc (one of them, anyway.)
--BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: I've been practicing having "no expectations" -- none, of anything - including gravity, air, earth, etc. None.
Bruce Mowbray: Pretty unrealistic, huh?
Korel Laloix: Yes, but fantasy is a large part of our thoughts, so why is that any more out of the ordinary?
Bruce Mowbray: Indeed, fantasy and "imagination" are the vast majority of "my" thoughts, anyway.
Korel Laloix: I don't read a lot of fiction.
Bruce Mowbray: In fact, I cannot think of a single thing that is NOT filtered by my imagining.
Korel Laloix: But I do daydream a bit.
Bruce Mowbray: Me too, Kori.
Korel Laloix: I have enjoyed some fiction but not much.
Bruce Mowbray: I would even have to say that probably I AM my images of things.
Korel Laloix: Not a movie sort of girl either.
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: But when you daydream. . . .
Bruce Mowbray: is it sort of like, home movies?
Korel Laloix: At least you have an intact self image.
Korel Laloix: Could be.
Korel Laloix: Interesting way to put it.
Bruce Mowbray: Oh, I really do not think that I do, Kori.
Bruce Mowbray: I feel today like my "self-image" is seriously fragmented, in fact.
Bruce Mowbray: (That's partly why I'm hiding behind these big glasses.)
Bruce Mowbray: Would you mind if I lowered the fountain?
Bruce Mowbray: Some folks (especially those without sounds) want the fountain going so they can tell when the drops are. . .
Bruce Mowbray: But I usually put it down.
Bruce Mowbray: Here goes.
Korel Laloix: Not at all.
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks.
Korel Laloix: Feeling fragmented?
Korel Laloix: I know that feeling.
Bruce Mowbray: How's work going today?
Korel Laloix: Starting toward tax panic.
Bruce Mowbray: Oh dear -- that time of year.
Bruce Mowbray: I just did our farm's taxes a couple of days ago.
Bruce Mowbray: Holding off on my personal taxes for a while, though.
Bruce Mowbray: I need to do the farm's first, though, because my brother and sister need those forms.
Korel Laloix: It is not pleasant.
Bruce Mowbray: I have never used an accountant -- not once in forty years.
Korel Laloix: And taxes in the last year have gotten really stupid according to our tax lawyers.
Bruce Mowbray: Nope -- it is not pleasant. . .
Bruce Mowbray: really?
Korel Laloix: Our firm is half lawyers and half CPAs.
Korel Laloix: Some are both.
Bruce Mowbray: But it keeps them employed, right?
Korel Laloix: Some of them want to quit.
Bruce Mowbray: I can easily imagine that they might.
Bruce Mowbray: Actually, I don't know how they manage to do it all -- especially when I have my hands full with just ONE account.
Korel Laloix: It is sick, all the special interest loopholes.
Bruce Mowbray: and a simple account at that.
Bruce Mowbray: yeah, special interest loopholes.....
Bruce Mowbray: Maybe you should run for President, Kori.
Bruce Mowbray: I'm sure you could do better than many of the present folks in the running.
Bruce Mowbray: Would you advocate a flat tax?
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Aph!
Bruce Mowbray: Good to see you.
Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Bruce, Korel!
Aphrodite Macbain: How are you both?
Korel Laloix: lol.. let me see, a mentally ill, anti abortion, First American, lesbian as president... yes, that would happen... lmbo
Bruce Mowbray: Fragmented.
Korel Laloix: Great thanks.
Korel Laloix: And in pain.
Bruce Mowbray will send healing vibes to Kori during the next drop.
Aphrodite Macbain: In pain and fragmented!
--BELL--
Bruce Mowbray: Kori's law firm is bracing for tax time.
Korel Laloix: The madness had started for sure.
Aphrodite Macbain: Why? What makes it worse this year?
Bruce Mowbray wonders if a bit of gin might help Kori's CPA's.
Korel Laloix: They are more scotch drinkers.
Aphrodite Macbain: That or a trip to Hawaii
Bruce Mowbray: yeah. . . I don't drink anything any more, myself.
Korel Laloix: Some of the silly laws are hitting this year I guess.
Korel Laloix: I probably drink too much for my weight.
Bruce Mowbray: It would be hard to keep "up" on all the legal aspects of taxation.
Aphrodite Macbain: like what? declaring all revenue?
Korel Laloix: Yes, but many many more loopholes.
Korel Laloix: Not sure the exacts, I stay out of it.
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Aphrodite Macbain: as long as you have a good tax accountant
Bruce Mowbray: They get elected to Congress by promising to take away loopholes . . . then end up putting more in.
Bruce Mowbray: go figure.
Aphrodite Macbain: presumably loopholes for the govt and not the tax payer
Bruce Mowbray: My brother is also a lawyer (although now retired.)
Bruce Mowbray: Keeps Kori's law firm going, though.
Aphrodite Macbain thinks she should have been a lawyer
Bruce Mowbray: You would make an excellent lawyer - - You see the details.
Aphrodite Macbain: Kori- are you a lawyer?
Bruce Mowbray: I'm too busy looking for different levels.
Korel Laloix: From talking to one of the guys today, what it is that each time a party gets in power, they add loopholes for their donors.
Bruce Mowbray listens.
Aphrodite Macbain: I like arguing...
Korel Laloix: SO it gets worse each time, not better.
Korel Laloix: OH heck no, not a lawyer.
Aphrodite Macbain: oh for their donors!
Korel Laloix: I am just the over-paid receptionist.
Aphrodite Macbain: It's hard to be a politician these days- very costly
Aphrodite Macbain: Hello arabella
arabella Ella: Hiya!
Korel Laloix: To your soul.
Aphrodite Macbain: lol korel
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Ara -- good to see you again.
Aphrodite Macbain: not all politician are bad

arabella Ella: it is nice and warmest place in Europe at the moment
Aphrodite Macbain: really?
Bruce Mowbray: Have they ever had a RL retreat in Malta, Ara?
arabella Ella: oh i am not sure i doubt i heard that before cool!

Aphrodite Macbain: Bye! Korel
Bruce Mowbray: bye, Kori.

arabella Ella: well spring is best
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
arabella Ella: but ... i may be repeating for Bruce ... I went on a charity bike ride on Sunday and it was blue skies and brilliant!
arabella Ella: we were over 1000 bikers
Aphrodite Macbain: good for you! what charity?
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I remember your saying that -- and also that you were exhausted.
arabella Ella: yes i was!
Aphrodite Macbain: how many kilos?
arabella Ella: but nicely exhausted
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
arabella Ella: ah can't remember but around 2 hours all around the lil island riding through red traffic lights with traffic police to let us through :)
arabella Ella: its quite a feeling riding through red traffic lights believe me :)
arabella Ella: a rare occasion
Aphrodite Macbain: you must have felt good, and good about doing such a thing for a charity
arabella Ella: so Aph, did your grandmom ever come back to visit?
arabella Ella: or do relatives from here ever visit your family?
Aphrodite Macbain: no, She left home in 1915 and went and married my grandfather in India
arabella Ella: wow quite something ... India ... cool!
Aphrodite Macbain: I think my great grandfather returned in his 80s with a new wife!!
Bruce Mowbray: an adventuresome woman for those long-ago days!
arabella Ella: sounds like that to me too :)
Aphrodite Macbain: yes. a strong one. good Scotch stock
--BELL--
arabella Ella: not many females would have travelled at all - let alone so far and wide :)

arabella Ella: are you fed up yet with all the politics on TV?
arabella Ella: and its barely started
Bruce Mowbray: Very good. Then you already know about how we need to ask your permission to publish on the web (wiki) anything you might say in chat?
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, ara, I am already fed up with the political dramas.
Bruce Mowbray: and today is the first of many primaries --- in New Hampshire.
arabella Ella: we get it here too and I've had enough already!
Aphrodite Macbain: I've been watching it on TV. Trouble is there is no one who has anything new to say
Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: OK to publish then, Robbin?
Aphrodite Macbain: I still think Obama is the best you have
Bruce Mowbray: I could not agree more!
arabella Ella: is it still the case that only a small percentage of people go out to cast their votes at the US election?
Aphrodite Macbain: He is operating with enormous impediments
Robbin Roelofs: yes it's ok Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: But I like Obama so much that I'm worried about a second term for him -- I'm afraid they will tear him apart.
Bleu Oleander: hiya!
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, Robbin!
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Bleu.
Aphrodite Macbain: Hiya Bleu!
arabella Ella: Hiya Bleu!
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm excited about the next Art as Being
