Zen Arado: I have a theory about competition
Alfred Kelberry: there's a view that competition may harm pab
Alfred Kelberry: hurt people that didn't excel
Zen Arado: you know the saying "iron sharpens iron'
Zen Arado: it's how you our species keeps itself sharp
Korel Laloix: Competition is just like any other human interactiong.. it is not of itself good or bad.
Zen Arado: it's the way we are
Korel Laloix: But it is very usefull if work correctly.

Korel Laloix: And.... competition is natural.
Alfred Kelberry: i agree, kori girl
Korel Laloix: It is how most organizm survive, but getting ahead of similar organisms.
Korel Laloix: But I have seen here some people completely ignore competeing comments of others.
Korel Laloix: Rather than have to engage.
Zen Arado: I do that sometimes

Korel Laloix: I have seen some posturing over moral superiority.

Korel Laloix: Except the whole World Peace Day thing which made me ill.
Korel Laloix: But I have talked to some folks that found it a bit much, so they don't come around as much or at all anymore.

Korel Laloix: I can think of a few times where I was very at odds to what the majority thought.
Zen Arado: but if you do disagree with too many people in a group the best thing is to leave the group
Yakuzza Lethecus: does one really have to take a position, how problematic is it to be undecided most of the time ?

Zen Arado: it's only opinions anyway
Yakuzza Lethecus: but it helps to see different perspectives to get a better feeling for a subject
Zen Arado: but some people cling to their opinions very tightly
Zen Arado: even if you don't yourself
Korel Laloix: Interesing.. no one has ever said those things to me directly.. must be the non confronational part of PaB.
