Wol Euler: I hate to ask potentially embarrassing questions, but: how long have you had that beard?
Qt Core: :-) a week just opened the inventory for the first time in months and found this skin
Wol Euler: oh good :) I was afraid you'd say "eighteen months" :)
Wol Euler: I guess that is fairly fresh, then (the weekly topic)
Qt Core: :-) just checking if i like it (the idea of a sl beard)
Qt Core: the new pab art project is interesting
Wol Euler: indeed!

Qt Core: it make me regret not having the palest idea how to build, just putting an image on a surface was hell for me
Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: well, there are sun's classes, and it's six weeks away :)
Wol Euler: plenty of time!
Qt Core: my most recurrent (even if i hadn't it in years) dream is about a vase with sime geraniums in it flying in the dark

Wol Euler: that sounds like a memory of the Hitchhiker's Guide :)
Qt Core: lately i had a weird dream, not only as what happened it its "first part" was weird, but the second part was me telling what happened to someone else (not like it was a dream)
Wol Euler listens.
Qt Core: i was getting home (by car) from spain (never been there) and i got lost when i was almost at home
Qt Core: i ended on the top of a hill where some people where playing (a old man, a 40ish woman and a 30ish man)
Wol Euler: playing? music?
Qt Core: then we sa a fighrt plane whith its lower part liek a tank one
Qt Core: playing a bowling like game
Wol Euler: ty

Qt Core: then this plane landed near us and we saw it was in some sort of military drill
Qt Core: with many other soldiers on the other side of the hill, then i discovered the pilot was related with the three people, but didn't know if he was the son of the elder, the woman husband or the young brother
Qt Core: i ended up chatting whit him a little before getting on my car and going away <end act="" i="" of="">
Qt Core: in act II i started telling my mother all this story
Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: and discovered the old man was her cousin on father side (she has no cousin on her father side)
Qt Core: but the reason i was telling her that is that i git the news that the pilot killed himself
Qt Core: then we procedeed wondering about how the 3 people and the pilot were related
Wol Euler: wow
Qt Core: then i awoke as i usually do when dreams get too weird
Wol Euler: so you had a dream and then dreamed about talking about it
Wol Euler: wow :)
Qt Core: no, it was part of the dream, the event were "real"
Wol Euler: understood
Qt Core: i know i;m not a good "navigator" (even with gps help) but in the firs part where i got lost (less than a dozen km from home) i was pretty angry

Qt Core: i very rarely have my mother in my dreams and i just noticed that this time is the first one where she is in the wheelchair (she's using it for the past let say 5 years)
Wol Euler nods.
Qt Core: changing topic, how was your week wol (mine was boring and rain most of the time)
Wol Euler: weather was the same here, cold and rainy, had the heating on again
Wol Euler: it was a short week, Monday hoilday and I was sick with a migraine on Tuesday
Wol Euler: but we got a lot done, so it was good
Qt Core: me too, yesterday... 7C at 1pm i wonder if the hemisphere swapped places
Wol Euler: yeah, this year has had very strange weather
Wol Euler: unseasonal
Wol Euler: I worry that people will see that it's cold in May and conclude that climate change must be false, because it isn't warmer tahn usual
Qt Core: but is still a change
Wol Euler: indeed
Wol Euler: but some people seem to think "global warming" just means "it will be warmer"
Wol Euler: and hey what could be wrong with that?
Wol Euler: well no, everything will change. Rainfall patterns will change, deserts will expand, crops will have to be moved
Qt Core: and how many of them are the same wanting Darwin out of the schools and pictures of Moses riding a t-rex?
Wol Euler: yep
Wol Euler: because if science is true, we can change the world; and if we can change the world, then we are responsible for it being damaged
Wol Euler: and who wants to be responsible?
Wol Euler: so no, science must be false, and the climate change must be entirely God's work
Wol Euler: so it must be wonderful! hooray!
Wol Euler: enjoy the more frequent and stronger storms!
Qt Core: hoping for a little sun (as my sister is at the sea for a few days)
Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: well, cold or not I have shopping and chores to do
Wol Euler: so I will have to move on
