The Guardian for this meeting was Fael Illyar. Comments are by Fael.

I sat alone at the pavilion for 50 minutes and then Buddha popped in.

    Fael Illyar: Hello Buddha :)
    Buddha Vayandar: hi fael
    Fael Illyar: how are you?
    Buddha Vayandar: fine and you?
    Fael Illyar: I'm good :)
Fael Illyar: have you been here before?

I decide to try to ask if she has been here before but the answer leaves me uncertain.

    Buddha Vayandar: yes, its beautifull
Fael Illyar: Yes, it is :)
Buddha Vayandar: i love the theehouse :-)
Fael Illyar: oh, there is a treehouse? I must have missed it :)
Buddha Vayandar: you should look and drink some green thee
Fael Illyar: perhaps I will :)
Fael Illyar: are you familiar what this pavilion is for?
    Buddha Vayandar: this one, no
Fael Illyar: This is a meeting place for our group, Play as Being. http://playasbeing.wik.is/
Buddha Vayandar: i will check it
Fael Illyar: We're doing explorations to the nature of the mind with a new style of approach.

My new favourite explanation of what we do here.

    Buddha Vayandar: ok
Fael Illyar: stop for 9 seconds each 15 minutes.
    Buddha Vayandar: and reflect?
Fael Illyar: in addition to that, there are meetings every 6 hours.
Fael Illyar: yes, reflect could be one but primarily the idea is to take a pause from everything.
Fael Illyar: Let everything go for the 9 seconds.
    Buddha Vayandar: ok
Fael Illyar: and see what happens :)
    Buddha Vayandar: :)
Fael Illyar: the meetings are for discussing it with others.
    Buddha Vayandar: cool
Fael Illyar: 1am, 7am, 1pm, 7pm are the times for the meetings.
    Buddha Vayandar: i will remind
Fael Illyar: usually these last at least for an hour... there's always someone around for the time.
Fael Illyar: like me for todays 1am
Buddha Vayandar: are there many people?
Fael Illyar: around 40-50 regulars I think.
    Buddha Vayandar: ok
Fael Illyar: 1am is just one of the less popular times.
    Buddha Vayandar: :D
    Fael Illyar: do you meditate?
    Buddha Vayandar: yes
Buddha Vayandar: i was in a buddhist monostary last year for ten days
    Fael Illyar: ah, retreat?
    Buddha Vayandar: retreat
    Fael Illyar smiles.
    Buddha Vayandar: :D
Fael Illyar: I, myself, do 9 second stops but I've also done meditation in addition. Although not that much lately.
Buddha Vayandar: sometimes its hard to make time in normal living
Fael Illyar: yes, all kinds of things we feel we have to do :)
    Buddha Vayandar: :D
Fael Illyar: that's one of the beautiful points in this 9 second approach. No-one can say they don't have the time for it :)
    Buddha Vayandar: :D
Fael Illyar: .. or well, people do try but tend to get a bit flustered after they realize what they're saying :)
    Buddha Vayandar: :)
Buddha Vayandar: got to go in RL, see you here next time :)
Fael Illyar: sure, I hope I'll see you again :)
Fael Illyar: oh by the way, do mind your lines and name being recorder on our wiki?
    Buddha Vayandar: no
Fael Illyar: ok, thank you :)
    Buddha Vayandar: cu love
    Fael Illyar waves.

Buddha leaves and Solo arrives. Very matching timings.

    Fael Illyar: Hi Solo :)
    Solobill Laville: Heya, Fael!
Fael Illyar: if you were aiming for 1AM, you're an hour late :)
Fael Illyar: well, not that I'm going anywhere :)
Solobill Laville: No, can't sleep, so I thought I'd clean up the decorations...
    Fael Illyar: Ah
    Solobill Laville: (Stomach, issues...damn!)
Fael Illyar: just air or something worse?
Solobill Laville: Pretty much air, but it is the lack of sleep that is the killer for me
Solobill Laville: kids in the morning, etc...
Fael Illyar: yes, that kind of does get to you.
Solobill Laville: Yeah, comes with the territory
Fael Illyar nods ... there's halloween still going on around SL though.
    Solobill Laville: :) I bet
Solobill Laville: Probably til the sun comes up in Hawaii
Fael Illyar nods 'Yep, most likely!'
Fael Illyar: it was nice to see some decorations in the pavilion for a change :)
Solobill Laville: I agree! And we still stayed on topic! ;)
    Fael Illyar nods 'Impressive!'
Solobill Laville: I guess that will be my last session in the pavilion as well
Solobill Laville: We move to the new one Monday
Fael Illyar: yes, I saw the miniature on the table and the sign below it :)
Solobill Laville: Sp we're on schedule to move every 3 months it would seem
    Solobill Laville: *So
    Solobill Laville: :)

Solo makes an interesting observation about changing meeting place every 3 months.

    Fael Illyar grins.
    Fael Illyar: truly
Fael Illyar: and the pavilion isn't even too small yet like the teahouse was :)
    Solobill Laville nods
Solobill Laville: Which leads to the "why move?" question
Fael Illyar: actually, the teahouse would probably stil work :)
    Solobill Laville: hehe
Solobill Laville: Yes, for the most part
Fael Illyar suddenly has a weird impulse to suggest al 1am meetings moved back to the teahouse.

And that's what I get for thinking about the teahouse again. I suddenly want to use it again :P Just a problem using the autologger there.

Solobill Laville: I still go there every Wednesday night
    Solobill Laville: Great idea
Solobill Laville: I assume the autologger will be portable?
Fael Illyar: should be but I'm not sure if it's free from political issues.
    Solobill Laville: Alas
Fael Illyar: but should be entirely possible for people to wear it.
Fael Illyar: it's just, they'd need to remember to switch to a group tag that allows building in the area since it rezzes listeners
Solobill Laville: Ah, so you need to be in Zen Retreat? Or just PaB?
    Solobill Laville: tag I mean
Fael Illyar: Zen Retreat Guardian tag would allow that in th teahouse
Solobill Laville: Wow, does that still exist?
    Solobill Laville is checking
Fael Illyar: but you only need the tag when you attach the recorder, I think worn items remember the tag you had when you wore them
    Solobill Laville: ah
Solobill Laville: and it does still exist - 16 members
Fael Illyar: many older Guardians are there :)
    Solobill Laville: :)
Solobill Laville: Thorberg, Trevor, Rajah, Friedrich
Solobill Laville: The other 12 are still pretty active

Solo mentions guardians who haven't been around lately.

Fael Illyar: Yes, and who knows if those 4 activate someday again :)
Solobill Laville wonders what happened to Rajah
Fael Illyar: I have no idea. It has to have been well over a month since I last saw any hint of him
Solobill Laville: That is a scary part of SL
Solobill Laville: You don't know what you don't know
Fael Illyar: yes, but in a way, there is an analogous happening in RL as well.
Solobill Laville: But there are more channels of communication in RL, if something were to happen to someone, for example
Fael Illyar: well, SL is basically one of those.
Solobill Laville: maybe just the grapevine is older in RL
Fael Illyar: that's what I see SL as being. Communication channel for RL :)
Fael Illyar: many people just use it like it had no connection.
Solobill Laville: Yes, I guess it also depends how networked you are though
Solobill Laville: Let's say my only group was PaB
Solobill Laville: And I suddenly vanished (due to some RL thing)
Solobill Laville: No one would know anything about it
Solobill Laville wonders if that may not be the case anyway
Fael Illyar: yes, that's the thing when PaB is your only connection tangent to the people in this group
    Solobill Laville: yes
Solobill Laville: I am going to try to get some sleep Fael
    Solobill Laville: nice chatting
Fael Illyar: Sure, sleep well :)
    Solobill Laville: thx

With this, I decided to leave the pavilion as well. My last meeting there it sounds like.
