Riddle is adding the comments this morning.

Riddle had some early morning demands to take care of, so was rushed to get into SL on time.  That is almost always when Sl takes the longest to load and rez.   Adams and Corvi were already there when last location put me almost on top of Corvi.  Then I backed up and over Adams.

Corvuscorva Nightfire: lovely color you're wearing, today...Hi, Riddle.
    Adams Rubble: Hello Riddle :)
    Adams Rubble: Thanks Corvi :)
    Adams Rubble: ouch
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: How are you?
    Riddle Sideways: good morning
Adams Rubble: You look very nice today Corvi :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: thank you.
Riddle Sideways: sorry trouble getting going today
    Corvuscorva Nightfire smiles..we're resiliant.
Adams Rubble: I haven't been here long
Riddle Sideways: hopefully your worlds are less choatic then mine this morning
Adams Rubble: I'm drifiting on a raft in the middle of the sea, with the sun beating down
    Adams Rubble: no chaos
Riddle Sideways: ah, to be you
    Corvuscorva Nightfire smiles.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: why chaotic?
    Adams Rubble: Yes
Corvuscorva Nightfire: besides tripping over Adams?
Riddle Sideways: tis the start of the holiday season
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: ah
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: well
    Adams Rubble: ah
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: yes.
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Adams Rubble echos Corvi
Fael enters as we start to talk of Thanksgiving in U.S.
Corvuscorva Nightfire is planning to sell alot of Turkeys in the next two days...Hi, Fael.
    Adams Rubble: Hi Fael
Fael Illyar: Hi Corvi,Adams, Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: this work week has to squeeze 5 days into 2-3
Adams Rubble: Good for you Corvi :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Fael
Adams Rubble is not coping well with the short week
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: ah
    Adams Rubble just giving up
    Adams Rubble: can't be done
    Fael Illyar: short week?
Riddle Sideways: well I was doing that too
Riddle Sideways: but others want/need me to do their stuff
Adams Rubble: It's Thanksgiving week in the US
    Fael Illyar: ah, less workdays?
Adams Rubble: Oh Riddle, that's a bummer
    Adams Rubble: yes Fael
even though I mess up the actual quote, seems most people know it already.
Riddle Sideways: we have a saying
Riddle Sideways: that I use more and more often
Riddle Sideways: "why is your lack of planning...
Riddle Sideways: have to become my crisis"
Corvuscorva Nightfire giggles...one of my coworkers has that on her desk.
Adams Rubble understands the sentiment well
    Fael Illyar smiles.

A moment of silent lets me bring up a little question that I had missed sometime a few months back.
And as if by the mention, Gaya enters.

    Riddle Sideways: now then
Riddle Sideways: Fael, I have been meaning to ask something
Riddle Sideways: when we first met, wasn't Faenik on your shoulder?
Adams Rubble: In a way, it's good to be needed though :)
Fael Illyar 's ears pop up.
    Fael Illyar: Hi Gaya :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: Hi, Gaya, Faenik
Fael Illyar: Yes, he was :)
    Faenik: ????^^
    Adams Rubble: Hello Gaya :)
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Gaya
Adams Rubble looks for her Hud
    Adams Rubble lost her hud
Riddle Sideways: did Faenik abandon you?
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
Fael Illyar: hmmh... more like I asked him to keep some company to Gaya and Umbriel :)
    Gaya Ethaniel: ^__^
Riddle Sideways: he can be pushed away like that?
Corvuscorva Nightfire: I hardly think pushed away is the right concept....
    Corvuscorva Nightfire smiles.
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Gaya Ethaniel send an IM to Faenik...
Fael Illyar: Yes, feels off enough that I can't really figure out how to answer.
    Faenik loves wells!
Gaya Ethaniel: there you go Riddle... he loves wells he says
Riddle Sideways: sorry I am just abrasive this morning
Gaya Ethaniel: that's allowed Riddle ^^
Fael Illyar: It's ok, just causing me to have a case O.o :)
Riddle Sideways: so if more people come today we can expand the fountain
Riddle Sideways: and sit in the water
Fael Illyar: a case of O.o mean
Pema enters and explains his busy SL schedule.
    Adams Rubble: Hello Pema :)
    Fael Illyar: Hi Pema :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: Hi, Pema!
    Riddle Sideways: hi Pema
    Gaya Ethaniel: _/!\_
Corvuscorva Nightfire: WE could just add pillows.
    Pema Pera: Hi everybody!
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: into the center...
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: heheheh
Riddle Sideways: Pema, has your hair gotten longer?
Adams Rubble notices a few cushions behind us
    Pema Pera: perhaps I shrunk?
Fael Illyar blinks 'Interesting t-shirt, Pema.'
Pema Pera: time to go shopping for more T shirts, I know . . . .
    Gaya Ethaniel: ^^
    Fael Illyar smiles.
Riddle Sideways: sorry, I will miss the part 2 stim/pema dialog today
Riddle Sideways: but I can read it later
    Pema Pera: np, Riddle :)
Pema Pera: I'll try not to miss it
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Fael Illyar smiles.
Pema Pera: had a meeting in SL, in my time zones: at 4 am, 8am, now at 10 am, then at 4 pm and 5 pm . . . . . .
Fael finally gets us all onto the same track.
Fael Illyar: a thought I just had in the bus on my way home "Love yourself enough to not try to force a change."
Pema Pera: PaB, Kira Japan, PaB, PaB dialogue, Kira alumni with Happy Hour in Kira Cafe
Fael Illyar: that way, you won't be afraid to let yourself see yourself.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire laughs...
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: at Pema
Corvuscorva Nightfire: not Fael...who is saying something lovely.
    Riddle Sideways amazed at both
Pema Pera: trying not to force is about the most difficult thing to do . . . . .
Gaya Ethaniel simply continues to chew on mungbean rice cakes...
Pema Pera: trying not to force AND not to run away . . . .
    Faenik: ????^^
    Pema Pera: . . . . AND not to close your eyes and so on . . . .
Riddle Sideways: many say that is when you are standing still
    Adams Rubble: or drifting
Riddle Sideways: but it really is just openning to the flow
    Pema Pera: yes, stopping
Pema Pera: Stim talks about the ordinary (way of using the) mind as the "moving mind"
    Pema Pera: always frantically busy
Pema Pera: obscuring what is natural
Is very nice to come back to what Fael really said.  As I comment the chat session I can re-read over and over to experience the different threads and wordings.  In real time it came by so fast that ...
Fael Illyar: I was observing myself reacting to people around me when I hopped on the bus, then I observed myself pondering how to "fix" these reactions and then after a while I had this thought I just said.
Pema Pera: thanks for sharing, Fael!
Pema Pera: funny, isn't it, that it seems like we have to step back a bit to more "in there"
    Fael Illyar: "in there"?
Riddle Sideways: perplexing to the intelect perhaps, that the simple is the hardest
Pema Pera: normally we tend to sit on the fence, look at everything from a distance, through the small windows of our ego fortification where we reside . . ..
Pema Pera: we're not really in there in the middle of what is really happening
Pema Pera: yet we are involved but in a warped way
Pema Pera: (sounds pretty bad, hey ? :-)
Pema Pera: so we have to step back from the warped way
Pema Pera: and then we can fall into everything in the right, natural way
Pema Pera: (if that makes sense)
Riddle Sideways: makes sence, but there are many other points of views on same subject
Riddle Sideways: sometimes you can split yourself to stay in the warp and still be the waif
    Pema Pera: :)
Riddle Sideways: or is that weave
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: woof?
Pema Pera enjoys Riddle's weaving of metaphors at warp speed
Fael Illyar: well, I guess that's sort of what I did in the bus today, perhaps?
    Pema Pera: woof woof!
    Gaya Ethaniel: ^^
English can be such a neat language to "play" with.  One word having 3-4 meanings.  We can switch sentence meaning and direction upon one word as it switches one meaning into another.
Riddle Sideways: thinking of the fast changing of environs
    Faenik loves wells!
Riddle Sideways: Fael on a bus
Riddle Sideways: people inside with stories
Riddle Sideways: city going by outside
Riddle Sideways: or Pema's many many other virtual lives
    Riddle Sideways: switching every hour
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: yet both are the same
    Riddle Sideways: mostly
Pema Pera: reminds me of a great scene in Wings of Desire, http://www.wim-wenders.com/movies/mo...gsofdesire.htm
Pema Pera: where people in a subway are being panned, with a slow moving camera
Pema Pera: you can "hear" each person's thoughts for a bit, in their own language
Pema Pera: for a while, while the camera is on them
Riddle Sideways: yeah, that was what I was thinking
    Pema Pera: great movie!!
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Gaya Ethaniel: ah... not Henry James...
Corvuscorva Nightfire: It sounds like what I think about listening to each other....
Corvuscorva Nightfire: what I've been thinking about recently.
Riddle Sideways: a bus full of stories
    Pema Pera: yes, Corvi?
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
The transition from 'seeing' the movie/photos around us to 'listening' to the soundtrack, voices, messages...
Corvuscorva Nightfire: that when we step back to see clearly...
Corvuscorva Nightfire: we can listen fully...
Corvuscorva Nightfire: and be present in an important way.
Gaya Ethaniel: each other and ourselves both I guess
Pema Pera: yes, and I think we are all pointing to something similar, using somewhat different expressions . . .
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Gaya Ethaniel is not good at listening T_T
    Fael Illyar blinks 'You aren't?'
Corvuscorva Nightfire leans into her, pushing her over and laughing.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: I totally disagree.
Gaya Ethaniel shakes her head... no, not enough
Fael Illyar: ah, "not good enough argument" :)
Corvuscorva Nightfire: what would you like to differently?
    Faenik: indeed?
Corvuscorva Nightfire struggles with ther disagreement to start listening.
Gaya Ethaniel: be able to factor gaps to watch my reactions before responding
Corvuscorva Nightfire: tell me more about that?
Gaya Ethaniel: often when I try to 'stop' before responding... I lose the conversation
Corvuscorva Nightfire: when you feel like you are listening well..what does that look like?
Gaya Ethaniel: the other person talks more and more comfortably
Corvuscorva Nightfire: so it is what the other person does? not what you do?
Adams Rubble: It is harder to wait before responding in a group...the conversation moves on
Gaya Ethaniel: it's how I listen/respond that makes this happen somehow
    Faenik: ????^^
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: to both Adam's and Gaya.
We all think Gaya is a wonderful listener.  Yet Gaya wants to be better.  What is it we are seeing/hearing.  What is it Gaya sees/hears.  Self-critism or desire to be better.  Has the group evaluated...
Riddle Sideways: and the opposite is true too
Fael Illyar: we do usually have to make the mistakes before learning the correct way.
Riddle Sideways: if repond too quick
Riddle Sideways: I say stupid remarks
Adams Rubble: /never noticesd any stupid remarks from Riddle
    Gaya Ethaniel: me neither...
    Riddle Sideways: ha, thanks
Gaya Ethaniel: perhaps 'stupid' needs re-defining
Corvuscorva Nightfire: what is a stupid remark?
    Riddle Sideways: without thought
Adams Rubble thinks of Three Stooges
Riddle Sideways: sometimes instinctual repsonses work
Riddle Sideways: and often times they miss the mark
    Gaya Ethaniel: whose mark?
    Riddle Sideways: hmmmm, goodpoint
    Faenik: could be
Riddle Sideways: who's mark is it anyway
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Riddle Sideways: if we can place the target after shotting we hit everytime
Pema Pera: so stupid remarks are re-mark-able?
The deadly pun enters the conversation.  Some wish they had wrote that.  Some groan.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire giggles.
Riddle Sideways: if I am the guardian editing this :)
Fael Illyar: the good news is, we can place the target after shooting :P
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: hahahah
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Pema Pera: :-)
    Gaya Ethaniel: ^^
Fael Illyar: at least as far as we are concerned ourselves.
Riddle Sideways: lately have tried to edit RL conversations
    Pema Pera: hahaha
Fael Illyar: or perhaps more correctly, not set a target for ourselves before we shoot :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Pema Pera: how did you do that?
Riddle Sideways: real time events don't work that way
Adams Rubble: One just pretends one never said that :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire smiles.
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Pema Pera: or follow up, integrating, like a missed dance move becoming a new variation
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: oh, yes!
Pema Pera: miss a beat -> new beat
Fael Illyar tends to compromise, saying "can't remember saying it, but that could just be my memory.".
Riddle Sideways: yes, perhaps how the twist was invented
    Gaya Ethaniel: ^_^ cool
    Pema Pera wondering about all of our environs again . . . PaB shootout . . . PaB twist . . .
Fael Illyar: but that happens mostly for situations when I really can't remember :)
    Riddle Sideways: PaB bus
    Pema Pera: that's Adams' bus?
Corvuscorva Nightfire grins..anything can hapen in sl....
Adams Rubble is using a raft these days
Well, I did not write this next section correctly.  Was trying to say that Pema had listed off 5 SL sessions that he was going to be in today.
Given the previous section about editing the mark so that you hit it, I should just edit the following.

Riddle Sideways: PaB 5 SL session today
    Pema Pera: 5 SL???
Riddle Sideways: adams, remember to use sun block
    Adams Rubble: thanks Riddle
Pema Pera: (raining today in Jersey)
    Pema Pera: (forget about sunblock)
Adams Rubble: Just drifting Pema :)
    Pema Pera: :)
Riddle Sideways: was thinking of the fake commencement speach
Corvuscorva Nightfire: Pema you're expected to be there at 5.
    Adams Rubble: ?
    Corvuscorva Nightfire giggles.
    Pema Pera: 5??
Pema Pera: to give a commencent speech?
Pema Pera: and a fake one?
    Adams Rubble: hehe
    Pema Pera getting very confused
Adams Rubble: didn;t they tell you?
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: /em laughs.
Pema Pera: is this a dream?
    I confused everybody.  good job!!!
    the sunscreen references  http://condellpark.com/kd/sunscreen4.htm

Riddle Sideways: some years ago there was an internet gag
    Gaya Ethaniel: O.o Pema confused?
    Riddle Sideways: column
    Riddle Sideways: that went around
Riddle Sideways: supposedly truman capote (or somebody of that level)
    Kurt Vonnegut.
Riddle Sideways: giving a commencment speech
Riddle Sideways: it started "use sun block"
Riddle Sideways: advice he could give to grads
Riddle Sideways: tuned out ot be a chicago newpaper columnist
    Mary Schmich
    Riddle Sideways: turned
    Pema Pera: remarkable(?)
    Riddle Sideways: very remarkable.
    Adams Rubble: too much Starbucks!
    Faenik loves wells!
    Riddle Sideways: for its content
    Riddle Sideways: and the reactions
Pema Pera: sorry, still thinking about marks and such :)
Gaya Ethaniel: [oops... I was onto Starbucks from 'marks' ages ago]
Riddle Sideways: what do we think of marks made by those we credit
Riddle Sideways: then find they were fake
Corvuscorva Nightfire: or we think they were.
    Faenik loves wells!
    Pema Pera: marks or remarks?
Riddle Sideways: or person gets dis-credited
Gaya Ethaniel: mm... dis-credit the whole person beause of his/her marks?
We just needed somebody like Corvi to just straighten this slippery word play onto one subject.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: in rl a spiritual guy has been doing good works nearby.
Riddle Sideways: many in history have been
Corvuscorva Nightfire: some of which may have involved doing things that hurt people...
Adams Rubble: Remembering someone for the worse thning they had done
Corvuscorva Nightfire: apparantly because he is not perfect.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: the things he did that helped people...the things he said...
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: were true things.
    Faenik: could be
    Pema Pera: "not good enough" . . . .
Corvuscorva Nightfire: despite the things he did that were hurtful.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: it's hard sometimes to sort the message and the messanger.
Pema Pera: I think a certain degree of feeling "not good enough" can be very helpful, as long as you don't identify with it -- dropping it completely can easily lead to feeling smug . . . always a question of balance (<- Gaya, earlier; not good enough can be good!)
    Gaya Ethaniel: ^__^ ok Pema
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Pema Pera: I am okay, you are okay -- a dangerous message if not understood
Pema Pera: can easily lead to very annyoing behavior
Gaya Ethaniel: want to change/improve is good right
    Pema Pera: yes
Corvuscorva Nightfire: but maybe one can do that without actually beating oneself up in the process?
Pema Pera: what we are is truly okay -- but the challenge is to see and then to show that part . . . .
    Pema Pera: oh, yes, Corvi!
Pema Pera: there's were the balance comes in
thought we had a new comer, but he left.
Riddle Sideways: Hi, Warren, that info ball has information about our group
    Pema Pera: Hi Warren!
Pema Pera: come join us, Warren, if you like
Pema Pera: what happened with your neighbor, Corvi
    Faenik: could be
Pema Pera: did he get more accepted?
Corvuscorva Nightfire: He has sort of gone silent...
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: no.
Gaya Ethaniel: but Pema as well as what we truly are... how 'I' am with weaknesses and failings also ok no?
Pema Pera: oh sure, that is what you have, and that is fine!
Corvuscorva Nightfire: He has alot of friends and followers though....who never stopped listening.
Pema Pera: identifying with it as "I am weak, bad" is not so good -- I have weaknesses is much better
Pema Pera: and then you can work with them, after first accepting them -- first things first!
Pema Pera: so it's like a sect, Corvi?
    Gaya Ethaniel nods... accept first
Pema hits 2 solid marks here.  I don't need to put any targets under them.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire shrugs.. sort of.
Pema Pera: that's always the danger, that good intentions get encapsulated as a sect
Pema Pera: harmless for their environment
Pema Pera: for better and for worse, both!
    Pema Pera: ineffectual
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Gaya Ethaniel nods... see first then accept*
Pema Pera: yes, denying your weak/bad sides is not a good strategy
Pema Pera: that's what can lead to smugness, so often seen in spirituality, even with the best intentions
Pema Pera: drifting then to hypocrisy
Riddle Sideways: clear seeing what you have. down playing want you want
Adams Rubble interested to see how Pema tied that together
Pema Pera: well, I want to stay here, but I'll downplay it and announce that I have to get back to RL
    Pema Pera: yes, Adams?
We, who thought Pema was possibly confused, see him tie all the threads neatly.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire laughs.
    Riddle Sideways: yes
Gaya Ethaniel: Enjoy your day Pema ^^
Riddle Sideways: I too have to go be RL
    Pema Pera: thanks, Gaya!
Fael Illyar: See you later Pema :)
Adams Rubble: the spiritual smuggness, hypocrocrisy and weakness
    Adams Rubble: bye Pema :)
Riddle Sideways: must turn this office into a guest room
    Pema Pera: see you all!
    Adams Rubble: bye Riddle :)
Gaya Ethaniel: Have a good day all ^^
    Riddle Sideways: bye pema
Gaya Ethaniel is PaBed out... and leaves with a cheery wave
Fael Illyar: See you later Gaya :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: bye, Gaya!
    Riddle Sideways cheery waves back
    Adams Rubble: bye Gaya
Adams Rubble next to go. bye everyone :)
    Fael Illyar waves to Adams.
    Riddle Sideways: bye Adams
Fael Illyar: See you later :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: bye all~!
    Riddle Sideways: bye corvi
Fael Illyar: Ok, that was fast :)
Fael Illyar: (already offline when you said that)
Riddle Sideways: we have and are gone
Fael Illyar: Well, I'll go as well, see you later Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: see you and thanks
