Adelene Dawner: Claire and I were talking about social stuff and making friends, before we came over - maybe you'd be useful with some insights?
Threedee Shepherd: There is a separate grid for folks 13-18
Threedee Shepherd: Normally adults are not allowed, but we are because we are building a project there.
Threedee Shepherd: Where did you get to on the making friends conversation?
Adelene Dawner: Right to the point where I go 'don't ask me, I have no idea'. ^.^

Claire Beltran: My ideas?
Claire Beltran: I was talking with Adelen about how I'm frustrated taht I can't approach and mingle with any of my fellow students.
Threedee Shepherd: What keeps you from approaching them?
Threedee Shepherd: Any idea about that, Claire?
Faenik: why not?

Claire Beltran: Oh! Sorry.

Claire Beltran: It's because I'm afraid.
Threedee Shepherd: afraid that or of what?
Claire Beltran: I feel like very time I talk to another person, it's like a ob interview, and everything I say 'wrong' counts against me. I also fear that being too forward would cause people to be put off by me.
Threedee Shepherd: When you "take a step back from yourself" and re-read what you just said, how would YOU respond to it?
Threedee Shepherd: Is there a place where you and others in your class gather to eat, study or for coffee?
Claire Beltran: Not that I know of... they all run off to other classes.
Threedee Shepherd: Just before or after class, is there anyone you say hello to, or typically sit near.

Claire Beltran: I don't know. It's hard to keep track of who I talk to.
Claire Beltran: There are one or who who hold my attention from time to time, but it's never really focused on one person, I think.
Threedee Shepherd: MMhmm. Is there a club or group you could visit, perhaps related to music or singing?
Claire Beltran: I'm not sure... part of it may be that due to a couple of things, I just feel too tired to try anything else when class is through and just go home.
Threedee Shepherd: How many classes are you taking?
Adelene Dawner: Hold up... do me a favor and describe 'tired', Claire?

Claire Beltran: I guess physically tired? Or it might be reluctance. I'm not entirely sure... I've been having sleeping problems.
