Geo Netizen: I have not had the opportunity do talk directly with them but only with those that hosted them
Geo Netizen: But the experience seems to be common, that all involved felt

Pema Pera: insofar as prayer and meditation directly touches upon reality, you would think that there are clear similarities -- perhaps not so easy to see for scholars, but they should be easy to translate when you bring the practitioners together; do you know of any published article about that, Geo?

Geo Netizen: I think that what was so striking ... the meditative or contemplative experience we very similiar
stevenaia Michinaga: but are non-monks in Eastern religions typically expected to meditatate as part of their routine, or just monks (and westerners)?
Pema Pera: speaking just for myself, I find so many points of reference for my own experiences in such diverse literature as medieval christian mysticism, sufi, hinduism, buddhism, taoism . . . .
