The Guardian for this meeting was Fael Illyar. Comments are Fael's.

Wol arrives 35 minutes to the meeting.

    Wol Euler: morning fael
    Fael Illyar: Morning Wol :)
Wol Euler: is gaya still ill?
Fael Illyar: I haven't heard from her today yet.
Wol Euler: oh, I thought this was her timeslot
Fael Illyar: no, it's mine :)
    Wol Euler: ah.
Fael Illyar: but she's been covering for me often enough
    Wol Euler smiles
Fael Illyar ponders if there is a PaBy subject somewhere.
Wol Euler lifts the cushions and looks for it.
Fael Illyar: doesn't seem to be any under the cushions :)
Wol Euler: sorry, I've just woken up and haven't breakfasted yet.
    Wol Euler: hence somewhat slow
Fael Illyar: well, I didn't finish too long ago either :)
Wol Euler: perhaps there is a pabby subject in the mirage of the distant ocean that we see here?
Fael Illyar: feel free to go get some :)
    Fael Illyar: hehe :)
Wol Euler: the horizon seems to be ocean all around, though Bieup is deeply landlocked
Fael Illyar: oh, not for me
Wol Euler: because the viewer's maximum distance setting prevents us seeing more than X metres away, no trees or ground are rezzed
Fael Illyar: draw distance dependant, probably
Wol Euler: but the _ocean_ that underlies the entire world is always drawn, so we see the sea even though it's many sims away.
    Fael Illyar: yep
Fael Illyar: handy in some situations
Wol Euler wonders whether there is a useful analogy to the *SBS exercises there.
Fael Illyar can't quite see the relation ...
Wol Euler isn't entirely sure that there is one.
Wol Euler: well, that the underlying ocean is the base reality of SL. The whole world starts as ocean and people build land above it, and build their playgodas and cushions above the land
Wol Euler: we see these things when they are close to us, because they appear solid and obscure the sea.
Wol Euler: but beyond what is close, we can't see them any more.
Wol Euler wonders whether she is talking utter crap?
Fael Illyar: Yes, we only see what is close and immediate.
Fael Illyar: other than that, even if there is a theoretical line of sight, nope.
Wol Euler: like the theoretical line of sight between my "informational materialist" worldperception and Pema's "all that is solid is void" physics?
Wol Euler: (he and I have been trying to talk about hte space between electrons and how that might influence one's worldperception, I dont know if you have followed the logs?)
Fael Illyar: I did look at a part of that ...
Fael Illyar: not everything, though, no
Fael Illyar: not reading the logs lately
    Fael Illyar: not that much
Wol Euler is unable to resist asking "Too busy working on the autologging?"
Fael Illyar: nope, not that either :P
Fael Illyar: gets distracted too easily.
    Wol Euler: hehehehehe
Fael Illyar: interesting how I have much more to do than I have time for since starting PaB
Fael Illyar: before that, I was usually pondering what to do
Fael Illyar: that is, when I ended up something I decided to do
Wol Euler nods. How does that happen? Are you seeing more to do, or do people perceive you as being able to do more?
Wol Euler: (does the "to do" come from inside or outside?)
Fael Illyar: some from both I guess
Fael Illyar: but ... as time passes, I'm seeing less and less difference :)
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Fael Illyar: although, you do remember my comment that we're patterns?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Fael Illyar: uh, phonecall
    Wol Euler: ok
    Fael Illyar: ok, done
Fael Illyar: free food today, yay :)
    Wol Euler: !!!!!
Fael Illyar: oh and also that when you look at matter, or more specifically what we know about atoms ... that's mostly empty space as well
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: are you relating the solid=void to seeing less difference between impulses that come from outside or inside?
Fael Illyar: ah, no, those are separate threads of thought
Wol Euler is relieved. thought I'd lost it completely.
Fael Illyar: but my head seems to be a bit disarrayed at the moment so I seem to have lost the threads.
Wol Euler: I fear I shall have to log out and have some foodz before I fall off my cushion.
Wol Euler: se you later in the day, perhaps?
Fael Illyar: Ok, see you later :)
    Wol Euler: bye for now
