     Hello Avatar :) - CH

    Caledonia Heron: hi! :)
    Adams Rubble: Hi Cal :)
Adams Rubble: I have a question which you can edit out if you want. hehe
    Caledonia Heron: how's it going?
    Caledonia Heron: sure
Adams Rubble: You have often said you were an alien from another world
    Caledonia Heron: lol
Adams Rubble: did you mean "virtual world" or is it a different joke?
Adams Rubble: Oooooh. I am on a computer with a real video card and you are simply stunning!!!
Caledonia Heron: just riffing on being a stranger in a strange land :)
    Adams Rubble: ahh
    Caledonia Heron: gosh, thanks :)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: My other computer does not do you justice :)
Caledonia Heron: Zorn and I have speculated that virtual worlds are a perfect place for 1st contact :)
Adams Rubble: I would tend to agree
Caledonia Heron: must have gotten my beauty rest :)
    Adams Rubble: hehe

Caledonia Heron: I got a kick out of our chronicle interview .... can't believe a year has gone by
Adams Rubble: I am much younger than that. hehe....only 10 months
Caledonia Heron: the way time goes here it's hard to tell how long it's been
    Adams Rubble: yes
Adams Rubble: I have been feeling that as the year as gone on that time in RL is getting closer to SL
Adams Rubble: At the beginning SL was much much faster
Caledonia Heron: I can see that, they are meeting each other more
Caledonia Heron: the sl/rl timeframes I mean ...
    Adams Rubble nods
Caledonia Heron: I am making a real effort to not use it, they, them,... spell out things in text so it's understandable
Caledonia Heron: harder than it looks
Adams Rubble is guilty of incomprehensible pronouns
    Adams Rubble: and articles
    Adams Rubble: etc.
Adams Rubble trying to remember some grammar
Caledonia Heron: hell in a handbasket comes to mind
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: That is an admirable thing to do :)
Caledonia Heron: yeah, part of my on-going self/human improvement campaign to speak and then be heard as what I actually meant .... not really all that easy as I love being oblique it would appear
    Adams Rubble: :)
Caledonia Heron: not to be confused with my good grammar in song lyrics campaign :)
Adams Rubble: Maybe the text chat brings that out a bit more :)
    Adams Rubble: not the lyrics
Caledonia Heron: you got it ... text chat can be a trainwreck, especially when a bunch of people are "talking"
Adams Rubble: Unlike we speech we get to see what we are actually saying
Adams Rubble: forget the first "we"
    Caledonia Heron: lol
Caledonia Heron: sometimes I read what I've typed .... a whole different word than what I was thinking comes out of my fingers
Adams Rubble: I really enjoyed the interview too. The interviews have given me a chance to listen to people rather than just talking away :)
Caledonia Heron: a radical synapse imposes itself or something
Adams Rubble: yes...I have had that experience too
Caledonia Heron: oh good! (about the interviews) .... you get the big picture from a lot of perspectives
Adams Rubble: Yes..but more than that...it has been good for me to just listen
Caledonia Heron: mmm, I know what you mean
Adams Rubble: Of course, if we all listen, this will be a very quiet place :)

    Adams Rubble: Hello Korii :)
Caledonia Heron: lol yeah ..... most everyone loves to talk about themselves so this is a perfect forum ..... you can talk about your experiences :)
Korii Tiger: hi . Pretty Robes Adams
Caledonia Heron: hi there Korii :)
    Korii Tiger: hey Caledonia
Adams Rubble: Thank you Korii..I was looking at your pretty wings with my real video card :)
    Korii Tiger: :)
Caledonia Heron: did you get an upgrade Adams?
Adams Rubble: Yes, on this computer :)
    Caledonia Heron: nice
Adams Rubble: Good to see what is really here :)
    Caledonia Heron: :) for sure
Caledonia Heron: it's idyllic.... no mosquitoes or ants at the picnic :)
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Adams Rubble: That is the one advantage of winter
Adams Rubble: Other than getting exercise shoveling
Caledonia Heron feeling bad for shovelers
Caledonia Heron: welcome to the pab group Korii, I read you are a guardian now :)
Caledonia Heron: :) you must be multi-tasking

Adams Rubble: It is less than a week until the big anniversary
Caledonia Heron: I have not read your blog lately Adams, what is new on your front?
    Adams Rubble: oh my
    Adams Rubble: Amazing things :)
Korii Tiger: :\ isn't pema suposed to be here?
    Caledonia Heron: like?
Adams Rubble: I was much moved by Geo's summary last Saturday in his dialogue with Pema
Caledonia Heron: I'm sure he'll come if he can Korii
Caledonia Heron: ah, I should read that
Adams Rubble: He didn't say he would be at the whole session

    Caledonia Heron: can you summarize?
Adams Rubble: Yes, it is worth reading
Adams Rubble: It will be a poor summary but it was from the Christian viewpoint
Adams Rubble: from the Pauline viewpoint
Adams Rubble: Geo compared heaven to LOve
Adams Rubble: that sin was the moving away from Love
Adams Rubble: To me that is a wonderful sumary of Chritisnaity (Geo was more eloquent)
Korii Tiger: uhg.. i guess i can't stay either.. Para TPing me for MICA> See you lady's later.
Adams Rubble: I got myself into a trange circumstance later on Saturday where i experienced a Love I had long forgotten
    Adams Rubble: by Korii
    Caledonia Heron: really?
Adams Rubble: yes and it has me wondering
Adams Rubble: what did I think was so important that i let it go
Adams Rubble: or beter...did not grasp it and hold on to it more firmly
Adams Rubble: anyway, despite getting back into the swing of work and stuff
Adams Rubble: and forgetting almost everything else
Adams Rubble: there is this little fire glowing inside me
Adams Rubble: and I hope to hold on to it this time
Caledonia Heron: you know, I wonder about those type of things, opportunities gone, decisions made ... we make turns in how we do things for whatever reasons at the time and then wander back and say, hmmmm
Caledonia Heron: we are who we are, at core good beings, yet the nuances of interactions in real-time can be confusing

Adams Rubble: we humans are easily distracted
Adams Rubble: or maybe our selves
    Adams Rubble: distracted and disracting
    Adams Rubble: distracting
Adams Rubble: thinking stupid stuff is more important
Caledonia Heron: I have a distraction presently, one that troubles my heart and anything I do to "fix" it makes it worse so I am trying my best to be still
Caledonia Heron: it is very hard to be still because I care a great deal about it
    Adams Rubble nods
Caledonia Heron: like if I wiggle right now the hooks will set in harder
Caledonia Heron: which I was reminded of when you said you might hold on tighter to something you love .... I thought that would be a good way but now I think maybe I have to be willing to let it go
Adams Rubble: Love can be away to let other things go
Caledonia Heron: and maybe that will allow it to stay
Caledonia Heron: yes, maybe let my love give the freedom to resolve the situation

Adams Rubble: Looking back I may have been afraid fo the Love
Caledonia Heron: it can be big
Adams Rubble: afraid to let it show that is
Adams Rubble: a sign of weakness
Caledonia Heron: yes, I know that one .... why is that do you think?
    Caledonia Heron: maybe
Caledonia Heron: of giving up some ground or something?
Adams Rubble: We make our identities and then suppress the things that do not fit it
Adams Rubble: I am speaking for me, of course
    Adams Rubble: my own experience
Caledonia Heron: yes, I can see that... maybe also we do it to protect ourselves
Adams Rubble: to protect our identities...the real "us" doesn;t need protecting
Caledonia Heron: yes, I hear that
Adams Rubble surprised at what i am saying :)
    Caledonia Heron: :)
Adams Rubble: I am finding it amazing at one is coming out of me these days

Adams Rubble: Good morning Pema :)
    Caledonia Heron: lol!
Adams Rubble: at what...not at one
Adams Rubble: whole different meaning :)
Caledonia Heron: hey there Pema's hair :)
    Adams Rubble: yay!
Caledonia Heron: yes, but I read it as "what"
    Pema Pera: :-)
Pema Pera: hi Adams and Cal !
Caledonia Heron: hello all of Pema :)
    Caledonia Heron: how are you?
Pema Pera: fine, and guess what: busy :-)
Caledonia Heron: (hearing Pema's voice, fine, fine)
    Adams Rubble: :)
Pema Pera: like all of us
    Pema Pera: hehehe
    Pema Pera: sure, fine!
Caledonia Heron: one of the things I love about you
    Pema Pera: haha!
    Caledonia Heron: you're 99% fine
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Caledonia Heron: 99.9%
Pema Pera: but you'd better watch out for that 1%, my dear
Pema Pera: oops, upgraded to 0.1%
Pema Pera: that must be really baaaad
    Caledonia Heron: feeling generous
    Pema Pera: :-)

Caledonia Heron: we were talking about love and sin
    Pema Pera: any conclusions?
    Adams Rubble: more about love
    Pema Pera: :)
    Pema Pera: or leads?
Caledonia Heron: yeah, hadn't gotten to sin or maybe enough in the past :)
    Pema Pera: :>)
Adams Rubble: prefer to try to leave as much sin in the past as possible :)
Caledonia Heron: kind of picking through it
Pema Pera: I really enjoyed Geo's approach, so different from what you always hear
Adams Rubble: no conclusions Pema but there is this little fire still glowing in me as I go about doing toher things and I hope to hold on to it this time
Pema Pera: sin as a kind of "bug" when approaching love
Caledonia Heron: maybe it's always there, maybe you forget to look?
Adams Rubble: We can get hung up on the sin...and we do
    Pema Pera: toher, Adams?
    Adams Rubble: other

    Pema Pera: Hi Korii!
    Adams Rubble: wb Korii
    Korii Tiger: hi
    Caledonia Heron: wb Korii
    Korii Tiger: thanks.
Adams Rubble: the sin is the pain
Pema Pera: you're commuting too, Korii?
    Korii Tiger: commuting?
Pema Pera: between MICA and PaB
    Korii Tiger: LOL
    Korii Tiger: aparently
Caledonia Heron: Korii was here earlier, I think looking for you Pema :)
Pema Pera: Stella Nova and here
Pema Pera feels lost + found
Korii Tiger: well i forgot about MICA meeting.. and i ws shocked pema wasn't here cause he's tryign to be here for every time slot for a week..
Korii Tiger: so i thought i'd try and see if i could keep up with him..
Korii Tiger: but then para TPed me to MICa
Korii Tiger: where low and behold
    Korii Tiger: :)
    Caledonia Heron: :)

Pema Pera: yes, Adams, but the pain aspect is just one part, perhaps -- I think Geo was focusing more on a kind of error
    Korii Tiger: intentions?
    Pema Pera: hehehe, Korii
Caledonia Heron: like an error of choice?
    Korii Tiger: being the error^
    Pema Pera: yes
Caledonia Heron: (did not read trans yet)
Pema Pera: error in approach, a bug really
Adams Rubble: yes, I see that
    Pema Pera: in computer-ese
Caledonia Heron: yes, I get that
Adams Rubble: but it is pain
Pema Pera: and bugs can be very painful if not dealt with !
Pema Pera: and benign if dealt with quickly
Pema Pera: so if sins keep bugging you (I see the beginning of a song)
Adams Rubble: In a way we can let go of the pain by turning to the Love, can't we?
Caledonia Heron: it it possible to be a benign error if only 1 person acknowledges it .... does it require dialog?
Pema Pera: each situation is so different, Cal . . . .
Caledonia Heron: sigh, yes, for sure

Pema Pera: . . . . and I am not defending the Christian notion of sin or not-sin either
Pema Pera: but I like the twist that Geo gave to it
Pema Pera: and yes, that comes much closer to karma
Adams Rubble: Yes, that is another way to look at it
Pema Pera: and I do think that has very practical consequences:
Caledonia Heron: dealing with Sunday only christian
Pema Pera: instead of breast beating you can just debug your life
Caledonia Heron: lol, sounds like a cron job
    Pema Pera: :-)
Pema Pera: as opposed to a crown job
Pema Pera: (thinking of dentists and pain)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Caledonia Heron: thorn crown
    Pema Pera: . . .
Adams Rubble hopes we are not going to get into Christian torture again
Caledonia Heron: sign zee papers old man....

Pema Pera: so interesting, the way a message of hope is packaged differently in different religions, and yet the content being so similar . . .
Pema Pera: "all is well" -- very simple
Adams Rubble: Cal and I were talking about something similar
Adams Rubble: our identities create so many worries for us
Caledonia Heron: yes ...very much appreciate simple approaches
Caledonia Heron: yes, and what are those worries good for I wonder at 3am .... not a whole lot
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Pema Pera: :)
Pema Pera: don't worry be happy is indeed a simple enough message :-)
Caledonia Heron: sometimes things seems so clear, worry is not an event ..... what is the fulcrum
Adams Rubble: Does there have to be a fulcrum?
Caledonia Heron: naw, but there is some difference between ok and worry, some tipping place
Pema Pera is checking fulcrum on wikipedia; "Fulcrum (Anglican think tank), a Church of England think tank"
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Caledonia Heron: lol, well, now I know!
Korii Tiger: the support, or point of rest, on which a lever turns in moving a body.
Adams Rubble: Isn't more just dropping the worry and not being part of a lever?
Caledonia Heron: I'm seeing the window today, less of the view .... meh
Adams Rubble: not swinging back and forth
Caledonia Heron: the mind is a busy place
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Pema Pera: yes indeed

Pema Pera: that reminds me, of Tarmel's note
Pema Pera: suggesting we take breaks here during sessions
    Caledonia Heron: deep breath
    Caledonia Heron: exhale
Adams Rubble: I am afraid I must go. bye everyone :)
    Caledonia Heron: bye Adams :)
    Pema Pera: Bye Adams!
Pema Pera: and yeah, for me it is time too -- RL calling at the hour . . . .
    Caledonia Heron: mmm , k
Pema Pera: good seeing you both again
    buddha Nirvana: hi :))
Pema Pera: and hello and goodbye Bud!
    Caledonia Heron: yes, same here
    buddha Nirvana: byelol)
    Caledonia Heron: hi buddha :)
    buddha Nirvana: hi:)
    Korii Tiger: bye Pema..
    Caledonia Heron: bye buddha :)
    Korii Tiger: hi buddha
