The Guardian for this meeting was Eliza Madrigal, filling in for Quen. The comments are by Eliza Madrigal.

When I arrived at PaB pavillion, Corvi was sitting alone wearing a beautiful, deep red dress.

    Eliza Madrigal: Morning :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: Mornin
Eliza Madrigal: You look pretty in red :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: thank you.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: I was admiring that fall of long brown hair on you as you came in.
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, thank you :)
Eliza Madrigal: I went blond for a few days but it just doesn't fit
Corvuscorva Nightfire: blonde is hard in sl anyway
Corvuscorva Nightfire: to find one that doesn't look too white or yellow.
Eliza Madrigal: Do you think so? Ah, yes, that's true
Eliza Madrigal: Were you here to fill in for quen, or shall I?
Corvuscorva Nightfire: either, i didn't looke at email this morning, so i didn't know she needed it, but i'd be delighted.
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, no... I just wasn't sure :) I offtered to do it a week ago
Corvuscorva Nightfire: ah..then i'll let you.
Eliza Madrigal: but there wasn't a response at the time... so just checking :)
Eliza Madrigal: How are you this morning ?
Eliza Madrigal: (Is it morning for you?)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: yes, east coast.
    Eliza Madrigal: Me too :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: mmhmm
Eliza Madrigal: Everything is well I hope
Corvuscorva Nightfire: I used to read all the logs.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: and somehow have a handle on most of our time zones.
    Eliza Madrigal: sharp memory
Corvuscorva Nightfire: all is well for me, and for you?
Corvuscorva Nightfire: mm..for some odd things..
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Corvuscorva Nightfire: but not for things like nouns and names.
Eliza Madrigal: This has been an odd week.... I've had four straight days of 'glitches'... meaning I'll go out for something in particular... do a dozen things and come home without that the item...
Corvuscorva Nightfire: i can never remember the name of movies.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: ah
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: nods.
Eliza Madrigal: or have a conversation with someone and half way through it isn't who I thought...
    Eliza Madrigal: So odd :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire smiles.
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I'm like that with movies also!!
Corvuscorva Nightfire: sounds like me tired or overloaded.
Eliza Madrigal: yes, I think that's it. I don't feel that way but I'm paying attention to 'the signs'

This is true. It seems quite important to pay attention to those little patterns when they crop up. Perhaps that way we prevent catching the flu or making a larger mistake that takes more cleaning up after?

    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods, grins.
Eliza Madrigal: This morning I was thinking about relationships and entanglements... levels of friendships and connecting with some people 'instantly'...
Eliza Madrigal: and knowing others one's whole life and not connecting....
Corvuscorva Nightfire nods, tilting her head in interest.
Eliza Madrigal: It seems to be about inner ways of seeing things... not the things that are seen :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods...thoughtfully.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: for me it seems..that there is a quality of hearing and being heard.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: paying attention..
Corvuscorva Nightfire: it can be cultivated..that's what the idea of compassion seems to me?
Eliza Madrigal: Yes, that is quite a thought...
Corvuscorva Nightfire: but..there are people who hear each of us without any hard work atall.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: who are already the right person to hear us..and to be heard by us.
Eliza Madrigal: That certainly seems to be the case, yes.
Eliza Madrigal: That capacity can be cultivated, and yet there are situations and particular things that connect people
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Corvuscorva Nightfire considers the idea of how those things are cultivated.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: I think i take it back about compassion.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: hearing and being heard are part of it.
    Eliza Madrigal: empathetic intention
Corvuscorva Nightfire: not directing...not owning..not creating for the other person, not doing...is another part.
Eliza Madrigal: The phrase "fortune favors the prepared mind..." I think can be expanded... that there is an intention toward cultiation and a willingness to accept others
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, not owning. yes.. now there is a topic :)

    Sophia arrives

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi sophia :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: hmm..yes.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: Hi, Sophia.
sophia Placebo: hello eliza , corv
Corvuscorva Nightfire: oh..the pencils in your hair!!!!
Corvuscorva Nightfire: /em grins..now that is a blonde in sl worth wearing!!!
    sophia Placebo: lol yep :)
    Eliza Madrigal: !! that's great!
Corvuscorva Nightfire: ((Sophia has a dark, realistic blonde hair that has a bun in the back secured with two crossed pencils!)
Eliza Madrigal: :) Corvi is so professional :)
sophia Placebo: its no transfer :(
    Corvuscorva Nightfire snickers.
Eliza Madrigal: one moment... I feel washed out....
Corvuscorva Nightfire: oh..don't worry..but if you have a landmark!!!
Eliza Madrigal: there, a little better :)
Eliza Madrigal: Now we are jeweled... deep blue, red, and green... :)
sophia Placebo: it was a group gift , not sure if it stell as such though
Corvuscorva Nightfire: oh yes..we are! so very pretty, too.
Eliza Madrigal: .. we are three jewels...
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
    Corvuscorva Nightfire grins.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: so...
Corvuscorva Nightfire: we were talking about connections between people, Sophia
Eliza Madrigal: yes, and the workings of compassion :)
Corvuscorva Nightfire: how some people we connect with quickly and others..never.
sophia Placebo: i see , i love this topic
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Adams! :)
sophia Placebo: cuz i always want to connect with as many as possble , but that was sadly almost impossible :)

    Adams arrives

    sophia Placebo: hi adams
Adams Rubble: Hello Eliza, Corvi and Sophia :)
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: Adams!
Eliza Madrigal: Adams, we were talking a bit about the understructure of connections between people
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Fefonz :)
    Adams Rubble: Hello fef :)
    sophia Placebo: hi fef
Fefonz Quan: Good morning everyone :)
Adams Rubble wonders what that might mean
Eliza Madrigal: Have you had the experience of knowing someone for a short time and instantly being "bonded" though there is nothing on the surface that would suggest that to be the case....
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: yes
    Adams Rubble: yes
Eliza Madrigal: and become 'entangled' ...
sophia Placebo: in retrospect yes , but i have no alert system at that moment
Fefonz Quan: i had it slightly, though many times this 'bondage' i feel comes from discovering you share similar ideas, concepts, areas of interest etc.
Adams Rubble: entangled suggests spmething different to me
Eliza Madrigal: there seems to be an hidden structure or accessing of a certain place that opens up, or that's how I'd put it
    Eliza Madrigal: yes Adams?
Fefonz Quan: and reverse memory comes to mind too
Adams Rubble better listen for a while having come late
    Fefonz Quan: (right) :)
Eliza Madrigal: Corvi was suggesting that it often has to do with quality of listening...and we mentioned capacity...
Adams Rubble: :) Corvi is a great listener :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: yesterday we talked about compassion too... and cultivating appreciation... and it seems that when you do that doors swing open on the inside...
Eliza Madrigal: a breeze blows through and makes others feel more welcome perhaps :)
    Adams Rubble nods
sophia Placebo: smiling too , smiley poeple got connected to varaiety of poeple in comparision to non smiley one
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal can be overly smiley.. is trying to watch that. hah
    Adams Rubble: :)
Eliza Madrigal: So maybe, like Fefonz was saying, one arrives somewhere based on interest or memory... but there is another level
Eliza Madrigal: (these aren't formed thoughts, but I'm intersted in the ideas around entanglement... and those particles which after being around one another are never separated though they may not be 'near' one another...
Adams Rubble: would you define what you mean by entanglement?
Corvuscorva Nightfire: like in physics, Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: Ah... not having all my scientific terms is tough...yes
Eliza Madrigal: there are many parallels don't you think?
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: mmhmm
Eliza Madrigal: and seems to at least touch on what happens when we bond with people, or have that sense of instant knowing of someone... strange to describe
Adams Rubble: do mean entanglement in a positive sense as opposed ot getting into a relationship that is uncomfortable for some reason?
Eliza Madrigal: I definitely mean both :))
Eliza Madrigal: I think it is more pleasant to talk about the positive aspects of course...
Eliza Madrigal: but it certainly has implications to the other :)
Eliza Madrigal: It seems a 'direct' thing.. a direct knowing of sorts, which reminds me of other discussions.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Eliza Madrigal: But that's about all I have to say :)
Eliza Madrigal: Okay... maybe I have more then...wondered if the arising discussion was connected to this in some way also... and a biblical idea of that where one suffers all suffer, one rejoices all rejoice
Eliza Madrigal: comes into play :)
    Adams Rubble: as entanglement?
Eliza Madrigal: yes, am I stretching too far?
Adams Rubble: yes I see that

Katrina, a lovely mermaid with a jelly fish swimming elegantly around her, arrives

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Katrina :)
Eliza Madrigal: You're welcome to swim over and join us :)
    sophia Placebo: hi katrina
Katrina Idigo: Hello ã‹¡ Thank you
    Fefonz Quan: Hi Katrina
Eliza Madrigal: Have you been here before Katrina? :)
Katrina Idigo: No. This is my first time
    Adams Rubble: Hello Katrina
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, let me give you a note then....
Katrina Idigo: Good morning, Adams ã‹¡
Eliza Madrigal: We get together four times a day to talk about the nature of reality and such, and record our conversations...
Eliza Madrigal: Is it okay if we include you in that recording? (if not I can edit out no problem) :)
Katrina Idigo: Very interesting ã‹¡ Do you mind if I sit in and observe? Oh sure you can record me :)
Eliza Madrigal: Thanks... You are quite a vision!
Corvuscorva Nightfire: i'm thiking about sorrow and joy and compassion
sophia Placebo: we say if someone is easly appreached , easly goining and you get comfortable around him/her that his/her soul is light
Corvuscorva Nightfire: and thinking that compasssion is more about seeing what is.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: including joy and sorrow.
sophia Placebo: both light thats mean light, or light vesus heavy
Eliza Madrigal: nods to both corvi and sophia
    Adams Rubble nods too
Corvuscorva Nightfire: thinks about soul is light, easlily approached.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: some people i know who are very compassionate..
Corvuscorva Nightfire: would not be considered easy to approach.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: i wonder how that fits in.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: Sophia..you are from where?
sophia Placebo: me too , thinking about it now
    sophia Placebo: saudi arabia corv
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: so..that idea is from there, too...
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: ?
sophia Placebo: the soul light thing ? yes it is very common comment here
Eliza Madrigal: Hmm... makes me think of people whose presence lightens others burdens
Adams Rubble: people are born outgoing or introverted. Compassion seems to be something we learn
Eliza Madrigal: like favorite grammas :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Adams, yes
    sophia Placebo: agrees with eliza:))

    Corvi shares a lovely relationship

Corvuscorva Nightfire grins...and yet..it may take some persistance to meet and understand that favorite grandma.
    sophia Placebo: re grammas
Corvuscorva Nightfire: when i was very little..i hated one of mine.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: it took my whole life so far to get to know her..
Corvuscorva Nightfire: but about 10 years ago..at about 30...i learned who she was as a human being..
Corvuscorva Nightfire: and she has fed me as a human being since then.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: our compassion for each other has grown and grown..and both our souls are lighter for it.
Adams Rubble: that's wonderful that you had that realization Corvi
Eliza Madrigal: Lovely Corvi...You reached through the image/impression to 'her', and she must have reached back through whatever had caused her to create the image?
    Fefonz Quan nods
Corvuscorva Nightfire: we just became entangled for no apparant reason.
sophia Placebo: thats great corv :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Corvuscorva Nightfire: and leaned to hear each other for what we were.
    Eliza Madrigal: Beautiful :)

Corvuscorva Nightfire: oh..i gotta go to work!!!
Adams Rubble: oh, bye Corvi :)
    sophia Placebo: bye corv :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) Bye Corvi, glad you stopped by!
Fefonz Quan: Bue COrvi, have a great day :)
Katrina Idigo: Nice to meet you Corv
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: bye!!
Eliza Madrigal: A relationship like that is so nurturing...deeply nurturing
Adams Rubble: I need to go to. Must look at an art exhibit before I leave SL
    Adams Rubble: bye everyone :)
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Adams, good to see you :)
    sophia Placebo: bye adams
Katrina Idigo: Good day Adams ã‹¡
Adams Rubble: hehe. It must be down :)
Adams Rubble: so much for modern technology (giggles)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Even tech needs down time I think :)
Eliza Madrigal: sophia, you've given me a lovely image... of a house with open doors and windows... flooded with light... a lamp on a hill
    sophia Placebo: i did ?
Eliza Madrigal: yes... talking about light and smiley people
    Eliza Madrigal: hehehe
    sophia Placebo: :)))
Eliza Madrigal: a bazillion rooms and a dozen libraries
Eliza Madrigal: (Fef you are so quiet)
sophia Placebo: the thing is i think is not to given up on the good inside everyone around you starting from oneself and passing through those who would share you that house
    Eliza Madrigal: MMM yes!!
Eliza Madrigal: compassion sometimes means knowing the 'good' is there even when we can't see it at all
    Adams Rubble nods
sophia Placebo: light brings light , rejoyce brings rejoyce
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Fefonz Quan: [8:10] Eliza Madrigal: (Fef you are so quiet)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Fefonz Quan: yes i was still catching up on teh talk subject
Eliza Madrigal: Ah.. did the subject move while you were catching ti?
Fefonz Quan: before having somethign interesting to say...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Fefonz Quan: [7:35] Adams Rubble better listen for a while having come late
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Adams Rubble bathered anyway
    Adams Rubble: blathered
Adams Rubble: Please don;t everyone say bye again> i am going for real this time :)
Eliza Madrigal sits on her hands
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Eliza Madrigal: I'm becoming quite self-conscious about talking 'too much' lately... trying to measure better...
    sophia Placebo: :)
Fefonz Quan: i think you are saying very interesting things Eliza
    Katrina Idigo: Indeed.
Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Fefonz. it is sometimes hard to tell
    Eliza Madrigal: And Katrina. :)
Eliza Madrigal: It is par for the course I'm sure...finding a balance

    VALIDATION!

sophia Placebo: you reminde me of a short film on youtube named validation , anyone watched it?
Eliza Madrigal: Valication? No, but I will look it up. What is it about?
Katrina Idigo: Validation is a wonderful film
    sophia Placebo: smiling eliza
sophia Placebo: and its magical effect
Katrina Idigo: It really makes you think... the power of the smile ã‹¡
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah!!
sophia Placebo: it makes you smile , im smiling now
    Fefonz Quan: link, someone?
Eliza Madrigal: I'm smiling hugely too, and I haven't seen it yet
    Katrina Idigo: Indeed. ã‹¡
    sophia Placebo: wait
    Katrina Idigo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cbk980jV7Ao
Katrina Idigo: hehe it's in my favs
    sophia Placebo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cbk980jV7Ao
Eliza Madrigal: HAHAH! Okay...this is great so far :)
Fefonz Quan: sounds very worth watching, but it is long, so i woudnlt do it now...
Eliza Madrigal: yes...I'm pausing to finish it later..but those first few snippets!
Eliza Madrigal: So true... hyperbole, but true :)
Eliza Madrigal: A smile is an awarness of others isn't it? It is "YOU are great!"
Fefonz Quan: yes yeah, it is cool :)
Fefonz Quan: (didnt turn it off yet...)
Katrina Idigo: hehe I am watching it again ã‹¡

    Sophia makes us smile

sophia Placebo: it is more about how are poeple could be so attracted to the good word that comes out of you about them more that their attraction to you in person , it makes them smile and their smile makes you feel smiling from inside

Eliza Madrigal: "I'm happy to see YOU!"
    Eliza Madrigal: Nice
    sophia Placebo: :))
Eliza Madrigal: Katrina, love your pic BTW
sophia Placebo: yep a sign of connection btw poeple too
Eliza Madrigal: yes, we are dependent on others' kindness
Katrina Idigo: Oh thank you ã‹¡
sophia Placebo: see you later , nice to meet you good poeple :)
    Fefonz Quan: Bye Sophia :)
Katrina Idigo: Nice to meet you as well Sophia. Has been wonderful
Eliza Madrigal: Bye sophia, always a pleasure
Katrina Idigo: I think I will visit the library to learn more about this wonderful group. Thank you for inviting me to join in.
Eliza Madrigal: Marvelous Katrina. So nice to meet you!
Fefonz Quan: you are welcome. i guess you got the link to our wiki site?
Katrina Idigo: yes ã‹¡ I have a lot of reading :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Fefonz Quan: Have fun :)
    Katrina Idigo: Thank you ã‹¡
Eliza Madrigal: "misticism at its best" F. Q. :)
    Fefonz Quan: ??
Eliza Madrigal: You said that about the fountain
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Fefonz Quan: ah, ok,
Eliza Madrigal: I think Katrina would enjoy meeting Fael, who has a lovely mermaid who swims around her now :)
    Fefonz Quan: :)
Fefonz Quan: yes, i liked the gelly fish too
Eliza Madrigal: that was great...so pretty
Fefonz Quan: yes, all in all a very well designed mermaid
Fefonz Quan: wit entanglement, the memory i mentioned shortly was of the futue
    Fefonz Quan: future*
Eliza Madrigal: yes? Please go on if you have time
Fefonz Quan: just a theory i heard, but soemtimes when we meet someone and feel we are connected, never have met him before, and then he becomes important for us -
Fefonz Quan: some say, that this is a 'presque-vu' - an early knowledge about the future and his part in it, that gives us this feeling .
    Eliza Madrigal: Ahhh, that's fascinating
Eliza Madrigal: like a glimpse out of time
Fefonz Quan: yes. becasue surely when you meet someone you do know, you have this feeling of familiarity due to past memories of him in your life
Eliza Madrigal: So, a pre-familiarity is what you mean
    Fefonz Quan: yes.
Fefonz Quan: (surely it seems like an egg and en here, or prophet that manifest itself, but i point out the possibility)
    Fefonz Quan: hen*
    Fefonz Quan: prophecy*
    Eliza Madrigal: yes I understand....
Eliza Madrigal: these angles all seem to come together at a certain 'place' but I have a difficult time articulating a question around that
Fefonz Quan: yes. yet just letting it float in our consciousness may be a good way too :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes.. some of these things have been floating for years...
Eliza Madrigal: and there is a certain excitement in hearing others talk about the edges :)
    Fefonz Quan: yes :)
Fefonz Quan: and some hope that all this floatings around, one day will solidify spontanously into a firm realization, like an amorphic fluid into a crystal
Eliza Madrigal: that's part of the hope, certainly
Fefonz Quan: I need to go, Good to see you Eliza!
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Fefonz, you too.
    Fefonz Quan: _/!\_
    Eliza Madrigal: Namste
    Eliza Madrigal: Namaste'
