The Guardian for this meeting was Aphrodite Macbain. The comments are by Aphrodite Macbain.

There were so many interweaving threads of conversaton that I took the liberty of untangling them and connecting them in some form of logical order. A.M.

    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Qt
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Qt!
    Aphrodite Macbain: Benvenuto
    Qt Core: hi Aph, Bruce
Aphrodite Macbain: How are you Qt?
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hia Wol
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Wol!
    --BELL--
Wol Euler: hello bruce, aph, qt
    Aphrodite Macbain: here comes Eliza
Qt Core: quite good, ty. You ?
    Qt Core: hi Wol, Eliza
    Aphrodite Macbain: Smiles at Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Hey, Qt, seems soooo long since I've seen you
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Aph, Bruce, Wol
    Qt Core: :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Eliza!

Art history lecture held at noon.

Aphrodite Macbain: How was the lecture on Borabodur?
    Aphrodite Macbain: sp?
    Eliza Madrigal: *what* a site
    Wol Euler: fantastic
    Aphrodite Macbain: nods. I gather
Wol Euler: very simply made, but utterly convincing
Eliza Madrigal: fantastic, and Adams is so clear
    Wol Euler: lovely
Aphrodite Macbain: great praise from an architect
    Wol Euler smiles.
Aphrodite Macbain: It is a Buddhist site?
    Aphrodite Macbain: Muslim? Hindu?
Eliza Madrigal: please excuse me just a few minutes... need to make tea (have been online a lot today)
    Wol Euler: buddhist
    Eliza Madrigal: Buddhist
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Aphrodite Macbain: apparently one of the best -whatever "best" means in this context
    Aphrodite Macbain: simple? strong? classic?
Wol Euler: best probably just means "best" :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: grins
ApBruce Mowbray: relativism is built into the language -- good, better, best . . . so right at home, Aph.
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)I'm afraid I'm a relativist

Aphrodite Macbain: I think I'll wait a few more minutes before we continue our discussions on themed meetings

Bruce Mowbray: would anyone mind if I lowered the fountain?
    Aphrodite Macbain: Please do Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: kk. thanks.

Aphrodite Macbain: I am not sure what criteria to use to evaluate a Buddhist temple
    Wol Euler: go ahead
Wol Euler: 1) looks nice / does not
    Aphrodite Macbain: depending on taste...
Wol Euler: 2) pleasing aspect / uncomfortable aspect
    Wol Euler: of course :)
Wol Euler: 3) emotionally communicative / emotionally constrained
Wol Euler: would be my criteria, off the top of my head
Aphrodite Macbain: is it better to be emotionally communicative or emotionally constrained?
Wol Euler: depends on the person feeling the emotion, I guess
    Wol Euler: could be overwhelming
    Aphrodite Macbain: my point exactly...
    Aphrodite Macbain:  :-0
Wol Euler: could be a negative emotion
    Aphrodite Macbain: nods

Aphrodite Macbain: like fear or anger which might be exactly what the sculptor/architect wanted
Wol Euler: that is then a fourth criterion, Aph: did the creator achieve what s/he set out to do?

Qt Core: may i add alive/deserted ? I was shocked when while logging in with V3 the sim in the "what's hot today" where all noted with 0 people present at the moment

    Zon Kwan: heya
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Zon

    Qt Core: hi Zon
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Zon.

Bruce Mowbray: I meditated at a Buddhist temple in New York the last time I was there. . . Bragged about having the "largest Buddha in America" -- which was encircled by a blue neon-light....
Bruce Mowbray: and staff people were yelling back and forth the whole time I was meditating there.
    Aphrodite Macbain: hmmm
Bruce Mowbray: I will not return, for sure.
    Wol Euler: heheeh
Aphrodite Macbain: yes that is a good one
    Aphrodite Macbain: @Wol not Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: Bigger Buddha is not necessarily Better Buddha.
    Wol Euler nods.

    Themed discussions

    Aphrodite Macbain: sooo...
Aphrodite Macbain: to the theme topic at hand: themed discussions
Aphrodite Macbain: we talked about this yesterday at Bruce's session
Aphrodite Macbain: it seems there are two major issues:

Wol Euler: and Korel and I talked with Raffi about yesterday's session this morning :)

    Bruce Mowbray listens.
    Wol Euler listens.
Aphrodite Macbain: 1. Themed discussions and what purpose the serve
    Aphrodite Macbain: and
Aphrodite Macbain: 2. The manner in which these discussions are carried out
Aphrodite Macbain: Do you think that covers it?
    Eliza Madrigal: sure
    Aphrodite Macbain: Bruce/? Wol?
    Wol Euler: for now, yes
    Aphrodite Macbain: KK
Wol Euler: perhaps more will occur to us
Bruce Mowbray: well, also, whether our sessions here affirms the practices . . . esp. the PaB practices.
Aphrodite Macbain: so, perhaps we can discuss the 1st large issue
Aphrodite Macbain: that relates to "1. Themed discussions and what purpose the serve", the purpose being to serve PABs mission to understand or explore reality and being "a lab" to do this
Aphrodite Macbain: The lab, in this case, being a forum for themed discussions
Aphrodite Macbain: Does that make sense?
Eliza Madrigal: I think topics often give us a mutual focus that carries into RL... life as a lab doesn't only take place here
    Aphrodite Macbain: Good point Eliza.
Aphrodite Macbain: It is not just for PAB but for the members of PAB in their real lives as well

    -BELL--

Bruce Mowbray: “Play as Being is a group of people exploring reality by using our own life as a laboratory. A thought experiment to see what is left if we put down what we have. Can we make conjectures, hypotheses about what Being could be, and play with those in our day-to-day life? What happens when we do? The best way to find out is to just give it a try.” from the PaB wiki
Aphrodite Macbain: Wonderful quote Bruce. Thanks

Eliza Madrigal: we focus here in a concentrated way so that when we are on our own, there is that support and a place to return to also with our observations and questions
Eliza Madrigal: or at least some topics are like that --- explorations
Aphrodite Macbain: So, if we agree that these sessions that happen 4 times a day, help to do this, are themed discussions the best way to go?
Aphrodite Macbain: Do we all agree that themed discussions are useful in serving this purpose (you have just described?)
Eliza Madrigal: I do, not that all sessions should be theme sessions but I like it when something carries over through many sessions
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, but often a theme will emerge during the first part of a session. . .
    Wol Euler nods.
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Bruce Mowbray: perhaps guardians could be more sensitive to holding that "frame" - - -
    Aphrodite Macbain: Nods.

Bruce Mowbray: or at least helping others direct their attention to it.
Eliza Madrigal: that seems key, Bruce, checking in and sensitivity

Bruce Mowbray: As a guardian, I am usually worried that I might seem autocratic if I try to focus a discussion. .
Bruce Mowbray: unless I announce a theme beforehand.

Qt Core: i feel (maybe it is only a language trick) to call them “session with a theme” more than “themed sessions”.

    Aphrodite Macbain: you're right Qt

We can perhaps talk now about HOW we will have these themed discussions.

Aphrodite Macbain: There have been some suggestions:

    Bleu Oleander: hiya :)
    Wol Euler: hello bleu
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Bleu.
    Qt Core: hi bleu

Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Bleu. We have agreed that themed discussions are useful to serve PAB’s purpose. Now we are looking at how these themes can emerge.
Aphrodite Macbain: So, let's think about the VARIETY of ways we can approach this.
Aphrodite Macbain: 1. Have a theme emerge from each group session

Bleu Oleander: did you think that themes were good for all sessions? or some?
Wol Euler: nothing is good for *all* sessions IMHO :)

    Wol Euler: hello korel
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Kori!
    Eliza Madrigal: Hey Korel :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: This is hard...
    Korel Laloix: Heya
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Korel

    Bleu Oleander: hi Korel :)
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Korel Laloix smiles

Aphrodite Macbain: So- themes can emerge from a session or not
Qt Core: it may emerge from some kind of "today i felt/saw ..." from whomever is present
    Wol Euler: of course
Aphrodite Macbain: nods. But that rarely happens in my experience
Eliza Madrigal: I feel it is good to at least offer a focus
Bruce Mowbray: Not necessary to have themes set up for all sessions. . . only to be sensitive to PaB's philosophy and to emergence of themes from the group.
Eliza Madrigal: or to make space for someone to bring a concern
    Eliza Madrigal: yes Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: yes, to make space.. TY, Eliza.
    Qt Core: agree with Bruce
Bleu Oleander: (throwing my showing up late personal opinion ... I like some spontaneity mixed with some themes

Eliza Madrigal: and at times it is okay to ask everyone to take up one thing, and put off another to later in the session

Aphrodite Macbain:2.Another suggestion was to have one theme for the week that can be explored, or not, in each of the sessions. It is just an option.
Aphrodite Macbain: what do people think of that?

    Wol Euler: hello again raffi
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Raffila
    Aphrodite Macbain waves at Raffi

Korel Laloix: A week may be a bit much for a focus.
    Wol Euler reads back
Aphrodite Macbain: one theme per week
Eliza Madrigal: I like that... at least a 'potential topic for consideration' but how would it be chosen
Qt Core: 28 session with only one theme? Isn’t it too much (especially for "frequent fliers"?
    Raffila Millgrove: all week long?
    Raffila Millgrove: isn't that overkill?
Korel Laloix: Maybe one time slot per week at most.
Eliza Madrigal: just to set something on the table
Bleu Oleander: theme of the week as a suggestion/inspiration?
Korel Laloix: Depends on the topic.
Aphrodite Macbain: that can be explored, or not in each of the sessions. It is an option
Korel Laloix: I could go on for months on some topics.

Aphrodite Macbain: Yesterday there was a concern expressed that we never went deeply enough into the topic - that it came and went without everybody being heard.
Korel Laloix: Sometimes people don't really respond to some topics.
Bruce Mowbray: and also, going slow enough with the conversation. . .
    Korel Laloix: That has happened.
Aphrodite Macbain: So if we had a topic for the week it could be explored or not.
Qt Core: that said a week may be the interval (for?) unconscious need to elaborate something
    Eliza Madrigal: yes, time
Qt Core: you may get it after a couple days
Aphrodite Macbain: yesterday Zen expressed a concern that he felt what he was saying wasn’t heard
Korel Laloix: And really there are few topics that are so narrow that you can't have a few chats about them.
Eliza Madrigal: and as with happiness, it was surprising how different the angles were from a very 'simple' topic
Aphrodite Macbain: Yes- Even now I still find differing views on that subject

Aphrodite Macbain: But it is up to the group to discuss the topic further.
Eliza Madrigal: I remember that if something came up and it didn't have time to go into deeply, Pema would sort of notice and make a follow up theme session.
Korel Laloix: I find it interesting that the most in depth topic for discussion recently has been “topics for discussion.”
    Wol Euler: hehehehe

Aphrodite Macbain: That was our intention. :-)

Bleu Oleander: happiness seemed to expand as a topic ... some others seem to contract in some ways
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Korel
Aphrodite Macbain: So can we say that a topic is proposed every Monday or Sunday that can be discussed or  not for the rest of the week?
    Korel Laloix: I like themes.
Eliza Madrigal: how would it be proposed?
Qt Core: maybe with a mail announcement

    Mickorod Renard: hi
    Bleu Oleander: hi Mick
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Mick :)
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Mick, you ol' fractal dude!
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Zen!
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hey Zen :)
    Zen Arado: Hi all
    Wol Euler: hello mick, zen
    Aphrodite Macbain waves at Mick
    Bleu Oleander: hi Zen :)

Aphrodite Macbain: Well Eliza, the group on Sunday could propose it. Or a GOC.
Bleu Oleander: would you have suggestions made and put into a virtual hat in some way?
Eliza Madrigal: if at guardian sessions it would be every two weeks
Aphrodite Macbain: yes Bleu. We have lots of suggestions available. The hat is large
Eliza Madrigal: Oh yes we talked about doing something like that actually Bleu... remember...

Bruce Mowbray: As I understand the principal statement -- Play as Being is a group of people exploring reality by using our own life as a laboratory. A thought experiment to see what is left if we put down what we have. Can we make conjectures, hypotheses about what Being could be, and play with those in our day-to-day life? What happens when we do? The best way to find out is to just give it a try. --
Bruce Mowbray: themes are to be taken lightly.

Bruce Mowbray: "play with those" - - both in Sl and RL... so, I would caution against getting overly formal about setting up themes in advance... better to "make space for them to emerge" IMHO.

Wol Euler: I would hope there would be room for commonsense and sensitivity in all sessions too
Wol Euler: if somebody absolutely has to talk about X then we should respect that
Aphrodite Macbain: I would assume that Wol.
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Eliza Madrigal: of course
Aphrodite Macbain: All we are doing is making themes available to use
Bruce Mowbray: I agree with Wol.

    --BELL--

Bleu Oleander: maybe (the list could be on) a page on the wiki?

Aphrodite Macbain: Are u suggesting we choose 2 topics each Guardian session Eliza?
Aphrodite Macbain: Then the theme would THERE if we need it. But it doesn't have to be used
Aphrodite Macbain: promoting it on Sunday evening would be a good idea
Aphrodite Macbain: via email and by notice

Aphrodite Macbain: we can list all the proposed topics on a page on the wiki - Bleu great idea
Bleu Oleander: would you tie the theme to the 90 sec breaks and to reports afterwards?
Aphrodite Macbain: Hmm I don’t know Bleu -

Eliza Madrigal: well, we could certainly do as Aph suggests... try it out
Eliza Madrigal: and I can include the themes when I announce the posting of the guardian log

Bleu Oleander: would the themes then not be tied to the practice?
Eliza Madrigal: I would echo Bruce "take it lightly" and just "offer" as Aph says
    Aphrodite Macbain: Yes
Bruce Mowbray: I like the idea of having themes available --
Aphrodite Macbain: The idea is that if no one HAS a topic to discuss we could use the "theme of the week"
Aphrodite Macbain: one theme per week otherwise things will get very confused
Bruce Mowbray: in the wings, waiting, offered . . . if the group is willing and of a mind to do it.
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes Bruce
Aphrodite Macbain: pre-decided by the Guardian group on Sunday
Bleu Oleander: often the question of "does anyone have a theme" is put out in a way that ignores the practice aspect of PaB
    Aphrodite Macbain: right.
    Eliza Madrigal: yes Bleu
Bruce Mowbray: I can foresee that this will involve a weaving together of sessions . . . throughout the week -- making for group-cohesiveness. Good!
Aphrodite Macbain: I guess the themes that are in the “bag” all relate in some way to PAB's vision
Eliza Madrigal: one of my questions is, “Is there still that aspect (PaB's vision)... do people want that?”

Bleu Oleander: most sessions happen and one would not even know there was a practice in a way
Mickorod Renard: I like the idea of reminding ourselves that its an exploration; nothing hard and fast; fun but hopefully fulfilling in our personal aims at inner peace and so forth
    Aphrodite Macbain: Yes, me too.
Bleu Oleander: so maybe most want a discussion group more than a practice?
Aphrodite Macbain: We are not just a social club
    Aphrodite Macbain: say more Blue?
Bruce Mowbray: YES, AN EXPLORATION -- LOVE THAT CONCEPT.
Bruce Mowbray: oops, sry about caps.
Mickorod Renard: exploration was in the piece you pasted Bruce, the original concept
    Bleu Oleander: yes

Bruce Mowbray: yes, Mick, that's a copy/paste from the PaB wiki

Aphrodite Macbain: yes - a lab- for exploration
    Aphrodite Macbain: and sharing

Bleu Oleander: I think that's a question/decision that needs to happen before we choose themes?
Aphrodite Macbain: I don’t understand Blue.
Aphrodite Macbain: discussion rather than practice? apples and oranges..
Bleu Oleander: well, the diff is that the themes should tie into the practice in some way?
Aphrodite Macbain: oh and discussions don’t?
Bleu Oleander: to include reflection during the breaks?
Aphrodite Macbain: What do other people think of this question?
Bleu Oleander: many discussions happen that don't regard the breaks at all

Bleu Oleander: just asking ... not giving an opinion
Aphrodite Macbain: Personally I find the breaks important
Aphrodite Macbain: for a variety of reasons
Aphrodite Macbain: I assumed that was a given
    Mickorod Renard: what breaks,,sorry?
    Aphrodite Macbain: 90 second
    Bleu Oleander: 90 sec breaks
    Mickorod Renard: ahh
    Bleu Oleander: bell
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Bleu Oleander: just asking how that ties in
Aphrodite Macbain: You feel that the breaks feed into our practice Blue?
Aphrodite Macbain: but general discussions don’t consider breaks?
Bleu Oleander: sometimes seem separate to me
Aphrodite Macbain: We are now discussing process. (Item #2)
Bleu Oleander: I don't experience "reports" anymore ... more like a general social discussion
Mickorod Renard: I am happy either way..but without doubt the breaks have benefits of several kinds

Aphrodite Macbain: Can we return to the general principle of themes and how they are introduced and used?
    Bleu Oleander: sure, sorry

Aphrodite Macbain: Are we agreed that every 2 weeks we select 2 themes at the Guardian meeting; that these themes are posted on that Sunday and that the GOCs and others are free to use that theme in their "discussions" for the week?

Zen Arado: a short introduction to a theme gives people more to get their teeth into
    Zen Arado: a short presentation
Aphrodite Macbain: How the themes are introduced is then another issue Zen
Zen Arado: I just hope we can come up with enough

Aphrodite Macbain: I'm sure. We can keep adding to the pot

Bruce Mowbray: sure -- it's there as a suggestion -- and also a reminder of what PaB is about. I’m all for it, Aph?
Korel Laloix: Could you post those on a poster here instead of on the website?
Aphrodite Macbain: Hmm we could Korel but they will constantly be changing

Bruce Mowbray thinks his theme for this week might be "betrayal."
    Bruce Mowbray: but

Eliza Madrigal: email and word of mouth works pretty well
Aphrodite Macbain: We can post it on the wili
    Aphrodite Macbain: wiki
    Korel Laloix: Ok.
Wol Euler: why not a poster here? It’s a word on a prim, easily made
Bruce Mowbray: you're not posting it on MY wili!!!
    Aphrodite Macbain: lol
    Aphrodite Macbain: Bruce

Mickorod Renard: on reflection over the years the typical threads seem to meld into an overall and complimenting pot
Korel Laloix: Back in a bit...
    Aphrodite Macbain: bye

    --BELL—

    Aphrodite Macbain: OK great!
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Steve!
    Zen Arado: hi Steve
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hi Stevenaia
    Aphrodite Macbain: shhh
    Aphrodite Macbain: sorry again

Introducing and promoting the theme of the week

Aphrodite Macbain: Zen, I agree that the subject of the theme needs an introduction. Perhaps we can take turns with it or develop it as the week goes along with a summary at the end of the week...Too much work?
    Eliza Madrigal: yes :)
    Bleu Oleander: yes :)
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
Eliza Madrigal: if we would like many to be involved
    Aphrodite Macbain: Any other suggestions?
Bleu Oleander: let the theme have many interpretations

Eliza Madrigal: we could come up with two themes now and I can include them in my posting of the guardian session to the group
Eliza Madrigal: and we can 'try and see' in PaB style
Aphrodite Macbain: May I suggest that the theme isn't one word but a question?
Zen Arado: it is easier to do a short presentation if we personally find the theme interesting
Eliza Madrigal: could be either perhaps
Aphrodite Macbain: The question then gives more room for discussion
Bleu Oleander: either ... some themes lend themselves to one word ... some more to questions
Eliza Madrigal: we may not find it interesting at all at first
Eliza Madrigal: that is interesting in itself
Aphrodite Macbain: then maybe we don’t choose that theme!
    Eliza Madrigal: :) equanimity
Wol Euler: perhaps let it be what it is. If the theme is a word, let it be a word.
Aphrodite Macbain: Usually it's a word.
Mickorod Renard: I love that word if I ever remember it
    Wol Euler smiles.
Aphrodite Macbain: I find "what is happiness?" more useful than "happiness"
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Eliza Madrigal: so let's pick that one up as a topic :::puts on felt board::::
Zen Arado: discussion: what is a theme? :-)
    Aphrodite Macbain: Errg.
    Bleu Oleander: ha!
Zen Arado:  What is a good theme?
Aphrodite Macbain: Do you want me or Bruce to post the list that we have put together?
Bleu Oleander: stuck in a theme pit
Aphrodite Macbain: we have one. Bruce do you have yours handy?
Bruce Mowbray runs quickly and looks for his list....

Aphrodite Macbain: Can’t find mine Bruce
Aphrodite Macbain: didn't expect to have to do this now!!
Bruce Mowbray: I'll find mine -- but not sure it's a good idea to broadcast it yet.
    Aphrodite Macbain: why not Bruce?

Raffila Millgrove: broadcast what.. the theme?
Mickorod Renard: yes, what is a Bruce?
Aphrodite Macbain: The list of themes we have Raffila
Aphrodite Macbain: These themes were originally compiled to discuss at WOK
Aphrodite Macbain: a number of us made the list
Aphrodite Macbain: WOK=Ways of Knowing - which seems to have died a natural death
Aphrodite Macbain: so we have this great list if we can only find it...
    Bruce Mowbray: I found mine.
Bruce Mowbray: I would have to present it in segments, though.
stevenaia Michinaga: can it kept one place and have people add to it?
    stevenaia Michinaga: Google docs?

Aphrodite Macbain:In a wiki as previously suggested?

Bleu Oleander: so who decides themes?
Aphrodite Macbain: The Guardians every 2 weeks
    Bleu Oleander: kk
Aphrodite Macbain: But for today, Eliza suggests we chose one now
stevenaia Michinaga: these Themes over many sessions?
Raffila Millgrove: a week Steve.. offered up...

Aphrodite Macbain: yes Stevenaia - a theme per week

    stevenaia Michinaga: :)

Eliza Madrigal: let me give an anecdote ... when my kids were little, a friend made this little game...
Bruce Mowbray stops running and listens.
Eliza Madrigal: it was a simple game of Popsicle sticks... and on each side, was a word...
Eliza Madrigal: and what we'd do, is throw the sticks , two at a time, onto the table...
Eliza Madrigal: and whatever came up, we'd work with that
Bleu Oleander: I like it ... virtual popsicle sticks
    Bruce Mowbray: wonderful, Eliza.
Eliza Madrigal: could get very creative

Qt Core: (to simplify the theme choice there may be a wiki page where people can suggest them
Aphrodite Macbain: Yes that's what we suggested Qt

Bleu Oleander: drum roll ... and the next week's theme is .......
    Zen Arado: lost theme’s theme
Bleu Oleander: so we need 2 themes, one for next week and one for week after?
Zen Arado: a good source of themes
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bruce Mowbray: I could send the list out to all guardians, if you wish.
Zen Arado: discussions often can branch into other areas
Bleu Oleander: so the theme is for the sessions but could also go to email group?
    Bruce Mowbray loves fractalized discussions.
Zen Arado: perhaps a deeper theme becomes uncovered
    Zen Arado: a richer seam

Aphrodite Macbain: Yes, there is no time now especially if you want to go to Bertram’s meditation session at 2:00
Eliza Madrigal: pab is a bit different than WoK though... so as much as that is a good idea, we do need to be a bit lighter than would be possible with homework and reports
Bruce Mowbray: kk. Shall I send the list to all Guardians, then?

Aphrodite Macbain: yes but we need to decide on a theme today.
Aphrodite Macbain: Perhaps they can be discussed at the 7pm session tonight
Mickorod Renard: yes, i am no good at homework
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)

Raffila Millgrove: i have come to two sessions now. two hours. i didn't hear a topic. it's not that i think i am important. i am not.. but to me.. my time is.
Aphrodite Macbain: Can you suggest a topic Raffila?
Raffila Millgrove: why not start with something simple like.. “what has the nine seconds meant to you?
    Bleu Oleander: agree Raffi
Raffila Millgrove: start something basic like that…that is at the Heart of the PaB.
Mickorod Renard: I need to remember that word,,that would be a good topic,,whatever it was,,ahh yes “equanimity”
    Aphrodite Macbain: OK
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Mick
Aphrodite Macbain: SO they are themes about principle (equanimity) and process (90 second break)
Eliza Madrigal: have taken that as my focus for the year actually Mick
    Wol Euler: nice, eliza
    Zen Arado: a good start
Mickorod Renard: me too I think, i practice
Bleu Oleander: has a few meanings/interpretations
Aphrodite Macbain: OK Is that what the themes are? Equanimity and the 90 second pause?
Eliza Madrigal: loves Raffi's idea... so why not 90 seconds and equanimity
    Aphrodite Macbain: sure Ok
Eliza Madrigal: for the next two weeks
Aphrodite Macbain: have fun with it on Monday, Eliza!!
    --BELL--
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: >whew<
    Zen Arado: going to meditation
    Aphrodite Macbain: Bertram
    Zen Arado: byee
Wol Euler: oh, time for Bruce's meditation
    Bleu Oleander: bye all :)
Aphrodite Macbain: waves goodbye to everyone
    Bruce Mowbray: Thank you, Aph.
    Mickorod Renard: bye Aph
