    stevenaia Michinaga: greeting samud
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Stev
    --BELL--
    oO0Oo Resident: Storm :)
    Storm Nordwind: Hello both
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Storm
stevenaia Michinaga: Samúð, point of information... the peeps you wear on your shirt are all made in my town
stevenaia Michinaga: (thought I heard the bell go off but seems not)
oO0Oo Resident: these are virtual peeps :)
stevenaia Michinaga: well, the RL once
    stevenaia Michinaga: ones
    oO0Oo Resident: ;)
stevenaia Michinaga: seems there are peeps for all seasons now
oO0Oo Resident: peeping in on peeps
stevenaia Michinaga: the many shapes of marshmellow
stevenaia Michinaga: one thing, many forms
Storm Nordwind: The only marshmallow that I'm interested in is this one: http://i.imgur.com/wPgoq.jpg
    oO0Oo Resident: delicate
    Storm Nordwind: and colorful http://i.imgur.com/rygUZ.jpg
stevenaia Michinaga: is this where marshmellow comes from?
Storm Nordwind: Yes. The sweet was made from the plant, especially the root, and named after it. Now no doubt artifical substitutes are used.
stevenaia Michinaga: like eating steak w/o knowing the cw
    stevenaia Michinaga: *cow
    Storm Nordwind smiles
Storm Nordwind: It was an important herb, and its Latin name was once a common name for girls
stevenaia Michinaga: Althaea officinalis, the plant's name?
Storm Nordwind: Yes. The girl's name is Althea
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
oO0Oo Resident: A Pearl of a name in my book.
    Storm Nordwind: Oh? :)
oO0Oo Resident: I like it. I do know an Althea.. fond of her.
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Raffila
    Storm Nordwind: Good evening Raffi
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Raffi
Storm Nordwind: It's also the middle name of one of my daughters. :)
    oO0Oo Resident: nice
Raffila Millgrove: hi all. i have close friend who changed her name to Althea.
    Storm Nordwind: Wow :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I would say how sweet but...
Storm Nordwind throws water at Steve
    stevenaia Michinaga: but I wont

    --BELL--

    stevenaia Michinaga: Hi san
    Santoshima Resident: hello :)
    Storm Nordwind: Hi San :)
    Raffila Millgrove: hi Santoshima
    oO0Oo Resident: brb
stevenaia Michinaga: cat arrived making it dificult to type
    Santoshima Resident: aww
Storm Nordwind: You'll need to paws
stevenaia Michinaga: I deserve that one
stevenaia Michinaga: he also enjoys Tai Chi with my feet, always seeks them out
Storm Nordwind: Or "push feet" perhaps?
    Santoshima Resident: haha
    stevenaia Michinaga: missed that one
Storm Nordwind: Something one might do in Tai Chi classes is "push hands" with another person.
    stevenaia Michinaga: aawww
    stevenaia Michinaga: slow tonight
Raffila Millgrove: i am doing some QiQong form called Lift Sky Push Mountain... seemed easy but somehow it really isn't.
Santoshima Resident: sounds not easy, sounds monumental
    stevenaia Michinaga: gets easier
    stevenaia Michinaga: forever
Raffila Millgrove: yeah it does doesn't it.. it looked really easy in the video.. but.. not so much when going alone in it. i can see where you need other people around... to keep you.. going a bit.
stevenaia Michinaga: it's the nice thing about it, it continues to get easier
Raffila Millgrove: i was going to use that as my 99 day thing til i realize.. that i am going to flake out.. so better not.
    Santoshima Resident: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I wouldn;t worry, people come and go in the 99 days
stevenaia Michinaga: make it your 10 days see what happens
    Raffila Millgrove: good suggestion steve.
    Raffila Millgrove: ty
stevenaia Michinaga: habits get made only when tried
Raffila Millgrove: well you know i told oyu how much i liked that dog in the videos..
Raffila Millgrove: and.. if the dog had written the 21 day emails.. i think i would not have lost heart.
stevenaia Michinaga: remind me about the dog
Raffila Millgrove: well the guy who is the master/teacher.. he is in his backyard.. and he has this wonderful dog.. who is so.. calm and happy and walking around thru the videos.. sniffing cheerfully. i really liked the dog..
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Santoshima Resident: .... slips out / pleasant evening everyone ...
    Storm Nordwind waves
Raffila Millgrove: i think if i had rec'd 21 days of photos of the dog.. i would have been less daunted. the master blew me away with his words.
    Raffila Millgrove: bye San.
    oO0Oo Resident waves
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye san
stevenaia Michinaga: so you do Qi Gong every day?
Raffila Millgrove: yes i try it every day. in the morning.

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: been think about the past 4 years here, the changes of such a simple practice has brought
    stevenaia Michinaga: *thinking
stevenaia Michinaga: pwehap no more dramatic then the previous 4 years, but with a place associated with the time, it has offered a marker to gage the time
stevenaia Michinaga: mile a milestone to begin a journey
    stevenaia Michinaga: Like a ...
Raffila Millgrove: what did you find on the journey so far Steve?
stevenaia Michinaga: feel like hansel and grettle, Only I have been consuming the breadcrumbs of wisdom dropped off here along the way
stevenaia Michinaga: like nurishment along with new friends
stevenaia Michinaga: what I found has been something to open my eyes to the experiences of others
stevenaia Michinaga: and to see what of that "fits"
stevenaia Michinaga: like when a puzzle goes together, you may see the piece but not the picture until you come across the right parts in the right arrangment
stevenaia Michinaga: the good news is... the puzzle is never complete :)
stevenaia Michinaga: or... it's always complete and forever changing
    Raffila Millgrove: thank you.
Storm Nordwind: That sounds like a soap opera that's actually worth watching! ;)
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
stevenaia Michinaga: forget which video I was watching about a questions asked of the Dali Lama, Question: When were you the Happiest... Answer w/o hesitation.... Now
stevenaia Michinaga: but I have a kitty sleeping in my arms which helps
    Storm Nordwind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8f-T7lgdLPI at 39:30
Storm Nordwind: But I have to say, I would have said the same. :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes, thank you
    stevenaia Michinaga: that was it

    --BELL--

Raffila Millgrove: ty for the link Storm. bookmarked for later.
Storm Nordwind: The entire video is worth watching. Though please slip the first 8:40 - unless you like light jazz filler music!
    Storm Nordwind: *skip
Raffila Millgrove: wow thanks for the tip.. that's a long intro.
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I was going to mention that
Raffila Millgrove: probably the only kind of music.. that opening.. that i don't care for.
Storm Nordwind: It was Bleu that brought the video to our attention. And it was the video that inspired me to build the meditation session on my guardian plot
Raffila Millgrove: what was it in the video.. that was pivotal.. Storm.. what inspired in it?
Storm Nordwind: You'll that the second speaker describes an experiment...
Storm Nordwind: The experiment explores a comparison between an established cognative therapy and a meditation technique
Storm Nordwind: and the technique they used was a very familar one to me! ...
Storm Nordwind: so I thought that it may be useful to others to have that available to them too
Raffila Millgrove: i know you are proud of your work in it and many in the emails. feel it is outstanding.
Raffila Millgrove: so it appears you were right in thinking it would be useful to others.
Storm Nordwind: Proud is probably not a word I'd use myself! :) I see it simply as a service. But I'm happy that some have expressed how much it has meant to them
Raffila Millgrove: well i don't mean proud as in jumped up... we dont' have a word.. that means satisfied that you achieved a goal.. did your best.
Raffila Millgrove: well we likely have one.. i just cannot call it up.
Storm Nordwind: Yes I'm not sure what it is either - but would be grateful if it did ever come to mind! :)
stevenaia Michinaga: it is a peaceful place Storm
Raffila Millgrove: yeah i lost about half my vocab for moments like this. maybe more. very frustrating as i am sure there is a word that's just right for it.
    stevenaia Michinaga: satified?
Raffila Millgrove: i am still working on one from yeserday that i needed. i think it was cannabalized.
    stevenaia Michinaga: *s
stevenaia Michinaga: wonders what the context was Raffi
Raffila Millgrove: referring to.. taking apart this huge modern japanese house.. to.. rip out parts of it.. that i wanted to use in a project.
Storm Nordwind: Yes cannilablized works for that!
Storm Nordwind: if only I could spell it!
Raffila Millgrove: i saw on markeplace a whole modern house .. completely furnished for 270 linden. i couldn't believe it. i bought right away. incredible stuff in it.
Raffila Millgrove: i dunno why the person who made it.. would practically give it away.. i hope lots of people would buy it.. some beautiful things he made for it.
oO0Oo Resident: Excuse me.. I'll duck out.. Thanks Stev, Storm.. Raffi :)
    Raffila Millgrove: bye -0-
    oO0Oo Resident: tc
Storm Nordwind: I used to do exactly the same. I pull them apart and use bits. Learn how they did it. Think about how I'd improve it. Still using bits from my first bought house, and Steve benefited with the fences recently
    Storm Nordwind waves
    stevenaia Michinaga: night Samud
Raffila Millgrove: yes. i learned to build by taking apart full prim freebies to see how they'd been made.
    Raffila Millgrove: full perm

    --BELL--

Raffila Millgrove: they used to give you at Help Island. everything you could carry away with you. hundreds of wonderful freebies to learn with. or use.
Storm Nordwind: Yes those two islands you started on were great! I'm still teaching people nowadays how to use their cameras properly witout using the on screen popups, just the keys. Couldn't believe they don't teach them that anymore!
Raffila Millgrove: so maybe tomorrow i have the word to subsitute for proud.
Storm Nordwind: I'll look forward to it. Please bring it to my session at 7am if you're available!
Raffila Millgrove: all those years i was writing my newspaper column.. luckily i could work at home so no one knew how long... i had to take.. to find my words.
Storm Nordwind: Me too. If worst came to worst, I'd reword the sentence so it didn't need it!
Raffila Millgrove: when i read sometimes the old stuff.. i am kinda happy to realize it came out so well and you cannot tell what went on... behind the scenes. lol
Raffila Millgrove: well what's goign on here behind the screen is dinner.. so i gotta run off. Take care all.
    stevenaia Michinaga: night Rafffi
    stevenaia Michinaga: I'm off too
Storm Nordwind: A good artist makes things seem so simple that anyone could apparently do it... but under the hood is another matter entirely!
Raffila Millgrove: bye Steve and storm take care.
    Storm Nordwind: Sleep well friends!
