Not really, just wanted to write that :))

A new week and the topic is now Equanimity.  Having missed out on our group doing last week's 'how do you 9-second' was very regretful.

Lucinda Lavender: meditation
Storm Nordwind: All kinds? Or some kinds in particular?
Lucinda Lavender: for me it is closing eyes sometimes a mantra sometimes not
Lucinda Lavender: it somehow feels like a cloak is dropped over one

Storm Nordwind: Do you think that's "just you" - that's it's personal - or do you think others might also benefit doing that?
Lucinda Lavender: stillness
Lucinda Lavender: nice question...I would not wat to presume for others but I imagine it as a help to others

Lucinda Lavender: I think there are times it happens with eyes open too but less often for me
Lucinda Lavender: anybody else have ideas?
Riddle Sideways: breathng. can happen without noticing breathe but less often

Storm Nordwind: Yours are very practical ways Luci and Riddle. People also cultivate whole philosophical outlooks - like considering impermanence - but I like practical too, and the 9 second practice also helps, I find.

Riddle Sideways: no matter how practical, philosophical, crazy, sleepy, etc. the content of each 15 minutes.  There is a 9 sec gong to equal out things
