Raffila Millgrove: did you like this theme Stillness? did you talk on it already?
Yakuzza Lethecus: i did not really talk about it, it´s interesting to hear different perspectives on it, i usually have a rough time to find real stillness

Raffila Millgrove: you know yaku.. i did not find.. in listening.. that there was much "new" or things I had not heard before.. so .. for me... not as succesful as other themes have been, because I want to learn.. to really learn from others. and this one.. i didn't learn. as much as a did from the other themes.

Raffila Millgrove: oh we were just sort of critiquing.. i was anyway.. how the theme felt for me this week. and Yaku said. sometimes that stillness doesn't come easy to him. i think he said that? right Yaku? You Korel were the only one who said that stillness comes to you in motion (while running) I liked that idea too.
Korel Laloix: OH yes.. I just find that my mind is the most still when I am moving.

Raffila Millgrove: this week we have a theme Mouse. We've been talking about stillness.. all week. it's up to the circle.. at the meeting. if they want to talk on the weekly theme.. so we were dabbling in it. a bit.
Korel Laloix: The chat on equinimty was very interesting to me.
Mouse Moonwall: Oh... man, stillness... I have too much of that in my world. Although you probably mean interior stillness, not sedentary butt-sitting. In which case, ok, I have too little. :P
Raffila Millgrove: Yaku.. he is our host today for the meet. we meet four times a day 1 and 7 am and pm.. Sl time. to.. explore reality.. use our lives as a laboratory "play" with idea of "being"
Korel Laloix: I got a lot out of that one.. whole new persectives that I did not know about.
Raffila Millgrove: yes i liked all 3 themes.. so much. this one.. not so much.
Korel Laloix: Or.. if you are me.. you just show up for a good chat... smiles

Raffila Millgrove: Paris... when i went as young woman.. i walked entire city. i am glad i went so young and strong and energetic/stamina. couldn't do that today. walk for 12 hr day.

Korel Laloix: There was a retreat in Malta while back, would have loved that.
Korel Laloix: Might have one in Spain soon as well.

Yakuzza Lethecus: the last time that i was a bit amazed was when i saw the entance of mdina in the first season of game of thrones since that was almost in front of our hotel

Eos Amaterasu: It's not important for now. That really only had meaning in that context. Re-create your/our own!
Eos Amaterasu: Everyone was making things up their own way, so there was no there there, so to speak

Eos Amaterasu: I think the interesting thing is that there are different ways of exploring being, and I'm only familiar with a few - I've learned quite a bit from the community here

Eos Amaterasu: the retreat situation at Malta allowed enough time and space and mutual meeting and trust for such adventuring to be possible
Eos Amaterasu: I think that's one of the ways a "retreat" can be quite powerful
Eos Amaterasu: someone can trust themself and the others enough to "say more" in a deeper and more personal way
Korel Laloix: I would to do that... I meain I share some pretty deep things here, but there is a draw of eye to eye contact.
Eos Amaterasu: and to also play together, as in doing an imaginative "sally" (as Pema calls it) together
Korel Laloix: But, I am also sure tha there are things that I say in here that I would not say in person.... SL reduces my inhibitions in a way.
