Eliza Madrigal: and talking about how we talk about things
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Adams Rubble: nad has that been judged as a good topic?
Adams Rubble: and
Adams Rubble: :)
Eliza Madrigal: jury is out I think
Adams Rubble: Is there anything left to discuss?

Adams Rubble: Dubrovna is still working away on it
stevenaia Michinaga: crack that whip
Eliza Madrigal: any teasers you could leak?
Adams Rubble: hmmmm
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: The concepts of "seeing" and "being seen" are fairly well defined in these two traditions. I think it may provide a jumping point to look at other traditions
Adams Rubble: when last seen, our hero was struggling with a daemon at the top of the high cliff.....
Adams Rubble: hehe
Eliza Madrigal smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: sounds like we need some piano music in the backgound
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: the herione has been judged as lost but is transcending unbeknownst to the daemon
Eliza Madrigal: :) must find out what happens... will we?
Adams Rubble: stay tuned to PaB after the workshop :)
stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Eliza Madrigal: haha...
Eliza Madrigal: After the workshop we have another here, for Art of Being Motion... learning moving scripts...
Adams Rubble nods
Eliza Madrigal: so perhaps can make a cliff scene...
Adams Rubble: yes
Eliza Madrigal: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: hehe, I'm working with a consultant, some are clueless, I;m scriptless
Adams Rubble: sadly I won't be able to make that. Sounds interesting to learn about scripts
Eliza Madrigal: being seen falling
Eliza Madrigal: :) consultant.. fancy, Stevie
stevenaia Michinaga: no, jsut desperate
Eliza Madrigal: I am mostly finished I think... but am looking for a tiny frog
Adams Rubble: wow
stevenaia Michinaga: was that a preview?
stevenaia Michinaga: oops
Eliza Madrigal: this one is too big
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Adams Rubble has no frogs in her inventory just a notecard on the wisdom of frogs
Eliza Madrigal: wisdom of frogs?
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Boxy :)
Adams Rubble: Hello Boxy :)
stevenaia Michinaga: hi Boxy
Alfred Kelberry: hi girls :)
Eliza Madrigal: thank you Adams :::reads::::
Alfred Kelberry: adams told me you've been looking for a tiny frog, eliza - why? :)
Adams Rubble sent Boxy a notecard of session so far
--BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: for my motion project, Boxy :)
Alfred Kelberry: ah, the art of being project :) thank you, adams
Eliza Madrigal: what a wonderful note Adams, thank you so much...
stevenaia Michinaga: I'm listening to all this silent music on youtube, haven;t found one that matches Adam's clif hanger moment
stevenaia Michinaga: Silent movie music
Eliza Madrigal: "Life is only song" ... just love that
stevenaia Michinaga: there is no silent music :)
Alfred Kelberry: what are you up to this sunday?
Eliza Madrigal: waking :)
Eliza Madrigal: you, Boxy?
Adams Rubble wondering whether the song in our hears could count as sient muic
Adams Rubble: heart
Eliza Madrigal: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: usually it;s the loudest
Eliza Madrigal: still small voice or whispering rabbit...
stevenaia Michinaga: hmmm, time for e RL field trip to find a NYT
stevenaia Michinaga: see you at 12:00
Alfred Kelberry: heh, waking is a good plan :)
Adams Rubble: have a nice trip Steve
Alfred Kelberry: what's nyt?
Missed Eliza's answer. yes, that makes more sense
Adams Rubble: hope Steve's dress does not get dirty in the sibway
Eliza Madrigal: new york times , I think
Eliza Madrigal: or from inky fingers
Adams Rubble: presuming it is the New York Train
Adams Rubble: or transit
Alfred Kelberry: um, stev must enjoy a crisp newspaper in her hands :)
Eliza Madrigal: no yam toast
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Korel :)
Alfred Kelberry: i forgot when i bought a newspaper last time
Adams Rubble wants some flap jacks
Adams Rubble: Good morning Korel :)
Eliza Madrigal: myself too... buy them only when the kids have projects
Alfred Kelberry: sexy kori girl :)
Korel Laloix: Morning.
Eliza Madrigal: but I've been missing the feeling of nice magazines... ntl geographic, new yorker...
Eliza Madrigal: am going to spend more time in the library this summer :)
Korel Laloix: To me magazines equal clutter.. so my over organized side keeps me from collecting htem.
Adams Rubble: Librarians are born to roganize clutter
Eliza Madrigal nods... there are few really worthwhile to have delivered I think... unless one specializes in something
Korel Laloix: That is probably the key.
Adams Rubble: Hello Visitor
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Visitor
Adams Rubble: Have you been here before?
Adams Rubble waves bye to Visitor
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza had rezzed a frog in the air and Korel sat on it
Korel Laloix: The frog is creapy.
Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Korel Laloix: So sitting on her is the answer of course...
Eliza Madrigal: the frogs and geckos outside my window now, during spring rains, are so joyful... loud...
Eliza Madrigal: and it has taken me years to hear their rhythms well
Korel Laloix: Not sure I have ever heard a gecko.
Korel Laloix: Will look it up.
Alfred Kelberry: when do they start making noise?
Eliza Madrigal: they seem to space themselves all about the neighborhood just so, spacially
Adams Rubble wonders if she will learn the rhythms of leaf blowers outside her window
--BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: well this year it began about a month ago
Alfred Kelberry: morning? evening?
Alfred Kelberry: my neighborhood birds wake up at 5:30 am :)
Adams Rubble: yes, morning , evening and in between :)
Eliza Madrigal: frog band is liveliest at night... but in the hours too
Eliza Madrigal: Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! :D :p :D :p :D
Eliza Madrigal: (that was unintentional, hah)
Adams Rubble: happy frogs
Alfred Kelberry: ouch, at night. do you sleep ok?
Eliza Madrigal: yes, very :)
Eliza Madrigal: if you hear the song it is comforting
Korel Laloix: Just like crickets... one is unbearable.. thousands are soothing.
Eliza Madrigal: mmmm yes
Alfred Kelberry: ok, good for you that you enjoy it :)
Alfred Kelberry: ah, you reminded me, kori
Korel Laloix: Of what?
Korel Laloix: Must be something very very good.
Korel Laloix smiles
Alfred Kelberry: it's like in a fast food hall in a big mall. one chair scratching the floor is annoying, but a hundred you hardly notice :)
Korel Laloix: Never thought of that.
Korel Laloix: Watched a movie once, there was a line two guys in a hotel room.. One asks how often the train goes by.
Korel Laloix: He repllied, so often you won't even notice.
Korel Laloix: I am thankfull we are able to put things out of our minds like that.
Eliza Madrigal: :)
Alfred Kelberry: but if you listen you can hear distinct scratching here and there that never stops for more than a few seconds
Adams Rubble: There once was a cricket near Kori
Who was annoying in all it's glory
Joined by his brothers
and many others
Soothed Kori with sounds of their story
Eliza Madrigal: :::::claps::::::
Alfred Kelberry: yes, we're good at tuning out, adapting. like eliza and her frogs :)
Alfred Kelberry: co-exist wonderfully together :)
Alfred Kelberry: adams :)
Korel Laloix smiles
Korel Laloix: Never been a subject of a poem before....
Korel Laloix: Thanks.
Eliza Madrigal smiles
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I am going to have to run but I have the log and will post it later
Korel Laloix: I have had some very creative things said to me and about me though.... smiles
Eliza Madrigal: thanks Adams
Korel Laloix: OK... thanks.. take care.
Eliza Madrigal: hope to make the workshop
Adams Rubble: Have a good day everyone. Dubrovna will be glad to see you there :)
Adams Rubble: bye for now :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) bfn
Korel Laloix: Which workshop?
Alfred Kelberry: bye
Eliza Madrigal: Engaging with the Sacred Image. Adams Dubrovna will intriduce and lead a discussion about "seeing" Hindu images and Orthodox Icons at the Museum of Sacred Art Christian Wing Bieup
Eliza Madrigal: 12 (noon)
Korel Laloix: Darn RL will keep me out of that one.
Korel Laloix: Sounds fun though.
Eliza Madrigal: iconography is fascinating
Eliza Madrigal: images underneath images..
Alfred Kelberry: somehow church icons look creepy and unsettling to me
Korel Laloix: My first Christian girlfriend is Russian Orthodox.
Korel Laloix: Some are meant to be that way...
Eliza Madrigal: but once you see the layers it is more compelling
Korel Laloix: I was surprised to see them through the eyes and interpretations of those that grew up with them.
Eliza Madrigal: yes?
Alfred Kelberry: i'd rather see monet or something :)
Korel Laloix: There are a couple of SL Orthodox chruches.
Korel Laloix: Looking at paintings is not a great thrill for me.
Korel Laloix: But when I see the icons, there is a spiritual layer that I connect with.
Eliza Madrigal: yes
Korel Laloix: And I do love the word iconoclast.
Korel Laloix: Or however it is spelled.
Alfred Kelberry: some are quite captivating. like they become your friend, some connection.
Eliza Madrigal: yes :)
Eliza Madrigal: and when one knows the backgrounds of things details can pop...
Eliza Madrigal: even just little bits of noticing
Korel Laloix: And what you said before, some are unsetteling... but those are on purpose.
Korel Laloix: Well.. some are.
Eliza Madrigal nods
Korel Laloix: I do connect with the orthodox mindset I think.
Korel Laloix: Much more than my MCC or my grandma's Baptist.
--BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: was thinking about that too recently... feeling a bit sad that my kids haven't grown up in cathedrals :) feel we need to make some trips... though, of course we all live in a cathedral if we notice :)
Korel Laloix: I also find it interesting how the orthodox denominations could have adopted more modern and realistic ways of painting, but did not.
Eliza Madrigal nods
Korel Laloix: I went into a few in the UK in Cambs.
Eliza Madrigal: I have to go kori but don't want to pull the frog out from under you... hehe....
Korel Laloix: And a couple in Munich.
Korel Laloix: Amazing.
Eliza Madrigal: Nice!
Korel Laloix: There are great presences in those places.
Korel Laloix: Thanks for teh creapy seaty.
Eliza Madrigal: says "come here my creepy little frog friend"
Korel Laloix: Love the dress.
Eliza Madrigal: thanks.. happy clothes
Eliza Madrigal: I'd love to continue this conversation sometime... so interesting
Korel Laloix: Take care.
Eliza Madrigal: bye for now
Korel Laloix: ciao bella
Korel Laloix: It was a good chat for a while.
Korel Laloix: Take care box-e
