 It has just been said that $6 Billion was spent on all campaigns in U.S.  Thank about that.

Riddle Sideways: the power strips or UPS (uninterruptable power supply) usually have power surge (spikes) protection in them

Xirana Oximoxi: I think the best is to disconnect 'delicate' tools

Korel Laloix: Both instructores said they wanted everyon to votes... just an excuse really... smiles
Korel Laloix: I don't mind.
Riddle Sideways: takes 10 min to vote, but get the whole day off
Xirana Oximoxi: yes..one can go vote and have classes
Xirana Oximoxi: in Spain, they usually prepare the election days on Sundays
Korel Laloix: Well, a lot of people voting, so was a good line yesterday for early voting.
Korel Laloix: Will be worse today I expect.
Xs Andree: you know, i think it makes sense to have the day off. I have never liked being rushed about on election day
Xs Andree: it seems important on that day to have time to reflect, on the decision you are about to make, as well as the decision you have made, afterward
Korel Laloix: I think in Australia you are required by law to voite.. not sure how that goes though.
Riddle Sideways: so many friends to see at the polls. usually stand an talk for an hour
Korel Laloix: Well, I made my mind up a while back, so did not have to reflect on the decision at least.
Xirana Oximoxi: not sure about Australia, but yes..some coutries is 'obliged' by law to vote
Korel Laloix: But for those that are still considering, it is good to have the time.
Riddle Sideways: yes, we went to a panel meeting over a month ago and heard all sides so decided then.
Riddle Sideways: however, most times it is the night before's activity

Korel Laloix: Just sad it is such a mesy process.
Riddle Sideways: purposely mis-leading wording in the propositions

Korel Laloix: Not to mention candidates willing to say anything for a vote.

Korel Laloix: I am sure it is.
Riddle Sideways: how can you know that so-and-so will actually deliver on a promise

Korel Laloix: I just hate this waiting part... sort of reminds me of when I was waiting for my biopsy results... I knew it was going to be bad, but just how bad..... frowns

Korel Laloix: Feels the same to me though... in a lot of ways...
Korel Laloix: But of course some aspects are very different.
Xirana Oximoxi: some ways maybe...but ...yes...exactly...
Riddle Sideways: the TV will be full of "with 0.01% of the votes in we can project that ..."
Korel Laloix: Just finding out which really bad result I get.. not a winable one.
Riddle Sideways: how can they do that ????

Korel Laloix: I do have to say I enjoy the statistics part of the whole mess... the math geek part of me at least.
Riddle Sideways: but it counts as one of 250 million

Xirana Oximoxi: I doctor made a wrong diagnose to me... and I've been 'waitingg' quite a long time... my mind like a mess.... during the elections, I have other references and a different approach to the results of it...
Korel Laloix: I am just glad I have a vote that actually sorta makes a difference.
Korel Laloix: COmpared to other places in the world.
Korel Laloix: Could it be better, yes.. Could it be a lot lot worse.. yes.

Xs Andree: and i quit my company last night.

Xs Andree: koans are not the only wisdom, and not everyone is willing to be Zen. not everyone should be Zen.
Riddle Sideways: true, there should be differences
Xs Andree: I like that in Zen, though, differences are very workable.
Xs Andree: But to be Zen is to not be what is not Zen, so, Zen is limiting still.
