SophiaSharon Larnia: Ive taken the term dropping to mean dropping labels, categories and compartmentalizing in general..... I had had the idea that the "goal", if there ever is one, is to sustain that viewing point
Ewan Bonham: Would it not keep radiating out of you?
SophiaSharon Larnia: it didnt occur to me to fill up

Lucinda Lavender: sometimes I feel like more than the usual things happen of a positive sort...then I feel jazzed...Hi Hana! but it is real easy to forget that the absense of everything going smoothly is very probable as well
Hana Furlough: or both at the same time, the good and the bad, no?
Lucinda Lavender: when more responsibilities feel to be piling up then I like to empty to get a handle on things
Ewan Bonham: Empty the mind... then allow the heart to 'breath'?
Lucinda Lavender: yes...like that Ewan
Lucinda Lavender: sometimes it is hard to see the way there tho

Lucinda Lavender: this week I asked the preschoolers"what are you thankful for but by way of saying what things I was thankful for, like school family,friends,food, etc...but after I described that I say but what I really wonder about is what makes you happy?and they perked right up and had ideas

Ewan Bonham: Grateful is a more mature term because for me, it means I have to step out of my own skin for a moment..

Lucinda Lavender: I really emphasized that I was really curious about them...I was ready to hear their ideas...it felt like it gave them permission to share.
Hana Furlough: can you tell us what they said?
Lucinda Lavender: one child liked farm equiptment...loves learning about it..most said tangible things rather than family members etc

Lucinda Lavender: i guess my thought was we can fill up with things and also thoughts of things
