[01:06] Yakuzza Lethecus: hey wol, good morning i hope
[01:06] Wol Euler: so far very good
    [01:06] Wol Euler: hello yaku
[01:07] Yakuzza Lethecus: here too, 3rd coffee and conquered the capital of the polynesian empire before :P
    [01:08] Wol Euler cheers!
    [01:08] Yakuzza Lethecus: smile
[01:08] Wol Euler: which game was that?
    [01:08] Yakuzza Lethecus: civ5
    [01:08] Wol Euler: ah!
    [01:08] Wol Euler: I only have 4
[01:08] Wol Euler: and haven't played that much since discovering SL
[01:08] Yakuzza Lethecus: 4 was also far better accepted by the community

[01:10] Yakuzza Lethecus: i think now with the recent add ons and dlc (i still don´t like that they are making chunks of apps optional purchasable)
    [01:10] Wol Euler nods.
[01:10] Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s getting close to the depth of the old one
[01:10] Wol Euler: many people don't like that
    [01:10] Wol Euler: (dlc)
[01:10] Wol Euler: it feels like being cheated, somehow
[01:11] Wol Euler: it's funny, dlc is perceived as something that was removed from the game, that should have been in it from the beginning
[01:11] Wol Euler: not as an enrichment

[01:11] Yakuzza Lethecus: and when playing in multiplayer everyone has to have these options
    [01:11] Wol Euler nods.
[01:12] Wol Euler: so they aren't really optional any more

[01:14] Yakuzza Lethecus: you don´t have a tv right ?
    [01:14] Wol Euler: true
[01:14] Yakuzza Lethecus: so ur also a case that they make you pay 10 euro more per month from january
    [01:14] Wol Euler: oh?
[01:16] Yakuzza Lethecus: GEZ became Beitragsservice
[01:17] Yakuzza Lethecus: and they are changing from individual fee´s to fee per household and it´s the same fee for everyone then
[01:17] Yakuzza Lethecus: so ppl with pc/radio will have to pay the same as tv reviever owners
[01:18] Wol Euler: oh but that was always the case
[01:18] Wol Euler: at least since a few years now
[01:19] Wol Euler: I had a GEZ inspector here, he found the computer and declared that since it *could* receive TV programs over internet, and I could not prove that I never did, then I *must* pay as though I had a TV
    [01:19] Wol Euler shrugs
[01:19] Yakuzza Lethecus: ok, nevermind then
[01:21] Wol Euler: reading about it on bild.de
[01:22] Yakuzza Lethecus: is the bbc in the uk similar financed ?
[01:22] Wol Euler: yes, there is a TV license there too
[01:22] Wol Euler: or there was, not sure if that still applies
[01:23] Yakuzza Lethecus: at least it makes think of how connected media should be to the government and how should information be distributed
    [01:23] Wol Euler nods.

    [01:25] Yakuzza Lethecus: yes!

[01:25] Wol Euler: who granted them that authority?
[01:26] Wol Euler: that is clearly an invasion of privacy
[01:27] Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s interesting how governments handle these things, in sweden everyone can go to the library and check how many taxes citizens are paying
[01:27] Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s public for everyone!
    [01:27] Wol Euler: huh

[01:27] Wol Euler: it would be fascinating to have that right in the US
[01:28] Wol Euler: how much tax does a CEO who earns 20.000 times the hourly salary of his staff pay?
[01:28] Wol Euler: higher or lower percent?
[01:28] Wol Euler: there's be blood in the streeets :)
[01:28] Yakuzza Lethecus: exactly, what should be more taxable financial production of money or a salery
[01:29] Wol Euler: any and all imcome should be taxable, whether from salary or from benefits or from sale of stocks and bonds
[01:29] Yakuzza Lethecus: matt was a good example on that lately
[01:29] Wol Euler: it's outrageous that stock market income can become tax-free if you just hold the stocks long enough

[02:03] Yakuzza Lethecus: hope you got a good day!
[02:03] Yakuzza Lethecus: see you soon
[02:03] Wol Euler: I have plans for one, have to wait and see what happens
[02:03] Wol Euler: thanks, you too
[02:03] Wol Euler: take care, yaku
