Agatha Macbeth: Hello Rosie
Rosatta Resident: Hi, Agatha : )
Rosatta Resident: Have you had any good day dreams lately?
Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Agatha Macbeth: Not sure
Agatha Macbeth: I rarely seem to go into trances any more
Rosatta Resident: : )
Agatha Macbeth: How are you?
Rosatta Resident: In a transitional place I think
Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Agatha Macbeth: Had a few of those
Rosatta Resident: It's an odd place
Agatha Macbeth: Suppose they are all different
Rosatta Resident: I've heard this being in transition as being in the Twilight Zone
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I love that
Rosatta Resident: One woman I listened to in a meeting described it as feeling as if the wind could blow through you
Agatha Macbeth: And the outer limits
Rosatta Resident: Yes lol
Agatha Macbeth: Interesting
Rosatta Resident: I think my 'day dreams' right now are of moving out of negativity into something healthier and the next step
Agatha Macbeth: Hello Wollie ♥
Wol Euler: evening all!
Rosatta Resident: Hi, Wol : )
Agatha Macbeth: Well that's good to hear anyway
Rosatta Resident: I hope you had a good day
Wol Euler: pretty good, yes
Wol Euler: long. I just had dinner, didn't get home until 9:30
Rosatta Resident: that is a long day
Wol Euler: nice pants, aggers :)
Agatha Macbeth: TY
Agatha Macbeth: You have them too I think
Wol Euler: I certainly do :)
Agatha Macbeth: Yay
Agatha Macbeth: Have you eaten yet?
--BELL--1315
Agatha Macbeth: (maybe just doing it :p)
Wol Euler: no, I ate already, picked up a pizza ont he way home
Agatha Macbeth: Good
Wol Euler: and a beer, which is unusual for me
Agatha Macbeth: I don't much care for pizza
Wol Euler: the first in a month, probably two
Wol Euler: and I already feel the effects :)
Agatha Macbeth: Just don't fall over
Wol Euler: as long as I'm sitting .....
Agatha Macbeth: Hehe
Agatha Macbeth: Rosie was just telling me she's in a place of transition atm
Rosatta Resident: It feels like a Day Dream - kind of less real than rl
Agatha Macbeth smiles
Rosatta Resident: I am hoping it does mean forward motions out of a lot of negativity
Wol Euler: ah
Wol Euler listens.
Agatha Macbeth: Other worlds
Rosatta Resident: I wonder if, when a person changes, if there really is some kind of shift in Being
Agatha Macbeth: I would imagine so
Wol Euler: I think so, yes
Agatha Macbeth: But there are many definitions of course ;-)
Wol Euler: I've seen mny times that my mood affects those around me, for better or worse
Agatha Macbeth: Oh true
Rosatta Resident: And effects me so that one way I am doing things well, another clumsy
Rosatta Resident: One way I am making good decisions, another way poor ones
Wol Euler nods.
Rosatta Resident: And these, of course, effect my reality
Agatha Macbeth: Right
Agatha Macbeth: But you can always come here to get away from them :p
Wol Euler smiles.
Rosatta Resident grins
Rosatta Resident: And then LL makes changes lol
Agatha Macbeth: Oh bugger LL, they change stuff for the hell of it
Agatha Macbeth: Gives them something to do I think
Wol Euler grins.
Agatha Macbeth watches Wol's clothes coming on and off
Wol Euler: I'm looking to see if I have a sweater top like yours
Agatha Macbeth: Hm, this one is Aoharu I think
Agatha Macbeth: Anyway Rosie, hope your transition works well :)
Rosatta Resident: Ty : )
Agatha Macbeth: Change can be a two edged sword as you say
Rosatta Resident: There is a book "The Dance of Anger" that was written by a woman psychoclogis
Agatha Macbeth: Sounds interesting
Wol Euler listens.
Rosatta Resident: She describes how, whne one changes, those in relationship to the person change often get angry
Wol Euler: oh yes :)
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I read that as 'dance of danger' hehe
Rosatta Resident: They do things to try to make . . .. did I type it wrong?
Agatha Macbeth cleans her glasses
Agatha Macbeth: No, it's my eyes dear
Rosatta Resident giggles
Agatha Macbeth: Gettin' on a bit now
Rosatta Resident: Anyway, she not only describes this event, but has wonderful advice for how to cope with others as they learn to accept the changes
Agatha Macbeth: Good
Rosatta Resident: There also seems to be something to the 'Law of Attraction" that when one changes, those we are in relationship with either change with us or they go away
Agatha Macbeth: Right
--BELL--1330
Agatha Macbeth: Guess it has to be one or the other
Rosatta Resident: Or constant conflict, I guess
Agatha Macbeth: Think conflict is a hazard of living sometimes
Rosatta Resident: I wish it was not
Agatha Macbeth: Too true
Wol Euler: it seems to me that this kind of conflict, where one partner is changing, is about ego
Wol Euler: the other fears that their life will be changed
Wol Euler: if only that they will have to start paying attention again until they figure out the "new" partner
Agatha Macbeth: This is where we need Zen to step in and say 'there is no I'
Rosatta Resident: Have you had an good day dreams lately, Wol?
Wol Euler: day dreams, no, I don't have the time for that
Wol Euler: I dreamed about plastercasting night elves last night :)
Rosatta Resident: I understand : )
Agatha Macbeth: Well don't we all?
Wol Euler smiles.
Rosatta Resident: Well, about no time . . .
Rosatta Resident: Plastercasting night elves?
Agatha Macbeth: No time like the present
Rosatta Resident: Do you do plastercasting, Wol?
Wol Euler: um, no :)
Agatha Macbeth: Only of elves
Wol Euler: but I do dream about world of warcraft fairly often
Rosatta Resident: Are there plastercasting elves on WOW
Agatha Macbeth: Not really surprising that
Wol Euler: the plastercasting got in to it because I somehow found myself in a kind of trophy room full of stuffed elf "bits"
Agatha Macbeth: 0.0
Rosatta Resident: I agree with Aggers
Wol Euler: and I thought they were unrealistic, badly stuffed, exaggerated
Rosatta Resident: poor elves
Wol Euler: so ... how to prove that they were wrong? :)
Agatha Macbeth: You have to tell this one next tuesday
Rosatta Resident: No worrying about elves having their bits stuffed and mounted?
Wol Euler: I don't think so :) in fact I was just considering asking you to take it out of the log :)
Agatha Macbeth: Poor elves
Agatha Macbeth: Why?
Wol Euler: well they were dead, of course
Wol Euler: WoW is about combat, killing things.
Agatha Macbeth: Killed by orcs probably
Wol Euler nods.
Rosatta Resident: Maybe WOW is a type of modern day dream
Rosatta Resident: And SL
Agatha Macbeth: And Facebook?
Rosatta Resident: I'm not on fb, does it have a fantasy element to it?
Agatha Macbeth: Well you aren't missing much to be honest
Agatha Macbeth: I thought Twitter was pretty facile
Agatha Macbeth: But FB is worse
Rosatta Resident: About all I know is my daughter uses it to stay in touch with a lot of people
Agatha Macbeth: Well if has a worthwhile purpose then great
Agatha Macbeth: But there aren't that many people I have any need to keep in touch with
--BELL--1345
Wol Euler: I don't think it has any serious purpose, actually
Wol Euler: *worthwhile purpose
Agatha Macbeth: Think it's down to the invidual's needs (as always)
Agatha Macbeth: Personally I don't seem to have those needs
Rosatta Resident: My daughter works in a retail environment where there is a lot of politics going on. it is one venue for her to make alliances and nurture them so she has allies at work
Rosatta Resident: It is also a way for our housing community to stay in touch and there is a lot of negativity here
Rosatta Resident: We just had a drug dealer/pimp arrested
Wol Euler: oh yay
Agatha Macbeth: Oh great
Rosatta Resident: And we have a bully next door who continually keeps the neighborhood stirred up trying to run dd and me out
Rosatta Resident: Or, just feel powerful
Rosatta Resident: And the fb networking dd does has helped a lot with that
Rosatta Resident: It is the only avenue she has of getting her side of things out there
Wol Euler: I stand corrected :)
Agatha Macbeth: In her case then it's a valuable tool
Agatha Macbeth: For me I can live without it
Rosatta Resident: while this horrible neighbor lies all over the neighborhood getting us attcked
Rosatta Resident: Well, fortunately you don't live in a place or situation where it is survival to have that outlet
Agatha Macbeth: Sounds like Dash all over again
Rosatta Resident: I am glad for that
Rosatta Resident: Dash?
Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: Guy from Atlanta who used to come here
Agatha Macbeth: He had similar problems
Wol Euler: yeah, he was a whistle-blower and union organizer, and was basically run out of the state
Wol Euler: (his side of the story)
Rosatta Resident: Ah That
Agatha Macbeth: Wonder where he is now
Rosatta Resident: Our neighborhood has sevearl single mothers with young children who get drunk at home with the kids there or walk around the neighborhood drinking
Rosatta Resident: We really didn't think this was what we were moving into
Agatha Macbeth: Can you not relocate Rosie?
Rosatta Resident: I wish we could
Rosatta Resident: Being low income, apparently this is what we are going to have to deal with whever we live in this area
Agatha Macbeth nods
Rosatta Resident: We've moved maybe 5 times since coming here, and it doesn't seem to get any better
Rosatta Resident: So now we are trying to do what we can to change things but others have to want these changes, also
Agatha Macbeth: Are there rich and poor sides of town there then?
Rosatta Resident: Yes
Rosatta Resident: Or, areas, actually
Agatha Macbeth: Right
Agatha Macbeth: Amazing how a country with no class system still ends up with the rich/poor dichotomy
Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: people are people ...
Rosatta Resident: Among those in the US with money there is a very strong attitude of "You don't have to be poor if you don't want to be"
Wol Euler: yep
Rosatta Resident: Very unrealistic
Wol Euler: "they are just lazy"
Agatha Macbeth: Ha
Rosatta Resident: Yes
Agatha Macbeth: What a joke
Wol Euler: plenty of jobs! they just don't want to work
Wol Euler: they say as they close another factory here while opening one in China
Rosatta Resident: Yes
Agatha Macbeth: Actually China begins to sound like an increasingly attractive place to live
Rosatta Resident: And they say that American workers are greedy, but one can't pay rent on minimum wage - the Goverment's standard
--BELL--1400
Rosatta Resident: With that pay there is no way to live without Government help
Wol Euler: really? I think it sounds like hell, and I think a second revolution won't be long
Rosatta Resident: If there was a revolution, they would kill us like Tiannamen Square
Rosatta Resident: Ronald Regan did that back in the 60's
Agatha Macbeth: That what being a crap actor does for you
Wol Euler: I meant in China, but you are right, there would be blood in the streets here too
Agatha Macbeth: Ah so
Rosatta Resident: Well, meanwhile, it is a time to learn the skills of staying sane in an insane world
Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Rosatta Resident: I'd rather have it easy :p
Agatha Macbeth: Who wouldn't
Rosatta Resident laughs ruefully
Agatha Macbeth strokes Rosie's wings
Agatha Macbeth: Love the flying fish
Rosatta Resident Rosatta smiles in gratitude for Aggers kindliness
Wol Euler smiles.
Rosatta Resident: Ty : ) Sunshine gave it to me. It is really beautiful. I hope she didn't me her only one
Agatha Macbeth: Sunny rocks
Rosatta Resident: She is awesome : )
Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
Agatha Macbeth: Well if no one objects I think I'll move on
Wol Euler smiles.
Rosatta Resident: It has been good to see you (((hugs)))
Agatha Macbeth: Take care dears
Wol Euler: goodnight aggers, take care
Agatha Macbeth: You too Rosie
Wol Euler pats your finely clad butt
Agatha Macbeth: and Wollie ♥
Agatha Macbeth: Yum
Wol Euler: ♥
Agatha Macbeth: Daydream well
Rosatta Resident: You must be about ready for bed, Wol
Wol Euler: yes, tired and half-drunk on a single bottle of beer
Wol Euler: how embarrassing :)
Rosatta Resident: lol
Wol Euler: in my defence it was a half-litre bottle of German beer
Wol Euler: but still .........
Rosatta Resident Rosatta chuckles
Wol Euler: so I will move on bed-wards
Rosatta Resident: I will go and let you get to bed, then
Wol Euler: goodnight, rosatta, take care
Wol Euler: and good luck with that awful neighbour
Rosatta Resident: Good dreams to you, sweet lady
Wol Euler waves.
Rosatta Resident: Ty for the good wishes.
