    Yakuzza Lethecus: nabend wol
    Wol Euler: nabend yaku!
    Wol Euler: alles gut?
Yakuzza Lethecus: yeah, everything is fine, it´s a bit quiet tonight
    Wol Euler: really :)
Wol Euler: I don'T think I've ever seen a Friday so empty
Yakuzza Lethecus: i haven´t either in a long time
Yakuzza Lethecus: well i am letting the voice session time out, i am present but don´t announce anymore
Yakuzza Lethecus: i will drop it soon
    Wol Euler sighs.
Wol Euler: I'm sorry that hasn't worked out better
Wol Euler: it's just too early for me most days
Zen Arado: 's current display-name is "Zen".
    Wol Euler: hello zen
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey zen
    Zen Arado: Hi Wol, Yaku
Yakuzza Lethecus: just been talking about the quiet evening and that i will drop the voice session
    Zen Arado: hmm
Zen Arado: quiet on my session too
Zen Arado: lucky if I get 3 any time
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: maybe the weather is too good
Zen Arado: people want to be outside
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, in germany we also have a very good weekend for the first time in weeks
    Zen Arado: great weather here
Zen Arado: sunyy 4 days in a row
    Wol Euler nods.
Yakuzza Lethecus: only eastern and southeastern germany have serious issues with a flood of the rivers
    Zen Arado: ah yes
    Zen Arado: saw that
    Zen Arado: the Rhine?
Wol Euler: yes, rain but no flooding here (touch wood)
Wol Euler: I haven't heard that the Rhine is particularly high. Yaku, you are closer?
Yakuzza Lethecus: the rhine isn´t just elbe, danube ( donau ?) and others
    Zen Arado: ah ok
    Yakuzza Lethecus: to the east
Zen Arado: no fllods in SL
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Zen Arado: floods
    Zen Arado: eyes pool suspiciously
Yakuzza Lethecus wonders about hidden features around here
Wol Euler: nice tan, zen :)
Zen Arado: I'm ok as long as sea level doesn't come up too much
    Zen Arado: ty ;)
Zen Arado: it's the hot SL sun
    Zen Arado: :)
Zen Arado: I never wear sunglasses in RL
Wol Euler: nor I, well not since many years ago
Wol Euler: I used to have my old prescription glasses dyed when I got new ones, but stopped that
Wol Euler: these days I just wear a cap pulled low
Zen Arado: last glasses I got a frree pair of sunglasses
Zen Arado: but never wore them
Zen Arado: so just got reading glasses this time
    Wol Euler nods.
Zen Arado: sun isn't that strong in Ireland
Zen Arado: it gets to 21 degrees
Yakuzza Lethecus: still 20 right out of the window
Wol Euler: sun strength has little to do with temperature :) In Canada I needed sunglasses most in winter because of snow reflection
    Zen Arado: ah yes
    Zen Arado: low sun too
Wol Euler: right, directly into your eyes
    Zen Arado: terrible when driving
    Wol Euler nods.
Zen Arado: living beside sea has advantages
Zen Arado: never too hot or cold
    Wol Euler: definitely
    Zen Arado: but windy
Wol Euler: and the fresh air and the breeze and the sound
Yakuzza Lethecus: did you have a car zen ?
Zen Arado: yes I drove cars for 40 years
    Zen Arado: handy things
    Zen Arado: :)
    Wol Euler smiles.
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: drove automatics at the end
    Zen Arado: far better
Zen Arado: most have stick shifts in UK
    Zen Arado: what about Germany?
Wol Euler: almost all have stick shift, in my observation
Yakuzza Lethecus: i only drove automatics a few times and for me then it was harder since i am used to do it manually
Zen Arado: so why do Americans drive automatics?
Wol Euler: because it's easier given the scale of the country
Wol Euler: highways which are flat and straight for ten hours
Yakuzza Lethecus: didnt kno lw stick shift as a term
Wol Euler: that's why they invented cruise control too
Zen Arado: but autos are best for city driving
Zen Arado: long open spaces it doesn't matter much
Zen Arado: so a taxi driver told me
Wol Euler: it's a good question, actually: why did somebody bother inventing automatic shifting?
    Zen Arado: laziness?
Wol Euler: which problem did they think it solved?
    Zen Arado: mother of invention
    Wol Euler: heh, yes
Wol Euler: um, zen, is there music tonight?
Zen Arado: gas is cheap too in US
    Zen Arado: yes
    Wol Euler: good!
Zen Arado: Sunji should send notice to pab
Wol Euler: I just found out that today is Tom Jones' birthday
    Zen Arado: oh?
    Wol Euler: apparently :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: i drive with lpg but sadly not all gas stations have it
Zen Arado: what could I play?
    Zen Arado: Delilah?
Wol Euler: he covered a few Prince songs fairly recently
    Wol Euler: Kiss
Wol Euler: also prince's birthday, and mine :)
    Wol Euler smiles modestly.
Zen Arado: want me to play that?
Wol Euler: if you have it, yes; else no :)
Zen Arado: ah happy birthday !
Wol Euler: I like your usual eclectic mix
    Wol Euler: ty :)
    Zen Arado: :)
    Zen Arado: have it
    Wol Euler: yay :)
    Zen Arado: tom jones
    Zen Arado: see old familiars
    Zen Arado: it's not unusual
    Zen Arado: she's a lady
    Zen Arado: what's new pussycay
Wol Euler: you can leave your hat on :)
    Zen Arado: green green grass
    Zen Arado: sex bomb
Zen Arado: Delilah is most popular I guess
    Zen Arado: great karaoke song
    Wol Euler: I
Zen Arado: better go and set up
Wol Euler: I wiki'd him to find out how old he is (74) and kept reading
    Zen Arado: ah
Wol Euler: he's still married to the girl he married when tehy were both 16 :)
    Zen Arado: great
    Zen Arado: bfn
    Wol Euler: see you llater!
    --BELL--
Wol Euler: well, I shall move on to Perfect Paradise for the music
Wol Euler: goodnight, yaku, take care
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good night
    Yakuzza Lethecus: sleep well
