Agatha Macbeth: Hope everything works out for you
    Wol Euler sighs.

    Wol Euler nods.
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah well
    Agatha Macbeth: How's Wol?
    Wol Euler: exhausted
Wol Euler: 10:30 to 9:30 with two half-hour breaks

    Agatha Macbeth: Sorry
Wol Euler: it won't fight back as strongly
    Agatha Macbeth: Ha
Agatha Macbeth pictures a fighting building
Wol Euler: first thing I have to do tomorrow is to print all the floors, and the room list, and go through it checking things off, to be sure we haven't forgotten anything
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, make sure the roof is on
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: how are you, Korel and Aggers?

Agatha Macbeth: Maybe it's a thursday thing
    Eherim Infinity: It might be.
Agatha Macbeth: Isn't it supposed to be something about daydreams?
Agatha Macbeth: Or was that last week
Wol Euler: you could look at the signboard :)
Eherim Infinity: I have no idea. I've had a break from SL and don't know what is going on anywhere here. :-)
Wol Euler: eh, lag is the same as it was
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh, back recently?
Wol Euler: some nice places have closed, others have opened

    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
    Agatha Macbeth: Well done!
Agatha Macbeth pokes you in the ear
    Agatha Macbeth: How's Liz?
Agatha Macbeth: Looking very subcontinental if I may say so
Eliza Madrigal: Liz is just fine :) How's Aggers?
Agatha Macbeth: Me, same as always
Eliza Madrigal: I wore this for two days before I realized it changes colors while one wears it
    Eliza Madrigal: chameleon clothes :)

I notice eyes seem to be focused in my direction

Agatha Macbeth: Er, why does everyone seem to be staring at me?
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
    Eliza Madrigal: why not
    Agatha Macbeth: Hm
Agatha Macbeth: You have all seen me before eh?
Wol Euler: it's the gravitational attraction of your beauty
    Agatha Macbeth: Nah
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Zen Arado's current display-name is "Zen".
Eliza Madrigal: what were you all discussing? I was talking with Lukey for a bit.. sorry to be late
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Zenny
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Zen :)
    --BELL--1330

    Eherim Infinity: ba DING!
    Agatha Macbeth: Ba dong
    Wol Euler: hello zen!
Agatha Macbeth: It is you Zen, not Barry Gibb?
    Zen Arado: oh:)
    Zen Arado: better change
Agatha Macbeth: You seem to have had a makeover
    Zen Arado: just darker skin
    Agatha Macbeth: The DJ look?
    Wol Euler: summer look
    Zen Arado: cooler look?
Wol Euler: burned brown by the rain :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Da cool dude
    Zen Arado: ha ha
Zen Arado: it was raining yesterday
    Zen Arado: and today
Eliza Madrigal: here too... every day for weeks...
Agatha Macbeth: Been awful here too, and windy
    Zen Arado: will be windier
Agatha Macbeth: Like the monsoon season or something
Eliza Madrigal: it is more the natural weather for this time than has been the case in recent years
Eliza Madrigal: one July it rained so much neighbors had canoes out
Eliza Madrigal: going to the mailbox by boat :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Erk
    Wol Euler: hehehe
Agatha Macbeth: Did the letters get wet?
Eliza Madrigal: wish I'd had one at the time ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: As long as the alligators don't come into town
Eliza Madrigal: such a strange sight... all the stalled cars about
Eliza Madrigal: ooh they do then
    Agatha Macbeth: Eek
    Wol Euler raises an eyebrow.
Wol Euler: keep the pets and small children indoors
Eliza Madrigal: many alligators out of usual areas.. but not now... now it is rather normal
    Eliza Madrigal: no canoeing :)
Agatha Macbeth pictures a gator swimming round Miami
Eliza Madrigal: they're really awesome creatures
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, just don't get too close
Eliza Madrigal: like marshmallows to eat
Agatha Macbeth: Rather marshmallows than you
    Zen Arado: human skulls?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Agatha Macbeth: They do seem to grin a lot
Eliza Madrigal: I've had a few gator dreams... once I dreamed they were trying to get in under the door
    Wol Euler: O.O
Agatha Macbeth: Did they knock first?
Eliza Madrigal: suppose that's their way of knocking
Agatha Macbeth: Could be worse, could be mormons
    Eliza Madrigal: :P
    Wol Euler: elder alligators
Zen Arado: you just put a large stick in their mouths and they can't close them
    Zen Arado: easy
    Eliza Madrigal: yeah, that's all
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Eliza Madrigal: like in cartoons
Agatha Macbeth: Must remember to pack a stick if I ever go to Florida
Eliza Madrigal: toothpicks work to keep eyelids open too
Wol Euler: I find it so funny to see these Mormon missionary *children* walking around in their suits and shiny hair with badges saying "Elder This" and "Elder That"
Wol Euler: they all seem to be around 17 yrs old
    Agatha Macbeth: Start em young
Zen Arado: used to know a couple
Eherim Infinity: Of take a bath, so one dosn't smell like a usual pray in the swamps they live in.
    Eliza Madrigal grins
Zen Arado: I bought the book of Mormon
    Wol Euler listens.
Zen Arado: looked very like the Bible to me
Agatha Macbeth: Was it worth it?
Eliza Madrigal: have one Mormon friend... but we've never really discussed her beliefs
Eliza Madrigal: she has great recipes though because of big families :)
Zen Arado: they were trying to covert me and I tried to be open
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Zen Arado: convert
    Agatha Macbeth: And covert too
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: but they got angry when I rejected it
Agatha Macbeth: Very broad minded of them
Eliza Madrigal: defensiveness usually means one hasn't gotten to the point they question what they were raised in yet
Zen Arado: they thought they had me I guess
Eliza Madrigal: (seems to me... subjective opinion)
Wol Euler: "one more and we get a toaster oven!"
Wol Euler: "DAMN, I wanted that oven!"
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Zen Arado: must be hard going for them
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Zen Arado: young boys far away from home
Eliza Madrigal: when I was a christian I went to the streets ... with a "survey"
Eliza Madrigal: but I failed the program
Zen Arado: and in N.Ireland - a dangerous place in the 70's
    Wol Euler: awwww
    Agatha Macbeth: Good lord
Zen Arado: I used to counsel converts at rallies
    Agatha Macbeth: In Nuremburg?
Zen Arado: young girls would come yo you with streaming eyes
    Zen Arado: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Zen Arado: Barry Moore crusades
Agatha Macbeth: Shouldn't give them onions at that age
Zen Arado: he was a canadian Wol
    Agatha Macbeth: That explains it!
    --BELL--1345
Zen Arado: they brought him to N.Ireland to do evengelical rallies in the eighties
    Zen Arado: http://www.bmoore.on.ca/barry.htm
    Agatha Macbeth: Like Billy Graham?
    Zen Arado: yes
Zen Arado: big choir singing 'just as I am without one plea' at the end
Zen Arado: he is a great orator
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Should have introduced him to Ian Paisley, might have been instructive...
Zen Arado: Paisley would have found fault with him
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
    Agatha Macbeth: No!
    Wol Euler: indubitably
Wol Euler: "in 1960, founded the first inter-denominational Canadian-based evangelistic association" I wonder how that works?
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe they invite a moose
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: moose are inclusive
Agatha Macbeth: A wee moose aboot the hoose
    Korel Laloix: back
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello back
Eliza Madrigal: I stopped doing the survey thing after a dream I had where jesus and i were walking down a busy road, and I left him to try to talk to someone and I looked back like "well?" and he just kept walking
Korel Laloix: What did I miss?
    Agatha Macbeth: Not a lot
    Korel Laloix: Ok.. smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Kori :)
    Korel Laloix: heya
    Agatha Macbeth: How's things K?
    Wol Euler: wb korel
Zen Arado: I just outlined my evangelical christian career
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Wol Euler smiles and nods to Eliza
Korel Laloix: How was that?.. smiles
Eliza Madrigal: I failed the program cause I just liked to talk to people anyway... could never actually ask the survey
Zen Arado: how I lead people to Christ
    Zen Arado: led
Eliza Madrigal: zen and I would have been quite a team
Korel Laloix: I am not quite there yet.. but I do get called the Church Lady a lot... grins
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Zon :)
    Zon Kwan: heya
    Zen Arado: Hi Zon
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Zon
Zen Arado: you don't give out tracts Kori?
Korel Laloix: I am really good at getting unchurched folks into the door.... has nothing to do with me being bossy at all...
    Korel Laloix smiles
Korel Laloix: i have done that before.
    Agatha Macbeth: You bossy?
Zen Arado: I was deadly serious about this for a long time
    Zen Arado: oh yes
Eliza Madrigal: I think that's really different... inviting people to church is kind
Korel Laloix: it is good to take things like that seriously I think.
    Wol Euler: hello zon
Zen Arado: yes but it's like it was a different me when I look back now
Eliza Madrigal: :) sees Epherim's tail
    Eliza Madrigal: *Eherim
Korel Laloix: My journey to Christ started in SL, so I do like to hear other people's stories about it though.
Agatha Macbeth: The Zen of yesterday
Zen Arado: I used to give my testimony
    Zen Arado: outdoors
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Zen Arado: how I was saved
Korel Laloix: The best thing that ever happened to me for sure.
Agatha Macbeth: Glad to hear it
Korel Laloix: Very transformational in so many ways.
    Korel Laloix: Very healing.
Zen Arado: miss the church fellowship sometimes
    Korel Laloix: Very opening.
Korel Laloix: But a really very funny experience looking back.
Zen Arado: but once you leave they turn their backs on you
Eliza Madrigal: I look at it now like the opening of one's heart - which may come in diff ways for people
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Zen Arado: perhaps it was a first opening
Zen Arado: a growing away from materialism anyway
Eherim Infinity: By accident, I found a Techno Rave deep in the woods last saturday. I guess it can be compared to going to church.
Agatha Macbeth: Well that's a step in the right direction
Korel Laloix: I don't think that is the case.. but maybe depends on the congrigation.
Eliza Madrigal: well I can't go to church and be open about my buddhist practice and in the buddhist temple they sort of patted my head when I talked about my christian experience but didn't reject it
Zen Arado: well if you leave them you can't expect them to chase after you
    Zen Arado: I guess
    Agatha Macbeth: 'Oi come back'
Zen Arado: they would call it devil worship in my church
Eherim Infinity: I bet they do. :-)
Eliza Madrigal: world is changing now though... and fellowships too
    Zen Arado: worshipping heathen gods
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Agatha Macbeth: Stormy knows about that
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Zen Arado: :)
Korel Laloix: There are those that approach things that way for sure.
Zen Arado: very strict and puritan
Zen Arado: women not allowed to teach
Eherim Infinity: Going to church was like the techno raves of the medieval times. :-)
    Zen Arado: no female elders
Eliza Madrigal: I've sort of been amazed that my grandfather will listen to me talk about meditation now
    Eliza Madrigal smiles at Eherim
Eliza Madrigal: not just christianity like that Zen
Zen Arado: Scottish kirks don't allow organs or music of any kind
Korel Laloix: lol.. my denomination has about 85% lesbian vicars.
Eliza Madrigal: some buddhist scripture suggests that a woman needs to come back as a man to be able to teach
Zen Arado: 'awa wi' your bag o whistles'
    --BELL--1400
Korel Laloix: One thing I love about Christianity is that no one can agree on anything ... but a few core concepts... very unlike my group think philosophy professors.
    Zen Arado: true
Eherim Infinity: Some core principals are also somthing christians can disagree with.
Eherim Infinity: Like if God is for anyone to experience.
Agatha Macbeth: Personally I think I'll go with the techno rave
    Eliza Madrigal: interesting
    Eliza Madrigal smiles at Aggers
Korel Laloix: Those can be fun as well.. you can do both.
Korel Laloix: You dont' have to limit yourself.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: my friend is marrying a former minister and they are having these discussions..."honey everything is equal but if we can't agree then I choose because I'm the man"
    Agatha Macbeth: There's no limits
Zen Arado: actually the teachings of Jesus are very like non dual ones I think
    Zen Arado: ha yes Eliza
    Korel Laloix: lol
Zen Arado: it says it in the Bible
Eliza Madrigal: but, you know... she sort of likes that
    Eliza Madrigal: so :)
Zen Arado: yes many Christian women like it
    Korel Laloix: Not really.
    Zon Kwan: submissive..
Eliza Madrigal: I think they'll be happy.. she feels like it is a net of support
Korel Laloix: A lot of no Christian women as well..
Zen Arado: they like being sibs :)
    Zen Arado: subs
    Agatha Macbeth: Fire torpedoes
Eliza Madrigal: his taking care, bottom line, is the way its seen
Korel Laloix: I have run into that as well, with the whole butch femme thing.. it works.
Zen Arado: the natural order of things
Eherim Infinity: Some christian mystics see the passion of christ as a recipy of how to get to experience God. Submission to the fullest.
    Zen Arado: (they think)
Korel Laloix: People take on their own relationships contracts however they want.
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: I feel that's different... two negotiating
    Zen Arado: deepest acceptance
Korel Laloix: There is this really interesting song with the lyrics.... if I could be the servent of all, no lower place to fall...
Korel Laloix: I like the feeling of that.
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Korel Laloix: Let me see if I an find the vid.
Eherim Infinity trying to remember how to make these italic writings
Zen Arado: 'Wounded for me...wounded for me...' very moving song
    Eherim Infinity succeeded
Korel Laloix: If we all have an attitude of service in heart, then the concept of submitting to others (in conext) is not that far of a stretch
Zen Arado: did you ever read 'The Imitation of Christ'?
Zen Arado: a very famous book by a Christian monk
Eliza Madrigal: it is just church regulating that troubles me, especially since women were written out of things
Zen Arado: it is about humility and serving others
Eliza Madrigal: have heard of it but not read that zen
    Zen Arado: Thomas a Kempis
Eliza Madrigal: I have to go..nearly forgot son's tutoring because I enjoy these talks
Korel Laloix: Will look it up
Zon Kwan: submit to others...what a strange thought
Wol Euler: bye eliza, toot well
Agatha Macbeth: Bye Liz, tutor well
Eliza Madrigal: hugs and bye and thanks and merry be
    Zen Arado: http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Imitatio...tion+of+christ
    Zon Kwan: bye eliza
    Korel Laloix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtxxGnOoctw
Eherim Infinity: I read the Autobiography by Teresa of Ávila. Loads of submission in her story as well.
Korel Laloix: Silly video but interesting lyrics.
Zen Arado: Have to go to Xiri's esposition
    Korel Laloix: wado
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Zen
    Korel Laloix: ciao
Wol Euler: bye zen, take care
Agatha Macbeth: I must take a look at that too
    Zen Arado: byee
    Zon Kwan: bye zen
Wol Euler: I think I'll go too, but will go to bed after that, so tired :(
    Korel Laloix: Take care.
Wol Euler: goodnight zon, korel, eherim
    Eherim Infinity: goody nyghty
    Korel Laloix: ciao bella
Agatha Macbeth: Schlaf gut lebchen ♥
Agatha Macbeth: Bye for now folklings
    Zon Kwan: nite all
    Korel Laloix: ciao
Korel Laloix: Took me a little while to scare them off today... smiles
Eherim Infinity: The thingy is still recording.
    Eherim Infinity: lolz
Korel Laloix: You can turn it off if you want.
    Eherim Infinity: Doen't matter.
Korel Laloix: It keeps goign until everyone leaves I think.
    --BELL--1415
Korel Laloix: Not realy played with it that much in a while...
Eherim Infinity: How come your avatar is so tiny compared to mine? Am I a big guy here?
    Eherim Infinity: :-)
Korel Laloix: Iam 4'9 RL so the same here.
Eherim Infinity: I see. I use the metric system irl, so I hav no idea.
Korel Laloix: 144 cm i think.
Korel Laloix: Have not done the math in a while.
Eherim Infinity: Ok, that's not very much. :-)
    Korel Laloix: 145
Eherim Infinity: I am 5 feet and 7.7165 inches.
Eherim Infinity: I guess I cheated a bit here in SL, then.
    Korel Laloix: Good height.
Korel Laloix: it really does not matter.
Korel Laloix: I am just in a phase of making my AV look as much like me RL as I can.
Korel Laloix: So this is it.
Eherim Infinity: Do you know of any events this evening.
    Eherim Infinity: ?
    Korel Laloix: Not in SL.
Korel Laloix: There is the regular chat here.
Korel Laloix: Junkyard blues might have a live performer.
Eherim Infinity: Yup. I guess I will take a trip around my landmarks and see if anything is going down.
Eherim Infinity: Well, nice meeting you. We might run into each other at some other point.
Korel Laloix: Depends on what you want. you can do an event serach as well in some viewers.
    Eherim Infinity: Yes, true.
Eherim Infinity: Well see ya, and have a good one. Peace out.
Korel Laloix: Sometimes good, sometimes not so much.
Korel Laloix: Anyway... thanks for the chat.
Korel Laloix: do na da go hv i
