Pila Mulligan: Steve, Teak is a fellow on SL from Switzerland I believe with more than 50 years of Zen practice

Paradise Tennant: hmm do not know I know he lives with his wife who is a nurse near .. blinking rapidly

Paradise Tennant: yes very much so

Pila Mulligan: there are some here like Maxine approaching his level of experience

Pila Mulligan: Stim "became one of the first students of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and practice in the West, earning an advanced degree from his original Tibetan teacher. He has studied Eastern contemplative traditions intensively for thirty-nine years with many Tibetan, Chinese and Korean masters, and has also served on the faculty of the Institute for World Religions and the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery since the mid-1990’s."

Pila Mulligan: the founder, Pema, is a "Professor of Astrophysics and Interdisciplinary Studies at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Princeton, NJ, where he has been on the faculty since 1985."

Paradise Tennant: I am in toronto .. so not so very far :)

Pila Mulligan: an astrophysicist with a lot of Buddhist experience and leanings

Pila Mulligan: there was a real life retreat there last year

Paradise Tennant: :)) physics and buddhism .. are marching along the same past at the quantum level
