Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning afternoon everyone
    Korel Laloix: Bozho

Xirana Oximoxi: nice new peoposal for the Art of Being project Bleu!!
Xirana Oximoxi: I'll begin to think about it:)
    Bleu Oleander: ty! Xiri
Bleu Oleander: I think it will be fun
Bleu Oleander: Storm is going to transform the Dome for winter
Bleu Oleander: so will be nice!
Xirana Oximoxi: yes...we can also talk about 'clarity' here....it can be inspiring:)
Riddle Sideways: just reading it now
Xirana Oximoxi: ah yes...last winter he did it wonderfully
Bleu Oleander: yes, that's why it will be nice to have it again
Zen Arado: not clear about clarity
Xirana Oximoxi: time goes so quick:))
Bleu Oleander: clear about clarity ... :)
Xirana Oximoxi: yes...in what sense can we approach this topic?
Bleu Oleander: many senses I think
Xirana Oximoxi: hehe yes we need to clarify clarity! :)
    Bleu Oleander: oh nice snow
    Korel Laloix: Horrid snow.
Korel Laloix: At least it is not rea.
    Bleu Oleander: hehe
    Korel Laloix: real
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Bleu Oleander: easy for me to say in Arizona :)
    Bleu Oleander: clarity of thought
Korel Laloix is really looking forward to global warming
Zen Arado: it looks nivce but that's all
    Bleu Oleander: clarity of communication
    Bleu Oleander: clarity of expression
Bleu Oleander: lots of interpretations I think
Riddle Sideways: just talking about seems to make it see-able
Zen Arado: sounds like my writing tutor
Bleu Oleander: how art can provide clarity
    Zen Arado: mine doesn't
Zen Arado: I try to confuse :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bleu Oleander: art often give me clarity
Korel Laloix: Can you say how BLeu?
Bleu Oleander: I see things in my own art that I didn't know before
Bleu Oleander: I also like working in black and white
    Bleu Oleander: and transparencies
Zen Arado: I need people to explain my paintings to me :)
Zen Arado: they see things I don't
Bleu Oleander: I sometimes don't see things in my paintings while i'm painting ... only when I've finished
Bleu Oleander: everyone brings a different vision to art
Zen Arado: if it comes from subconscious or intuition the logical mind doesn't gert it
Zen Arado: or maybe only later as you say Bleu
    --BELL--
Bleu Oleander: even years later :)
Xirana Oximoxi: but....we must imagine ways to represent 'clarity' ...it seems not easy at the moment:)
Bleu Oleander: transparency is one way
Bleu Oleander: perhaps not seeing everything in black and white
Xirana Oximoxi: yes...right:) a good idea
    Bleu Oleander: shades of gray
    Bleu Oleander: clarity in simplicity
Korel Laloix: Or perhapse seeing everything in black and white is clarity... and grey is out of focus.
Zen Arado: complete clarity is invisible?
Zen Arado: hmm or nothing obscuring
    Zen Arado: nothing blurred
Bleu Oleander: nothing obfuscated (Storm's word)
    Bleu Oleander: great word actually
Zen Arado: remembers a zen koan
    Zen Arado: (as usual)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Zen Arado: about polishing a mirror
    Bleu Oleander: hi Sophia :)
Zen Arado: two monks have to write a poem to see who would be successor to Fifth Patriarch
    Riddle Sideways: hi sophia
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi everyone <3
    Zen Arado: Hi Sharon !!
    Xirana Oximoxi: hello Sophia:)
    Zen Arado: long time
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey ssl :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
Zen Arado: nice to see you again
SophiaSharon Larnia: thank you, nice to see you too
Zen Arado: we are talking about clarity
    SophiaSharon Larnia: thanks
Bleu Oleander: our new Art of Being project
    SophiaSharon Larnia: nods
Xirana Oximoxi: and Zen has begin to explaina story:)
Zen Arado: anyway, one monk writes a poem: The body is the wisdom-tree, The mind is a bright mirror in a stand; Take care to wipe it all the time, And allow no dust to cling.
Zen Arado: whic was greatly praised
Zen Arado: but the other writes this :
Zen Arado: Fundamentally no wisdom-tree exists, Nor the stand of a mirror bright. Since all is empty from the beginning, Where can the dust alight
Zen Arado: and he gets the job even though he is quite illiterate and had to get someone to write the poem down for him
Zen Arado: something to do with not striving
    Bleu Oleander: clarity of mind
    Zen Arado: yes
Zen Arado: allowing clarity to emerge
Bleu Oleander: clarity as a process
Zen Arado: clarity as the natural state
Zen Arado: over whcih we lay confusion
    Zen Arado: layers of thought
Zen Arado: (which I am doing now ) :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: :))
Bleu Oleander: clarity as whole vs parts
    Zen Arado: hmm yes
    Zen Arado: a seamless whole
    Zen Arado: a simplicity
Bleu Oleander: many ways to visualize clarity
    Zen Arado: not a puzzle
    Zen Arado: not complex
Xirana Oximoxi: and what may seem clarty to one may seem a confusion to others
Zen Arado: but we love complexity don't we?
Bleu Oleander: seeing patterns can be a clarity of vision
    Zen Arado: yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: “The surest way to become Tense, Awkward, and Confused is to develop a mind that tries too hard - one that thinks too much.” ― Benjamin Hoff, The Tao of Pooh
Zen Arado: or seeing a whole in the patterns
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: Ah, favorite book = Tao of Pooh
    Zen Arado: heh
SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles (I didnt mean to post that before the bell)
    Zen Arado: must read that
    Zen Arado: dropping thinking
Riddle Sideways: but thank you, Sophia
Bleu Oleander: never read it ... good?
    Riddle Sideways: yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: it explains tao concepts in an easy to understand way'
Zen Arado: perhaps that is a big difference between people..some think thinking clarifies
Zen Arado: other that it confuses
Bleu Oleander: some thinking confuses, some clarifies
SophiaSharon Larnia: I'm beginning to understand that I am of the first in that sentence :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: (confuses vs clarifies)
Zen Arado: I read an explanation of the story about a man looking for a set of keys under a lamp even though he lost them on the dark side of the street
Bleu Oleander: no need to choose ... perhaps just recognize when reaches clarity?
Zen Arado: 'The spiritual wisdom for which we yearn is not to be found under the bright light of science or reason. We must follow the advice of the mystics and search for it within. Greer, John (2012-02-01). Seeing, Knowing, Being (p. 116).
Zen Arado: (boxy wouldn't like that I guess)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Zen Arado: but science clarifies too
SophiaSharon Larnia: mystics are annoying like that :)
Bleu Oleander: many tools to clarity
    Bleu Oleander: many paths
Zen Arado: depends what kind of wisdom we want
Korel Laloix: Is there such thing as non-spiritual wisdom?
    Bleu Oleander: kind of wisdom?
Zen Arado: well knowing the earth goes around the sun is wisdom
Bleu Oleander: isn't all wisdom wisdom?
Korel Laloix: Mabye semantics, but to me, that is knowledge.
    Zen Arado: hmmm yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: seeing reality as it is, not catagorized as spiritual or anything else... ?
Bleu Oleander: was just going to say that .... knowledge
Korel Laloix: But this might be just a lanague issue for me.
Zen Arado: wisdom seems deeper than knowledge
Bleu Oleander: perhaps wisdom is applied knowledge?
Zen Arado: knowledge is just facts
    Zen Arado: maybe
Riddle Sideways: clarity seems deeper than wisdom
Zen Arado: seems more do do with people not material things?
Bleu Oleander: clarity as an ultimate wisdom?
    Riddle Sideways: maybe
    Riddle Sideways: or not
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Zen Arado: clarity involves seeing?
Xirana Oximoxi: different levels of clarity?
Zen Arado: noy just on its own?
Korel Laloix: Maybe I am not getting this whole thing.. but to me, clarity is just a temporary state of mind that lets you make a decision.
    Zen Arado: not
Bleu Oleander: I like that Kori
Zen Arado: yeh but clarity can also mean things falling into place
    Zen Arado: a revelation
    Zen Arado: seeing the light
Zen Arado: yes whci make a decision easier
Bleu Oleander: I see many different art projects in our conversations today :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: yes:)
    Zen Arado: good :)
Riddle Sideways: the relative action word Clarity seems to always need a subject to act on
Bleu Oleander: challenge is to create them!
    Xirana Oximoxi: hehe
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: sure....
    Zen Arado: a eureka moment
Zen Arado: lots of different disparate items suddenly coalesce
Bleu Oleander: clarity as action ... interesting Riddle
    Zen Arado: happened to Einstein
Zen Arado: but action needed first
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes Riddle :) thanks
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: so clarity isn't a standalone?
    Zen Arado: as Riddle says
Zen Arado: it is a way of seeing or thinking?
Bleu Oleander: is anything a standalone?
    Zen Arado: heh no:)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Zen Arado: but that's non dualist perspective
SophiaSharon Larnia: it is a descriptive word
    Zen Arado: thinks of vagueness
    Zen Arado: opposite?
    Riddle Sideways: unclear
    Bleu Oleander: darkness vs light?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: cloudy
Zen Arado: but if reality is actually inexplicable then it isn't clear
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hah
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Zen Arado: clearly indescribable
SophiaSharon Larnia: laughing out loud for reals and not really sure why
Zen Arado: so any clarity is false?
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, having a Point of View would not be Clarity either
Yakuzza Lethecus: clarity = truth ?
    Bleu Oleander: interesting questions
Zen Arado: it could be temporarily clear
Xirana Oximoxi: yes...one after the other:)
    Xirana Oximoxi: quick
Zen Arado: hmm truth should be clear
    Bleu Oleander: what is truth?
    Zen Arado: heh
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: what is
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ?
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Zen Arado: maybe we have to settle for temporary illuminations
Bleu Oleander: actually not a bad thing
Riddle Sideways: until we get to all seeing all the time zen
Zen Arado: working pieces of clarity
Xirana Oximoxi: I must go now...take caree all and see you soon! :-)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Xirana
    Zen Arado: byee Xiri :)
Bleu Oleander: take care Xiri :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye xirana
    Korel Laloix: ciao
Bleu Oleander: need to go also
    Bleu Oleander: take care everyone
    Bleu Oleander: think clearly

    SophiaSharon Larnia: great
    SophiaSharon Larnia: thank you
    Bleu Oleander: bye all :)
    Zen Arado: byee Bleu
Zen Arado: wonder if I can use an invisible exhibit
    Zen Arado: :)
Zen Arado: but I already did that
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hah
Riddle Sideways: and those avs without clarity would not see it
    Zen Arado: :)
Riddle Sideways: others would see that they don't see
SophiaSharon Larnia: know what theyre missing? ;)
Riddle Sideways: does an artwork instead the viewer KNOW
    Zen Arado: ?
Riddle Sideways: even in an instance of complete clarity, the artist creates the artwork
Riddle Sideways: does the viewer of said artwork
Riddle Sideways: have to, get to see it
    --BELL--
Zen Arado: I often start a painting with no idea where it will go, no plan whatsoever
SophiaSharon Larnia: I want to say that the artwork would point to the moon, that its true meaning is in the mind of the artist, but I'm not sure about that.
Zen Arado: and writers do that to
Zen Arado: it's like artwork can have a mind of its own
Riddle Sideways: musicians do that too
    Zen Arado: develop itself
    Zen Arado: yes
    Yakuzza Lethecus: thx everyone
SophiaSharon Larnia: got to go too, take care
    Riddle Sideways: thanks all
    SophiaSharon Larnia: waves
