Catrinamonblue Resident: I hung 2 loads of laundry outside today, lovely to smell clean cloths dried in the sun

Aphrodite Macbain: Have to make do with a dryer in the basement
Catrinamonblue Resident: I don't have a dryer, haven't had one in over 5 years :)

Catrinamonblue Resident: the only thing I miss is warm fluffy towels :)

Catrinamonblue Resident: I have some vivid dreams from time to time but not often :)
Aphrodite Macbain: can u remember any?
Catrinamonblue Resident: usually they are about houses :) large rambling old houses that have stranger corners and nooks
Aphrodite Macbain: I had one where I was taken up into the milky way

Aphrodite Macbain: they say houses represent our lives- the basement os the past, the top floor being the future
Catrinamonblue Resident: really? That is neat I'm almost always in the attic :)

Catrinamonblue Resident: not really stuff just rooms upon rooms and strange twists and turns

Aphrodite Macbain: or are they just an assemblage of memories?
Catrinamonblue Resident: I don't know, it's not something I have considered very deeply before

Catrinamonblue Resident: I think that dreams can sometimes be a way for our subconscious to work out problems, but for me my dreams never really seem to be about those kinds of things.
Catrinamonblue Resident: umm I haven't had time to work on it though I do have an egg to work with :)

Catrinamonblue Resident: anyway that was what Sun handed out on the first day they talked about it :)
Aphrodite Macbain: and will wait for it to hatch?
Catrinamonblue Resident: there is an opening on one side of it :)
Aphrodite Macbain: try and make it transparent and put stuff in it
Catrinamonblue Resident: You'll have to talk to Sun about it more I haven't really gotten into it :)

Aphrodite Macbain: I was thinking of making something that relates to my space dream

Catrinamonblue Resident: have never read that book, will look into it :)

Aphrodite Macbain: How are you feeling these days Cat? Putting on some more weight?
Catrinamonblue Resident: no, having a hard time with that
Aphrodite Macbain: why? you dont feel like eating?
Catrinamonblue Resident: I'm eating I am really eating but the stress I'm under is burning calories up at a fantastic rate
Aphrodite Macbain: I wish stress would do that to me!
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm at the pavilion
Catrinamonblue Resident: Dr said I need to eat more calories :) she suggested boost or ensure on top of what I'm eating

Aphrodite Macbain: I have a friend who had nightmares that involved bears
stevenaia Michinaga: I can't remember the last time I had a nightmare, or if I ever did
stevenaia Michinaga: other than one of those falling dreams that you wake up before you hit the bottom
Aphrodite Macbain: really?you haven't woken up with a start or were lost or were afraid?
stevenaia Michinaga: no
Aphrodite Macbain: yes
Aphrodite Macbain: I dream those on a regular basis. Running and getting lost and meeting people and having long conversations.
Catrinamonblue Resident: the only bad dreams I ever had were ones were I was trying to run away and was moving as slow as molasseses
Aphrodite Macbain: I am told I talk constantly in my sleep
Aphrodite Macbain: I know that dream Cat!
Catrinamonblue Resident: haven't had one of those in many years :)

Catrinamonblue Resident: yes, usually it was about my mother
Aphrodite Macbain: you cant reach your goal
Catrinamonblue Resident: trying to get away from her
Aphrodite Macbain: oh! was she chasing you?
Catrinamonblue Resident: not really just I couldn't get away :)

Catrinamonblue Resident: like I said I haven't had those in years now, I have dealt with my feelings toward my mother and let it go

Aphrodite Macbain: Good for you. How did you do that?
Aphrodite Macbain: I use rituals
Catrinamonblue Resident: years of therapy and learning to just let go :) she is as she is and nothing can change that

Aphrodite Macbain: we think we are all alike but when we compare things like dreams and temperments, I realized we are all very different from eachother

Aphrodite Macbain: I was telling Zen that I can shift from emotion to emotion very quickly - sad, happy, sad, happy

Aphrodite Macbain: he said he never does that and stays even all the time. Never very happy or very sad
Aphrodite Macbain: not by choice, no

Aphrodite Macbain: but something can trigger me and poof, I've changed again
stevenaia Michinaga: wow, I can't imagine
Aphrodite Macbain: emotionally volatile
Aphrodite Macbain: really?
Aphrodite Macbain: you have never suddenly been made very sad?
stevenaia Michinaga: I've been sad and happy. but only depressed once
Catrinamonblue Resident: I'm generally very even tempered and only under extreme stress find myself volatile to my emotions
Aphrodite Macbain: depressed being an extreme and lasting version of sad?
Catrinamonblue Resident: depression and I have walked side by side many times over the years
stevenaia Michinaga: depression was as creepie as my depressed friends said it was
Catrinamonblue Resident: depression is a deep dark hole where you feel there is nothing left but death

Catrinamonblue Resident: you can come out of it

Catrinamonblue Resident: I have been cleaning and purging my house :) I'm not one to hold on to much really
Korel Laloix: I don't... smiles.. that is why I curious about how it got in my inventory.

Korel Laloix: From the last session I have been thinking about that point.
Korel Laloix: Are content and emotional memories different?
Aphrodite Macbain: what do you think?
Catrinamonblue Resident: they can be I think but sometimes they are together so hard to differentiate from each other
Korel Laloix: And since I was chemically labotomized with the drugs, is the emotional content of my memories from that time less?
Korel Laloix: Something I am thinking about.
Korel Laloix: Interesting how our brains work or don't.
Aphrodite Macbain: you felt no emotions then?
Korel Laloix: The dose they had me on made me emotionally flat.
Aphrodite Macbain: which was worse?
Catrinamonblue Resident: it may not have been the drugs but just the way in which your mind decided to deal with the stuff going on
Korel Laloix: That is a good point.. maybe.
Aphrodite Macbain: drugs can do that too
Aphrodite Macbain: so do lobotomies
Korel Laloix: Which was worse of what?
Catrinamonblue Resident: the mind is a strange thing where abuse is concerned and each person handles it differently
Aphrodite Macbain: and shock treatment
Aphrodite Macbain: which was worse- feeling nothing or feeling too much?
Korel Laloix: I don't know.
Korel Laloix: Interesting question.
Korel Laloix: I think if I had real emotional memories of my teen years I would be much worse off than I am now.
Aphrodite Macbain: I suppose you always want the other thing
Aphrodite Macbain: I see you have become a doctor Korel...(dressed in doctor's clothes)

Aphrodite Macbain: is this a clue to where you are heading?
Korel Laloix: Actually, vet school is one the list of possible what-next options.
