Raffila Millgrove: so do you think that the theme went well this week.. seem to me like it petered out pretty early. i haven't finished reading all the logs.
Aphrodite Macbain: I haven't read many of the logs Raffi. Perhaps it is difficult to keep talking about the same thing.

Raffila Millgrove: the first two.. really went.. long and made it thru the week with new things to say.
stevenaia Michinaga: I have dificulty with it as religion palys such a different role for each of us
Aphrodite Macbain: Yes. Although we got some very good discussions about religions and their value to people
Aphrodite Macbain: That was the point I think stevenaia- how we were able to use the religious traditions in our own lives- they wold all be different
Aphrodite Macbain: I was hoping to hear a wide variety of responses
Raffila Millgrove: i also put in a small point that atheism could also be considered a vigorout tradition/resource.
Raffila Millgrove: +vigorous
stevenaia Michinaga: sometime diversity of perspective works when there is a common base, othertimes it's tough to wrap yourself around it
Aphrodite Macbain: yes it would be an intresting point to discuss Raffi
Aphrodite Macbain: I would think that your family's discussions round the dinner tableabout atheism would offer a thughtfl way of looking at any received knowledge
