    Threshold (according to dictionary.com):

    - gate, door, end, boundary; specifically : the end of a runway (2) : the place or point of entering or beginning
    - the point at which a physiological or psychological effect begins to be produced <has a high threshold for pain>
    - a level, point, or value above which something is true or will take place and below which it is not or will not

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Eden!
    Eden Haiku: (((Eliza)))
Eliza Madrigal: So nice to see you this morning :D
Eden Haiku: very pleased to see you too ;-)
Eden Haiku: Are you settling back after the retreat?
Eliza Madrigal: I am! It feels a little strange, but I'm beginning to 'unpack
Eliza Madrigal: as we've talked about before.... that threshold time :)
Eden Haiku: "unpacking" all your fresh wisdom I gather ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: It was a very rich time
Eliza Madrigal: though, also subtle in many ways
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Ewan
Eliza Madrigal: you look lovely today Eden.... no one else wears pink like you do :D

Eden Haiku: Treshold time, yes, what an interesting way to describe this frontier between being over there/ being back home.
Eden Haiku: Thank you Eliza ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: Windhorse Farm has many threshold places... little bridges and doorways in between gardens
    Ewan Bonham: Hi folks...:)
Eliza Madrigal: How are you doing Ewan? :) Hope all is well
Eden Haiku: Sunshine House looks so beautiful! Yellow walls! I love yellow walls!
Eliza Madrigal: MMM, yes! It was very bright
    Eden Haiku: Hello Ewan ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: Yellow front porch highlighted with orange flowers all about
Eliza Madrigal: looking out over a field of wild flowers and expansive lake
Eden Haiku: Summer house here is all wood panelled, a fifties style. I miss our colorful home ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: Sounds warm though.... and nice for a change?

Eden Haiku: Remembering my first "grown up book" borrowed from small book shelf in class: I was about 8. First book with no pictures, I felt such a big girl!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eliza Madrigal: What was it about?
Eden Haiku: The title was (translationg from French) "Isabelle and the yellow door".
    Eliza Madrigal: oooooo
Eden Haiku: Can't remember waht it was about: I guess it was a bit too much for me. I never got whay it was called like that, that I remember ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: What a wonderful title

Eden Haiku: Windhorse Farm maybe has the clue to that yellow door ;-)))
Eliza Madrigal: Yellow is supposed to be a color of welcome... openness
Eden Haiku: And friendship yes ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: and the front porch indeed had a very open and welcoming view
    Eliza Madrigal: YES
Eliza Madrigal: It was welcoming to some bugs as well, hehe

Eden Haiku: Van Gogh pâinting in yellow while waiting for his friend Gauguin in Arles. Who never came that time ;-(
Eden Haiku: His room with a chair is from that moment in time.
    Eliza Madrigal: mmmm, unrequited?
Eden Haiku: Can't remember excatly: Gauguin was busy with something, not realizing how his visit was so important for Van Gogh.
Eden Haiku: Maybe that was in "Letters to Theo"
    Eliza Madrigal: a missed moment
Eliza Madrigal: it is strange when we fall out of time with someone
Eden Haiku: Ah yes, the bugs. How did you handle them Eliza?
    Eliza Madrigal: easy to misread
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, well... I handled them by letting them have their way mostly....
Eliza Madrigal: and dealing with a bit of allergic reaction until just a few days ago actually :)
Eden Haiku: "Falling out of time with someone": it describes something very profound. Tell us more Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: Hm... well in the scenario you describe Eden... there is this sense of not hm, carelessness or lack of regard...
    Eliza Madrigal: but simply misestimation?
Eden Haiku: Ah yes. As I read "falling out of time with someone", it reminded me of my estranged sister.
Eliza Madrigal: too often people see things, maybe similar things, but at different times they seem to disagree
    Eliza Madrigal: (((Eden)))) yes
    Eden Haiku: Ah yes....
Eliza Madrigal: this is the sort of thing I'm thinking of too

Eden Haiku: What would you think Ewan?
Eden Haiku: Did you ever fell out of time with someone?
Eliza Madrigal: integration has everything to do with time and times and timelessness

    --BELL--

Ewan Bonham: Well, the concept of falling out of time...is interesting to me...
Ewan Bonham: I sometimes seek to fall out of time...
Ewan Bonham: Cause i feel sooo time conscious..
Ewan Bonham: But on the other hand, what I gather you are discussing...
Ewan Bonham: Is the falling away from time agreements with others..
Eden Haiku: (Picturing what Bleu could create in video images with words like "falling out of time" !!!
Ewan Bonham: And the effects that might have on an interactive dialogue and relationship..:)

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Susan :)
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Susan..

    Eliza Madrigal: time conscious, yes...
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes I want to jump 'ahead' with someone... start at the end, where none of the side-issues matter in any huge way... already put into perspective 'in the light of eternity' :)
Eliza Madrigal: and approach from 'there'
Eliza Madrigal: as though a hidden back-story has already come to light, redeeming us all
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Not sure it's about "time agreements" Ewan....That is certainly a cause of difficult times in a realtionship but I think we are talking about something else. Not sure what exactly...

Ewan Bonham: It is true that sometimes when we drop out of time, there is a healing affect ...by just standing still..
    Eliza Madrigal: mmmm
Eden Haiku: "hidden back-story redeeming us all" wow!!!
Ewan Bonham: And then when I return, I have more to give..:)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, yes I think that's very much related Ewan... 'stopping', 'standing still'

Eden Haiku: Ah yes, Kafka's quote about staying in one's room, the world curling at your feet :-)
Eliza Madrigal: ooooh yes.... that quote is exquisite!!
Eliza Madrigal: if we could just 'stay'
Eden Haiku: Let me find the exact quote....
    Eliza Madrigal: WB Susan :)
Eliza Madrigal: So we start by stopping :)
    iwandertoo Resident: (ty, issues...:) )
Eliza Madrigal: yes I see :) Signed on from work Susan?

Ewan Bonham: Yes, I believe when our heads are spinning and our state is not steady, it is hard to fully interact in an open manner..
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Susan..
    iwandertoo Resident: hotel
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
Eliza Madrigal: interesting Ewan... hard to connect in a fragmented state you mean?
    Eliza Madrigal: :) waves
    Ewan Bonham: Yes, exactly..
Ewan Bonham: I also find, that when I am not centered well, I feel a subtle separation from others...and even a defensiveness...
Eliza Madrigal: that seems when we are likely to miss the point, and get hung up about some peripheral issue/misunderstanding

Eden Haiku: Wondering if Susan is arriving or leaving, waving both ways ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
    Eliza Madrigal: swinging door
    Ewan Bonham: nodding...:)

Eden Haiku: Connecting from our fragmented self happens quite often though, sadly ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: indeed... fragments connecting with fragments
Ewan Bonham: For me, it can happen without awareness because I have not first taken the time to center..
Ewan Bonham: Funny, isn't it...we have to stand still before being ready to move ahead..
Eliza Madrigal: Does the other's part matter in this case Ewan? If you take time, does the interaction hinge on whether they've taken time?
Ewan Bonham: Hmm...good question, Eliza.. Guess i was thinking more of my own readiness..
Ewan Bonham: But...yes, i do sense when another person is not quite all there..
Ewan Bonham: And of course on sl, there is often sooo much multitasking...and much less non-verbal language to read..:0
Eliza Madrigal: true-- often no 'there' there :)
    Ewan Bonham: Smile..

Eliza Madrigal: Van Gogh... waiting for a visitor that doesn't arrive... what to do with that feeling of 'loss'.... where to put it where it doesn't crop up during the next interaction....
Eden Haiku: talking about multi-tasking, found the quote on a wbsite but there is no way to copy it arghhhh
    Eliza Madrigal: grr, hm..

    Eden Haiku: The Kafka quote
Eden Haiku: "you do not need to leave your room
Eden Haiku: Remain sitting at your table and listen.
Eden Haiku: Do not even listen, simply wait
Eden Haiku: be quiet still, and solitary.

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet." Franz Kafka

Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu! Nice to see you. We've been talking about 'being still' :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi all :)
    Eden Haiku: Hi Bleu ;-))
Eliza Madrigal: Thanks so much Eden... what an amazing sense of Life
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Blue
    Eliza Madrigal: Appreciation

Eliza Madrigal: Eden, when you are writing do you have one special spot? At a window or a wall? or a special view that you take?
Eden Haiku: As I'm using iPad lately, I can write anywhere, oputside, sitting in the moss. At dawn this morning by the fireplace ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eliza Madrigal: so you are versatile

    Nervous and Honored...

Eden Haiku: By the way. I'm have a new poem for the next Art of Being project. I could see you reading it Eliza as it is called "Lila",
Eliza Madrigal grins widely and feels butterflies in her stomach
    Bleu Oleander listens :)
Eden Haiku: It was inspired by your 'the house that self-built" video Bleu. A line I really liked.
    Bleu Oleander: oh nice Eden
    Bleu Oleander: which line?
Eliza Madrigal is definitely hoping to make tonight's event
Eliza Madrigal: or is that next week?
    Bleu Oleander: yes, tonight
Eden Haiku: The one about something like "It is not easy to... shared visions" (I have to see it again to catch a missing verb, do you remember what is your exact line Bleu?
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Ewan Bonham: Where will this be seen , Bleu?
Eden Haiku: I logged in at 6 am SLT to ctach the SKL openeing of Machinima then realized it is at 10 SLT. Thought it was am, is that pm Bleu?
Bleu Oleander: one sec Eden not sure myself
    Eden Haiku: he he
Eden Haiku: that happens a lot to me too ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))

    Bleu Oleander: it's now 7pm

    Bleu Oleander: 7pm slt
Bleu Oleander: not always so easy ... shared visions
Bleu Oleander: was that the line?
    Eden Haiku: Thanks Eliza
Eden Haiku: Not easy to.... shared visions
Eden Haiku: maybe I confused two lines.,.,.

Bleu Oleander: not always so easy to share .. not always so easy to understand
    Eden Haiku: yes

Eliza Madrigal: Hi Druth :) We've been talking about stillness, being 'there' when there, and tonight's machinima event where Bleu has a featured video :))
    Bleu Oleander: hi druth
    Eden Haiku: Hi druth
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Druth!
    druth Vlodovic: an interesting mix
    druth Vlodovic: hey all :)
Eliza Madrigal: we aim to please

Ewan Bonham: So these are LMs and you just go there at those times?
Eliza Madrigal: yes at 7PM SLT
Bleu Oleander: yes, the ceremony is at 7pm ... those lm's take you to the theater
Bleu Oleander: its a cool theater
Bleu Oleander: built for these projects
Ewan Bonham: Is it like a video, of poetry reading?
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Susan

Eliza Madrigal: Eden, to answer your question re where I write... sometimes there are spots that seem richer than others.... like a certain picnic table near my daughter's school... or a quiet cafe... spots where everything seems to collaborate rather than clash
    iwandertoo Resident: waves

Bleu Oleander: its a showcase of the videos chosen to represent machinima in sl for the month of august
Bleu Oleander: each month has a theme
Bleu Oleander: this one was "design and architecture"

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: waves to susan in the revolving door ;-)
    iwandertoo Resident: (sorry...)
Eliza Madrigal smiles re revolving door, thresholds.... and considers that 19 years ago today my daughter was born :D
    Eden Haiku: np ;-)
Eden Haiku: Oh, say happy birthday to her from me would you Eliza?
    Eliza Madrigal: TY :))
Ewan Bonham: Happy bd, Eliza for your da.
Bleu Oleander: congratulations to both of you :)
    Eliza Madrigal: TY :))

Eden Haiku: "we have overlapping rythms together we create beautiful visions' (Bleu)
Eden Haiku: Missed the quote again,...
    Eliza Madrigal: Lovely Lovely
Eden Haiku: Concentration on video now...;-)
Bleu Oleander: we are overlapping rhythms .. together we create ... beautiful visions
    Bleu Oleander: :))
Eden Haiku: I love "overlapping rythms', it,s threshold stuff, isn't Eliza?
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh, yes.... beautiful!
Bleu Oleander: the video was put on the editors picks list yesterday
Eden Haiku: Did you create the music on garage Band Bleu, it's very good!
Eliza Madrigal: it captures some sense of our not doing anything 'by ourselves' just from pure will
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Eliza Madrigal: but rather each expressing more than they can ever give credit for

Eden Haiku: native Indian feel to it (shakers)
    Eden Haiku: shamanic
Bleu Oleander: (influence of my environment)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: "if you try not always so easy"
    Eden Haiku: To understand
Bleu Oleander: next months theme is seasons
Eliza Madrigal: So you will try to do these once a month Bleu?
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Bleu Oleander: already have next one done
    Eliza Madrigal: wow @@
    Eden Haiku: "wow!!!

Bleu Oleander: here's a sneak preview
Ewan Bonham: Looks intently...now are these music and poetry videos?
    Bleu Oleander: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buosdLTPnvw
Bleu Oleander: they can be anything as long as they use the theme in some way
Bleu Oleander: no longer than 6 minutes
Bleu Oleander: and filmed in sl
Bleu Oleander: i'm working on octobers now ... theme is four elements

    milakel Resident: hi :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Mila
    milakel Resident: girlz :)
milakel Resident: eden in pink today :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Mila, nice to see you. We're watching Bleu's video for next month:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buosdLTPnvw
Bleu Oleander: I think they have plans to continue these themed videos thru next year

Eden Haiku: Caught the line!!! It wasn't a missing verg, it was a missing - (caN't remember how that sign is called in English)
Eliza Madrigal: How much fun, Bleu! a very fresh take
Eden Haiku: Inspiring line is: "not always easy —shared visions". That started me thinking...
    Bleu Oleander: thanks Eliza
    Ewan Bonham: Very nice..Bleu...kinda fun..
Ewan Bonham: But also shows much talent..:)
Bleu Oleander: a different take on the theme
    Bleu Oleander: thanks Ewan
Eliza Madrigal: yes, shows a lot of tinkering behind the scenes :) may give some foodies some ideas for how to use virtual worlds effectively :)
Ewan Bonham: Is it hard to learn how to make those?
Eden Haiku: Then ; "we are overlapping rhythms .. together we create ... beautiful visions". WoW!
    Eden Haiku: Greatly inspiring Bleu!
    Bleu Oleander: ty Eden!
Eliza Madrigal: the 'not always easy' line grounds the piece I think....
Eliza Madrigal: (speaking of the House that Self Built video)
Bleu Oleander: its easy to make things once you get the basics Ewan
    Ewan Bonham: Are there classes?
Eden Haiku: What time SLT is the screening of "The house that slef-built" Bleu? Today I mean.
Bleu Oleander: best place is the tower of primitives
Ewan Bonham: Like at Cledon or Builders Brewery?
    iwandertoo Resident: (waves quietly)

Eliza Madrigal: it may be throwing out yet another topic but I've also been thinking of how we cover our tracks.... which makes things look amazing but almost impossible :))
    Bleu Oleander: 7pm slt

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal waves to Susan
    Bleu Oleander: say more Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: *tend to cover tracks (like in cooking shows where little chopping and prep work is done - just magically appears, heh)
Eden Haiku: Thank you Bleu. So at 7pm SLT at this location is it: http://slurl.com/secondlife/LEA1/218/43/21 ?
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Eliza Madrigal: that's why I appreciate all the ways you and the theater crew go out of your way to give up secrets and tips :))
    Eden Haiku: Pheeew, thanks.
Bleu Oleander: the theater is a teaching/learning theater
Eden Haiku: Was wondering Bleu, the mask of the character. it is from some art I suppose?
Bleu Oleander: we're stubbling through it together :)
    Bleu Oleander: stumbling
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eden Haiku: Ah, was taking note of a new verb ;-))
    Bleu Oleander: yes Eden
    Bleu Oleander: a sculpture
    Eden Haiku: oh?
    Eden Haiku: Yours?
Bleu Oleander: no a friend of mines
Bleu Oleander: inspired by his work
Eden Haiku: Impressive look this Self something ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: how wonderful.... overlapping influences
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Bleu Oleander: its one of my alts ... Self Wonder
Bleu Oleander: he's come to PaB before
Bleu Oleander: for the Art of Being project
Eliza Madrigal: you seem to have a tiny crew of alts, Bleu
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: "Team Bleu"
Bleu Oleander: "crew of alts" yes, funny

Eden Haiku: Ah, yes thought so...Hope I will still be awake at 7pm SLT, I woke up at 4h30 this morning...
Eliza Madrigal: goodness Eden... woke inspired ?
Eden Haiku: "team Bleu" like in the dancing grouyp you created in one of the Art of Being projects...

Eliza Madrigal: maybe a nap is in order. News this week is that 90 minutes is more effective than the 20 minute power nap we've been sold

Eliza Madrigal: Bye Ewan, nice to see you this morning
Bleu Oleander: yes ... will have to do a group for Self hehe
    Bleu Oleander: bye Ewan
Eden Haiku: Aftermath of family gathering here yesterday Eliza. It went real well.
Eden Haiku: But then it brings up things...
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, yes I see
Eliza Madrigal: as in retreats.... so lovely but also times of letting various things come up and sort themselves
Eden Haiku: Woke up anxious, lighted a fire in the fire place.
Eden Haiku: Wrote down some shadows still lurking in my soul
Eden Haiku: Burnt the papers in the fire
    Eliza Madrigal: ahhh
Eden Haiku: meditated lying down by the fire
Eden Haiku: Holding a smooth stone I found between Kheops and Khepren on May 26th
Bleu Oleander: nice, but I can't imagine having a fire here today
Eliza Madrigal: so glad you were attentive Eden

Eden Haiku: Then started writing "Lila"...
Bleu Oleander: can't wait to hear "Lila"
Eliza Madrigal: so look forward to reading this
Eliza Madrigal: ah yes 'hearing' this

Eden Haiku: Yes, the weather went from 27 to something like 15 in a few hours here ;-)
Bleu Oleander: we had 113 yesterday
    Eliza Madrigal: ack
Eden Haiku: Hearing it through your voice Eliza.
    Bleu Oleander: a bit toasty
    Eden Haiku: 113 ouch Bleu!!!!
Eliza Madrigal: ::practices her toasty voice:::::
Eden Haiku: And maybe have Bleu create visuals for it hehe...

    Poetry...

Bleu Oleander: did you read the piece I sent to the group on poetry Eden?

Eliza Madrigal: Hello Mondo, welcome to Play as Being!
    MondoFnordo Resident: helo
Eden Haiku: Lila is a fierce goddess like our friend Lila Darkmatter :-)
Eliza Madrigal: wow.... what a wonderful animation!
    Bleu Oleander: hi Mondo
    Eden Haiku: And a storyteller...
Eden Haiku: Yes, I did Bleu.
Eden Haiku: In the New York Times, yes...
Eliza Madrigal: Lila is feeling conjured :)
Eden Haiku: It was about disccussing what poetry is...
Bleu Oleander: what did you think?

Mondo gave permission to be recorded, in IM...

Eliza Madrigal: Mondo, I'll introduce you to the group in IM
Eden Haiku: Well, I find it difficult to discuss what poetry is. And maybe besides the point.
    Eden Haiku: hello Mondo ;-)
Eden Haiku: I read it rather quickly, was preparing the party... Will read it again more careful Bleu.

    --BELL--

Eden Haiku: What did you think about it yourself?
    Bleu Oleander:
    http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/07/31/beyond-translation/?ref=opinion&nl=opinion&emc=tya1
Bleu Oleander: repetition is the best we can hope to achieve in interpreting poetry
    Bleu Oleander: about paraphrase
Bleu Oleander: can poetry be paraphrased?
Bleu Oleander: about their own articulations, this would explain why they can resist paraphrase
    Eden Haiku: Thanks Bleu;-)
Eden Haiku: Was away reviving the dragon in the fire place ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: reviving the dragon :)))

Eden Haiku: Yes, it reminded me Tolstoi answering about telling what was Anna Karenine about that the novel itself was the answer, ;-))
Eliza Madrigal: say more? I love that book
    Bleu Oleander: exactly Eden

Bleu Oleander: is that how you feel about your own poetry?
Eden Haiku: I taught poetry for years in college
Eden Haiku: I rememeber one day we were reading Rimbaud, taking turns.
Eden Haiku: A "Season in Hell'"
Bleu Oleander: would you ever do a poetry workshop here?
    Eden Haiku: Magnificent poetry
Bleu Oleander: I would sign up
Bleu Oleander: it could lead up to our next Art of Being project perhaps
Eden Haiku: With lines like: " I could clearly see a mosk where a factory stood". (yes, poetry workshop sure...)
Benevolent String: hello. am I interrupting?

Eliza Madrigal: (Mondo gave a mini-poem in IM a moment ago, that I could record both his words and silence) :)

Eliza Madrigal: Hi Benevolent, what an interesting name! Welcome to Play as Being
Eden Haiku: oh, nice :_) hello Benevolent ;-)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Benevolent

Eden Haiku: So we were reading this beautiful poetry in prose
    Benevolent String: ah
Eden Haiku: And then a student gets angry saying that was crap
    Eden Haiku: Rimbaud, crap?
    Eden Haiku: really?
    Benevolent String: in rl?

Eliza Madrigal: I'll introduce you to the group in IM, Benevolent... we've been discussing so many things today.... creativity, poetry, overlapping rhythms and hm...well, impossible to encapsulate

Eden Haiku: yes, in RL benevolent
Eden Haiku: Good job though Eliza. And thresholds ;-)))
Eden Haiku: Was saying that in comment to the article Bleu,
druth Vlodovic: why did he think it was crap?
Eden Haiku: Discussing poetry, what it means is always risky.
    Bleu Oleander: yes, ok
Bleu Oleander: same with discussing visual art

Eden Haiku: Would I have let the student get away with it, he might have convinced the whole class that rimbaud WAS crap, because it,s easier than just let yourself be transformed by his visions.

Bleu Oleander: but perhaps more so with poetry ... words describing words
Eden Haiku: Yes, in visual arts it must be the same, very often yes.
milakel Resident: eh, busy here :/
milakel Resident: *waves and back to rl*
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Bye Mila

Eden Haiku: My method was never describing it but using poetry as a jumping board into new worlds of understanding, new realities.

    Bleu Oleander: waves :)
    Eden Haiku: Bye mila ;-))
    Bleu Oleander: ah nice Eden
    Eliza Madrigal: Jumping board, yes...
    Eliza Madrigal: 'taste and see'
Eden Haiku: Druth, answering you late sorry. Student thought Rimbaud was crap because it was uncomfortable for him, unfamiliar.
Bleu Oleander: its a defensive posture probably
Eliza Madrigal: contemplative arts .... disturbing images or poems can show us where our hang-ups are... make us ask deeper questions
    Eden Haiku: Defensive yes ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: where do we shut down, etc... and maybe, 'why'
Eliza Madrigal: though maybe that's not as important
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: I was reading Tagore yesterday... a line that said 'leave the gaps in your life where you find them' or some such
    Benevolent String: questioning assumptions
Eden Haiku: I always let a lot of freedom to the students, never imposing meanings or interpretations. he disliked that very much.
Eliza Madrigal: ah, yes very much so Benevolent
Eden Haiku: Tresholds, gaps, breaking points,...

    --BELL--

Benevolent String: part of knowing yourself is finding your limitations
    Bleu Oleander: limitations?? hehe
Benevolent String: we all have them
Benevolent String: I have too many
Eliza Madrigal: indeed, and finding limitations in interactions w/ others, or gaps (time gaps included) is interesting territory as well
Bleu Oleander: i must be off ... speaking of limitations ... take care all
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Bleu! Hope to see you tonight
Eden Haiku: Limitations are sometimes just in our minds, But we certainly need boundaries ;-))
    Bleu Oleander: bye for now
    Benevolent String: bye
    Eden Haiku: Bye Bleu!!!!

Eliza Madrigal: well limitations make for the pleasures of diversity
Eliza Madrigal: we can share different things with different friends
    Eliza Madrigal: in various ranges
Eliza Madrigal: like the delight in finding someone read and loved the same book, or same song
    Eden Haiku: yes!
Benevolent String: delight is better with sharing
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm, yes
Eden Haiku: Considering a 90 minutes nap sometimes today...;-)))
    Eliza Madrigal: hah
druth Vlodovic: well, on the assumption that everyone is entitled to my opinion, I can see why people might not like him, "memory" was nice though
    Eden Haiku: Power nap ...
Eden Haiku: What do you mean Druth?
Eliza Madrigal: we can even appreciate someone else not appreciating something we like, hah

Benevolent String: I have a question on a completely different subject.
    Eliza Madrigal: sure, please ask
Eden Haiku: Werll, when you are the leader of the class, you cannot let that kind of bullying against poetry happen.
Eden Haiku: You have to stand a firm ground.

Benevolent String: Does anyone know of a build in sl of a famous but destroyed building?
druth Vlodovic: I was reading a couple of his poems online, some have nasty imagery, but I suppose a complete life can't hide from itself
Eliza Madrigal: interesting question... Bleu would have been one to ask...
Benevolent String: Perhaps I can catch her next time.
    Eliza Madrigal: yes... thinking....
    druth Vlodovic: which building?
Eden Haiku: I'm sure thare are many things we don't share Druth, like taste in poetry. It is perfectly fine for you not to like Rimbaud, I absolutely do not care.
Benevolent String: any building. Like the twin towers (couldn't find one) or the Murrah Federal building, or penn station.
Eden Haiku: Or Adams wouyld know about that kind of things Benevolent.
Eliza Madrigal: I think what I hear is that any complete work would have both pleasant and unpleasant aspects...
Benevolent String: Yes, I came to look at the museum....
    Eliza Madrigal: shadow and light
Eden Haiku: She's an art historian. Usually hosting the 7am SLT sessions on Sundays but not for the next few weeks. Her daughter is getting married ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: and some, even very talented or loving characters, have sides that can be shocking... building capacity to deal with that is tricky
druth Vlodovic: eh, I have many opinions, I hold none of them, the english translations I was reading are evocative, if you read a dark or gross one then you will have corresponding feelings, which I suppose makes him a good poet, by definition
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm
Eliza Madrigal: I have to apologize... just seeing the time...
Eliza Madrigal: should have ducked out a bit ago :)
    Benevolent String: good bye Eliza
druth Vlodovic: bye eliza, have fun
Eden Haiku: Yes El;iza. Thank you very much for this beautiful session ;-) Will be signing off too...
Eliza Madrigal: Lovely to make your acquaintance Benevolent, and always nice to see you Eden, Druth, and (away) Mila
    Benevolent String: me too
    Eden Haiku: Bye evryone!
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye for now!
