Santoshima Resident: that in itself is having an effect on how I'm relating to RL people

Eos Amaterasu: I think part of what happens is that your experience of yourself in SL leads to more questioning of yourself in RL

Xandy Flanagan: I've never had that sense of transferrence other people seem to have, where they really seem to inhabit their avis
Santoshima Resident: more like, firstly affecting some aspect of visual field in RL
Xandy Flanagan: for me I'm at my desk, and I'm looking at a screen
Eos Amaterasu: when you do 90 seconds here in SL, your avatar is still, and it wormhole to your RL being still

Santoshima Resident: spend a fiar deal of time with fixed gaze on that
Eos Amaterasu: your reflection of yourself in the mirror is due to your eyes
Santoshima Resident: understood
Xandy Flanagan: 2nd life is kind of like being hellen keller, you can communicate, but it has this flatness, and while the people are there you have to work harder at making them people, instead of pixels. it's harder to give them their humanity. too detached really but it's better than nothing
Eos Amaterasu: the little glimpses and contacts one does get are awesome
