That night, for the first 22 minutes I, Pema, found myself alone at the pavilion. Then Rowan arrived, and we had a brief chat, before I had to leave.

    Pema Pera: Hi Rowan!
    Rowan Masala smiles
Pema Pera: Good seeing you again here!
    Rowan Masala: Hi Pema
Rowan Masala: things are rezzing--are you alone here?
Pema Pera: Yes, just me :)
Pema Pera: And I'll have to leave in about five minutes
Rowan Masala: well, no need to stay for just me
Pema Pera: well, it's my slot, from 1 am to 1:30 am SLT
    Rowan Masala nods
Pema Pera: which means 4 to 4:30 am where I am, East Coast
    Rowan Masala: me too
Pema Pera: I'll get a few more hours sleep after this :-)
Rowan Masala: I hope I will as well :)
Pema Pera: You like staying up late, in general?
Rowan Masala: no, I woke up a little while ago and couldn't go back to sleep
Rowan Masala: We'll have to get some Australians involved so you don't have to do this anymore
Pema Pera: well, nice opportunity to hop into SL then
    Pema Pera: haha, yes
Pema Pera: Europeans would be fine too
Rowan Masala: how did you feel about the meeting in Princeton?
Pema Pera: or any Asians really
Pema Pera: Oh, it was great!
Rowan Masala: yes, if they didn't have to work in the morning
Pema Pera: A whole new experience
    Pema Pera: yes
Rowan Masala: Steven had a good time
Pema Pera: Glad to hear that
Rowan Masala: are things going, in general, where you'd hoped?
Pema Pera: I've had very little specific hope or expectations, it has really been a very open-ended advenure from the beginning
Pema Pera: but yes, I'm pleased with where we've gone so far
    Rowan Masala: good to hear
Pema Pera: and I'm very curious to see where we'll be going further
Pema Pera: it's like a meandering river, something new every day and week!
    Rowan Masala smiles
    Pema Pera: how about you?
Rowan Masala: well, I hope you're able to go back to sleep, and that it's a peaceful sleep
Pema Pera: thank you, and I hope the same for you!
Pema Pera: thanks for stopping by
Pema Pera: and looking forward to seeing you soon again
    Rowan Masala nods
