Adelene Dawner: I think my guess was right, Three, about that reorg... this level of wanting to actually RLwise be around people is definitely new.

Adelene Dawner: Well, on top of the normal variation in day to day brain function, every once in a while my brain seems to decide to try something completely different. I'm still me, after a change like that, but many of the signifigant details change.

Adelene Dawner: I'm not even entirely sure there was one, at this point. They're not always obvious. But there have been some signifigant variations in social stuff in the last few days.

Adelene Dawner: Hard to pinpoint, this time.

Adelene Dawner: mmhmm
Threedee Shepherd: Ade, from our conversations lately, it seems you may be noticing people's behaviors more than usual
Adelene Dawner nods. "And, there's some small amount of evidence that a new body-language datastream is reaching consciousness. Poorly integrated as yet, but it seems to be there."

Adelene Dawner: I actually project fairly normal - or at least, accurate - body language, though I've never had any conscious control over it like most people seem to. But what I'm talking about is interpreting, which I've generally been functionally unable to do.

Corvuscorva Nightfire: you've told me that you can do it if you are not processing other stuff?
Adelene Dawner: mmhmm. Hence 'functionally'. It's generally more important to be able to parse what someone's saying than it is to be able to read their body language.

Adelene Dawner: I seem to be, Corvi, but I'm not 100% sure at this point.

Adelene Dawner: The types of things I look for when I'm processing just that... breathing, movement patterns, gaze... I'm not consciously aware of them when I'm parsing speech, even now. But the body language processing *seems* to be going on subconsciously, which it wasn't before... at least, if my guess is right.
Adelene Dawner: The part that's uncertain is... that subconscious processing has never happened before. The brainbit that does that - if there is one - is not something I'm used to hearing from. So I'm not sure yet if I'm actually hearing what I think I'm hearing, or if something else is going on - I don't have enough data to know, yet.

Adelene Dawner: It's not a big deal, and it's not random, either. The tirgger here is kind of obvious, and it's also not really surprising that, if social stuff was going to change, it'd change in this direction. *purrr* ^.^
