Yakuzza Lethecus: ah erstmal nur bert :)
    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: mein radar hatte sophia angezeigt aber ich hatte nicht auf die 83 meter geachtet
    Bertram Jacobus: heyy agatha ! ... :-)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey agatha
Bertram Jacobus: war alles schon klar yaku *fg* ;o)
    Agatha Macbeth: grins
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Yaku :)
Agatha Macbeth: I see a Neko approaching
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi SSL :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey ssl
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hello hello =^.^=
    Yakuzza Lethecus: and qt
Bertram Jacobus: hi sophia and qt ... :-)
    Agatha Macbeth: Buona sera QT
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi everyone :0
Qt Core: hi all, 'sera Agatha
Agatha Macbeth: Oh, she's gone already :(
    Agatha Macbeth: Back!
Bertram Jacobus: agatha seems to have a HUGHE wardrobe ...
    Bertram Jacobus: ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, it's called an inventory :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, very nice ;)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: heheh
Agatha Macbeth: Wish I had one in RL too
Qt Core: thinking about sl inventory i think the only two avatar permitted here should be Rta Beta or DOraemon ;-)
    Qt Core: Eta
    Agatha Macbeth: ????
Bertram Jacobus: i agree with agatha ;o)
Bertram Jacobus: (with her question marks) ;-)
SophiaSharon Larnia: maybe cut down on the lag QT? (not familiar with those, just Ruth and whatever the boy avi is named)
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, Ruth
    Qt Core: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eta_Beta
    Bertram Jacobus: oh. ty. *click*
    Qt Core: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doraemon
    SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs!!'
Agatha Macbeth: I think Eeva Beeva sounds better
    SophiaSharon Larnia: giggles
Bertram Jacobus: hm. i think, they should be allowed , TOO (!) :o)
    Agatha Macbeth: Just me, maybe
Qt Core: basically one from his pockets and hoe from his pocket on his belly can obtain everithing thei wish/need
Agatha Macbeth: He has a hoe in his pocket ?!
    Qt Core: hoe = one
    Agatha Macbeth: Oooh
SophiaSharon Larnia: ahh makes some sense now
    Agatha Macbeth: It does?
Qt Core: just logged in hands and english still cold
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Take my advice QT, stick with Star Trek
SophiaSharon Larnia: 2 avi's put on and off as mood suits, but still would miss freedom of expression dearly
    Yakuzza Lethecus: talking of inventory´s
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inspector_Gadget
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :P
    Agatha Macbeth: I remember that!
    Bertram Jacobus: :o)
SophiaSharon Larnia: have been absolutely fascinated the last few days with something Storm posted in a chat log one night... it is rocking my world!
Agatha Macbeth: It was on telly years ago
Bertram Jacobus: what is it sophia !?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: http://www.newscientist.com/article/...html?full=true
    Agatha Macbeth: What's that Soph?
Qt Core: tell, i lost many session (and logs)
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah yes...
Agatha Macbeth: We were talking about this on Tuesday
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yess ooooh brb
    Mickorod Renard: hi
    Bertram Jacobus: heyy mick ! ... :-))
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes I've heard of it before, and maybe files it away as something to think about later
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Evening Mick :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey mick :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Mick
SophiaSharon Larnia: at first it made me kind of ill to think of it
    SophiaSharon Larnia: physcally
    Agatha Macbeth: Pretty weird huh?
    Mickorod Renard: watz that?
Bertram Jacobus: i would need one hour or more to translate the article i guess, into german ... sadly, because - seems to be intersting - perhaps i´ll do it ...
SophiaSharon Larnia: have you ever heard of holographic universe?
    Mickorod Renard: yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes i think you were in that chat
SophiaSharon Larnia: i cant get enough of the idea
    Mickorod Renard: its pretty wierd
Qt Core: i've read something in past years about it
Agatha Macbeth: Yeah, we were talking about it with Storm a couple of nights ago
    Agatha Macbeth: Freaky
Mickorod Renard: I dont think its as spooky as it seems
SophiaSharon Larnia: if the world of matter is a hologram, what is the film, what is the light?
    --BELL--
SophiaSharon Larnia: who am i talking to and with???
Agatha Macbeth: A bunch of crazy avatars ;-)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :))
Qt Core: and who/what are you that are talking ?
SophiaSharon Larnia: when i leave a room and no one is in it, does it return to some interference pattern until i return again?
    Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
SophiaSharon Larnia: and what amkes everyhting same in the same place as i left it
Bertram Jacobus: some we don´t know ...
SophiaSharon Larnia: why isnt the sky on the grass, and the grass my house
Mickorod Renard: better to accept it as how you always have,,until a better expaination is available
SophiaSharon Larnia: (ok nw too far, but you get the idea)
Qt Core: we may be an hologram but it is not random
    SophiaSharon Larnia: no?
Qt Core: like the hologram in credit cards example in the article, every time you light them you get the same images, not a different one each time
Mickorod Renard: the whole idea of a holographic universe is just a concept,,and it works in practice to explain some effects like gravity too,,but no one really has a good grasp of it yet
    Bertram Jacobus: hello liza :-)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: heyliza
    Liza Deischer: hi everyone
SophiaSharon Larnia: i felt earthquakes when i thought about it, my first instinct was to hold onto something, but there's nothing to hold onto
Qt Core: brb (and even then intermittently)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Liza
    Agatha Macbeth: Liza!
Agatha Macbeth: Don't over react Soph :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles
    SophiaSharon Larnia: I'm serious
    Agatha Macbeth: Me too!
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Liza
SophiaSharon Larnia: Eliza wrote a very interesting addition to here guardian controbutions today
    SophiaSharon Larnia: her*
Agatha Macbeth: It's a 'grip on reality' thing
SophiaSharon Larnia: in she speaks of feeling the cold seperate from the wind etc
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh?
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
SophiaSharon Larnia: so took a very long walk today with the holographic universe idea and this other concept in mind
SophiaSharon Larnia: grip on what Agatha :) the reality were I have to leave the house at 6 pm to pick up a friend from work? :)
    Agatha Macbeth: That's reality ;=)
    Agatha Macbeth: Ennui
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles
Liza Deischer: i just jump in, but what do you mean sophia?
SophiaSharon Larnia: sorry Liza :) Ive been fascinated with the idea of a holographic universe, more specifically, the idea of the world being an illusion being seen by science
    Liza Deischer: oh okay
Liza Deischer: but what happened on that walk?
Liza Deischer: not but, but 'and'
Qt Core: maybe i got it now what you were saying before sophia... if we are an hologram, an image ... the source of this image is a living thing has it intelligence coscience ?
Qt Core: of it is only us being alive and (somewhat) intelligent ?
SophiaSharon Larnia: I noticed that the sensations can be seperated, i also noticed that i was catorgorizing those sensations
Qt Core: or am i nowe startrekking too much ?
    Agatha Macbeth: No QT, never
SophiaSharon Larnia: QT! I havent got that far in my own introspection, but I've read that idea lately, creationist taking the idea as proof of a supreme creator
SophiaSharon Larnia: which could be being :) rather than asomething personified
Agatha Macbeth: Creationists will take any idea as proof :)
    --BELL--
Mickorod Renard: have a look on the work of Erik Verlinde,,hes dutch I believe,,he knows about Holographicc stuff and the universe
Liza Deischer: sounds as a Dutch name :-)
    Mickorod Renard: hI eLIZA
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Eliza :)
    Liza Deischer: hi Eliza
    Agatha Macbeth: Eliza :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi! :)
Qt Core: i don't know what is wrong with god just "inventing" the phisical laws and letting them go, wouldn't it be great in itself instead of creating each accidents in iotself (quite inefficient i may say)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey eliza
SophiaSharon Larnia: sorry Eliza I mentioned you name a min ago, in reference to your guardian contribution, it was great!!! I took a long walk today with it in mind
Bertram Jacobus: hello eiza ... :-)
    Bertram Jacobus: eliza* sry
Eliza Madrigal: Hi all (hope no one has been IMing me, as IMs were capped)
    Qt Core: bnsrb (again)
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, thanks Sharon... you mean the 'one year' addition?
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, speaking of the sensation of cold as seperate from the wind :)
Liza Deischer: your idea QT give more space to human freedom
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, apapb :) Glad you found that inspiring :))
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oh yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: also found it surprising how i constantly labeled these sensation
SophiaSharon Larnia: instead of just experiencing them
Eliza Madrigal nods... noticing that though, you are also noticing space between doing that....
Eliza Madrigal: gets really neat :)
Eliza Madrigal: then I guess more and more sincerely relaxing.. settling in to that space...
Eliza Madrigal: or that's how I'd describe it I guess... Gee, now want to take another walk
    Eliza Madrigal: hah
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles :))
    Liza Deischer: :-)
Bertram Jacobus: your tea doesn´t steam anymore yaku (!) ... :o)
Agatha Macbeth: It's gone cold Bert
Bertram Jacobus: curious - before it was hot for months ! ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: Must be the holographic universe ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: that was my idae ...
    Agatha Macbeth: There you go....
Bertram Jacobus: so i wanted to mention. as an example
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes?
    Bertram Jacobus: yes.
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes what?
Eliza Madrigal: the drops listen for the ocean....
Mickorod Renard: I think if anyone wants a means to find out more about holographic universes etc this link may get u there http://www.wikio.com/themes/Erik+Verlinde
Bertram Jacobus: the tea as an example for the curious happenings in this holographic universe. i wanted to mention, done now. now we could think about it, feel it ...
    Bertram Jacobus: realise it
    Agatha Macbeth: Why not?
SophiaSharon Larnia: thanks Mick, got the dragon by the tail
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Bertram Jacobus: there are so many accesses always
Bertram Jacobus: whether studying and feeling can go together ?
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, i 'felt' it before i understood it (and still don't), not that feelings can be trusted, exactly
Bertram Jacobus: but what is more essential ? feeling or understanding ?
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, you mean bringing in of tangible experience by mere imagining... blurring the lines and becoming flexible with that?
Bertram Jacobus: (if me - yes)
    Bertram Jacobus: and nicely expressed
Mickorod Renard: I guess that makes me wonder whether experiencing something has to actually include understanding it
Mickorod Renard: to understand something must include some imagination
    --BELL--
SophiaSharon Larnia: something in me wants to say no, but am having a hard time finding the words to state the case :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: maybe on some level we already understand it, bringing it into awareness without the cloudy filters and fears
Bertram Jacobus: hellloo storm ... :-)
Eliza Madrigal 'thinks' understanding can come later... that there can be direct experience/resonance ... then the articulating flowing from that?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Storm :)
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Storm
    Storm Nordwind: Hi there all
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Storm! :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Stormy!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: nods at Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Of course that can come when imagining too I guess... I guess it would have to since we're always doing that?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Bertram Jacobus: storms notion that he is always happy, helps me and accompanies me a lot these days ...
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    Liza Deischer: hi Storm
Mickorod Renard: I was thinking'ignorance is bliss' but Storm is definately not ignorant
    Bertram Jacobus: :-)
Storm Nordwind recalls some people thinking otherwise! ;)
    Mickorod Renard: grin
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Mickorod Renard: but life would be simpler if we accepted everything as a gift and never questioned it
Bertram Jacobus: questioning can be fun sometimes
Mickorod Renard: my constant questioning inside my head is a reminder of the degree of noise I suffer from
Eliza Madrigal: Acceptance does seem key in there... maybe accept the questioning too :)
Bertram Jacobus: constantly would be too much for me ;-)
Mickorod Renard: thats why i AM CRAZY
    Mickorod Renard: oops
    Agatha Macbeth: You are?
Eliza Madrigal: then you should be happy, Mick
    Eliza Madrigal: hehhe
    Liza Deischer: :-)
    Agatha Macbeth: He is
Mickorod Renard: maybe I am,,,deep inside
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Agatha Macbeth: That's where it counts ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: i was crazy many years ago and it was no fun
Mickorod Renard: or wherever it is in a holographic universe
Liza Deischer: accepting everything as a gift also means to accept the things we like less
Agatha Macbeth: 'Many years ago' ?
    Bertram Jacobus: yes
Liza Deischer: as all the questions going on
    Agatha Macbeth: Not now?
    Bertram Jacobus: in closed psychiatry
Bertram Jacobus: no. not yet anymore. healed. through meditation.
SophiaSharon Larnia: nods at Liza... remembering this too
    Mickorod Renard: yes Liza,,nice thought
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, that's wonderful Bert :)
Bertram Jacobus: that was and still is an experience which is great. yes eliza. because so meditation proofed itself - very unexpected
    Mickorod Renard: a wonderful Bert
    Bertram Jacobus: a happy one
    Bertram Jacobus: and thankful
Bertram Jacobus: was a hard path
    Liza Deischer: I can imagine
Bertram Jacobus: but now i can differ mad from healthy
Eliza Madrigal nods... makes sense... clarity, discernment...
Mickorod Renard: dont remind me what mad is,,just in case I am still there,,ignorance is bliss
    Bertram Jacobus: yes. experiences
Bertram Jacobus: and meditation. as said. can produce clarity. agree in this point :-)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles, nods
Bertram Jacobus: but mick ! before you said storm were not ignorant ! (?) already forgotten again !? ;o))
Mickorod Renard: is the glarity from a grounding,,from the crazy rush of the day?
    Mickorod Renard: clarity*
Liza Deischer: I would say no, but grounding is still important
Mickorod Renard: away from the rush of the day
    Liza Deischer: it is fundamental
    --BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: Apologies, have to run to a meeting. Interesting discussion, thanks ((poofs quietly))
Agatha Macbeth: Oh well, Tom Waits for no man. Bye all.....
    Mickorod Renard: bye Ag
Bertram Jacobus: i like a phrase from a song very much : "my feet are on the ground, my head is all around" ...
Liza Deischer: clarity starts with looking closer to your experiences
SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Eliza and Agatha
Bertram Jacobus: hello zon ... :-)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Zon
    Mickorod Renard: hi Zon
    Liza Deischer: hi Zon
SophiaSharon Larnia: hmm have to go too :) bye for now all!
    Liza Deischer: bye
    Mickorod Renard: bye SS
    Zon Quar: bye SS
Qt Core: bye sophia, hello zon
    Liza Deischer: same here
    Mickorod Renard: bye Liza
    Qt Core: bye Liza
    Bertram Jacobus: ara ! :-))
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Ara
    Zon Quar: ara hi
    arabella Ella: Hiya everyone!
    Qt Core: hi Ara
arabella Ella: apologies for being so late but i was out and only just got home
Bertram Jacobus: then welcome home ara ! ;-)
    Bertram Jacobus: at
    arabella Ella: thanks Bert
Qt Core: if the night there is good as it was the afternoon here ara i can understand why ;-)
    Bertram Jacobus: ty2
arabella Ella: had a lovely Chinese meal tonite with some good friends
    Mickorod Renard: wow
Qt Core: friends, even better than good weather
arabella Ella: if Maxine were here i would ask her
arabella Ella: why one tends to have so many dreamns when one sleeps after a good meal
arabella Ella: anyone have any clue why this happens?
Mickorod Renard: some dream after a bad one too
arabella Ella: yes often dreams are very confusing on a full tummy
    arabella Ella: :)
Mickorod Renard: I remember being delerious a few times,,after food poisoning and stuff
arabella Ella: strange how digestion and dream mind somehow seem to be linked so closely
    Mickorod Renard: disentry
Qt Core: as some dreams take their hint from phisical situation, like dreaming about being tied when tangled in the covers
    arabella Ella: yes true
Zon Quar: gtg dancing, c u
Qt Core: i suppose a working hard somach may suggest something to the brain
    Mickorod Renard: bye Zon
arabella Ella: but the link between digestion and dreaming seems to be a close link
    Qt Core: have fun zon
    arabella Ella: Enjoy Zon
Mickorod Renard: I guess dancing can be like meditation too
arabella Ella: Hey Qt are you watching San Remo too?
    arabella Ella giggles
    arabella Ella: La Clerici
Storm Nordwind: They used to say eating cheese before bed gave you vivid dreams
    arabella Ella: yes they did
Qt Core: no, just heard something from the room were my sister was
arabella Ella: but seems like a full stomach has more effect on dreams
Qt Core: (heard susan boyle and was shocked by the bad song from Irene Grandi)
arabella Ella: its funny Qt but i cant resist San Remo
Mickorod Renard: well,,starvation can bring on dreams too
    arabella Ella: ah
arabella Ella: i missed Susan Boyle
arabella Ella: but saw Raina yesterday
arabella Ella: and Rodriguez the Avatar lady
Mickorod Renard: also starvation can indude sleep paralysis
Qt Core: ehm .... whi is Raina ?
arabella Ella: and the Moulin Rouge stuff ... enough said there :)
arabella Ella: Raina La Regina di Giordania ... the Queen of Jordan ... yesterday
    Qt Core: ohh
Mickorod Renard: I hope Susan Boyle didnt do the moulin rouge
Qt Core: for people wondering about the topic between me and ara: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanremo_Music_Festival
arabella Ella: for those of you who dont know San Remo is the Italian version of Eurovision Song Contest but purely Italian and now 60 years old
arabella Ella smiles ... thanks Qt
    Qt Core: :-)
    Mickorod Renard: thankyou
arabella Ella: and the name comes from the town San Remo where it is held
Mickorod Renard: I used to go there on holiday as a child
    arabella Ella: yes?
    arabella Ella: cool Mick
Qt Core: and it is one of the biggest things in tv all year round, like olimpics and world cup
arabella Ella: the Italians really splash out on San Remo
arabella Ella: and it reminds me of when i was younger
arabella Ella: when we used to watch it as an extended family grandparents and all
arabella Ella: i must admit though the Italians have always been very good at music
    --BELL--
Qt Core: sadly i'm not one of them ;-)
Qt Core: love music but music hates me
Bertram Jacobus: i think, i´ll return to pandora to find a (even) more nicer skin ...
arabella Ella: Hey Qt they even had Prince Filiberto participating as a singer with Pupo this year but he was eliminated ... so far at least
    arabella Ella: music hates you?
Bertram Jacobus: may all beings be happy please ! ...
arabella Ella: that sounds so cool Bertram
arabella Ella: is there Pandora on SL too?
    Bertram Jacobus: yess ! :-))
Mickorod Renard: thankyou Bert,,and you go well too
Qt Core: are you going to be a real Smurfs 2.0 bert ?
    Storm Nordwind waves
    Bertram Jacobus: smurfs 2.0 ? don´t know that (?) sry ... ;-)
Qt Core: i can't play anything
arabella Ella: Hey Qt no comparison ... I love Navi, never had an affinity with smurfs though :)
    arabella Ella: neither can i
arabella Ella: but it is nice to listen to others sometimes
Qt Core: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smurfs seeing their ties with nature it seem that na'vi are smurfs evolved, so 2,0 :-)
Mickorod Renard: would like to hear Storm play one day
    arabella Ella smiles
arabella Ella: we all play here though dont we ... we play as Being
Storm Nordwind clashes the small cymbal for ara
arabella Ella: that is so cool Storm ... besides cymbals what else do you 'play'?
Storm Nordwind: Guitar mostly. And keyboard.
Qt Core: sometimes i feel sad as the italians has no verb like the english to play and the french jouer
    arabella Ella: giocare?
Qt Core: that is we have several verbs for the different meanings of play
    arabella Ella: gioco?
Qt Core: si, ara, ma non si gioca una chitarra, la si suona... etc etc
arabella Ella: ah yes you are right there of course Qt
Mickorod Renard: I must go home now
    arabella Ella: nite Mick
Mickorod Renard: have a good day
    Storm Nordwind: Bye Mick
    Mickorod Renard: byeeeee
    Qt Core: bye mick
arabella Ella: oh no Qt Nilla Pizzi is on San Remo now ... really old poor Nilla
Qt Core: yes, she should be singhing her Grazie dei Fior with carmen consoli as a celebration of the first winning song 60 years ago
arabella Ella: ah ... so that is the song Carmen just sang
    arabella Ella: ah ... lovely
arabella Ella: vola colomba ... wow ... a real golden oldie in Italy
arabella Ella: fraid i must go now bye all ... notte!
    Storm Nordwind waves
Qt Core: in past years i've read on italian wikipedia the pages of all sanremo editions a d searched the videos on youtube
Qt Core: (found most of it)
Storm Nordwind: I must go jump in the tub before driving out in the mountain weather
Qt Core: have... ehm fun ?
Storm Nordwind: hehe - yes perhaps...
Storm Nordwind: whiteness falls again / a little dusting of snow / three or four inches http://apcd.state.co.us/live_image/chpark.jpg
Qt Core: december inches of snow made me spend 9 hours for my daily 19 km commute
    --BELL--
Storm Nordwind: Oh! well, we're kind of used to it here. There's a plough on every block
Qt Core: ok, i'm goiung to
    Qt Core: too
    Storm Nordwind: Namaste
Qt Core: bye storm, bye Yaku
