The Guardian for this meeting was Eliza Madrigal. The comments are by Eliza Madrigal, joined by Bleu, Yakuzza, SophiaSharon, Eos, Paradise, Eden, Lucinda, Zen, and Wol. :)

Alternate titles for this full and remarkable session included "Depends on How You're Wired", "Being Billie Holiday", "World Wide Web for Wol", "My Cat is My Guru", "We Give Reasons Later", "Before We Start Running Scripts", "I rarely think but I make lots of decisions", and "To Decide or Not to Decide, That is the Question."

It all starts simply enough, with questions and comments about the new SL viewer...

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi yakuzza :))
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: How is your day going?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey eos,bleu,ssl
Eliza Madrigal: Eos! A nice surprise to see you at a morning session :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hey, Bleu! :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi everyone
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sharon!
    Eos Amaterasu: Hi gang!
    Eliza Madrigal: Wow, Nice....
    Eliza Madrigal: And WOL!?!?!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: morning everyone :))
    Eliza Madrigal: Morning :)))
    Wol Euler: hello everyone
Eos Amaterasu: It's "Good Friday" here, a day off, so I can join in :-)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah.... that's true....
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, same here :)
    Wol Euler: same here.
    Wol Euler: four days off!!!!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yay :)
Eliza Madrigal: I should know this... the kids have been out of school all week, and I've been sleeping late :)
    Wol Euler: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Still, great to see everyone
Bleu Oleander: feels more like a 1pm group
Eliza Madrigal: Sharon is still partying... early morning champagne....
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes its great :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eos Amaterasu: Sorry I missed the party yesterday!
Eliza Madrigal: Well, you are here now!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: I've been enjoying reading reflections... like yours last night Bleu (read the log) :)
    Bleu Oleander: hi Eden
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi eden
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Eden! :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: HI Eden
Bleu Oleander: yes, it was a nice session
    Wol Euler: hello eden
Bleu Oleander: it's a good time to reflect
    Eden Haiku: HI everyone:)
Eliza Madrigal: Eden, I hope SL is kinder to you today
Eden Haiku: There was a bug. I had to repair the hard disk. And now I'm using the new viewer!
    Eliza Madrigal: Ooh!
Eliza Madrigal: Well, glad you figured it out
    Wol Euler cheers

We notice that Eos is appearing differently these days, and Eden shares a decisive moment...

Eos Amaterasu: The beta viewer destroyed my body; I'm not really myself any more
Eden Haiku: And cancelled my trip to Paris a few minutes ago ;)))
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oooh
    Bleu Oleander: oh no
Wol Euler: oh wow, you aren't ;/
Eliza Madrigal: Eos, and you can't figure out why?
Eliza Madrigal: Eden... ah.... sorry to hear that
Wol Euler: get on the SL website, log in, and submit a ticket to get yourself restored from a backup.
Eos Amaterasu: I thought I had save my last outfit, but apparently not. Oh well, heh heh
Bleu Oleander: a new you perhaps?
Eden Haiku: Well, it is better. Been talking with my boyfriend who is already in Paris (he is a poet too) and he says it won't create any problem. He knows the people who were inviting me. And I really have to settle after my trip to India.
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I see. It is that you feel not quite ready for the trip..
Eliza Madrigal: and want to stay with the cat? :)
Eden Haiku: Yes, And now I feel I am on vacation. Yippie!:)))
    Wol Euler: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Yay! :)
Wol Euler: proving that it's a state of mind, not a place.
    Eliza Madrigal: Absolutely
    Bleu Oleander: cheers!
Eden Haiku: Yes, I think the cat made the decision. Be decisive, be a cat!:)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Wol Euler: cats are very good at "I WANT"
Eden Haiku: They know already: know what is.
Eliza Madrigal: My cat is very good at climbinging onto papers I'm working with....
    Bleu Oleander: dogs are too!
Eden Haiku: And they see clearly: even in the dark.
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Wol Euler: :)
Bleu Oleander: my puppy is chewing on me as we speak

We fall into discussing the theme "Be decisive, Know what is, See clearly"

    http://playasbeing.wik.is/Chat_Logs/2010/03/2010.03.30_19:00_-_Be_Decisive_Know_What_Is_See_Clearly

Eliza Madrigal: Eden and I have been very affected by Eos's session I think....
Eden Haiku: The one that wakes you up at 5 hey? Again this morning?
    Bleu Oleander: yes!!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    --BELL--
    Eden Haiku: Oh...
Eden Haiku: Yes, this Be decisive, know what is, see clearly is very inspiring. The new viewer 's chat window a little less..
    Wol Euler: hello zen
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey zen
    SophiaSharon Larnia: HI Zen
Wol Euler: the new viewer is a washout IMHO
    Zen Arado: Hi All
    Eden Haiku: Hello Zen.
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Zen :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes its awful
    Bleu Oleander: hi Zen
Eliza Madrigal: Wol, I do love that you can copy/paste from the bar... and the scope is a bit wider...
Wol Euler: built to improve the first-ten-minutes experience of newborns, but crappy for everyone else
Bleu Oleander: what are the main problems with the new viewer?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: navigation :)
    Wol Euler: yep
    Eden Haiku: No wheels.
Wol Euler: buttons are missing, information is missing
Eliza Madrigal: the pop outs take lots of room, too
    Eden Haiku: Lots of room.
Wol Euler: the camera controls dialog is FOUR TIMES larger and functionally inferior
Bleu Oleander: wow, makes me want to change to it right away! hehe
Zen Arado: the chat window is too small to contain much dialogue
Eden Haiku: I went back to viewer one and it crashed again, so I came back to the new one...
Wol Euler: the "v2.0" app I switch to will be named "Emerald" :)
Zen Arado: you can copy paste with Emerald
Eden Haiku: And it is confusing to see all the pictures instad of just the names.
Eliza Madrigal: yes, everyone keeps suggesting emerald so I guess that's the one....
Bleu Oleander: is Emerald the best viewer for sl?
Wol Euler: IMHO yes, but I haven't tried snowglobe which also has its supporters
Eden Haiku: Emerald, is it easy to download?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: lemme get the URL
    Wol Euler: http://modularsystems.sl/downloads.html
Eliza Madrigal: I've hesitated (not very decisive of me) to use emerald... not techie and it isn't the 'mainstream'....
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks, Wol
    Eden Haiku: Thank you Wol.
Wol Euler: oh but it naerly is. The viewer is nearly identical with the "old" SL viewer, just a few added features
Wol Euler: it uses the same opensource code base
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, okay... maybe a project for this weekend then :)

Eden brings tech into decisiveness, and Sharon's comment gets wheels turning...

Eden Haiku: Technology is a good field to be decisive into :)
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
Eos Amaterasu: Sometimes you decisively step over the edge
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Eden Haiku: ;)
SophiaSharon Larnia: deciding is the hardest step
    Eden Haiku: Or the easiest?
Eos Amaterasu: maybe letting go of result
SophiaSharon Larnia: depends on how you're wired?

Eos Amaterasu: and then it's easier to be choiceless
Eos Amaterasu: we are wired in different ways
Eden Haiku: It feels a bit like jumping into a stream and learning to swim.
    Eliza Madrigal: Actively choiceless
Eos Amaterasu: that's part of the delight in PaB
    Zen Arado: 100 foot pole
Eos Amaterasu: sky moving in pool

:) Feeling that this topic is pertinent to current circumstances, I try to expose the illusoriness of seeming hinderances...

Eliza Madrigal: there are some decisions I made years ago which I've yet to let play out fully... that's an odd thing
    Eos Amaterasu listens
Zen Arado: you aren't crashing today Eden?
Eliza Madrigal: Just thinking about whether decisiveness is the hardest part....
Eden Haiku: No . Took Apple Care and they helped me repair the disk on the phone. 10 minutes.:)
Eliza Madrigal: or maybe I thought I decided something :)
    Zen Arado: decisions and revisions
    Zen Arado: ok good Eden
Eden Haiku: Sorry, Eliza, I had missed your line about decisions taken a long time ago?
Eliza Madrigal: ... or like some decisions are made, but still appear unmade on the surface...

Eos Amaterasu: staying in that kind of openness that's beyond the everyday concerns, that's decisiveness, that's the everyday practice.... that's hard

Zen Arado: maybe it is bad to decide too far ahead?
    Zen Arado: yes Eos
Zen Arado: decisions seem rigid somehow
    Zen Arado: take away spontaneity
    Zen Arado: flexibility
    Zen Arado: ?
Bleu Oleander: need to make some decisions though
Eden Haiku: Decisions are there to take every step of the way, anyway isn'it?
Eliza Madrigal: Well.... that's the thing... this kind of decisiveness... settleness... as Eos described in the session... is a calm place in which spontaneity is 'freer'?

    --BELL--

Zen Arado: maybe we should only make decisions when we have to for practical things in life
Eliza Madrigal: well we are making decisions all the time whether we are aware of it or not, aren't we?
    Zen Arado: true
Eliza Madrigal: So clarity of awareness seems the thing...
SophiaSharon Larnia: slips away quietly... bye all :)
Eos Amaterasu: Yes, often the decisions come first, or are already there, and we give reasons later
    Zen Arado: bye SS
    Bleu Oleander: bye Sharon
    Eos Amaterasu: Bye Sharon
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Sharon :) Nice to see you

Eden Haiku: The analogy with art is pretty clear I think: when you paint Zen, you take micro-decisions all the time, which color to apply, where on the painting, with which kind of brush and so on, Isn'it ? decisions, decisions, decisions, And then you know when the painting is finished. And you see the result.

Zen Arado: hmmm yes Eden and Eliza
Eos Amaterasu can't resist sharing this image of WU http://www.flickr.com/photos/boydsshufa/3133796006/
Zen Arado: but small decisions don't seem like decisions
    Eden Haiku: Wonderful Eos!
    Eden Haiku: They don't Zen?
    Zen Arado: nice Eos
    Eliza Madrigal: Heh, Great!
Zen Arado: seems a iimit to words here
Eden Haiku: I know what you mean, teasing you :)
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, yes Zen.... know what you mean... its like they are off the page
    Zen Arado: ok :)
Eos Amaterasu: like the notion of words off the page
Zen Arado: really we are always making decisions but the word seems to mean something about something you sre going to stick to from now on?
Eliza Madrigal: Thinking of the flow/creativity state, which stops when one thinks "Am I in the flow... Is this it?"
    Wol Euler nods.
Eos Amaterasu: we were talking about it more as a state of being: be decisive

Bleu Oleander: stick to as long as it is useful

Zen Arado: yes it implies a lot of thinking too?
    Eos Amaterasu: no thinking
Zen Arado: I have been thinking and have reached a decision....
    Bleu Oleander: no thinking??
    Eos Amaterasu: decisiveness gets pregnant
Eden Haiku: I rarely think but I make a lot of decisions :))
Zen Arado: getting too analytic :)

I pull a quote from the session...

Eliza Madrigal: I loved this part.... :

    Eos Amaterasu:

It's good and bad, happy and sad
sunny weather and rainy weather... you let it all happen,
neither pushing away nor pulling it in, and not ignoring it either
    that's a state of being
being like a mountain on which are grasses, and trees, and rocks,
and clouds, and goats, and rain
    but the mountain is there

    Eliza Madrigal giggles @ Eden
    Zen Arado: yes nice Eos
Eden Haiku: Likes the goat especially...:)
    Wol Euler: :)
    Eden Haiku: Many of them.
Eliza Madrigal: Some of the issue in thinking about decisions seems to be taking a linear sense of them.... rather than this kind of picture of cultivation and care...?
Eos Amaterasu: yeah, be the godfather of the situation :-)
    Eden Haiku: ;)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: going with the flow - no decisions there?
    Eden Haiku: Good point Zen..
Eden Haiku: What would you say Eos?
Eos Amaterasu: the flow goes through you, within you and without you :-)

    Calls for clarifying...

Eden Haiku: Once we jumped into the flow then what?
Bleu Oleander: be decisive, but no decisions? not sure i understand what you are saying
Zen Arado: I am going off decision making atm :)
Wol Euler: "you can never jump into the same flow twice" :)
    Eden Haiku: True Wol ;)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Is the mountain caring for the goats and wildlife, making decisions?
    Eliza Madrigal smiles @ Wol...nodding
Eos Amaterasu: Blue, then decision is natural, elemental, not even _your_ choice
Bleu Oleander: so other entities decide for one and one goes with that?
Zen Arado: I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hehehe
    Bleu Oleander: ha!
Zen Arado: yes there's the rub Bleu

I have some questions to ask Eden's cat...

Eden Haiku: A cat makes a decision for you and you feel liberated.;)

    --BELL--

Zen Arado: finish up going along with the decisions of others
Bleu Oleander: (don't think I want my puppy making decisions for me)
Eden Haiku: My cat is my guru.
Eden Haiku: The soul of my soul.
Eden Haiku: A deeper and wiser part of no-self.

Eliza Madrigal: I don't feel I've quite wrapped my normal brain around the idea either, except that it seems to me that from a place of deep settling and trust, decisiveness can flow more easily, creatively.... less stuckness and fewer traces that need to be cleaned up...
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, Eden... like daemons in the Dark Materials books... :))
Eden Haiku: Deep settling and trust: i like that.
Eden Haiku: That would be the moutain?
    Eos Amaterasu: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eos Amaterasu: or throw yourself in the lap of mama universe
    Eden Haiku: Panchamama.

Bleu Oleander: that's where we are by default?
Eliza Madrigal: and one is an active part of that... without being the 'Do'er in a foreceful way?
    Eos Amaterasu: coming from Being
Eden Haiku: By default, nice way to put it Bleu!
    Eliza Madrigal: hm! yes
Bleu Oleander: default, before we start running scripts
    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
    Zen Arado: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Being the painting... letting details arise playfully
Zen Arado: but do they arise or do we decide them?
Eliza Madrigal: I think we decide to let them?
Zen Arado: depends where the decision comes from maybe

Eos Amaterasu: we are not separate from their arising, which is why we "practice"

Eden Haiku: Before running our little scripts yes, Even the grand ones,,,d ones..:)
Zen Arado: from being or from rational thought
Bleu Oleander: rational thought is a part of being
    Zen Arado: true Bleu
Eliza Madrigal: Ahhh... there... not separate, yes not even rational thought is separate
    Eos Amaterasu: yes, Bleu, indeed
Zen Arado: maybe I am still thinking of Right brain/left brain activities
Bleu Oleander: right / left is all same brain
    Zen Arado: exactly

We have some fun with Pema, then become Billie Holiday because well, you can do that in SL, and in dreams...

Eos Amaterasu: Being can take the form of an astrophysicist :-)
    Wol Euler: :)
Eliza Madrigal: your alt should help you work with that a bit, Zen :)
Bleu Oleander: (perhaps the highest form of being? hehe)
Eliza Madrigal: hahaha... well pema was wearing a crown yesterday...
    Zen Arado: :)
Bleu Oleander: if the crown fits ....
Eden Haiku: Did someone take a picture of the crowning of our King?
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Zen Arado: being can be a rock guitarist
Eden Haiku: She can be a woman too. Being. :)))
    Eden Haiku: A black woman.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eos Amaterasu: Black Madonna
Eden Haiku: Maybe Billie Holliday is Being.
Eliza Madrigal: Of course Billie is Being
    Eden Haiku: Don,T explainnnnn....
Eos Amaterasu: motorcycle black madonna, two-wheel gypsy queen
    Eden Haiku: ;-)))
    Zen Arado: like it :)
Zen Arado: Jan will be a black woman next time you see her
Zen Arado: way more cool :)
Eliza Madrigal puts on Fael's hairflower whenever she thinks of Billie....
Zen Arado: she was a great artist
Wol Euler: oh, let me give you a lm to a wonderful skins store.
    Zen Arado: sure
    Zen Arado: a female JImi
Zen Arado: maybe we all have roles we would like to have tried in RL
    Zen Arado: ty Wol

Eliza Madrigal: wheels still turning on decisiveness... seems a line between letting Being see/decide... and sometimes noticing when one is abdicating responsibility thinking they are doing that but not really....
Eliza Madrigal: Not a question that can be answered perhaps, but wanted to articulate it :)
    Zen Arado: good point Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Paradise! :)
Zen Arado: think I do that too often
Yakuzza Lethecus: bye for now everyone
Bleu Oleander: seems we make a lot of decisions before we are aware of them
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi paradise
    Zen Arado: Hi Paradise
    Bleu Oleander: bye Yaku
Eliza Madrigal: What a great day... so many able to make it that aren't often :))))
    Wol Euler: hello paradise
Eliza Madrigal: Great session last night, Paradise
    Bleu Oleander: hi Paradise
    --BELL--
    Zen Arado: bye Yaku
Eden Haiku: http://bit.ly/cUOp9E (Link to Don't explain :)
Paradise Tennant: hiya wol .. bleu.. yakuzza ..eliza.. zen .. eos .. eden gtsy everyone :) and bye yakuzza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Indeed, Bleu! Hidden decisions
    Eos Amaterasu: HI Paradise!
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, thanks Eden :))
Eos Amaterasu: This was a great, sparky session... must go, bye all

So many titles generated in this session!

Zen Arado: suggested title for session - playing with decisions :)
    Eden Haiku: Thank you Eos!
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Eos, thank YOU! :D
    Zen Arado: bye Eos
    Eos Amaterasu: Ciao!
    Paradise Tennant: bye eos :)
Wol Euler: bye eos, take care
Eliza Madrigal: I was thinking Billie as Being, Zen... hehe
    Zen Arado: ok :)
Bleu Oleander: decide or not decide ... that is the question
Zen Arado: has a better ring :)
Eliza Madrigal: We'll see... maybe I'll make a nice long title...
Zen Arado: it won't post then :)
    Eliza Madrigal sways
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Bleu Oleander: hey, gtg .... take care everyone :)
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Bleu :)) See you soon
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks
Zen Arado: I had to enter a new month yesterday
Wol Euler: bye bleu, take care
Paradise Tennant: take bleu have a great day :)
    Eden Haiku: Bye Bleu!
    Zen Arado: bye Bleu
Wol Euler: yes, I noticed! you beat me to it zen
Bleu Oleander: enjoy your days off!!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: and it actualy worked !

The prospect of a day off, and we have a visitor...

Paradise Tennant: lovely the prospect of a day off !
Eliza Madrigal: as for log titles, one would think long titles wouldn't work, but paradise has often proven that wrong! :)
    Wol Euler: yeah, really.
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Zen Arado: yes but when you are retired....I hate public hols now
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
Eden Haiku: Just noticing your flower Eliza in your hair, just like Billie.
    Wol Euler: heheh
Eliza Madrigal smiles... yes think I'll change into something wispy today....
Eden Haiku: If i would know how to move my cam I would look at you closely...
    Eliza Madrigal: ::
    Eden Haiku: Letters yes...
Wol Euler: hold down ALT, hold hte mouse key on her, move the mouse slowly upwards
Wol Euler: move left or right to pan around the focus point
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sonia, Welcome to PlayasBeing :)
Eliza Madrigal: Let me give you a note about our group...
    Sonia Tehani: thanks
    Zen Arado: Hi Sonia
    Paradise Tennant: welcome sonia :)
Eliza Madrigal: We generally gather to talk about the nature of reality.... four times a day actually :)
    Wol Euler: hello sonia
Sonia Tehani: thank you Paradise, nice to meet you all
Eliza Madrigal: We record our sessions, Do you mind being included?
    Sonia Tehani: hello everybody
    Sonia Tehani: it's ok
    Eliza Madrigal: Great :)
Paradise Tennant: today I believe the discussion was on how decisions get made .. :)

Eliza Madrigal: Also, I wanted to mention to everyone that Maxine and possibly Pema will have a second TSK session on Sunday 1PM SLT...
Paradise Tennant: but I arrived very late ..so I am not sure ..entirely
    Wol Euler: ooooh
Paradise Tennant: wonderful read the log to their last one ..made it really clear
Eliza Madrigal: I'll send a note to the group today
Paradise Tennant: thank you eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: Yes... Maxine has such a way of expressing things....
Zen Arado: have we decided that decision making is good?
Paradise Tennant: yes she really does .. very ..lucid .. and compelling
    Paradise Tennant: smiles at zen
Eliza Madrigal: truly settles one into that restfulness we were describing earlier I think....
Eliza Madrigal: Hehe, Have you Zen?
Zen Arado: no - still undecided
Eliza Madrigal: I've decided that decisions just are
Paradise Tennant: the wu wei approach ?
Zen Arado: but thats an oxymoron
    Zen Arado: I think
    Eliza Madrigal: paradox
    Zen Arado: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Doing by not doing isn't shutting 'off'
Zen Arado: maybe it is the future length of time attached to the decision that is importamt?
Eliza Madrigal: yes the time aspect seems really fascinating to me somehow....
Eden Haiku: Thanks Wol. Welcome Sonia:)
Eliza Madrigal: how much time we let play out, or... hmmm
Zen Arado: should be made on the hoof ?
    Eliza Madrigal: on the hoof?
Eliza Madrigal: hehe, love these expressions
Zen Arado: um....as we go along?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eden gives a window into her life and family, the context of her decision not to go to France next month ...

Eden Haiku: I already see the good effect of my decision to cancel my trip to Paris.
    Eliza Madrigal: Do you Eden?
Eden Haiku: My dad just called.
    Eden Haiku: Crying.
    Eliza Madrigal: Ohhhh
    Paradise Tennant: ouch
Zen Arado: life decisions vs practical decisions
    Eliza Madrigal: (((eden's dad)))
Eden Haiku: He bought some flowers for my Mom.
    Zen Arado: oh
Eden Haiku: Wants me to go to the cemetary with him this afternoon.
    Wol Euler sighs
    Eden Haiku: I said yes.
    Paradise Tennant: smiles :)
    Wol Euler nods.

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: Ah... you bring so much c omfort to him Eden
Eden Haiku: And not I cant i have to this and that and this and that. :)
Zen Arado: is it about your mother Eden?
Eden Haiku: Yes, I think he needs me more than Paris needs me now :)
Paradise Tennant: sends you and your dad a hug ..such a difficult passage .. the loss of a loved one ..
Eden Haiku: And might as well need him more than I need Paris as well.
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
    Zen Arado: April in Paris
Eden Haiku: It will be two years she is gone in May but some days are harder than others for him.
    Zen Arado: ah I see
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Eliza Madrigal: deciding to stay right where we are can sometimes be a leap
Eden Haiku: Spoke on the silence sorry...:))
Eliza Madrigal: not at all Eden.... thank you for sharing with us...
Paradise Tennant: takes a very long time for all the levels of your consciousness to realize they are gone ... can be moments of intense grief much later.. when somehow it breaks through to a final understanding :)
    Eliza Madrigal: good reminders :)
Eden Haiku: Being at the right place at the right time is so important,
Wol Euler reaches across and gives your hand a squeeze.
    Zen Arado: anniversaries so hard
Eden Haiku: Today is Good Friday. She always took him to the offices at church. That must make him nostalgic.;)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh yes definitely.... holidays can stir so much....
Eliza Madrigal: triggering years and years of memories in a single context
Sonia Tehani: holidays are always a difficult moment, i think it could be helpfull staying with friends
Eden Haiku: So I guess and I will get ready now. Thank you all for this beautiful morning session.
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Eden. Namaste'
Zen Arado: yes friends are important at these times

Sonia Tehani: excuse me, it was mine problem i could not read wat eden whas writing?
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh, you couldn't?
    Wol Euler: how odd.
Eliza Madrigal: Yes I read her just fine Sonia
Sonia Tehani: near her name was written mute
    Wol Euler: ah!
    Wol Euler: works as designed.
Wol Euler: you muted her, presumably by accident
    Wol Euler: it works! :)
    Sonia Tehani: oh!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: She's a wonderful read, unmuted...
Eliza Madrigal: and hopes to see you again at PlayasBeing soon :))
Sonia Tehani: that's why i was triyng to understand what you were saying but with difficults
    Sonia Tehani: :-)
    Sonia Tehani: sure i will
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Sonia Tehani: i like places like this
Zen Arado: I don't even know how to do that
    Sonia Tehani: thank you paradise
Eliza Madrigal: What interests you, Sonia?
Paradise Tennant: I just sent you the log sonia hopefullly you will be able to read it now
Sonia Tehani: i follows groups here where i live
Wol Euler: it can easily happen by accident, the command is in the pie menu
    Sonia Tehani: osho groups
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah, thanks Paradise
    Zen Arado: ah I see
Sonia Tehani: and practice meditations and yoga frequently
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, yes Osho island is lovely
Wol Euler: you can un-mute her too, in the View menu is "Unmute"
Sonia Tehani: i'll take i look there too, i'm still young in SL :-)
    Sonia Tehani: thanks wol
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Well, welcome
    Wol Euler: yw
Sonia Tehani: sorry for my english anyway :-)
Eliza Madrigal: I haven't been there in a long while, since I've found PaB so compelling... must admit. Sometimes a friend has dances though
Zen Arado: lots of Buddhists and meditators in this group too
Eliza Madrigal: Your english is just fine, Sonia :) That's part of the joy of SL
    Sonia Tehani: :-)
Paradise Tennant: yes really the wonder of it .. so much cross global communicating !
Eliza Madrigal nods vigorously @ Paradise
Eliza Madrigal: thinking of how many places pab-ers are from.... hm... yes its a whole new language
Eliza Madrigal: 'from Being' as Eos might say ;-)
Zen Arado: guess I better go
Wol Euler: bye zen, take care.
Zen Arado: spending too mch time in SL I think
Paradise Tennant: nice to see you zen .. take care :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Zen :))
    Sonia Tehani: bye zen! :-)
Eliza Madrigal: yesterday was an occasion... allowed :)
    Zen Arado: bye all
    Zen Arado: sure :)
Eliza Madrigal: deicide to be indulgent sometimes...heh
Wol Euler: or just go with the being-here flow
    Eliza Madrigal: MMM yes
    Paradise Tennant: smiles at wol

Lucinda arrives, the topic turns toward dreaming & sharing...

    Paradise Tennant: hiya lucinda :)
    Wol Euler: hello lucinda
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Lucinda, Nice to see you :)
    Lucinda Lavender: hi all
    Sonia Tehani: hi Lucinda
Eliza Madrigal: Sorry to miss you yesterday but the dancefloor and punchbowl are still up at the Square :)
Lucinda Lavender: Ah,,, a busy day in the other life...
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Sonia Tehani: i have to live you, very nice to meet you, hope to see you again
Lucinda Lavender: I had a hard time stopping dancing last night

    --BELL--

    Ain't No Body's Business if I do...

    Eliza Madrigal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4Fsx...eature=related
Paradise Tennant: smiles at eliza ..now that is a great song :)
Eliza Madrigal: hearbreaking lyrics at parts.. and Billie singing with such a joyful step...
Eliza Madrigal: seems like 'truth' :)
Paradise Tennant: some music you can just breathe :)
Paradise Tennant: becomes integral to you awareness :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes... what an interesting thing...
    Wol Euler nods.
Eliza Madrigal: music is like a holiday, in the same sense we were talking about with eden perhaps... evoking embedded memories....
    Lucinda Lavender: stirring
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm, yes

Eliza Madrigal: Lucinda, may I ask you a question about dreaming?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Eliza Madrigal: In your group, when you go 'back' to a dream again and again, do you find that you can access one from years before with more and more details?
Eliza Madrigal: I am wondering about the lines between remembering, and interpretation I think
Lucinda Lavender: well if you mean go back in the sense of speaking the dream at dream circle...I have rarely spoken a dream twice or more that one circle mtg.
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, I see... yes I think I was just curious to see patterns over a long time
Lucinda Lavender: In one dream circle the stone moving around the circle several times takes the consciousness to a deeper place sometimes
    Eliza Madrigal: nods...

Lucinda Lavender: Dream circle is partly to let the other dreamers be the wise ones.

    Eliza Madrigal: interesting, how so?
Lucinda Lavender: ...and to let go of the dream as personal.
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah!!
Eliza Madrigal: so one tells the dream as a way of letting it go into the circle, in a sense?
    Eliza Madrigal: fascinating
Lucinda Lavender: Instead of lookin yes
Lucinda Lavender: I think it can be personal...tho
Eliza Madrigal: and rather than there being one 'tribe leader' or some such, then its understood that each has wisdom to share...
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
    Lucinda Lavender: !
Eliza Madrigal: seems very scientific... peer-to-peer :)))
    Lucinda Lavender: ah!
Lucinda Lavender: it is sometimes a personal dream...
Lucinda Lavender: I choose the ones that are less so...
Eliza Madrigal: I always think of Pila (not sure if you've met Pila) saying 'We need each other's magic"
Paradise Tennant: smiles yes Pila has wonderful insight :)
Lucinda Lavender: yes I have met... and yes that wisdom is an infusion of energy
Eliza Madrigal: Knowing that you 'could' share a personal dream is nice :)
Eliza Madrigal: like a safety net
Lucinda Lavender: there are several levels.
Lucinda Lavender: and usually we have to admit that to ourselves at least
    Lucinda Lavender: to be truthful
Eliza Madrigal: hm, thank you for elaborating Lucinda... challenging to be deeply truthful with what 'feels' private, like dreams perhaps
Lucinda Lavender: I think there are dreams that we as individuals understand the energies of some more than others

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: Paradise, I remember that you were starting to remember dreams... still going?
Paradise Tennant: occassionally but much less than others seem to be able to :)
Paradise Tennant: plus I only seem to remember the really nice ones !
Paradise Tennant: smiles selective screening :)
Eliza Madrigal: Well, hard to complain about that! :D
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: one of my favourites in the last year was .. sitting in a field with a man and a woman at a picnic bench
Paradise Tennant: in the dream I knew them ..though when I woke up I did not remember who they were
Paradise Tennant: they started to sing ..
    Eliza Madrigal: Ohhhh
Paradise Tennant: in kind of bell tones very beautiful harmony
Paradise Tennant: I joined in ..
    Lucinda Lavender: lovely!
    Eliza Madrigal: how lovely!
Paradise Tennant: the woman looked very surprised that I could sing
Paradise Tennant: we sang the song till it ended and the land tone quivered in the air
Paradise Tennant: then we all smiled at each other
Paradise Tennant: and I woke up
    Wol Euler: lovely :)
Eliza Madrigal: wow, that is just beautiful

Paradise Tennant: always find when I do remember a dream I feel like someone has given me a gift

    Lucinda Lavender: yes!
    Eliza Madrigal: yes, smiling
Eliza Madrigal: and perhaps a gift that is to be shared with others at times...
    Lucinda Lavender: yes!
Eliza Madrigal: your dream touches and teaches something very special, Paradise :)
    Lucinda Lavender: healing
    Eliza Madrigal: indeed
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: I had a dream about death once too
Lucinda Lavender: creates bridges between people and worlds...
Paradise Tennant: was hovering near a ceiling light in an emergency ward
    Eliza Madrigal: oh my...
Paradise Tennant: my body was on a guerney
    Lucinda Lavender: observing?
    Paradise Tennant: yes ..
Paradise Tennant: my hands were in great shape nice manicure ..jewellery sparklling the rest of me not so good
Paradise Tennant: 3 doctors were standing around me
Lucinda Lavender: sometimes it can be that as a dreamer we are dreaming in to someone lses experience
Paradise Tennant: I have on my donor card legalese for take whatever you can use but want 3 opinions I am dead
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Wol Euler nods.
    Paradise Tennant: wonders
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Paradise Tennant: the feelling of being out of body
    Paradise Tennant: was incredible
Paradise Tennant: did not want to go back
    Paradise Tennant: felt
    Paradise Tennant: free
    Paradise Tennant: full of curiousity
    Paradise Tennant: very big spacious
Paradise Tennant: then the dream advanced I was walking on a construction site
Eliza Madrigal: AH... yes that's the part which most interests me... the feelings evoked in dreams... like we can actually taste something deeply real ....
Paradise Tennant: by a white van
Paradise Tennant: turned to see a bobcat (earthmover) come out of no where very fast .. woke up on impact
    Paradise Tennant: first thought ..
Paradise Tennant: was that was a gift
Lucinda Lavender: in a sense construction was then evoked by the experience
Paradise Tennant: am very careful of white vans ..and no longer wear nail polish :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Wol Euler: :)+
Paradise Tennant: yes the time line was mixed
    Lucinda Lavender: freedom first...then construction
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, have had dreams like that too.. backwards
    Eliza Madrigal: Interesting idea Lucinda!
Paradise Tennant: think I experienced the accident last and the effect first
    Lucinda Lavender: and movement
Lucinda Lavender: viewing the potential from an ahead position
    Eliza Madrigal: hmm, yes
Eliza Madrigal: accessing a different kind of time, certainly
Paradise Tennant: but none of the negatives we associate with death or physical hurt totally different perspective
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Eliza Madrigal: My son talks about this with me.... 'heaven time', he says, is like in dreams
Paradise Tennant: wow eliza say more :)
Eliza Madrigal: a decade in a flash, and more packed in than we can possibly remember...
Eliza Madrigal: and also visa versa
    Eliza Madrigal: He's 11 :)
    Lucinda Lavender: nice...
Eliza Madrigal: your dream certainly seems like what people who've had NDE describe, paradise...
    Eliza Madrigal: quite profound
Paradise Tennant: yes it does doesn't it ..much more powerful when you get to experience it

    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: i am much less worried about dying .. though still concerned for those you leave behind ..think now they are the ones with the more difficult passage .. dealing with the loss .. death may really be .. a liberation of sorts or at least not the negative we envision ..
Eliza Madrigal: not to be morbid but dreaming helps prepare us for death.. for letting go....
    Lucinda Lavender: yes..
    Wol Euler nods.
Eliza Madrigal: That's a wonderful peace to have, Paradise, what a comfort
    Paradise Tennant: yes
    Paradise Tennant: a gift
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Winding up the session, I realize that title-ing really is an issue! This was a multiverse of a session, after all!

We use the remainder of our time wisely, constructing a letter to Wol's employer...

Eliza Madrigal: wow... now I really don't know what to name this log... hahahahha
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Wol Euler: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Maybe simply "Wol has a day off"
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Paradise Tennant: perfect!
    Wol Euler: awwwwwww <3
Paradise Tennant: she does not get enough of them :)
    Wol Euler: it's true.
Eliza Madrigal: absolutely... we need to write a group letter in the Times
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Eliza Madrigal: Dear Employer of Wol,
Paradise Tennant: hmm the stuttgart .. daily press!
    Wol Euler: :))))))
    Wol Euler: Stuttgarter Nachrichten
Wol Euler gets out her pencil
Eliza Madrigal: We feel that Wol's creativity is being hindered by not being allowed to relax into a deeply settled state
    Paradise Tennant: lol
    Paradise Tennant: I agree!
    Wol Euler: hehehehe
Paradise Tennant: work is disruptive at the intensity
Wol Euler: don't forget the sleep deprivation.
    Paradise Tennant: *that
Eliza Madrigal: You may find brilliance emerges as Being is indulged
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: or you allow you body to breathe ..and live :) not just work :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Eliza Madrigal: Therefore we request long stretches of sleep for Wol, and plenty of playtime :)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Wol Euler cheers
Paradise Tennant: yes .. we are circulating a petition!
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Wol Euler: so sweet of you <3
Paradise Tennant: which will criss cross the globe :)
    Eliza Madrigal: !!
Eliza Madrigal: World Wide Web for Wol
Lucinda Lavender: putting it out into the universe on your behalf...
    Paradise Tennant: there the title!

    Eliza Madrigal laughs
Eliza Madrigal: Ah.... brilliant time-playing-with son has come downstairs asking for a shopping trip...
