The Guardian for this meeting was Pema Pera, who provided the comments.  Bleu Oleander kindly provided the last part of the chat log, because the autologger didn't work during this session.

    Pema Pera: hi Fc!
    FcSeeker: hi Pema
    Pema Pera: how are you?
    FcSeeker: well...it's full moon :)
Pema Pera: yes, isn't it pretty?
    FcSeeker: hi Korel
    FcSeeker: it is indeed
    Pema Pera: hi Korel!
FcSeeker: so I feel grace and happiness yet with peace
Pema Pera: Yesterday evening it was beautiful to see the moon rising over the eastern mountains, from Kyoto
    FcSeeker: how are you ?
Pema Pera: fine, peaceful too, in the middle of a lot of work
    FcSeeker: so wondertull :)
    Pema Pera: hi Bert!
    FcSeeker: hi Bertrum
    Pema Pera: Hi Sine!
    Bertrum: hi everyone.
    Korel Laloix: osiyo
    sinequanon Sahara: Hello Pema...
    FcSeeker: hi sinequanon
    sinequanon Sahara: Korel...
    sinequanon Sahara: Seeker
    sinequanon Sahara: Bertrum
Pema Pera: We were just talking about the full moon . . . .
    Pema Pera: hi Aphrodite!
Korel Laloix: I love the look.
    Pema Pera: yes
    Aphrodite Macbain: Do you?
    FcSeeker: Hello Aphrodite
    sinequanon Sahara: hi Aphrodite
    Bertrum: hi Aphrodite
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hello everyone
    Aphrodite Macbain: lovely evening
    Bertrum: Hi Steve
    FcSeeker: Hello steve
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hiya stevenaia
    Pema Pera: hi Steve!
    stevenaia Michinaga: Hello my friends
Korel Laloix: Full moons are fun.
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes. amazingly beautiful
Pema Pera: and they look so big when low on the horizon
Aphrodite Macbain: low in the sky for me now
Pema Pera: as if you can touch them

Not everybody had visual access to said object . . .

stevenaia Michinaga: big rain here, no moon, no meteor
Pema Pera: (behind the Earth for me, right now)
    Aphrodite Macbain: meteor?
    Pema Pera: :-)
    stevenaia Michinaga: meteor shower
sinequanon Sahara: its one of the un answered questions in science,,,,i think...why the sun and the moon look so big when they are close to the horizon...Pema?
    stevenaia Michinaga: Persius I think
Aphrodite Macbain: oh . too light here to see that
FcSeeker: looked Nasa's photos of that just a moment ago
    Pema Pera: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perseids
    stevenaia Michinaga: thank you Pema
    Aphrodite Macbain: atmospheric perspective?
sinequanon Sahara: its more then just atmosperic i guess
Pema Pera: yes, it is partially answered, Sine, but there are still questions; its about cognitive psychology
    Pema Pera: the human eye/brain
Aphrodite Macbain: It just appears to be bigger because it's low
    Aphrodite Macbain: ?
Pema Pera: it appears bigger when low yes, but why?
stevenaia Michinaga: Used to lay outside looking up and watch them shoot across the sky
    Pema Pera: that's the question
    Pema Pera: hi Cosmic!
    FcSeeker: hi Cosmic Parx
    Cosmic Parx: Hello ㋡
Korel Laloix: hey all... THis is COsmic. First time here I think.
Cosmic Parx: Thanks for the TP, Korel
FcSeeker: well...may I ask something from you Pema ?
    sinequanon Sahara: Cosmic
Pema Pera: Cosmic, we get together a few times a day to chat about the nature of reality, and everything else, and we have a wiki http://wiki.playasbeing.org/ -- We record our conversations there. Do you mind being included in our blogs?
    Pema Pera: sure, Fc :-)
sinequanon Sahara: the moon is like the heart...and the mind is like the sun
Cosmic Parx: No problem. I'm unlikely to say much anyway ㋡

    The session title was formed:

Korel Laloix: I like running at night with afull moon.
Pema Pera: thanks, Cosmic, but feel free to join in whenever you like!
FcSeeker: that is there some fact concerning the claim that there shall come some comet so near to Earth on monday that it shall create big earth quakes ?
    stevenaia Michinaga: welcomes Cosmic
Korel Laloix: Otherewise my night vision is so crap I cant realy do it.
Aphrodite Macbain: It's nice that there are some things we still can't answer
    Aphrodite Macbain: or explain
Pema Pera: I don't think so, Fc, first time I heard about it :-)

Sometimes small asteroids pass relatively close by the Earth; comets rarily do so; and none of the have been known to cause earth quakes -- unless they impact the Earth directly.

    FcSeeker: thank you
Pema Pera: with everything we explain, we find new questions we can't answer yet :-)
Pema Pera: nice about moon and heart, Sin!

     -- Bell --

FcSeeker: I've heared that many times and already long ago, and just watched such video in which that claim was based on something that Nasa has released, but couldn't know if the video has just joined wrong things together
stevenaia Michinaga: they seem to be everywhere... http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/ca/
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Bleu
    Bleu (bleu.oleander): hi everyone :)
Pema Pera: oh yes, there are many many small mountains floating in the sky
Pema Pera: and whizzing by the Earth
Pema Pera: fortunately we form a small target
sinequanon Sahara: we say that the heart is like a mirror...the arabic word for heart is qalb...rhymes with...qalm(Pen)...both ways of communication
Pema Pera: and rather few hit
    FcSeeker: Hello Bleu
    Pema Pera: hi Bleu!
    Bertrum: hi Bleu
Pema Pera: who is your favorite poet, Sine?
sinequanon Sahara: in urdu it is Mirza Ghalib...
Pema Pera: what kind of poems did he write?
sinequanon Sahara: not very qualified with english poetry to have a favourite yet :)
sinequanon Sahara: he mainly wrote Ghazals...
sinequanon Sahara: series of five to more couplets...all standing distinct from each other...
sinequanon Sahara: i am not aware of such device in english
Korel Laloix: I have never really go the the hang of poetry.
sinequanon Sahara: he writes about love..its anguish..lfe..its burdens...
sinequanon Sahara: he isnt essentialy a mystical poet...
stevenaia Michinaga: I used to agree Korel... until recenly :)
Pema Pera: love and anguish often do spill over into mysticism . . . .
sinequanon Sahara: but his poetry ..the way he creates language anew...its marvelous...
stevenaia Michinaga: so it is worth the wait
sinequanon Sahara: yes he once wrote..people would have considered you a saint...had you not been a drunkard...
Pema Pera: that's one of the pleasures of knowing a few languages, being able to taste poetry in the original language
    Pema Pera: :-)
sinequanon Sahara: and boy was he a drunkard...
Korel Laloix: That sort of theam may be exactly why I dont do poetry. smiles
Pema Pera: do we know for sure?
Pema Pera: that he was a drunkard?
Pema Pera: or did he use that to exaggerate?
Pema Pera: as a figure of style?
sinequanon Sahara: not in that sense...he wasnt a looser alcoholic...
Korel Laloix: I have the drunkard part down I think.
    Pema Pera: :-)
    Korel Laloix: Well, used to.

    Steve gave us background information:

    stevenaia Michinaga: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirza_Ghalib
Korel Laloix: I like EA Poe.
Pema Pera: glad you slowed down, Korel :)
sinequanon Sahara: but he was ridden with debts....and he would get more...to get more drinks...
Cosmic Parx: Glad that doesn't make him a loser alcoholic ㋡
Pema Pera: ah, he lived only two centuries ago
sinequanon Sahara: yes not a very long time ago...
sinequanon Sahara: i have never come across any decent translation of him...he is difficult to translate...
sinequanon Sahara: he had a wonderful sense of humour ...
Korel Laloix: I would think that translating any poet would be difficult.
Pema Pera: can you give an example of his humor, Sine?
Korel Laloix: Translating a good one even harder.
Pema Pera: a saying or little anecdote?
    sinequanon Sahara: he loved mangoes...
sinequanon Sahara: once he and his friend were goinf somewhere...and they saw a donkey sniffing mangoes and then leaving them..
sinequanon Sahara: his friend says..ghalib even donkeys dont eat mangoes...
sinequanon Sahara: he replied...yes donkeys dont eat mangoes
    FcSeeker: :)
    Pema Pera: :-)

Pema Pera: I may call upon you in case I don't get the autorecorder log
    Bleu (bleu.oleander): ok will do
Pema Pera: (the system claims not to work -- so either the recording is at fault or the claim is at fault -- we'll see which)
    Pema Pera: bfn
Bleu (bleu.oleander): although I arrived late
Pema Pera: oh, I have already everything up to now

    Korel Laloix: And here.
Korel Laloix: Been a crazy summer, but nice and hot.

     -- Bell --
