The Guardian for this meeting was Pema Pera. The comments are by Pema Pera.

Pema Pera: Hey, O, so good to see you again!
oO0Oo Resident smiles.. good to see you Pema
Pema Pera: (hard to click on the PaB listener, with all the fish circling it :-)
Pema Pera: how have you been?
Pema Pera: (if I seem not to answer, it may be my relatively slow email connection; in that case, please repeat :)
oO0Oo Resident: ::thinks:: life is like schools of fish through which I occasionally try to click.. they are more or less dense at various times.. sometimes I am in the wonder of them.. sometimes I need, or think I need to click something.
    oO0Oo Resident: kk
    oO0Oo Resident: no worries
Pema Pera: nice image . . . yes, we move between acting and letting go . . .
    Pema Pera: hi Frenchie!
    Frenchie Riverstone: hi :)
Pema Pera: nice to meet you, Frenchie
oO0Oo Resident: yes .. thinking about need to leap.. and let tenderness remain, as arrogance sometimes takes over (for me)
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Frenchie
    Frenchie Riverstone: :) ntsy2
Pema Pera: hahaha, for all of us, Sam -- the difference is whether or not we recognize it
Pema Pera is now pondering the notion of a tender leap
Frenchie Riverstone: leap like when dancing?
    Pema Pera: yes, nice integration!
Frenchie Riverstone: i like to do dance :)
oO0Oo Resident smiles .. compassion can free space .. just in a laugh
    Pema Pera: (^_^)
    Pema Pera: hi Paradise!
    Frenchie Riverstone: waves
oO0Oo Resident: Hi Paradise.. dance with us?
Paradise Tennant: smiles and waves all round .. are we dancing ;) ?
    oO0Oo Resident: daring to leap
Pema Pera: or just stepping off the cliff :)
oO0Oo Resident: with room for tenderness to remain alongside
Paradise Tennant: smiles and straps on her parachute :)
oO0Oo Resident: alongside? did I say that?

jumping and stepping out reminded me of stepping in . . .

Pema Pera: recently I played a bit more with the idea of stepping into appearance . . . taking any impression, senses, though, imagination whatever, and stepping into it, like a doorway
Pema Pera: a kind of Alice in Wonderland feeling
Frenchie Riverstone: is good to feel our feelings :)
Pema Pera: yes, we tend to separate ourselves from them
Pema Pera: as the owners or judges
Pema Pera: it's fun to do just before falling asleep, to enter dreams that way
Pema Pera: and also fun during the day -- when I do it I notice how much I tend to stand apart from my own experience in subtle ways
    Paradise Tennant: the watcher
Frenchie Riverstone: dreams are feelings too, no?
Pema Pera: stepping in, it feels a bit like swallowing the world, or being swallowed by it, both
    --BELL--
Pema Pera: dreams include most anything :)
oO0Oo Resident: rabbit hole of great friendliness
    oO0Oo Resident: snap
Pema Pera: letting time play freely
Pema Pera: while falling through the hole :)
Paradise Tennant: to no feeling of time ? is time a feeling :)
Pema Pera: what do you think, Paradise?
Paradise Tennant: smiles when I really pay attention it seems to disappear
    Pema Pera: how about space?
    Paradise Tennant: feels more fluid
    Paradise Tennant: more connected
Pema Pera: yes, more an embedding feeling
    Pema Pera: with time empowering
Pema Pera: (just right now, I'm letting myself step into whatever appears, RL and SL simultaneously, the river outside my screen, the computer screen, the pond right here. It all feels very connected)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Pema Pera: (much less a sense of an observer judging)
    Pema Pera: how about you?

Paradise painted quite a different picture of her RL surroundings at that moment.

Paradise Tennant: well right now we have a fire alarm going :) fire engines blaring outside .. and I have dog who is panting in my lap :) so feel like a participant at the moment :)
Pema Pera: perhaps they are stepping into your life :)
Paradise Tennant: but the still moments of intense concentration are when I feel the most connected :)
Pema Pera: do you have a way of finding those, or do they just appear?
Paradise Tennant: they just seem to come :)
    Paradise Tennant: and you ?
    Pema Pera: both
Pema Pera: sometimes they just appear
Pema Pera: but often I find it helpful to make a small gesture, just something very simple
Pema Pera: like taking a deeper breath, or just looking around in appreciation
Pema Pera: well, you know, the 9 sec (or often just 0.9 sec :-)
    Pema Pera: I find 9 seconds often very long . . . .
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: awkward when you are with people
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
Pema Pera: it depends on how you do it
    --BELL--
Pema Pera: you can be silent inwardly, while continuing to talk
oO0Oo Resident: 2011.07.15 19:00 Paradise Tennant "...in two places at once sometimes randomly dispersed in time and even separated by the breadth of the universe :)"
    Paradise Tennant: smiles at O
Pema Pera: very nice, O/P :-)
Pema Pera: for example, when in a conversation, when I do a 9-sec pause, I try to drop my urge to respond and focus more on what the other is saying, and how -- and of course when I need to respond, I do
Pema Pera: it still has the quality of a 9-sec break though
Pema Pera: 9-sec silence is just the first step, the more outwardly way of doing it
Paradise Tennant: smiles it is a discipline :)
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
    Pema Pera: and an exploration
oO0Oo Resident: 2011.07.09 19:00 Pema Pera: "we seem to have to center onto ourselves before we can discover we are the universe :-)"
Pema Pera: a discipline in reminding yourself to start it -- the rest is free exploration with little discipline
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
Paradise Tennant: yes :) always need to take the first step
oO0Oo Resident looks at toes dangling on edge of diving board
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Paradise Tennant: at O's toes :)
Paradise Tennant: sigh going to have to excuse my self for a few minutes the dog .. does not take well to the alarms .. he needs a walk to settle his nerves be back :) and thank you :)
    oO0Oo Resident: no worries
    Pema Pera: bye Paradise!

Paradise left, and so did I.

Pema Pera: actually, I'll have to leave too, to get to my lunchtime appointment, twenty minutes from now
Pema Pera: sorry to leave you here alone, Sam!
oO0Oo Resident: OK Pema.. will the log come through for you OK?
Pema Pera: I presume so -- if not, I'll holler :-)
Pema Pera: see you next time!
oO0Oo Resident: Really nice to see you. Enjoy lunch.
    Pema Pera: thank you :)
    oO0Oo Resident: wb Frenchie
    Frenchie Riverstone: sry :)
    oO0Oo Resident: no worries
    Frenchie Riverstone: i crash :(
    oO0Oo Resident: :)
    --BELL--
oO0Oo Resident: The dance of SL.. sometimes the record skips
    Frenchie Riverstone: :)
Frenchie Riverstone: is recording here, no?
oO0Oo Resident: yes.. is that OK with you Frenchie.. that your words are part of the wiki record?
Frenchie Riverstone: yes i think that is right
Frenchie Riverstone: you say record skips?
    Frenchie Riverstone: does not record?
    Frenchie Riverstone: ???
Frenchie Riverstone: appear i still connect
oO0Oo Resident: Oh.. let me explain ::laughs:: I tried to connect your interest in dance with the fact that your SL viewer crashed, by thinking about the feeling of interupting that can happen when dancing when the music (audio record player) has a scratch.. or the needle bumps off.. unexpectedly. Different from the kind of record that is made of these conversations. :) I hope that makes sense.
Frenchie Riverstone: you read words from me no?
    Frenchie Riverstone: audio record player?
    Frenchie Riverstone: media player?
    Frenchie Riverstone: needle?
Frenchie Riverstone: please tell me meanings
oO0Oo Resident: sorry.. I make reference to older technology.
Frenchie Riverstone: i still learn English
oO0Oo Resident: two meanings of 'record'
    Frenchie Riverstone: ?
oO0Oo Resident: 1) vinyl disc that plays music recordings
    Frenchie Riverstone: like CD?
oO0Oo Resident: 2) the transcription of our dialogue here into written language on the play as being wiki website
Frenchie Riverstone: is CD vinyl disc?
    oO0Oo Resident: yes! like CD
    Frenchie Riverstone: :)
oO0Oo Resident: I'm sorry.. I make things complicated.. Is there anything on your mind you would like to discuss?
    Frenchie Riverstone: no
Frenchie Riverstone: i hope for to see FcSeeker
    Frenchie Riverstone: or Dash
    Frenchie Riverstone: but no
oO0Oo Resident: I see.. well.. it is nice to sit.. they may be along
    Frenchie Riverstone: yes :)
Frenchie Riverstone: i like here with water pool and fountain and fish :)
    oO0Oo Resident smiles
    oO0Oo Resident: I do too
    --BELL--
Frenchie Riverstone: meeting is complete no?
oO0Oo Resident: There is no exact time limit.. although there are distinct starting times
Frenchie Riverstone: i lose connecting again, sry :(
    Frenchie Riverstone: i go now
    oO0Oo Resident: no worries Frenchie
oO0Oo Resident: nice sitting with you
    Frenchie Riverstone: ty
Frenchie Riverstone: good night to you Samud?
    oO0Oo Resident: good night! :)
