    Raffila Millgrove: hi Steve

stevenaia Michinaga: what a lovely dress
Raffila Millgrove: ty. always go to a big theme party on Friday. today was .. French.
stevenaia Michinaga: I see you found the key to changing your... words over you name
Raffila Millgrove: oh yeah the display name thing.
    Raffila Millgrove: oh no.
    Raffila Millgrove: mm.
Raffila Millgrove: wonder what you are referring to?
    stevenaia Michinaga: the "Cultivator"
Raffila Millgrove: i always try to wear that tag here.
stevenaia Michinaga: I had just stopped in at Storm's "Metta-karuna" meditation pavillion, fist time in voice, it was very nice, have you heard him speak the meditation words?
Raffila Millgrove: once in awhile i forget cause . i am busy building. and i have to have the matriarch one on.. to build on my land. and somedays.. i leave it on as trouble happens if i start doing building ... and forget it.
Raffila Millgrove: well.. this meditation. before he put into the house. he did .. it one day. i was there.
    Raffila Millgrove: for it.
Raffila Millgrove: he was leading it himself. so yes i am familiar with it. but not how he set it up .. which sounds amazing.
stevenaia Michinaga: seems to be applicable in many instances.. like my other "tag"
Raffila Millgrove: the tag? applicable to the mediation... i dont' exactly follow that?
Raffila Millgrove: i must not be listening to you right.
    Raffila Millgrove: hi San
    Santoshima Resident: hi Raffila, Stevenaia
stevenaia Michinaga: the tag "cultivator" is applicable to here or many other places you may visit
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi San
    Raffila Millgrove: ah ok.
Santoshima Resident: hi Sam, up there
    Santoshima Resident: sweet
stevenaia Michinaga: Samud, the lovely butterfly?
Raffila Millgrove: oh look... sam is a butterfly. how cool
    Santoshima Resident: yup, cool
Raffila Millgrove: i didn't see this before in an avi. amazing.
    Raffila Millgrove: fun. and pretty
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi all.
    Raffila Millgrove: HI -0-
stevenaia Michinaga: I have a butterfly affect but no longer know what it is called

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: to give Samud friends
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
Santoshima Resident: :) kind of you steve ... hidden in inventory?
stevenaia Michinaga: no idea if I actually did that
    Santoshima Resident: did what?
    stevenaia Michinaga: make butterflies
    Santoshima Resident: oh
    Santoshima Resident: :)
Santoshima Resident: hang on, i'll give you that effect too Raffi
Raffila Millgrove: mm seems to have fallen underground now.
Santoshima Resident: might as well all recline
    Santoshima Resident: ... a moment
Raffila Millgrove looks at the wisps of steve's dress.
Raffila Millgrove: ah now she is doing Opehlia.
    Raffila Millgrove: Ophelia.
    stevenaia Michinaga: finding other animations
Raffila Millgrove: wow san. that's really a good recline.
Santoshima Resident: why are you sub-surface, stevie?
    Santoshima Resident: when you recline?
    stevenaia Michinaga: I was sitting
    Santoshima Resident: oh, i see
Santoshima Resident: you need to stand first
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
    Santoshima Resident: nice dress, Raffi
stevenaia Michinaga: I should try this while meditating at Storms
Santoshima Resident: how do i stop my camera from moving around when i move the avi?
stevenaia Michinaga: option click on what you wnat to look at
    Santoshima Resident: oh, sorry raffi
    Santoshima Resident: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hoping for music
Raffila Millgrove: just hear it in my mind.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: looking at "theme list.".. thinks of additions
Raffila Millgrove: it's it over 1000 or someting? Raffi laughs.
Santoshima Resident: start with the "a"s ...
Santoshima Resident: we'll work our way through :)
Raffila Millgrove: i got tired just looking at the list.
    Raffila Millgrove: all those ideas..
Raffila Millgrove: but.. so many of them.. just great.
stevenaia Michinaga: nice to see a collaborative list like this
stevenaia Michinaga: many are worth searching in the logs of past
stevenaia Michinaga: see the paths previously traveled
Raffila Millgrove: i am wondering if i will ever finish reading them. it's such slow going.
stevenaia Michinaga: sometime, I have my computer read them to me
Santoshima Resident: oh dear ... maybe just make yourself a cup of tea and settle in ...
Raffila Millgrove: you now that boxy says. the totality of words.. it's now more than 3 times the length of war and peace.
    Santoshima Resident: funny
Raffila Millgrove: i forget how long it took me to read war and peace but.. it wasn't as difficult as getting thru the logs. they are not easy to read .. for me.

    --BELL--

Raffila Millgrove: i read all seven books of Proust and that took years. and i have the feeling that i am looking at that time too for the logs.
stevenaia Michinaga: that is how the scribe series got started, a way of condencing three days of log to highlights of many sessions, I'm sure it was a labor of love dfor those who volunteeried
stevenaia Michinaga: but must have been time consuming
Raffila Millgrove: ah i didn't know that. i didn't even open scribe project yet.
Santoshima Resident: stevie, does your computer have a voice?
Raffila Millgrove: maybe i should go over to that idea.
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, (so does yours)
Raffila Millgrove: do the scribe .. stuff.
    Santoshima Resident: [gasp} it does?
Raffila Millgrove: probably .. most new ones will.
Santoshima Resident: it will read text out loud ?
stevenaia Michinaga: if you select text it will read it to you (Application menu-services-speach)
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
    Santoshima Resident: ok, ty
Santoshima Resident: [making a writtn note, so that I don't have to read the logs later ...]
stevenaia Michinaga: works on websites, text docs, (not SL)
    Santoshima Resident: super
    stevenaia Michinaga: not Word docs
    Santoshima Resident: ok
    Raffila Millgrove: that's windows 7?
    Santoshima Resident: mac?
    stevenaia Michinaga: MacOS
    Raffila Millgrove: ah
    Santoshima Resident: right, good
    Raffila Millgrove: didn't sound familiar.
Raffila Millgrove: but my daughter has mac and she has her computer read to her.
    stevenaia Michinaga: RAffi - http://wiki.playasbeing.org/Chat_Logs/Scribe_Project
Raffila Millgrove: even tho i had pc (for business reason) i bought my children Macs
stevenaia Michinaga: Mac can run Windows now
    Raffila Millgrove: yes.
Raffila Millgrove: one stayed with mac. the other switched.. the older ones.. they left before you had to buy them computers.
    Raffila Millgrove: older.
Santoshima Resident: how many children, Raffi?
Raffila Millgrove: well i raised five... 3 of them were my natural. two were fulltimers.. steps.
    Santoshima Resident: full house :)
Raffila Millgrove: i liked it. but they were far spread in ages.. i wouldn't like it if they were all young tiny etc at once.
Raffila Millgrove: you see people with 3-4 children under five? oh my. not for me.
stevenaia Michinaga: one was plenty of me
Raffila Millgrove: i had a child in kindergarden-12 grade.. for 29 years straight.
    Santoshima Resident: oh wow
    stevenaia Michinaga: wow
Raffila Millgrove: yeah my whole adult life. i was mothering.
Raffila Millgrove: so.. when they finally were all gone.. wow.. i never really liked it. at all.
Raffila Millgrove: i been waiting for grandchildren ever since.
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
    Santoshima Resident: hmm
Santoshima Resident: i have no children, and have not raised any
Raffila Millgrove: i loved to play with them.. or just listen to them.. laughing.
Santoshima Resident: and have some regret about that
Raffila Millgrove: they brought such life.. into house. full of life .. sounds. it's so quiet now.
    Santoshima Resident: i'm sure
Raffila Millgrove: all their friends in and out. always.. such happiness. i hate with out it.
Raffila Millgrove: i can't get used to it. i don't think i ever will be used to it.
Raffila Millgrove: had to just accept it..
    Santoshima Resident: understandable
stevenaia Michinaga: plenty of children here
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Raffila Millgrove: i wanted to take foster babies.. but.. my husband said no.
Raffila Millgrove: i think.. maybe life is different san with no children. they say people without them are actually happier people.
Santoshima Resident: babies as in multiple?
Santoshima Resident: how about just one?
Raffila Millgrove: it's not really all it's cracked up to be.. evidentally..
Santoshima Resident: you know, i don't know
stevenaia Michinaga: the grass is always greener
    Santoshima Resident: always
    Santoshima Resident: it would seem
Raffila Millgrove: no just one. but i think i could have been very valuable as i know how to take care of blind babies. and most people dont' have that.

    --BELL--

Santoshima Resident: sam fluttered off somewhere in the last while ...
Raffila Millgrove: he was briefly a lion. i saw.
stevenaia Michinaga: just like a real butterfly
Santoshima Resident: yes, and a dragonfly ...
stevenaia Michinaga: I get so confused even changing my dress
Santoshima Resident: a great way to come and see what's happening unobtrusively
Raffila Millgrove: i have two avis i like. a tiny dragon that breathes fire and a sea serpent.
    Santoshima Resident: oh, fun
Raffila Millgrove: the rest i never got into.
stevenaia Michinaga: I ahve a heard enough time keeping track of one
Raffila Millgrove: but i had companion with many avis and when i got sad. .she would change into them to cheer me. always was fun.
    Santoshima Resident: hmm
Santoshima Resident: breathing fire could come in handy
    Santoshima Resident: when words ellude
Raffila Millgrove: it's so fun.. coming out of a tiny dragon with all the smoke/fire.
Raffila Millgrove: maybe i come in it next friday.
Raffila Millgrove: would take me too long to get out of this dress safely.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :) can;t wait
Santoshima Resident: yes! bring on the dragon
Raffila Millgrove: i'd look like the new Rhi.. all naked while i was fumbling around trying to get out of this and into that. lol
stevenaia Michinaga: I ahve a flying horse and a dancing cow I can sit one
Raffila Millgrove: oh i have teh dancing cow too
    Raffila Millgrove: it makes noise.
Raffila Millgrove: i love that thing.

    Stevenaia_ Play as Being Pavilion, Bieup (64, 36, 103) - Modera.png

Santoshima Resident: oh, look at that ...
Santoshima Resident: hold on i need i picture
    Santoshima Resident: for the archives
    stevenaia Michinaga: rut row
    Santoshima Resident: oh dear ...
    Raffila Millgrove: you wear it.
Santoshima Resident: it's not working out
    Santoshima Resident: hang on
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
    Raffila Millgrove: it makes noise.
    Raffila Millgrove: wear
    stevenaia Michinaga: touch its tail
Santoshima Resident: you're moving too fast to "touch the tail"
    Santoshima Resident: cheezy music, huh?
Raffila Millgrove: delete that one. and WEAR the one in inv.
stevenaia Michinaga: it is a cow after all
    Santoshima Resident: funny and bizarre
    Santoshima Resident: all at once
stevenaia Michinaga: it seems to have stolen my dress
    Santoshima Resident: it did, steve
    Santoshima Resident: beasty cow
Raffila Millgrove: try again san. wear it this time.
Santoshima Resident: oh, raffi, i do not want a cow ... but thank you
    Santoshima Resident: got a moose?
Raffila Millgrove: dunno why i cannot hear music or sound.
Raffila Millgrove: can't hear the moooo
stevenaia Michinaga: you have to turn the sound on
Raffila Millgrove: oh there we go.
    stevenaia Michinaga: I hear it
Santoshima Resident: the cow is pretty good, but falls short of what I'd hope ... around the eyes and face
    Santoshima Resident: not very "cow-like"
Santoshima Resident: maybe boxy needs a cow?
Raffila Millgrove: well it's a Dancing Cow. complete with it's own horrible music.
    Raffila Millgrove: haha
    Santoshima Resident: hello boxy ;)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Boxy
Raffila Millgrove: it really gets on your nerves after a few minutes.
stevenaia Michinaga: you can detach it
Raffila Millgrove expects san will leave any minute if she doesn't turn it off.
Santoshima Resident: best to wear a satin gown when riding
Raffila Millgrove: now here is a nice quiet dancing frog.
stevenaia Michinaga: amazng how peaceful it gets when the cows leave
    Santoshima Resident: a puppet frog?
Santoshima Resident: don't see many of those
Santoshima Resident: it IS peacefule now that the cow is gone
Raffila Millgrove: very quiet and polite frog
Santoshima Resident: be not afraid, boxy
Santoshima Resident: join us, won't you?
Santoshima Resident: we are hauling out curios from inventory
Raffila Millgrove: ah this is a portable stage in case you need to suddenly perform.

    Snapshot_001.png
stevenaia Michinaga: now there's a look, RAffi
    Alfred Kelberry: hi guys :)
    Santoshima Resident: hey :)
    Santoshima Resident: ah, nice
    Alfred Kelberry: i'm here for a bit. i think i got a flu :/
    Raffila Millgrove: not bad eh?
    Alfred Kelberry: fancy raffi :)
Raffila Millgrove: never know when someone wants you to perform.
Raffila Millgrove: just sit on it.

    --BELL--

    Raffila Millgrove: haha
Santoshima Resident: hmm must be a limit of two dancers

    Snapshot _ Play as Being Pavilion, Bieup (62, 34, 104) - Modera.png
    Raffila Millgrove nods
Alfred Kelberry: is it the friday party? :)
Raffila Millgrove: well it is now!
stevenaia Michinaga: you ahve to bring your own dance
Santoshima Resident: all i have are a couple flamenco scripts that Xir gave me
Raffila Millgrove: yeah that looks good San.
    Storm Nordwind stands amazed!
Raffila Millgrove: goes with your outfit.
    Santoshima Resident: ty
    Alfred Kelberry: hi, storm
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi storm
    Santoshima Resident: hi storm :)
stevenaia Michinaga: the voice in your medtation pavillion was very moving, thank you
    Storm Nordwind is astonished
    Storm Nordwind: Oh good Steve
    stevenaia Michinaga: thank you
Storm Nordwind: Been fixing it all day!
stevenaia Michinaga: I will enjoy it for a long time
    Santoshima Resident: it's fixed? congrats!
stevenaia Michinaga: the echo is supurb
    Storm Nordwind: :)
Santoshima Resident: yes it is :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: resonates perfectly
Alfred Kelberry: ok, i'm going back. getting dizzy :)
Alfred Kelberry: nice to see you folks. enjoy the party.
Storm Nordwind takes a grandstand seat
Raffila Millgrove: i think i caught one good photo.
    Santoshima Resident: well done ...
stevenaia Michinaga: post it to my log later
Santoshima Resident: and i have one good cow photo
    Santoshima Resident: excellent, thanks raffi
Raffila Millgrove: yess stretch so it's not distorted. it's a wide screen.
Raffila Millgrove: we were dancing cows. and i found my portable dance stage.. so we had to perform a bit.
Raffila Millgrove: all in a day's fun.
Storm Nordwind: Oh very theatrical - i like it!
Raffila Millgrove: never saw that thing before today. hahaha. amazing what i have in my inventory.
Raffila Millgrove: no idea where i got or when must hae been long ago.
Raffila Millgrove: found it when i typed dancing.
Raffila Millgrove: hahaha. that is GREAT, Steve. naked cow dancing.
    Raffila Millgrove: love it.
    stevenaia Michinaga: not nakid
Raffila Millgrove: ok you were wearing a thong. granted.
    Santoshima Resident: huh?
    Raffila Millgrove: but near naked.
    Santoshima Resident: nearly
    stevenaia Michinaga: well almost always
Santoshima Resident: it wasn't intended ...
Raffila Millgrove: have to look close to even see that thong. lol
    Santoshima Resident: true
Storm Nordwind: As Ms. Rubble would say: "Oh my!"
Raffila Millgrove: art. art photo Storm. haha
Storm Nordwind: yes. of course. er... natch
    Storm Nordwind: ;)
stevenaia Michinaga: hmmm lost your pics in inventory , Raffi needs to look for them
    Raffila Millgrove: what?
Storm Nordwind: San looks very thespian in that hat
    Santoshima Resident: uh, thanks you
Raffila Millgrove: yes quite distinguished. love the ha.
    Santoshima Resident: love hats
stevenaia Michinaga: ok, got them :)
Storm Nordwind: Now you need the theatrical bow like this one

    Snapshot_001.png
    Santoshima Resident: o, nice
Raffila Millgrove: oh yes. she does need it.
Santoshima Resident: that would go well with the "fanning" gesture just found yesterday
    Santoshima Resident: i'll find
Raffila Millgrove: oh i have japanese business bow if anyone needs one. and kimono dance.
Raffila Millgrove: i am waiting to do business with a Japanese person so i can bow properly.
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Santoshima Resident: snorts
stevenaia Michinaga: bedtime for me, thank you for a fun friday
Raffila Millgrove: well it could happen. IN kowloon they used to say.. no non Japanese speaker can rent here. but recently i saw that they have an agent who speaks other languages.. so they will let you rent if you use an agent.. so i could.. use my bow then.
Santoshima Resident: oh, bye stevenaia ~ sweet dreams
Storm Nordwind: Sorry to have missed the rest, but we were doing a rare thing and watching a movie
    Raffila Millgrove: bye Steve.
    Storm Nordwind waves
stevenaia Michinaga: happy weekend to you, hope you are doing better Storm
Raffila Millgrove: seems a lot of trouble tho to rent an apt in Kowloon just to use the bow.
    Storm Nordwind: Thanks Steve!

I depart for a nice sleep

Santoshima Resident: it would be a lot, Raffi
Raffila Millgrove: true but i love that place.
Storm Nordwind: Wow over 20 years since I was there
Raffila Millgrove: i always wondered what ti would be like to live there.
Storm Nordwind: Where does the time go?
    Storm Nordwind: Crowded!
Raffila Millgrove: well here's the weird thing. the SL Kowloon... it was built by Japanese .. it's all Japanese.. renters and owners.
    Storm Nordwind: really?! Wow!
Raffila Millgrove: it's fabulous build. you ever been there?

    --BELL--

    Santoshima Resident: nope
Storm Nordwind: I think i went there 4 years ago. To look at the builds
Storm Nordwind: (If it's the same place)
    Storm Nordwind: Thank you!
Raffila Millgrove: ok. there is a LM that will put you in some dress shop there. i don't have the main LM anymore.
    Santoshima Resident: thanks, raffi ~
Raffila Millgrove: the main one.. is really better as it's a great entry.
Raffila Millgrove: but i dont' have..
Santoshima Resident: it'll be fun finding
Raffila Millgrove: here is food i got there. it's very shocking.
Storm Nordwind: I was working at Cathay Pacific when I was there. Kai Tak was still going then
Raffila Millgrove: so .. if you are queasy. don't watch it.
    Storm Nordwind: hmmm
    Santoshima Resident: animated grubs?
Raffila Millgrove: this is a giant caterpiller.
    Santoshima Resident: oh, ok then
    Raffila Millgrove: giant toad
Raffila Millgrove: i eat his head first i think.
Storm Nordwind: You usually choose these from a cage or tank
Santoshima Resident: sure? looks like a lizard
Raffila Millgrove: this is the rat.
    Raffila Millgrove: or mouse.
Santoshima Resident: oh no, the squirrel/rat from my attic
Raffila Millgrove: definately i go head first on this one.
    Storm Nordwind: guinea pig maybe
Raffila Millgrove finishes up with some kind of spiderish lobster like thing.
    Santoshima Resident: ah, scorpion
    Raffila Millgrove: ah yes.
Raffila Millgrove: exactly. scorpion for dessert.
Raffila Millgrove: all this delicious food was for free. got from a cart.
    Santoshima Resident: impressive
Raffila Millgrove: ty. got tons of stuff like this. from travels far and wide.
Raffila Millgrove: always try all the food and get any freebies..
Santoshima Resident: :) will remember that
Storm Nordwind: When my inventory reached 20,000 I decided I ought to stop doing that!
Raffila Millgrove: well that is how i do it.. didn't mean as advice.. but it is good advice.
    Santoshima Resident: yes
Raffila Millgrove: well i am at 27k now.. but i keep trying to get rid of things.
Raffila Millgrove: to hold it down.
    Storm Nordwind nods
Santoshima Resident: hmm i typed a question about that, storm ... but don't remember if i launched it ...
Raffila Millgrove: but you never know.. when you might need these things.
    Storm Nordwind: Indeed
Santoshima Resident: about whether the amount in inventory slows one down
    Santoshima Resident: in this sim
    Santoshima Resident: or others
Storm Nordwind: Only what you wear San
    Raffila Millgrove: it doesn't really.
    Raffila Millgrove: the inv.
Santoshima Resident: i was heading toward 9000 and it seemed enormous
Raffila Millgrove: but.. it will slow you down in a way.. when you goto load the thing.
Santoshima Resident: oh i see, what one wears
Storm Nordwind: worn inventory, including scripts
    Santoshima Resident: i see
Storm Nordwind: Or when you are loading it after clearing cache
Raffila Millgrove: you can check that.. with avi render cost.. see how bad it all is.
Storm Nordwind: Though that comes from the asset server I think
Santoshima Resident: ok, ..... looking for that ...
    Santoshima Resident: "draw weight"?
Raffila Millgrove: we had this cool orb.. that would seriously measure your scripts accurately. some people are astounding.
Raffila Millgrove: how many they have.. and that does suck up the sim resources.. really a lot
Storm Nordwind: avatar render weight. ARC. different names
    Santoshima Resident: ok
Storm Nordwind: I have one here somewhere
Raffila Millgrove: well that is not as accurate to see how badly you're going to affec tthe sim resources.
    Raffila Millgrove: the ARC
Raffila Millgrove: that really shows how much you will .. be making it hard on the other avatars to "render" you.
Storm Nordwind: ARC affects other people's viewers, not the sim
    Raffila Millgrove: yes
Raffila Millgrove: others viewers and graphics cards etc.
    Santoshima Resident: ok
Raffila Millgrove: but the script.. measurement.. that is where the sim is impacted.
    Storm Nordwind: yes
Raffila Millgrove: and we don't have that as far as i know.. inside the viewer.
Storm Nordwind: Trying to find the box
Raffila Millgrove: that you have to use externally. stand by it.
    Santoshima Resident: hmm
Santoshima Resident: not sure what you mean, Raffi ... describing the means of measuring?
Raffila Millgrove: the box or orb.
Raffila Millgrove: taht is sitting out in a sim.
    Santoshima Resident: oh
Raffila Millgrove: when you stand by it.. it measures your scripts.
Storm Nordwind: can't remember the name ...
Santoshima Resident: in every sim there is one?
Raffila Millgrove: says how many bites that total is using.
    Raffila Millgrove: no.
Raffila Millgrove: the owner can put one of these measuring devices out. and those avis standing near it.. you can see ... it shows.. in text.. next to their names. on the orb or box.
Storm Nordwind: will get another from marketplace - they're free
    Santoshima Resident: i see
Raffila Millgrove: it's very helpful to get people to please cut down on the scripts esp when you have a big event and lots of people there.
    Storm Nordwind: Got it
    Santoshima Resident: "script useage"
Storm Nordwind: Raffi is the big hitter
Raffila Millgrove: yes. see. i am rreally bad. today.
Raffila Millgrove: that is not typical. i think it's this dress.
Raffila Millgrove: i think the whole thing is loaded with scripts. for resize. and the shoes too and the hair.
Storm Nordwind: you 're wearing 200 scripts
    Raffila Millgrove: yep
Raffila Millgrove: very unusual. for me. usually really low.
Storm Nordwind: Once you've resized, you can delete the scripts
    Storm Nordwind: Going down...
Storm Nordwind needs to reboot his modem and router to kill this lag
Santoshima Resident: are you reducing, raffi?
    Storm Nordwind: She is
    Storm Nordwind: Down by half
Santoshima Resident: is a gesture a script?

    --BELL--

Storm Nordwind: Now less than me!
    Raffila Millgrove: see?
Raffila Millgrove: it was those clothes and shoes and hair.
Raffila Millgrove: just took them off and now i am the lowest.
Storm Nordwind: Got a way to go to get under my ARC though!
Raffila Millgrove: i am at zero
Santoshima Resident: a good attempt, though :)
    Santoshima Resident: really?
    Santoshima Resident: oh, true
Santoshima Resident: for some reason, your draw weight is stil higher
    Raffila Millgrove: oh?
    Raffila Millgrove: my render arc?
Santoshima Resident: the number over your avi is 20017 / Storm is 17649 /
Santoshima Resident: and i have ....[gulp] 81108
    Raffila Millgrove: it's my hair.
Raffila Millgrove: you are really high of course.
    Santoshima Resident: ahh
Raffila Millgrove: see i cut the hair and the hood attach and i am at 1000
Raffila Millgrove does not really like go about bald.
Raffila Millgrove: but did it once.. at a tremendous sale.. where you couldn't buy things .. because of the lag factor.
Santoshima Resident: I'm not sure the effect is worth the lower numbers
Raffila Millgrove: well i do have one hair that's very low.
Raffila Millgrove: and another outfit that is lower than this one.
Storm Nordwind: If you're in the green, they say it's OK
Raffila Millgrove: so i can get really lower.
    Santoshima Resident: oh
Raffila Millgrove: i used to wear to burning life. because the lag there was ghastly.
Raffila Millgrove: and i used to have this real slow connection. now i never have lag.
    Santoshima Resident: whatsat?
    Raffila Millgrove: burning life?
    Santoshima Resident: yes
    Storm Nordwind: Annual lagfest
Raffila Millgrove: oh my gosh it was wonderful when Linden sponsored it.
Raffila Millgrove: it's like Burning man. it was so fabulous. i never missed it.
Storm Nordwind: Haven't been for several years. Is it still going?
Raffila Millgrove: sim after sim of builds.. made just for it.. very elaborate and astonishing builds.
Storm Nordwind: And usually an impressive firework display at the end
Raffila Millgrove: no.. not really. Linden quit sponsoring it.. they still try to do it but without linden support it's nothing anymore.
Raffila Millgrove: i have this couch. a flying couch.
Raffila Millgrove: and you can put all these people on it.. and glide thru... all the lag.
Raffila Millgrove: to see it. works great.
Raffila Millgrove: this was probably the biggest and coolest event in SL
Raffila Millgrove: i am still sorting the free gifts from it 2 1/2 yrs ago.
Storm Nordwind struggles through a sea of lag...
Raffila Millgrove puts some hair back on.
Raffila Millgrove: her lower prim hair.
    Santoshima Resident: :))*** !
Santoshima Resident: am now in the green, pleae to say
Santoshima Resident: low prim hair = purple
Storm Nordwind struggles through a sea of lag...
    Raffila Millgrove: haha.
    Raffila Millgrove: oh great Storm.
Raffila Millgrove: i really love that music.
Raffila Millgrove: i just heard it.
Santoshima Resident: better with the soundtrack
Raffila Millgrove: so great for lag..
    Raffila Millgrove: yes!
Storm Nordwind struggles through a sea of lag...
    Raffila Millgrove: VAngellis
Raffila Millgrove: soundtrack to that running movie.
    Raffila Millgrove: Chariots of Fire
Santoshima Resident: thank you! i accept!! the sea of lag ~
Raffila Millgrove: ok btw.. i finally got a trendy way to say.. Storm what i was trying to say about pride. i think modify with this: artisanal pride
Storm Nordwind: Oh oK - right
Storm Nordwind: As in pride in one's work
Raffila Millgrove: which is more trendy way to say.. about how a craftsman.. is going to run his hand over beautiful piece of wood he has carved and have that feeling inside. of bring the life.. out of the wood.
Raffila Millgrove: you know. yes yes.
    Raffila Millgrove: humble.
Raffila Millgrove: it's a humble.. feeling.. not one of pride.
    Storm Nordwind: yes
Raffila Millgrove: as we'd say prideful.. no a humility and awe over the creation.
    Storm Nordwind: a rejoicing
Raffila Millgrove: that is what i was trying to convey.
    Storm Nordwind: thank you :)
Raffila Millgrove: i forget San exactly what we were talking about... so i cannot recap you on it.. but I couldn't get right words for it. i promise to bring them later.
    Santoshima Resident: s'ok ... i get a sense
Storm Nordwind: You were mentioning about the build on my guardian plot i think
    Raffila Millgrove: could be.
    Santoshima Resident: :)
Raffila Millgrove: who knows. it's int he log someplace.
    Raffila Millgrove: haha
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
Raffila Millgrove: along with the rest of our blithers.
Storm Nordwind: In blither is blithe :)
